DR. Rusu knows that physics is a difficult subject for most student,he makes physics easy, trust me and take his class. Don't be in a hurry and drop his class, his test is easy, straight from home work problems. VERY LITTLE HOMEWORK, if you can't do it, ask him to show you how to do it. Open book !!!

Tests are very easy. He gives you home work assighnments If you do them You can use them as notes on your exam. They are very simular to the test questions. Lab is fun!

Dr Rusu is very knowledgeable and I enjoyed his class quite a lot. As he puts it, phys is hard but its not his fault. He is a very nice and very helpful professor if you put in the time and effort. I would highly recommend him and in fact will try to take other physics classes with him if possible. An A is very doable if you work for it.

Great class. Do assigned homework, and the 4 exam will be a breeze. Drop 1 lowest exam of 4. Can use notes, books, etc on test.

Dr Rusu will work with you if you are interested in learning. The tests appear to be easy at first, but everyone has a little trick in it. Allows books and materials, stays overtime for tests, but he will not give you any instructions prior to tests. Take the class but expect to study hard, especially if your physics skills are a bit rusty.

I enjoyed Dr. Rusu's class. He's a good instructor, but I don't know if it was the 2hr 45min class, or him. But the class was booooooriiiiiing! Labs were awesome, and so is his teaching. Maybe it's me! I'm kinda bored of physics. And no Mandatory Homework. It does help though because they (or similar to them) are used in his tests.

Really good lecturer and knows what he's doing. However you'll find yourself second guessing on exams a lot. Do NOT underestimate them. Don't focus too much on notes when studying but know how to do his practice exams inside and out. GO TO HIS OFFICE AND ASK HIM QUESTIONS. He is the most useful resource in this class lol. I love him. If you do what he tells you take good notes and remember the definitions and the cases you will do good. Everything that is in the exams he mentions at one point in class. Has a great TA. I actually learned a lot. If you are looking for an easy class it not it though.

Its a tough subject to teach. His notes that he gives you are extremely useful. All quizzes were group quizzes. hes not a bad teacher, its just a hard subject to learn. I liked his and thought he taught it well. If people dont get it then ask him and he'll help you out. If you miss a day youll miss out on important info so attendance is needed

I enjoyed his class because I enjoy physic. His grading his fair and he is very knowledgeable. Both helpful and condescending. The due date for test and assignments were changed and he didn't point that out in class at all.

Excellent instructor with lots of physic examples. Take home exams are physic cases and research reports of real companies, real operations. I enjoyed his supply chain class but too bad this is my last semester so can't take more from this guy. He has guest speakers to class too.

his class was 30 students , passed 30 students with at least B into their portfolios. That is an excellent teaching at DCCCD.

Simply amazing. Although he may seem intimidating, very helpful in person. The tests were ok to pass , however, everyone gets scaled up quite a bit so you end up with a good grade. No matter which prof you have for PHYSIC , you will get a similar grade; because of scaling in RUSU's class and lack of scaling in other classes. Tips: BONUS attention!

Okay, so even though i was critical of song for a long time, to be fair he is the best teacher of physics in richland. Definitely this class is not easy and you should only take if only you are required too. If you make A in this class, you feel like you have earned it.

He uses class time well and covers everything you need to know. The homework can be time consuming but usually has video examples that walk you through the problem. There are 3 tests and they are very similar to the review problems. You need a 92% to get an A, but it's very doable. Overall, a consistent teacher and a relatively easy class.

I took Physics 2426 during the Fall semester and I'm happy to say I survived! Physics is a very tough subject and Mr. Rusu does his best to help everyone understand the concepts. Just make sure you really hit the books. Homework for each chapter + Labs + 3 tests + final. Drops the lowest test score. Great teacher!

I took this course over Summer, so of course it was fast and very long lectures. He grades very slow, but curved on exams. He truly cares about students and I think if you show an interest he will work with you. You get to drop one lab and one test. No homework or quizzes. You can also use one full sheet of notes on exams. I would recommend!

Very good teacher. Take his class if you want to learn something. All you have to do is apply yourself. You get what you give, if you try your best and you know it is your best you will do fine. Ask questions if you don't understand. Professor Rusu is very nice and will answer any question even if you stop him. He will challenge you think a little.

English isn't my first language so it took me 2 months to understand his accent. He's nice and accept late hw and lab. He will drop 1 lowest exam and lab. If you dont have any problems in English, i would recommend him
