knows her politics and stays current with it. makes fun of bush!
Great! Wish her Pols 25 class was offered MW.
Really knows her stuff although a little unorganized. An easy and informative class.
I took two courses from her, the both courses, Comparative politics and IR were very well organized for the first 3-4 weeks, then everything fell apart and she never actually lectured on the sbject matter, but graded pretty leniently.
the brazlian loves america and its students so just go with it.
She wears the most funk ass outfits to class and is almost always 5-10 minutes late. Most classes cosnisted of talking about current events for 30-45 minutes then a page of notes at most. 2 papers the whole semester and they were incredibly easy. 2 tests
Found her to be very unhelpful
I agree w/ everyone else.
I don't feel like I learned much from her lectures, but she graded leniently and at least the discussions were usually interesting. She's also has a pretty good sense of humor.
very unorganized, allways 5-12 minutes late to class, generally 10-45 minutes spent talking offsubject on current events, generally 5-25 minutes spent talking about subjects not relavent to the classwork, easy tests, no homework, interesting class convers
always late, no HW. if you have taken a Pols course before or know anything at all, you can treat the class like a correspondence course and get an A. ridiculous at this level of education, even for a JC.
Easy teacher who doesn't give much work, just reading on your own time, a couple papers and three tests with a final thats non-cumulative. Take this teacher if you want a good grade.
She is usually 15 minutes late every class. Not hard at all, a couple of papers. Read text, take practice exams online, pass course easily.
I agree with the rest. 5-10 mins late, half of class spent on current events, super easy paper, moderately difficult multiple choice questions, very leniently graded essay questions. Overall, a very easy course in which the book taught me far more than the teacher.
The lateness definately gets annoying. Class was cancelled every other class meeting. YOu'll feel completely lost throughout the whole course but somehow manange to get an 'A'. Don't take this course if you really want to learn, otherwise it's a waste.
Very flaky, but nice. Always a couple minutes late for class. Test consist a lot of the book material except the essay portion only consists of lecture. If you attend every lecture or get notes the essay portion will be cake.
The easiest class I have ever taken in my entire life. I went to class 5 times total- 1st day of class 3 days for the 2 tests and 1 final and when we turned in the web assignments. I got a 98+ % A. EASY EASY EASY (If you have a hard load pick up this class piece of cake)
This class is for slackers. I rarely went. She was always either at least 10 minutes late or cancelled class. One assigment - a total joke (although she doesnt warn you that you need a works cited), 3 tests (multiple choice + essay questions). a lot of cheating. either buy the book OR go to class and take notes.
Great teacher, loved the lectures, very clear, would reccommend
Who cares if she's late for class. All that means is that you can be late for class too. As for the homework, I don't like homework, and I'm sure you don't either, so I don't see the problem here. In conclusion, the class is easy, you don't have to worry about attendance or showing up hungover, and its an easy 'A', what else do you need?
She was helpful. I learned a lot. She might have been late a couple times, but I got so much out of the class that it made it ok.
AWESOME teacher! She has a very organized style of lecturing which makes it easy to take notes. She also provides you with outlines too. The textbook for the class was pretty good too. She's always in a good, happy mood - always perks up my morning. I just want to hug her :-)
MORA IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. HER LEACTURES ARE VERY ORGANIZED AND STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOOK, SO IF YOU MISS A CLASS YOU CAN JUST READ THE CHAPTER AND BE CAUGHT UP. SHE ALSO GIVES EXCELLENT STUDY GUIDES FOR THE TEST, WHICH MAKES THEM FAIRLY EASY + SHE GIVES U THE ESSAY QUESTIONS IN ADVANCE. GREAT TEACHER!!!
I didn't think I was going to be interested in this class but Claudia's lectures were very interesting and entertaining. She is very knowlegable and is funny too! Her study guides are very complete and she gives great review sessions. If you do the reading and go to the lectures then this class should be an A with some effort.
I really enjoyed her lectures. She's very informative and clarifies anything of a misunderstanding. She did, however, go off into tangents, but that didn't bother me. It still was relavent to any current events that was going on at that time. Overall, I would take here again.
