She is great! She has a good personality and she is very easy.

Didn't know didly squat about Spanish. Yet, Ms. Sahagun changed that. Every lesson on the board she would repeat herself until we understood. Easy to talk to and will do everything in her power to help you. Clear tests with help from her. I had no test grade lower than a 96. That's just to prove her teaching magic. Perfect Spanish Professor.

It was a REALLY easy class! She makes you do an easy presentation on a spanish speaking country at some point in the semester. She gives simple worksheets for homework and the tests are muy facil (very easy!!!) Take her TRUST ME!!! She really wants to help and make sure you understand before she moves on. I am a past student at bcc, I just graduated in may of 2006, and I cant say enough good things about this professor. In the beginning I really struggled with spanish but she was always willing to give me the extra help if I needed it. I got a C in her Spanish I class, wanted her for spanish II but was full. I highly recommend her for a teacher.

I currently have Mrs. Sahagun as my teacher and she is the best teacher AT BCC!! I had her for spanish 1,2 and 3!! AND when it comes time to choose classes i make my schedule around hers!! Claudia is the one of the best teachers out there! She always goes over the homework with us in class (she doesn't grade it)& she makes sure we understand b-4 she moves on. Her tests are EASY!! U will never b bored in her class, she makes it so fun.. she cracks jokes, etc. In all my 7 classes, that was my favorite one!

Awesome professor. Probably my favorite teacher ever. She is full of energy and I had an 8am class, by the time we walked out we were all full of her energy and practicing the spanish she had just taught us. She is very good at explaining things and will spend the extra time if you don't get it, in class or in private. I would 150% recommend her.

But it is fun and funny lol..most of my class is taking her for spanish II for winter :) You need to know your stuff for the test, but if you show up to class then you should have no problem at all :)

If you don't know spanish, she is your best bet at learning it. There's no way you can fail with her teaching. However, if you're already spanish & are looking for an easy A, just know she is going to be harder on you. She reviews EXACTLY what's on the test, one powerpoint (REALLY quick&easy), & she's VERY helpful. I passed with an A, TAKE HER.

Easy class. One PowerPoint presentation, it's easy. She reviews what's on the test. Easy homework and tests. She is very clear and makes sure you understand before moving on. I would most definitely recommend that you take her.

Easy A. She makes the subject interesting, too. She will even help you on the "quizzys"! But, dont take this class if u dont like being treated like a high school student. She expects you to be on time. Dont miss more than 3 of 4 classes. All in all awesome professor! i recommend!

Professora Sahagun is amazing! She really makes morning classes fun. Attendence is mandatory & do not come late. It gets counted against you. You have to do 10 online labs per chapter, so you need to buy the book new to get the software. She is one of the best teachers at the school and she really cares about her students.

Prof. Sahagun was easily one of the best instructors I've had at BC. Make sure you do the homework, which is a given with each lesson. However frequent, the homework reinforces the lessons. If you do it and are attentive in class you will pass, no prob. She's TONS of fun and really loves her students.

One of the best at broward college.she helps all of her students and has no problem when students ask questions. there will be 4-5 test and online assignments but that is due at the end of semester.Very good teacher.

This is the best professor in the entire world. She knows exactly how to do her job to the best of her ability. REALLY funny, class is always interesting and fun. Where do I start? I love this professor! She is so down to earth and makes it a priority to know everyone and their needs. We went over 6 chapters and had a VERY thorough review right before the exams. The presentation was a breeze, but the only thing is connect is annoying, but I LOVE HER! She is HANDS DOWN the best!

There was A LOT of assigned homework plus Connect plus flashcards for vocabulary and verbs. Keep up with it or it counts against your final grade. Professor S is wonderful, outgoing and keeps it light when learning in class. She's big on participation so pay attention!

There is a TEST each (6)chapter, a FINAL Exam and a individual PROJECT about a Spanish speaking country (you have 21 countries to choose from just Pics). HW each class (she check it) (no HW before test) and CONNECT that's due at end of the semester (unlimited tries)

I took Professor Sahagun for both Spanish 1 and 2. I would never have chosen a different teacher. Participation, Textbook and Attendance is Mandatory, The Homework and Test Reviews Would Be Your Best Friend, but at the end of it all, you would actually learn the Spanish Language because she takes her time to teach it and to make sure that you understand. she is the best Spanish professor you will ever have TAKE HER!

