She CAN be nice but does have mood swings! There's alot of material but she summerizes it, and lets you know what EXACTLY you need for the exam.
An incredibly boring class. If you have a laptop bring it for entertainment. Reviews for exams are excellent. An easy A. Just be prepared for hours of agonizing lecture and powerpoint presentation torture.
Had to sit through boring powerpoints for the entire class. She's very clear about assignments and gives lots of extra credit. Studying the powerpoints won't help as much as studying the book for the tests.

Easy and extremely boring. I shopped online the entire class and completly re-vamped my summer wardrobe. Don't come to class without a laptop. You will be very bored.
Very easy. She teaches straight from the powerpoints and she puts them on blackboard to print off. Gives atleast 10 points extra credit for every test. 4 exams.
This class was SO EASY. She is super nice, super helpful, and ALWAYS let class out early! Definetaly the professor to have.
Mrs. Davis is a good enough person but is the single most boring teacher I have had at Sam. Her tests are fairly easy. If you want to know the truth about MGT she's probably not the best teacher to take due to the fact that she slants everything to a EXTREMELY moral stand point. She is also offended very easily by those that disagree with her

Gret prof. As others had said, kinda boring, but she truly cares about your education. Study the terms in the book and you'll make A's.
she's a great teacher & truly cares about the students & their grade.she is kind of boring but i just tuned the lecture out.wen it came time for the test i just went through the review wit the book.n made over a 100 on all test except the first cuz i didnt really study.she gives at least 10pts of extra credit every test. davis is high strung! boring class, but she's nice. do the review and study it: tests will be easy then. you could skip the lectures and make an A. it's all in the book. gives lots of easy extra credit and canceled class a lot....especially friday! laughs like a chipmunk, but it's cute!
She always comes in so intergetic and read to go. She gives a review a few days before the test... and other than those days no need to come because she goes over powerpoints. Do the review, and study it and you will be fine. She gives lots of random extra credit so thats another good thing.

She's WAY easy...gives so much extra credit (wear orange on fridays). There's really no need to come to class unless it's an extra credit day. You have to read alot out of the book to study for exams. EASY A!
Class is really easy but she is a terrible teacher. Canceled class almost once a week if not more and sent class home after attendance several times. Going to the class was a complete waste of time. If you're a slacker, take her, if you actually want to learn the subject, take anyone else.
has been my favorite professor so far. I don't consider myself a slacker, but i have tons of stuff to do in my other classes that I dont have a lot of time to spend. She does cancel class a lot...but who cares? I find it beneficial. her reviews are just like her test...and she gives a lot of extra credit. i got an A- shes awesome!
If u take her period last class mwf u hardly will ever have to attend, b/c she's absent all the time, which is not cool since were paying to learn. She reads off the powerpoint the whole time! Book required. Extra credit all the time. No reason not to earn an A. She's okay. Don't take ur cell phone out, she'll call u out on it, she's not cool.
Very cheery instructor. The subject matter is very boring but she presents the information a quick pace. She teaches from powerpoints.She gives studyguides, but you must read the book also for tests.Test are 50+ questions.Loads of extra credit but must attend to get it.Be polite, no phones, show up every day and you will do well.
I took her over the summer, really fast paced class. She was a great teacher. She gave out lots of extra credit. It is probally better to take the class during a reg. semester, lots to learn and a good class. if you have the chance to take her, take her.
She is very, very nice. Gives you tons of extra credit- wear orange on Friday's and in-class assignments. I would recommend getting the book because it makes the class easier. The tests are not super easy, but if you come to class every day, you will do really good in her class.
Davis is a fantastic professor! She is so fun and uses powerpoints to help her lecture, but doesn't read off them. You can ace her tests just by studying those. She gives tons of easy extra credit and a lot of those points are personality quizzes from the textbook, so you can easily share the cost of the book. I would def. take her again!
Online class. The entire class is only four tests. No discussions and no lectures. Hard to communicate with her so if you plan on asking her any questions it might take a while. Otherwise class is pretty straight forward just read the book review the powerpoints. She gives extra credit on her tests which was useful
Upbeat class with LOTS of extra credit opportunities!! If you show up & pay attention you are likely to do well! The exams are straight foward from the reviews and powerpoints.
Davis is very sweet and helpful. The Powerpoints are all you need for exams but you will need a book for extra credit. She gives LOTS of extra cerdit. Easy A

Boring class. I just wrote fictional stories while pretending to take notes (lol). She's very school spirited and gives you extra credit just for wearing orange on Wednesday or Friday, depending on what days the class is. She also gives extra credit from surveys in the book. 4 tests. Her review is from the book. Easy class.
Teacher never interacts with class. However, get the textbook, study the keywords from the chapters in the section, take the online quiz. no final. easy.
She's very casual. We got out early every class. Light book use,but powerpoints are where most of the material comes from. Lectures are based almost completely on powerpoints.
(Summer I) She is really nice and class is structured for success! Two exams are given, but she gave us extra credit on both to help with our grade. The class was scheduled from 6pm - 9:50pm but I don't recall us staying past 8pm. Overall I would definitely take her again and recommend her to others.