Do not buy the book, it is a waste of money. Just use the online quizzes at the writers website. You don't really have to go to class if you read though, honestly you don't really have to go if you just take the quizzes either. She is nice and approachable
Part way into the semester, the discussions kept getting away from the intended lecture, which put us about 3 weeks behind in the end. A test was dropped, and several countries were skimmed over. Many deadlines were pushed back, and it was tough to tell when things were due. The class was disorganized, and fell short of my expectations.
had a good time in class mostly current events discussions...no homework except for easy papers...tests were so so no open book...questions from book but some were very detailed items hard to catch
She was very disorganized. Missed several classes during the semester, and because of that and the fact that she gets off topic, we had one less test and covered less countries than we were supposed to. Very easy class though; that's why people like her.
I liked her. She is super easy on a subject that can be tough. She is an easy grader and gives you the essay questions ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect. She also offers extra credit, but i doubt u would need it she is so easy. Her accent is cool but sometimes hard to understand.
Claudia is by far the worst teacher I have had in taking 70 units at SRJC. She is a nice lady, but a horrible teacher. Avoid her, she isn't that easy. She misses class often and her lectures are very difficult to follow.
She makes a dry subject interesting. She is usually right on time or a few mins late. Tests are extremely easy you'd have to be a moron to fail one. Essay questions are told in ahead of time. The notes are easy to follow. Extra credit is easy but you wont need it. An A can't get any higher. Good class to take to raise your gpa.
A very easy A; only 3 tests and very minimal hwk. No need to show up for class or buy the book- the tests are identical to the chapter quizzes on the book website. Cancels class maybe 20% of the time and is late every day. If you're into polysci, take it from a different instructor, but if you just need an easy 3 units, this is the class for you.
Great teacher, fun to interact with and easy! take pols1 w/ her, you won' regret it!
She was fairly easy, I missed getting an A by 0.1 points. study the study guide and review all questions for essay. Essay was easy. study terms and notes she gives in class. didn't learn much. yeah, she cancelled class tons of times and was late for the most part. Don't take if you are a polisci major, because you won't take much with you.
Easy class, she's often late, no need to even buy the book because you can just use the online source (cited on the back of the book). Essay was easy. Test was easy. Don't take it if you plan on majoring in political science. Runs behind schedule< at the fault of a few people that like making too many scenerios and asking too many questions.
Cool teahcer, i enjoyed the class. Not really easy but not hard at all if u study for a test. No HW, and about 2 tests w/ test papers. Very informative and intresting if u like poltics at all
great fun class. I wish she had been more willing to point out the failures of the Bush administration! That would have been helpfull.
Fairly easy class. Lectures are boring, but you learn the material. 3 exams, 2 short papers required. Extra credit opportunities. Claudia seems like a nice woman. Study the textbook website practice exams- they help. If need this for GE, this is probably the way to go.
This class is super easy. 3 tests and 2 very simple papers. Pay attention in lectures and you'll have the answers to the essay questions. Claudia is super sweet. If you want to learn about the govt. take another class, if you want an easy A take this class.
Attendance is not a must, tests are easy multiple choice, take home essays for 1/2 the tests, but no other hw otherwise. Easy teacher, very helpful.
Highly reccomend. If school is hard for you take this class. She is very clear and gives a list of terms that will be on the test. Essay questions are really easy. She gives them to you ahead of time. I took poly sci with freidigg and dropped it then took it with moura and got an A. I would take her again
She is an incredibly easy teacher and class often takes a disscusion turn that is totally off topic. It is an enjoyable class because of the discussions however I feel that as far as actually learning the subject you will learn more from the book than in class. She is a bit forgetful but is very funny (or at least tries to be). take her for an A
easy easy easy! you don't need to buy the book. just go online and take the practice quizes- she takes the questions straight off the site.
Claudia is soooooo nice! I really enjoyed this class, the summer session was cake.
She is sooo easy, you don't have to go to class if you already know basic stuff. Plus all you have to do is take the online quizzes to know what her tests will be like. She is really nice, approachable and will let students talk about anything.
Great Professor! Loves student interaction. Very lax on grading, multiple choice exams. Final is not ****ulative . I would recommend her class to all. Take her you will be glad you did. I was scared to take class until I meet her. Great personality, not opinionated like most teachers, she cares about her students. I wish all teach's were like her!
heres the deal with Prof Moura she is an ok teacher, class is not mandatory you better show up when she changes her schedule way TOO MUCH WRITING!!! too many points on tests. we had just turned in a 5 page essay and she wanted us to turn in 3 more essays whichwe were only given a week to do!
