He's one of the best Physical Science teachers here. If you take that course, get that teacher!

Everyday applications were broken down and explained; this made retaining the information simple. The object was to gain knowledge on complex equations and theory and I did!

W/little gained from Physics I, I would consider myself fortunate to have had Dr. Bentley for Physics II. He allowed us to work examples in class and the student notes provided are very helpful. Instead of comprising my own notes in class, I can listen & absorb. Bonus Quizes after each concept boost your grade and keep you on your toes!

Dr. Bentley is a wonderful professor who truly cares about his students education. I love how he allows us to work out problems on the board to get a better understanding and more confidence. He interacts with the class. If anyone is stuck on a problem he will definately guide them through to find a solution. Dr. Bentley is one in a million!!!!!

Very Good Teacher he cares about his students and never misses class. Breaks down material to make it more simple to understand. Even out of class he is willing to help you with material so you can understand it. Sit in the front of the class and you will be good to go.

I took Dr. Bentley during summer school. His tests can be challenging but there are plenty f ways to make up points just by taking the daily quizzes. He is understandable, and probably the best physics teacher available. If you put forth effort, you should recieve an A in the class.

Best university physics teacher in pv!!!! Con: late classes. If u have the chance to take him pls do!!! Lots of extra credit in class. Very difficult to fail if u put a little effort into it. Quizes every meeting day but it acts as extra credit.

He is pretty easy. Extra credit is great . Gives out notes and assignments are gone over in class to better understand.

Dr.Bentley is the BEST physics teacher at PV. I failed physics the 1st time I took it but thanks to Dr.Bentley I am understanding phyiscs so much better. He breaks things down for you to understand, give extra credit, and gives helpful handouts.

His class was extremely beneficial. Even though it is calculus based, being a biology major, I felt he still taught on a level everyone could understand. I would recommend taking him for both 1 and 2

He's understanding and will take out time to tutor you. He is supportive and respects student athletes. He is funny too! I am a business major and I understood everything he taught. I highly recommend him. Never a dull moment.

It qas a moderately easy class. Gave quizzes everyday was an extra 3points each time. Three tests only.

Dr. Bentley is a Very good teacher and a very fair grader. He actually cares about doing a good job in the classroom and making sure we learn the required material. He is Very helpful if you go to him outside of class. Quizzes and tests are not easy, but if you attend his class and pay attention, it is very much possible to get an A.

He is a very good teacher and really cares about making sure everyone understands the material. The tests aren't hard as long as you do the practice tests he provides and in class quizzes and you can make an A in the class but if you skip lectures then surely it's tough to get a nice grade.

Dr. Bentley is great! I have taken him for physics 1 and 2 and loved him both times! would highly recommend him to any student who may struggle with the concepts. Quizzes given after every class for extra credit! Does a wonderful job teaching and tries hid hardest to make sure everyone does well in the class.

Clear explanations, good notes. Condenses multiple chapters into several pages of notes (which are given out to each student). Gives a review and goes over it with the class. Provides daily quizzes for extra points.

Professor Bentley was one of the best teacher I've had in my entire college career. He made sure his students understood the material. He was always willing to help us when we needed it the most . I would recommend him every time. Hands down!

You don't really do a whole lot in the class and you don't learn at all. But if you just need a good grade, take the class.

Very detailed professor when it comes to what he wants in a student. His office hours are very flexible and he is willing to offer help anytime for those who need it. Also, his lectures can be lengthy but very entertaining so anyone would enjoy having him as a professor one day!

Great professor, takes his time to teach the material. Offer office hours to help students with the lesson as well.

Does not reply to emails, very nice man but lacks communication with students! His class is very simple, watch the lecture, take the quiz(always 3 questions). The lectures sometimes can be confusing because he gets confused himself, in the zoom he will say something like I dont remember what I said, but bare with him because hes older.

Took him for general PHYS 1. All assignments are online but you do come to class for the lectureswhich is kind of optional because he takes attendance by grading quizzes. Quizzes are every class day and based on what was talked about in class. If you use the formulas provided during the lecture, quizzes and exams should be a breeze. Use resources!

I did not really learn much in his class, but he gives out quizzes for extra credit on your tests and all tests and quizzes are online.
