PLEASE RATE THIS PROFESOR !!!! I am taking her for the fall and i have no clue how she is !! HELP ME!!

I am taking her for the summer, she does assign homeworks which is a pain in the ass, shes helpful, her tests consists of mutiple choice, true and false, fill in the blank, really wants you to learn the economic terms, shes very passionate about her teaching

The accent isn't that bad, you can understand what she explains. The homework she assigns is EXTRA CREDIT, curves tests and is extremely helpful.

material is tough, tests are multiple choice and she curves too. homework is extra credit, and i didnt have to study very much. just study the h/w and the outlines. she is very prepared for class, powerpoint lectures are a plus for me, and she will stop lecturing for a ? if u ask it

If you want an EASY class, DO NOT take Economics. If you want to learn a subject that will help you later in life, take HER class. Comments about her accent are not only unfair, they're untrue and ****. If you want to learn, she tells you how. If you need an easy class and your grade handed to you, don't take her. So she has principles, big deal!

She is an awesome teacher...I got an A in her class....the subject is not that easy but if u pay attention,study notes, and do the online quiz for practice.....you can pass her class with no problem....and doesnt require you to do lab hours.

The prof is very nice- helpful in every way possible. The class itself is not easy- but if you study, do the practice tests, and PAY ATTENTION in class- you can easily get an A. The tests are hard, but she curves them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

I had her for micro and macro and I learned a lot. She is good with detail and explains every single subject.

Negative comments are from lazy students. She explains in class every single problem included in the assignment and the test is from the assignment. An easy A.

She is very caring about students and as long as you attend class and actually listen what she says and do homeworks it is an EASY A. Of course you arrive late you cannot follow what she says and get bored.

Economics is not easy, but she is a very good professor who knows her staff and how to teach. She is not hard, but she wants students to know what she teached. Please do right the assigments and try hard the extra credits they are very helpfull in your grade.

Okay first off I just want to say that yes you actually have to listen to the lectures and put a little effort into the studies to pass. Macro is a very difficult subject but, she is very helpful and explains almost everything you need to need on the test. Do assignments and you' ll be okay. Pass the the class with an A!!

Do not be frightened by all the negative comments. Professor Aguirre is as good as it gets.She explains everything in detail, puts VERY similar problems on the tests and assignments, gives a whole lot of extra credits both in class and take homes. The only thing you must do is pay attention in class. She is one of a kind.

This is college, courses are supposed to be challenging! People are being harsh on this prof. She is super sweet and willing to help! I visited her on her office hours twice for help and she seemed to care about my education. I got an A in the class, but had to work hard. Has four exams, let's you drop the lowest grade. Gives extra credit. You will need the book! Search on YouTube for lessons by other economics professors. Economics is boring, but its easy to pass if you actually do the work.

Her class was not an easy A, I had to study and work on the assignments, but I learned a lot. When I took Applied Macro at FIU, I knew most of the material. She really goes at a light speed. Study and you will pass with a good grade.

Really nice lady, gladly helps anyone. You don't need the book as long as you study the powerpoints and go to class and take good notes. Make sure to ask questions because she covers a lot and it can get confusing. But I def recommend

Geat professor. All you ahve to do is pay attention, take notes and read the chapters and you'll do fine. ONE BIG THING, aplia must be done! if not your grade will drop a significant amount. If you do all your aplia online assignment, go to class and turn in your 3 gordon rule assignments youll be fine. The professor is very nice and cares for her students. I took her for Macro, I would have taken her for Micro also but our schedules didn't match. She talks a lot has extra credit every class, has online hw with aplia every week and her test are easy but only if you pay attention in class or read on your own. If you are lazy and want to do bare minimum don't take this class and expect an A.

Good professor. I'm majoring in Chemistry, so I'm not so interested in this class. However, I'm doing really good. There's a LOT of online homework, but it'll prepare you to do great in the tests. She loves what she does, so she takes very seriously this class. I don't doubt she's harder than many Economic professor. I recommend her though.

Professor Aguirre is a really awesome professor. She is respectful and kind to her students. She gives out a lot of extra credit work and she is always available for her office hours. There are a lot of connect assignments but nothing that is too hard. You do need to study for this class but she is always available to help.

I took her Micro blended class. She is very organized and careful with detail. All the material was posted ahead on Blackboard. You need to read and review the material. She replied all my emails in a timely manner. Her explanations in class were concrete but clear. Available after class to clarify doubts. I recommend her.

This professor is great for blended courses. If you use all the material she prepares for the class on Blackboard, reads, and works on online assignments you will be prepared for the tests. During lectures she went over problems and the most difficult stuff of each chapter. She always answered questions after class.I will take her again for macro.

I took this class for Eco2013 and Eco 2023, i loved both classes. She posts lectures on blackboard to help you. She's passionate about what she teaches. Attendance is mandatory or you'll fall behind. Would recommend 10/10 times.

Took an 8 week class which was the worst thing cause the class is hard meaning that there is a lot to cover since is an accelerated class. Anyways, she is great and really knows the material. You have to study a lot and do lots of homework. She always reminds the due dates of the homework, she is very organized. Just don't take an 8 week class.

Professor Aguirre gives amazing lectures. She "dumbs" down Macroeco for you. She teaches everything that's on her tests. Test questions were the same as the online homework/quiz/concept check questions except different numbers for the math problems. 4 tests and she dropped the lowest 1. I wanted to select more tags because Professor Aguirre was so great. She was always available to students. Yes, she is stern with mandatory attendance but as long as you are a responsible student it shouldn't be a problem. I've taken ECON TWICE at UF and failed. It was impossible for me to understand until I finally took her blended class.

This professor meets all the criteria for an excellent professor were the classes was for a whole 6 weeks and for only 2 hours a day for twice a week plus online/blended. Lots of homework and reading but not hard, it is really put at a easy level to learn. You will passed as long you stay on top of the assignment and do everything early.

Dr. Aguirre is a great teacher, If you take her class seriously you are going to generate individual rational thinking about economics. Regular amount of homework from Cengage. Four tests, your lowest grade drops, and one final, all of them with extracredits. If you want to pass the tests just read her lectures. The book is for the homeworks.

She is very clear on how to pass this course from the first day of class. You must invest a ton of study time to her power point lectures to understand economics as it becomes easier to prepare for exams. She is a clear communicator and is willing to meet during office hours/accommodate what works (She is available only a few times out of the week)

Macro is not an easy class but she makes it bearable. The online course has all the information and material that you will need during the term. She always replied my emails, almost immediately. Test questions were related with material she explained during Zoom meetings or Panopto recordings. Participation is what counts as attendance.

I took her micro economics class. She explains the material and provides all resources from day one. Exams are available for 48 hours prior to due date. Gives lots of extra-credit points, including attendance and some MindTap activities that are not difficult to complete. If you want to learn economics, just take her class.

I took her class in summer B term. Zoom lectures were long and covered a lot of material, but she provided 5-minute breaks. Zoom quizzes counted for attendance and helped me a lot to get my "A". Quizzes reviewed material explained in class and she went over the answers clarifying any doubts. Students need to pay attention during the lectures.

She really puts in the effort to teach you. There's a lot lectures but she takes the time to explain each topic to you. There is a lot of homework, but it helps you understand. The lectures are heavy, but that's expected for this class because its a lot of info. I honestly don't think there's a better professor to take this class with. Loved her!