AMAZING TEACHER! IF YOU WANT TO LEARN W/OUT HAVING TO HIT THE BOOKS TAKE THIS CLASS! 2PAPERS,3TESTS,LOTS OF X-TRA CREDIT OFFERED! STUDY GUIDES GIVEN FOR EACH TEST. NO BOOK NEEDED. I LEARNED TONS!!!!!
Good instructor. She's disorganized as all hell, though; from what I saw, she loses assignments occasionally, and you'll either get a pass on the assignment or you'll need to turn it in again (and be docked for late work), depending on variables including how much she likes you. Tests are reasonable and most of the grade. Cute accent.
She is so funny, she said if you get mad to go outside if you are going to have an out of body experience! She is easy, workload nothing, fun dynamic class!! Take her, you will love it.
Show up to class. The tests weren't challenging at all if you actually showed up. Just listen to her, and everything she lectures about will be tested. The book was purely supplimental. She's easily understood, and mentally well organized. It's not a hard subject, and she doesn't make it one. Take her class and you'll thank yourself.
other students basically said all i wanted to say...Just one more thing to add; talk to her. She makes you feel like she is your nice aunt. :)
Dont take this class if you are really interested in learning about poli sci. All we did was talk about the election, she gets off topic very easily. Attendance isnt mandatory, you dont really need the book except to study for the exams. She is funny and nice though, always cracking jokes. She has an accent which is hard to understand at times.
WOW I dont know what half these people are thinking! I chose this class cuz she was "the easiest" polysci teacher according to this website. Im pretty much failing the class and not from lack of trying. I study 4 every test and do my hw. Unless you already know everything about polysci dont take this class! Shes sweet tho always laughin at herself!
Claudia Maura is a really nice person, but i'm not very fond of her class. Some comments say that she picks up most of her exam questions from the online quizzes...thats totally not true. tests are very hard, but she's a fair grader on the papers.
She is very cute. She is funny without trying to be. I enjoyed her class, we had some great discussions. She did not lecture to much on the subjects that seemed to be on the tests, but that was also because we mostly discussed the current election every class. She has about 4 papers due but they are easy, i wrote them the day of and got full pts.
Claudia is fun and very knowledgeable about the material, however she has a tough time staying on topic. This year's election put us weeks behind schedule- we skipped two countries. She also pushed back most of the essays for the class until the last two weeks, which wasn't fun. Fun class though, otherwise.
She is very nice and funny, but not a great teacher. I have no idea where she gets some of his test questions and she isn't very helpful at all.
The class was sort of easy. Her lectures were almost useless though. Most of her test is out of the book. She either canceled or just didn't show up to 6 classes throughout the semester and it started to get frustrating especially because I was excited about taking Poli sci. No homework just 3 tests and 2 easy short essays towards the end.
I am taking this class right now and I do not enjoy it. Her lectures are boring because they almost never have anything to do with the subject matter. She will occasionally jot down some notes on the board but only if there is 1/3 tests coming up within the next week. I never bought the book, and I have an A. I attend maybe once per week for 20mins
I'm kind of on the fence about her. She is a well-informed, funny person, but at the same time very flaky. Class was canceled numerous times, and we always had to remind her where we were at in the lecture. The material does have its interesting spots, and she occasionally allowed for some (heated) discussion among the class. Overall, 7/10.
The class often got off topic, leading me to instead just read the material ahead of time and doodle during lecture, which lead to irritation when she would announce that certain chapters would be skipped. Not a difficult class, but not a cakewalk either. The teacher is nice but the scattered lectures make them hard to follow.
I love her! She's so funny and the class is pretty easy if you take notes. And if not just read the book and you'll do fine on the tests. Definitely worth taking.
Horrible! Scattered, flaky, ill prepared, late-if at all, excuses! Missed 30% classes-often without notice. Tests not relevant to reading. Text insanely detailed. Guest speakers never happened. Not able to turn on internet/projector/lights-always required help from students. Ridiculous! Save your time!
Moura is not that bad of a teacher. Sure she is late to class a lot of the time and unorganized, but she is easy. Her lectures are somewhat clear and the tests sometimes have questions not covered in class and only in the book. I would recommend taking her
Claudia is great. Show up the class, take notes, and do the assignments. She does not assign a lot of homework, and when she does it is not that difficult. She gives some extra credit. The tests are 50% scantron/ 50% written, but she prepares you well and goes over them in class. I hated Poly Sci, and still do, but she made the class fun.
