WHAT A JOKE! This is the easiest class I have ever took. HE IS SO BORING THOUGH!

Good teacher if you need to know the basics about Microsoft applications. Tests are harder than what I've heard before. Good attitude.

Very boring class, but he does the assignments for in class, just take notes about how to do them and it's easy, tests are lame, he likes the sound of his own voice and talks a lot..

dont bother going until you know he is gonna go over an assignment. study for tests and you'll do good.

totally recommed this class. assignments are easy, for tests just read. make sure to attend lectures when he goes over assignments. final was easy and grades on a curve.

Clay is AWESOME!!! One of the most genuinely sweet professors at State. If you can, you should take this guy, he really cares about his students and will go to great lengths to help you out. #1, don't take this class with anyone else.

This man has got to be the most BORING teacher I have had at SDSU. Exam reviews are pointless. They are used as a way for him to take up the whole class time. You are better off reading the book then going to class. Just know what chapters to study.

He is easy... lectures are boring. But, the class is easy and he is more than willing to help you out in office hours. Just read the book for the tests and you are G2G. He grades on a curve so it is an easy A if you know about computer programs.

Boring class. Not too hard. I never went to class, everyone leaves early. Tests are hard if you don't keep up with the reading. Assessments are okay, but you need to go to class to learn to info. on the assessment. Don't just depend on the book. Nice guy.

A little confusing but has good intentions. Don't really need to go to class except to hear the ever changing schedule. Just read the book. Easy assignments but harder tests, grades on the curve though.

Clay is an awesome professor,the class started out bad but ended fairly well. Go to class even if you leave early b/c he gives pointers on assignments and tests. Grades on a curve and wants you to do well. Take this professor!

Very cute...helpful, always available to e-mail for questions, lectures are funny and keep you awake. Get to know him, he's very good at what he does and knows a lot about business in the real world. Tests are a little hard, but pretty easy to get an A or B

clay's a pretty unorganized guy and this class is boring period no matter who you take but he grades on a curve i did bad on all my tests but the curve gave me a B overall and the assigments are really easy if you go to class you'll do a lot better even tho its boring

Really cool guy and teacher. He's chill.. he gives you a calendar and going to class is boring, but only go on the days he explains the assignments. On the days that he goes over the chapters in the book... stay home and dl it on blackboard. I wouldn't buy the $140 worth of books... WASTE!

Very nice guy. Material somewhat dry but he really likes it. Exams straight forward, 4 exams he drops the lowest. several assignments, etc. Always available to help at office hours.

The guy knows what he's doing and is very helpful! If you didn't do well... you're an idiot!

he is super easy! he does the assignments for you in class, then you go home and mimick what he did in class. tests were tougher than i thought, but nothing too hard. you don't really need the books as he posts the lecture slides (that are from the publishing company) on blackboard.

He is a super easy-going guy, although the class quality is nearly poor. Learning a lot about the software, MS Project. Seems like it is the first time he was teaching this class. Wasn't full prepared before the class and submit the grade late. An easy-grader.

Guys, stop whining, Clay is a very good teacher. He goes over assignments step by step in class before they are due. His exams are not easy, but if you read the book and pay attention in class - you will have no problem. I am getting A and do not have to take the final.

I thought Prof. Tyler was awsome. He really tries to help, even though a lot of students don't appreciate it. His assignments aren't that confusing if you attend lecture and pay attention. Sure, he's not the most energetic, but hey, its college, not pre-school. He's here to teach, not entertain. He curves generously, so quit your whining!!!!!!

It's a very useful class. You have to write a lot of assignments but the tests aren't too difficult. Sometimes he postes assingments too late. Hard grading in the group project.

Not an easy A...but a simple easy class. I would take him again. "MMmmK" lol. Why is this the only class I have with retards in it? Alot of 18 yo old half wits in this class that need a licking, imo. Props to Tyler for kicking that smarta** out that said he wanted an F, lol.

GREAT TEACHER. The class is easy, lectures are kind of boring. LOTS of people sleep in class. DO go to the lectures though as test questions come directly from them, and the text book. If you choose not to attend class, simply do the assignments and make sure you get full credit. The grading curve helps a lot, and overall the class is quite EASY

Best IDS teacher...bring your laptop to class and do assignments while he is showing you how and go to his office hours. Tests are kind of hard but take the final and you should be fine. He wants everyone to do well so he makes a huge curve

Just put some effort into it and you'll do fine. Assignments are easy since he goes over everything the week b4. Very helpful, so if you have any q's or trouble w/nething, go to OH. Exams are a bit tricky since there is so much material covered. Qs are mainly from slides/lecture and a # of them related to assignments. Understand them n their steps!

Very easy class, does entire assignment for you in class. You'd have to be one hell of a slacker to not do well. Exams are easily manageable by simply paying attention and occasionally skimming the book.

Great class! Tyler is a fantastic teacher. He is patient while teaching a class of 500 students, many of which are disrespectful. Clear and concise during his lectures. Experienced guest speakers from outside sources too.

Clay is allright. I found no problem talking to him outside of class. He manages projects in the real world, too, so he's pretty knowledgable about PM. The group project sucked, but I learned a lot in his class. Freshmen who whine about 180 are pu$$ies and should drop out!!!

I HATED the man early on in the semester, but he definitely grew on me. I've heard he's better than the other IDS 180 teachers. He knows what he's talking about and goes over the projects pretty thoroughly so you should get good grades on them. The tests were very hard, though.

First class he comes off as a toughy - but he's got a soft spot. USE HIS OFFICE HOURS! he's more than willing to help you! One of the FRIENDLIEST Prof's I've had at SDSU! I thought I was going to fail the class, but I passed with a B! I wish I had him for all my IDS classes! Tests are curved. Print Powerpoints before going to class, it helps

He is incredibly boring. I couldn't bring myself to go to his lectures. I stayed for like an hour once & came on exam days. It's an easy A & it doesn't hurt to look at him.

Monotone professor will bore you. Do not go to class, you will not learn much or even stay. Book was useless, class still did horrible on test which are curved. Just spend time doing assignments and extra credit. But Tyler is helpful if you go to office hours. Overall, class was pretty easy and laid back but I barely passed.

Great class, great professor. Good sense of humor. Only tough to sit through 2hr 45min class. People don't do well because they leave in the middle of his lecture. He tells you exactly how to do every assignment and gives generous extra credit. Lecture notes on BB help a lot for test, don't need book. Best IDS 180 teacher at State. Take him!

Easy class! He will never reply to your emails if you don't have "IDS 180" in the subject or your first and last name in the body. The homework is easy and you don't need prior knowledge of any of the programs. You also don't need the book, just review the powerpoints.

taken tyler, taken easton. take tyler. he makes things 400% clearer than easton and sets things black and white, theres no pop quizzes etc.. read the power points and go to A+ if you dont go to class or read the book and youll do just fine

he doesn't give out study guides, but how I passed his class was by studying the powerpoints! Highly recommend him! No quizes , 3 exams and a final. 3 big Assignments such as excel, html, and one more I forgot but it's nothing that you can't do. He also has office hours , go to that if you need any help.

Tyler was a nice man and helpful when you asked questions. the tests are all based off the textbook readings. he allows some room for extra credit. read the textbook and you get a B. also he curves the class a little at the end and it made me jump from B- to B

MIS is super hard, but Tyler is good. He is clear about what he asks for, he is a really caring teacher if you reach out. the tests are super hard, but he curves each test and curves the class. his point system is weird so it is practically impossible to know your actual grade until the end.
