Two group presentations required, don't read from PowerPoint when presenting. Presentations are good method but recommend spreading them out over semester so important material not left until end. One 1000-word assignment.

Really just memorize the info!) on the lab you WILL do, to assure the material HAS BEEN READ. You'll learn nothing in his class. I took him in the summer & the only thing we did was ppt presentations. The class was not stressful at all, but you won't learn a thing. Took him for MCB2010L summer session, and I really enjoyed his class. Truth be told that he yells constantly but that's because he wants your attention. The labs were super fun. You will learn a lot in his class. A few quizzes, two fun projects, and a final. You will feel a bit disoriented in the beginning, however you will pass.

Took Anatomy1 Lab this summer,& this was THE BEST LAB that I have ever taken.What a bright man, who honestly cares for his students to learn.Nothing is easy unless you work hard for it,so yes you need to study-study for it.I would definitely suggest taking it with him if you're there to learn even more at 8AM as I did, he makes sure you're FOCUSED.

just finished taking his class and to be honest it is super easy, he gives you 4 tests to drop the lowest one, 1 assignment, 1 presentation worth 15, I have to say that I prepared myself a lot and got 9 points only. This professor is the best anatomy and physiology professor at Miami-Dade College. He is always well prepared, and makes things very clear for the students. Had him for lab and lecture , his lecture is easy as long as you study the review and multiple choice questions at the end of the chapter , there are 2 presentations. Lab is difficult, everyone gets a specific bacteria for their test you must figure out which one you have, do the service learning hours trust me ! overall good class.

Professor clemente is a good professor i thought i wasn't going to pass his class because of the grading criteria but in the end i got an A. He's a good professor just do your job and study. beware who you sit next to as those will be the students you work with in the lab report at the end of the semester. don't get scared off of his temper.

He cares about us & science & has a lifetime of knowledge, but boy the confusion. He was short-tempered & unclear w/ what he expected from us. Lecture was a waste of time, he knew it too. It was power points, online exams, & then a doozie at the end ;) ! Lab is where I learned a lot from him. Still wish we had a clear layout of wth was going lol.

Dr. Clemente is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is caring and concern about his students. He is always prepared for his classes, you can see how much he loves the material. I took him before with Biochemistry and I would definitely take it again if I could. As student you just have to demostrate him that you take his class seriously.

The teacher was great! Explains everything and has office hours always available. Answers questions respectfully, just be mindful to complete assignments on time because he does not offer extensions but he does give you enough time though so you don't have any excuses.

Took him remotely Fall 2020 due to COVID. He's a lovely professor. You must be present online for his lectures since points are given for attendance. For exams/tsts -no lockdown browser or proctored (but maybe this wall change for future classes). No backtracking allowed! Graded discussion topics on BB. Informs you of your progress. Sweet prof.

Dr. Clemente is so kind and he goes above and beyond so that you understand. He is ALWAYS willing to answer any questions and truly cares for his students' success. Thank you Dr. Clemente!

This professor is down right one of the most unprofessional teacher Ive come across super rude and if you ask him a question youre automatically on his bad side, he takes literally 30 or more of class just for attendance and you cant be late. 1/2

I took this class virtually and really liked this Professor. Grades are based on weekly BB quizzes - approx. 25 questions/30 minutes and midterm/final exams. He did offer 5 points of extra credit work as well. Entertaining and knowledgeable. Answers emails! Study hard and you'll be fine. Definitely would take him again!

I took his class MDC Live. He's very knowledgeable and wants you to learn and participate. He gets frustrated at times when no one responds, so try to be interactive when he asks questions. He gives a test for each module (about 30 Qs per test) and midterm + final. He won't tell you lol, but the textbook is optional. Always has online office hours.

Professor Clemente is truly dedicated, passionate and ensures that his students succeed. Engaging lectures and answers any questions or concerns in class. Grading based on tests for lecture and lab reports for lab (Study!) Available during office hours. Genuinely cares about his students' success. His enthusiasm is Amazing! Highly recommend!

I'm so glad that I took MCB 2010 with awesome professor Fernandez. He is so knowledgeable and organize .

Only 3 exams all online. Zoom lectures and they're heavy, but he uses the book too which helps. He explains concepts very well, and is open to questions. He genuinely wants you to succeed, I would take him again. He's very kind and funny.

Group labs which can be annoying but he explains the procedures so people don't get so lost. This past semester we didn't have to turn any reports in but that was by luck. Didn't follow the book just the syllabus. No quizzes either.

So many haters here. This was the easiest class I ever taken. No homework and tests were not proctored. Yes, he is loud and sometimes rude but who cares. Students want extensions and different scheduling for tests specific to them which is not reasonable.

No homework, a couple of tests/quizzes on canvas, and cameras on at all times. If you just follow his simple rule of keeping your camera on, he will not be irritated. Simple class with unproctored tests. Some students in class were super rude when things didn't go their way. Overall great professor with a clear set of guidelines and simple course.