I knew nothing about environmental politics nor did i really care. this class has taught me so much and i ended up getting an A with no knowledge about the subject. TAKE THIS CLASS. You will be a better person. Take home essay questions that count for most of your grade, hella extra credit, you watch movies its great
decent teacher, knows what she is talking about. i did learn a little from her class, but not once was she on time, not even to the final. she never had our assignments graded when she said she would. extremely unorganized. Her lack of motivation for the class made it really difficult to stay motivated myself and to even show up.
Only took her because it fit with my schedule. She's always late, and didn't even show up on the first day! To be honest, she put me to sleep. but she made the course easy, if you write everything down and skim the book you'll be fine. Tests were very detailed but she gave study guides and went over essay Qs in class. easy A but would not retake.
I absolutely adore this professor. She knows her stuff and is extremely knowledgeable. Plus she is always in a good mood, happy to see her students and hear what they have to say. Use your notes, book and study guide for the test, plus she allows extra credit.
If you go to class and take notes you will pass the class. She give you a study guide for every test, goes over the possible essay questions. She explain things clearly and willing to answer any questions you have. I have a learning disability and i had no problem. she really care about her students & wants you to learn. Will not put you to sleep
I was dreading taking this course but she made it so easy. The tests weren't cumulative and she goes over the possible essay questions the class before the test and posts the study guide weeks in advance. She offers extra credit and is willing to thoroughly answer any questions you may have.
I did not like this class. She was always late, and got her information wrong sometimes. I failed the first test because her tests have nothing to do with her lectures. Must read the book, highly recommend doing the online quizzes, and studying all the terms. She does give you the study guides in advance though. She only offered 10 pts extra credit
She is easy, always late, easy grader when it comes to essays. Went to the class half the time and still got a B. She gives you the possible essay questions a couple of days before the exam and then chooses the one for the test by pulling it out of a hat. Horrible handwriting so sit close to the board.
I really loved this class. Her lectures were thought-provoking and interesting. The assignments were kind of fun too, like comparing and contrasting different countries' constitutions. This class really made me want to study political science more.
Okay, first off, Moura is Brazilian. Brazilians are ALWAYS late, deal with it. She's an amazing teacher with a huge heart and is always willing to help out. If she's ever unclear, here's a tip ASK HER. Definitely not a hard class if you show up, pay attention, and ask for help. I love Moura, she's one of my favorite professors and quite funny.
Friendly, few assignments (mostly reading ver dense text book), gives study guide & essay questions ahead of time. But, she lets students derail lecture most of the time. This results in being weeks behind, constantly changing the schedule/assignments, rushed and omitted lectures. If you are generally interested, skip Moura.
Friendly, always late, tests are completely based on the book so be sure to read it. The essays are not too much work and she is a fair grader. Lectures were mostly review of book material and people arguing about politics.
I took this class over summer, which was dialed down a good amount to make up for time. This just shows how much she wants you to succeed. She is a very passionate and non-partisan teacher, who wants you to learn the material not agree with her political views. I highly recommend her, she keeps the class interesting and manageable.
Her class was pretty easy. Two midterms and a final, non-commulative. She gives you study guides for the tests. There were four assignments other than the tests. They were super easy and she's not a tough grader.
Moura is a very loving teacher that will help if you ask for it. Half the class didn't show up until the Exam days. Never read the book and studied from her study guides and Lectures. Easy A
I did not enjoy this class and had to work hard to maintain an A. Moura's lectures are long and dry and she often gets facts wrong. There are only three tests, all are non-cumulative, but they are difficult. Unless you truly enjoy politics this class will be hard for you. Offers very little extra credit for only 3 points each.
Easy A. You can learn a lot from her but she understands that most students are only taking because it's required. Got an A and never opened book. Don't buy. To pass you need to take notes and fill out study guides. definitely can ditch and get an A. Just be sure go the week of tests to get the info about in class essays ( which are easily graded).
Dr. Moura knows her stuff. She's a real teacher without a political agenda. She teaches with respect and gives real practical information. She move with gracefulness through the course and doesn't pushcram more than here class is engaged in. Look, politics needs to be a conversation NOT a heated debate in POL1. Come to class after participate
Moura is super sweet and her POL1 class is pretty simple. I barely went to class and received decent grades on her tests. She sends out study guides for her tests (total of 3) and gives you the essay topics on the test pre hand. She is a very easy grader, however, she will take FOREVER to respond to your emails. If you need help, go to office hours
Easy A. Don't buy book, study guides are all you need to pass. Nice woman with sense of humor. Kind of boring topic but that's just my opinion
This is hands down the easiest polisci class offered at the JC. If you can not pass her class, I don't believe you will be able to pass any other polisci 1 class. Just take the time to get to know her and she will give you all the help you need.