She is nice, but gets easily frustrated if someone disagrees with her in class. And seems to be slightly unorganized. She does not give a set syllabus, so that is annoying. Her class is easy if you read and has extra credit opportunities. I'd take her again.
EASY A!! only grades are 4 tests. Gives a ton of extra credit. Show up to class everyday though cause there is always extra credit opportunities. First test had like 30+ extra credit. She sometimes did not feel like teaching so she would dismiss class early
The class consisted of only four tests, all of which were from a test bank. All tests had twenty extra credit points built in. However, do NOT expect any teacher interaction! It is very much a "take the test on time" class with nothing else to it. Super easy though, all test questions found online.
Took it online. Easiest A ever. If you have a heavy course load and just need the credit take this. All the answers to the test questions are online. The entire class only consists of 4 tests. My average ended up being 109 and I spent maybe 5 hours on the course in total.

So sweet! She gives extra credit for wearing orange to class and also for random other things! If you go to class, the exams will be relatively easy especially when she adds in the extra credit! Yes it gets boring but it's an easy A for sure.
Attendance is mandatory (allow to miss 5 days); Boring class but easy A; I did not study for any of the exams - show up to class, pay attention and get the grade. Extra credit for school spirit. Mrs. Davis is great. She makes you pay attention. Campus activities are important. Bring your book to class for extra credit work. She takes role seriously. **Turn off your phones or she will call you out** Respect her and she will respect you. Over all easy class!! Just study and read the book!
Easiest class I have ever taken. So much extra credit it's ridiculous. If you can get through her amazingly boring lectures, you are pretty much guaranteed an A.
DO NOT TAKE HER ONLINE. I took her online class and I regret it so much. She makes you record yourself and you cannot use notes. Also, she was terrible about getting back to your emails.
I cannot stress to you how easy this class was. All assignments where extra credit. 4 exams with 60 questions and 10 questions were extra credit. Wear SHSU orange shirt every weds and get extra credit. Find company mission statement, income statement or balance sheet for extra credit. Did lecture and got out way early every time. Easy A
This course was easy and straight forward. If you completed the reviews you'd be successful in the exams. The professor however is not welcoming, nor helpful with her response emails being extremely rude and inconsiderate. Would not be at SHSU if all teachers were like her.
Mrs. Davis Principles of Management Class, was very easy. Each Test I Literally Studied the Powerpoints the night before and made an A on the first test and B's on the Last three test. Class Lectures can get a little boring but do go to class. She offers alot of extra credit opportunities and once week extra credit is given for wearing orange.
Class was an easy A because she gives plenty of extra credit opportunities and I didn't even buy a textbook. However, She is a very belittling person and seems to not care about students. I asked a question regarding when the test was and was immediately deemed a student who did not care about my college career. I would take again for an easy A.
She is absolutely horrible for an online course! She is rude, dismissive, sarcastic (which doesnt portray well through email) and plain just doesnt care! If you must take her do so on campus. Those students got to use all their materials, got extra credit and got to miss whatever class they wanted to,online,you get nothing!
The class is boring, but easy. She basically just takes attendance, reads the powerpoints to you & that's it. She tends to get off topic sometimes. She provides a review for each exam, the exams are all multiple choice & pretty easy. Provides TONS of extra credit opportunities. Just bear through the lectures, study your review & it's an easy A.
I took her online and it was the most awful class I've ever taken. She doesn't reply to emails and when she does you need to prepare yourself for her rude, sarcastic, and uncaring attitude. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy take this class. AWFUL.

Great professor. Very willing to help you if you come to her. Lots of extra credit towards test. Has lots of school spirit wear Orange and get extra credit. Only 4 test not hard at all to pass. Notes are on powerpoints, review and you will pass every test.
Honestly, you do not need to buy the book (unless she changes up her teaching style next semester-doubt it). She reads her pp's that she prepared straight from the text as her online lecture. I found the class to be a straight forward online class. 4 exams, and some extra credit questions on the exams to pad the grade a bit.
I took her online, she's no big deal. Just don't expect much help from her for anything. This is the kind of quality one expects from Lonestar, she shouldn't be teaching at Sam. Take her if you want, the class isn't hard, just beware you're on your own except for the virtual office. Her syllabus even says to not contact her. Really?
Take her if you can! Super easy reads power points to you, just show up for extra credit! Test were so easy. But if she has said something even once DO NOT ask her again! She is overall a nice lady though, take her if you can!

There is SO much extra credit and she applies it to the exams. It Is hard to not make an A on the exams. No matter what she says, she can be very rude at times. Ask a fellow class mate any questions you have to make sure she has not already said it or she will give you a rude answer. She praises the book and gives good reviews. Should be an easy A.