Profesora Sahagun has got to be the best Spanish professor ever! She is patient and makes sure that all her students understand what she is teaching. You have to put the study time in but as long as you pay attention, you'll do fine. She breaks everything down and uses quick tips to help you remember. I cannot wait to take her for SPN1121

Claudia is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She knows exactly what every student needs to pass this class, and she will do everything she can for you to pass. She is very clear with what she is looking for in assignments, and she explains every test (quiz) before you take it. If you want to achieve in this class, you will! Profesora Sahagun is one of the best professors at Broward College. She is kind and tries to be funny but also tries to explain exactly what she wants us to do. I would take her in any class. She explains exactly what we need to do.

I loved Profe! She is so passionate about learning spanish! This class is an easy A if you work hard. She cares about her students and gives them hints and ideas to help them learn. One other thing is that she loves entering her students lives! She came to a concert that I had at Bailey Hall, after the semester was over. She is just awesome!

Profe was absolutely amazing when it came to teaching me Spanish. She is easy to understand especially through this pandemic way of learning. Very good professor! As long as you PAY ATTENTION!! , ask questions, and do the homework she really looks out for you. Spanish can be difficult, but she is able to break it down easily so even the non spanish speakers understand. Graded by 6 quizzes, final (easy), 1 presentation, and connect. Take her. Youll learn alot without feeling overwhelmed.

Professor Sahagun was fun and creative but tough. Took her class online due to COVID19 but she made us feel like we were in person. She made sure that everyone understood the material even though it came out a little harsh, she tells it like it is. She will recognize if you're trying or not. Do your hw daily except the day before a test and STUDY!!

Here I am writing this review years after graduating from college. This professor was EASILY the most caring professor i've ever had in my life. She definitely made the class feel like a second home and she was the mother. She cared about everyone in the classroom and made everyone feel welcome. She was always so nice to my sister and I.

Professor Sahagun is a tough teacher, but caring. She can be a little snappy at times, but that is because she is passionate about her students learning Spanish. I really enjoyed being in her class, she has a sense of humor as well. There is a verbal and written test after each chapter, so pay attention to her lectures and you will do fine.

It was a fun class. Your Spanish doesnt need to be perfect but well enough to have a conversation. You can't speak a lick of english. Participation does matter, she likes to see and hear her students. There was hw given every class up until the last 2 weeks. Professor Sagahun is recommended though. She does care and stick up for her students.

I live in Florida and couldn't stands Spanish. Something stroke my head and i decided to take a class with Claudia, and OMG i love Spanish now! She took me from 0 to basic conversations, i understand what people talk about around me. This is the most important to be, beaing able to use my knowledge. 10/10

I'm grateful to have taken a Spanish class with professor Sahagun. She's very caring and knowledgeable. She also helped me improve my confidence when speaking Spanish and made the class very entertaining. I would definitely take her class again and I would recommend everybody to take her class that's trying to improve on their Spanish.

She is a wonderful professor and cares greatly about her students and their success. All of her classes were productive and full of learning. It is fairly easy to pass the class if you are willing to put in the work. She is not rude at all as long as you listen to and respect her. :)

Professor Sahagun is the best professor of all time, she is very caring and understanding of Spanish and non-Spanish speakers. She breaks down every lesson and ensures you understand before moving on. Teaching is her gift and all her students are better at Spanish because of her. S.S

Ms. Sahagun is an amazing teacher, but i do understand how she isnt for everyone. i LOVED her class, it was very easy to understand, and quite funny too. Shes a very understanding teacher, and helped me out with some issues i had on campus. By far one of my favorite teachers ive had. Looking forward to taking spanish 2 with her!

At first she seems very strict but she's an amazing person. She's willing to work with you if you have any difficulties, and is very understanding. You just need to do her homework that's given every class and youre good. There is a strict no devices rule in the class and she puts in the effort to help everyone improve their spanish grammaticaly.

Does her best to make the class entertaining & easy to understand. Lots of participation. Will do her best to help you succeed but you need to study & prepare for class. Can start to get frustrated with you if you are constantly not paying attention or not following classroom rules. Many people in my class struggled so some lessons were repeated.

Overall a good professor. Be aware that she does have a strict rule about having cell phones on during class so be prepared to participate. She is quite funny and she does care about you learning as long as you put in the effort. Also, she makes topics easier to understand using things like mnemonics or linking words similar to english.