Claudia is the best teacher to take for this course. Easy grader, little work, fun lectures, and you can get away with skipping a few classes. It's an easy course, but I actually learned a lot too.
I have attempted Poli Sci 8 times this is the ONLY class I have been able to endure. Moura writes EVERYTHING out on the board that you will need to know for tests. She has GREAT test guides so as long as you study you'll do fine and prepares you with the essay questions. Xtra credit is available and she is available for office hours. GREAT CLASS
Lectures are very informative and she sends out study guides for the 3 exams to know which key ideas to fully understand. Definitely take notes and do the reading in order to be prepared for the exams. She loves to discuss current events with students and she made political science a lot more interesting than I expected. Very passionate!
If you are interested in government, then its an interesting class if not its incredibly boring. Everyday is a lecture. 3 tests plus a final. Multiple choice plus mini essay question. ALWAYS LATE TO CLASS but lets out early sometimes. Had 2 somewhat-hard HW assignments (usually there would be 3 or 4 but we ran out of time)
Lectures are long, boring, and dry. She gives you exactly what you need to study for to pass the test right before the test, so attending class is not necessary.
Funny and easy to understand. I was really worried about taking this course, but in the end Moura explained the subject well. You only really need to write the notes down and study those for the exams.
Attendance was NOT even close to mandatory. The teacher was very unorganized, I felt that the class was a waste of my time. As long as you get the study guide and study it, you will pass. Sadly, I did not learn anything because this professor was not very helpful. I would reccomend this class because it was easy to cheat in and get a good grade.
I'd recommend Ms. Moura only if you plan on taking this class for college credit. She's a nice person but she struggled to invoke any real discussion in the class. If you have a genuine interest in Political Science or if it is your major you won't learn much since her tests only require you to memorize her flashcards. Attendance is not necessary.
Moura is a nice person but makes class incredibly boring. The entire class all semester is boring lecturing with zero interaction and discussion with other students. Only one 5-page paper and three tests make up basically all of your grade, but you could skip class all the time and still pass by just reading the chapters the day before the test.
Claudia is very knowledgeable and gives good feedback. There were 2 exams and a final exam along with a few misc assignments. The multiple choice portion of the exams were a bit difficult. For the essay portion, use the key terms that are emphasized during lecture and demonstrate an understanding of the meaning. Just do the reading and you'll be ok
Very knowledgeable about the topic, but get ready to do most of the learning outside of class. It was disorganized but I really learned a lot from the book and the class discussions. Attend every lecture to pass the two tests and the finals. Overall very clear about what is expected.
C. Moura knows what she is teaching, and it shows that she is really interested in Poli Sci. She expects the class to read the textbook, but can easily pass class w/o it. She goes over the exam essay's answers with the class. She had very little assignments (4 essays), they're easy. She offers extra credit. She has key terms actice tests online.
Can be boring, and gets distracted with stories every now and then. Doesn't give out too much homework. You do 5-6 assignments throughout the semester on top of the tests. She does assign reading from the textbook, but you don't really need to read. Don't buy textbook. Just study off online pre/post test and vocab words and you can pass. Easy.
I enjoyed taking POLS2 with Claudia. She is very knowledgeable on the subject, expects us to read current events in global news and discuss what caught our interest or what's the biggest news out there. She doesn't put students on the spot, doesn't assign a ton of homework, and respectful. Take sufficient lecture notes and do the reading; easy A!
Not my favorite class. Professor Moura cares and you can tell she is passionate about the subject, but I found myself bored often. Definitely just a sit there and listen to sort of monotone lectures kind of class. She is absolutely a sweet lady, though.
COVID-19. I wish there were more assignments as before school closed we did just one assignment and the Midterm (Multi/Essay) . I had trouble focusing on class as literally anything else was more entertaining. I did not find the grading clear. I did not learn anything I didn't already know. Didn't return my emails. Not tech savy. Little ExtraC
This class was 100% lecture and 10% discussion. You are expected to read the chapters and do research about the topic if you want to do more than just pass this class. The secret to this class is elaborating prompts and homework assignments. She wants more information than she's asking for.
She's super nice and caring. Very easy on grading. Just pay attention to lecture and you'll do fine.