She prefers her "in person" classes over her online classes, so if you're thinking about taking her class online, don't. It's WAY harder from what I've been told, plus she gives out tons of extra credit in her face to face classes. Also, when returning exams, she likes to announce whether a person did well or poorly to the entire class.
I have no idea what Mrs. Davis teaches like in a classroom setting, but I am not hopeful for her face-to-face students considering her online presence is awful. She is your typical, upload everything on the first day of class and let it roll, kind of instructor. Terrible communication, terrible grammar, and she does not involve herself in any way.

I took this course online and I found the setup to be very easy to navigate. The syllabus and schedule are very clear. If you adhere to the schedule you will do great. The exams consist of exactly what you would find in the text. So, there shouldn't be any surprises on the exams. There are also many opportunities for extra credit.
Over the course of the semester I got 4 emails. The tests came right out of the book and the quizzes helped prepare for the test. If you have a problem she'll tell you to call tech support and expect the work to be done. No sympathy for technical problems and system errors.
Class is very easy to take especially online. Not a lot of assignments and they are due every 2 weeks. Test are given through ProctoreFree but they are easy.
Took her online and as another poster mentioned, she started the semester by posting a syllabus for the Fall term, which I printed - not the Spring term! Upon missing the exam date, I was told that no make up would be available, although we didn't even have correct due dates. Shame, because I enjoyed the material.
summer 1 class, read the entire textbook nd you should be fine. Extra credit helps with stuying so there i no point to not do it. very easy if you do the work

Davis is honestly a terrible prof. I'd rate her 4/10 overall. She is incredibly boring. Can be rude at times. Monotonic. Literally, the only good thing is the extra credit she gives. Dont expect to learn management with her. Take her for points, avoid her for knowledge.

She will absolutely put you to sleep. Her lectures are long and boring. She will call you out if she thinks you are leaving in the middle of lecture. She does take roll every class and will give you ten extra credit points for every exam (done online), if not more. She's a bit insensitive. She usually take 3-5 days to get back to you with grades.
Her lectures will put you to sleep. She does give reviews for the tests that she emails to you, but the reviews are very unclear. You're better off reading the book and going from there. She reads directly off slides and from the book. Find a study group to help with her madness, they will help you learn more than she ever will ever teach you.

I took this course online and there was very little communication between her and our class. Other than her introductory post, she never really posted anything. Assignments and due dates were posted so I was able to work on everything on my own. I once emailed her with a question and I sensed some sarcasm. Never contacted again. Extra credit!
Professor Davis is the easiest profess for this course. You get TONS of extra credit, tests are super easy, but on test days can get a little attitude. For the textbook you can buy it if you want more extra credit, but you dont really need it because she gives extra credit outside of the textbook. Lectures are boring but go anyways.
Mrs. Davis was a clear and organized teacher with assignments and test due dates, most of the assignments and quizzes were not hard if you do the work it will help you. Test are not easy (Proctor), she gives reviews for each test so study the review. She also gives extra credit!
I took this course online, did ZERO studying, I don't even remember what the online course was about... made an A. All I remember was that I forgot to take one test in the WEEK span that she provides, and she reopened it for me. Very nice of her. For non-business majors, its a perfect class to take for a credit. Proctor system, so take test early
Easy class with this professor, just studying the ppt notes and you will pass the test. GIves LOTS of extra credit opportunites b4 the test that really bump up your grade, do not need the textbook only online code for hw, good professor, helpful during office hours. Very easy class, with minimal studying you can pass.
The class is very simple. You have online assignments and online quizzes. This is all done through the e-textbook program you buy for the class. You also have several exams throughout the semester. All of it is really easy. The professor does not interact with the class much, but I didn't find that necessary.
Online instructions are vague. All she posts is material from the textbook authors. She doesn't teach or grade (all automated), gave the final a week early alongside another exam and was not very clear about who was taking what exam (all 4 tests were labeled FINAL), plus the syllabus and email sent out were contradicting. Make friends with SHSU IT.
She will give you every chance to succeed. Grade is only based on tests, but she gives you up to 10 bonus points every test. Study for the tests and make the A.

The material is super easy and there was opportunity for extra credit, however all her exams were proctored. I had a lot of technical issues regarding the proctored exams and when I emailed her, she was very unprofessional and rude. She expects you to figure things out on your own because it's not her problem, yours.
Your basic intro class. The material isn't hard, but you have to study. I memorized the flashcards in Mindtap and finished with an A. 4 tests that are 80% of your grade. All are proctored with a camera. She gives opportunities for 10 points extra credit for every exam, so be sure to do them and you should pass easily. Just study.

There is A LOT of extra credit given for each test. The lowest amount of extra credit I received was 10 points! The material is not hard, test reviews are very helpful. Attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class. Apart from that this is an easy A class.
She is super fun and keeps you laughing through the lectures. So many opportunities for extra credit, very difficult to do badly in her class.

The homework is super easy, but the tests are so hard and they are proctored so you can't use notes. I failed every single test. The homework does not prepare you for the tests at all and you will never hear from the professor.