You do like 2-3 papers for the whole course and you have weekly 20 question quizzes that follow the book. Pretty straight forward and easy class.
If you put in the time you'll get an A. There is a weekly quiz, papers due every 2-3 weeks, no mid-term and a final essay. No group participation, bonus! If you take the time to read the chapters, study her outlines, and READ through her powerpoint. Her powerpoint has answers to the quizzes that the book does not.
This class was pretty easy, even without reading a single word you can pass if you know high school gov. The problem is her lectures are monotone and a total snooze, and she's not good at answering questions in a useful way. She tries to be approachable but still isn't. Overall, this class won't kill you, but you won't have fun either.
Moura is a very sweet professor! Very approachable outside of class and eager to answer questions. Her lectures can be a bit slow but she explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. The work is not hard and is straightforward. One of my favorite professors I have taken! I would definitely recommend her class.
Claudia is a very personable teacher, and I had a lot of fun taking her class. She assigned no weekly homework, only larger projects (usually essays) and essay exams (she allowed us to take in index cards for exams). Overall quite easy, fun, funny, and caring professor!
Professor Moura is a very kind-hearted and pretty decent grader. Although some of her lectures might sound monotone, she is extremely well-versed in this subject matter and will always try to help students succeed, including providing an additional resource to her assistant for support. I took her Spring of 2022 online, but really enjoyed her class.
The class is very easy and she tries to bring in topical issues while remaining relatively unbiased. Her lectures were always really fun because she is very funny and she really encourages class participation. She literally tells you how to answer essay questions and lets you have an index card, easy grader, and you really don't need the textbook
Professor Claudia Moura, my political science instructor, is incredibly kind and passionate. However, her lectures tend to be dull, making it challenging to stay engaged and learn anything beyond what was covered in middle school. Despite this, I appreciated the class's ease and simplicity.
Professor Moura has been amazing this semester. I have been struggling with some serious medical issues and have had to miss classes often. She is so willing to help me achieve my best grade and work with me so I can still receive a proper education and fair grading on everything. Absolutely a breath of fresh air as a professor and human.
The class was fairly easy, but her lectures were very boring. She knew her stuff, but didn't have much passion while speaking, so you could easily fall asleep. Graded by 3 tests and a few random assignments, so like 10 things total. Her writing is tiny and cursive, so if you can't see well, sit up front. Tests are based on lecture, so go to lecture
Lectures were pretty heavy and could be hard to follow, but she is clearly very knowledgeable and wants the class to succeed. Mainly graded on 3 exams, with a couple papers in between. Relatively easy class
Claudia is a great professor who really makes the often boring topics of political science and the three branches of US government interesting. Lectures are funny and relatable. Your grade consists of two midterms and a final with a paper in there too. None are extremely difficult, and I just grinded quizlet flashcards (all units have decks.)
Don't take this class if you hate lecture heavy classes. She's honestly quite boring but her work is easy and the exam aren't too bad unless you don't study. She doesn't really do attendance so you can ditch or go to like 2 classes and she wouldn't notice.
She is the sweetest lady and she also offers extra credit opportunities, but omg is her class BORING. Graded on very few things so even though the work is pretty easy, if you fall behind it is very difficult to catch back up. Three tests total and just a couple other assignments. Overall it was a good-ish class, simply just boring.
Moura is a very sweet person but her teaching style is very dull and disorganized. I didn't feel like I learned anything about environmental policy and it didn't feel like she understood the material either. Gave very little assignments mostly tests, not very helpful study guide. Classes were painful to get through.
She was really kind but the lecture could get boring at times. The grade consists of a couple assignments and 3 exams. If you like to do more hands on work this is not the class for you.
Professor Moura's POLS1 class is an easy A. Lectures can be dry, but she's kind and fair. unstuckstudy flashcards and ChatGPT helped me prepare for the exams.
I had the pleasure of taking POLS1 with Prof. Maura this year. All the information you need to succeed is in the textbook and in her detailed lectures. She is very patient in explaining everything and answering all questions in class.
Just do the work and you will pass class easily. Is is nice and fun and understanding if you come to her with problems. There was only 3 papers and 3 tests.
Prof. Moura is a very good professor. Her lectures covers exactly what's on exams, so make sure you go and take notes. There are a few homework assignments along with the 3 exams, that are all manageable if you prepare well. I really enjoyed her teaching style, and would recommend her to others.
