Quite mundane. Tests are very similar to practice tests, quizzes are pulled directly from homework. Keeps instruction simple and digestible, although he provides nothing in addition to the text.
Very good teacher. Recommended.
Great teacher, I took him for Intro Chem all the way through Organic IIand got all A's hes very nice and fair.
He took a tough textbook and makes it digestible. Teaches the stuff you need to know. Practice exams are what you need to study. If you keep up, it's an easy class. I found him to be an excellent teacher.
Didnt seem to know what he was talking about. He would have trouble answering homework questions because he never looked over them. Very monotone.
Excellent Lab teacher
very good at teaching!!!! knows his stuff!!!! he never puts anyone down, and is always willing to help you out! highly recommend when taking chemistry.
I had Dr. Stodden for 2 years in a row (Chem I and II, Organic I and II). He is an amazing teacher, and if you're in a jam, he's willing to help you realize what you need. If there was ever anything I was confused on (and in chemistry, it happened A LOT), he took the time out to explain it. Also, he is a GREAT lab teacher.
Had Dr. S for Chem II and Organic I/II w/ labs. Awesome is all I can say! Best chemistry teacher at SPC. Always willing to help! Labs were great! Chemistry is a very hard subject but he makes it understandable and if you put forth the effort to study outside of class, you should have no problems. Highly recommended!!!
Very hard! Unclear and boring!!!!!!
THIS TEACHER IS LAME....VERY MONOTONE!!!!! he doesnt care about the subject @ all...he hates his job, and he lets you know it......AVOID AT ALL COST
good teacher but u betta do ur homework
This class was extremely easy. It was exactly like my Chemistry Honors clss in high school. The practice tests are EXACTLY lik the real tests so make sure you know how to do them. The quizes are questions word for word from your homework so make sure that you do your homework as well so you can get the quizes right. The class is petty boring though
This teacher is amazing!! He explains the subject very clearly. The test and quizzes are from the homework. He tells you when quizzes are going to be and even gives you practice test. The truth do your homework and you will get an A! He is sweet and very understanding...
I took him for intro, chem 1 and will be for chem 2. He is the best teacher for chemistry and by far the best professor I have had. He makes you laugh and tries to make it as interesting as possible. His practice tests are identical to the tests and his quizes are directly from homework. He is really funny and nice I wouldn't take anyone else!
Stodden is an amazing teacher. He gives practice tests which give you a GENERAL idea of what is on the tests. If you do not pay attention in class or read the book, as well as do homework, the practice tests will not be enough to allow you to pass wach test. Regardless he is very helpful and is a good overall teacher.
Well for anyone who is stupid enough to fail his intro chem class here are some guidelines. 1. Read the lab before coming to class[the quiz is on the prelab] 2. if you still dont know something ask him he'll probably even give you the answer if you're polite becaus this is intro chem which is just a learning experience
Presentation of material is done in a clear and concise manner. Questions and real world applications are usually considered in class. I just did the example problems and went to class and I'm pullin' an A. I had chem-a-phobia. Honestly. Consistent and fair throughout term. High reco.
Stodd's if by far the best teacher to take. He knows chemistry isn't the most exciting subject, but he tries to make it fun. I wouldn't take anyone else for chem. He is the only one from Tarpon worth taking because he is helpful and funny.
Very good teacher, but sometimes he relies too heavily on examples rather than explaining. He's an extremely smart guy. He's got a great sense of humor. He makes no bones about the fact that chemistry is NOT easy, and you need to do the work to get a good grade. Do the homework and practice tests a couple of times and you'll do well.
Dr. Stodden is a great professor. I took Org. Chem. I and I must tell you that if you read the book and do your homework, you will be fine, because he does not play tricks or have anything else on his tests that you haven?t seen before, as other chem. Professors on the Tarpon Springs Campus do (there is no needs to point them out).
Great teacher! Makes everything clear and easy to understand while providing a good foundation for higher-level classes. I go to FSU and took this class last summer, and it prepared me amazingly for the rest of the classes I've taken. Highly recommend!
Dr Stodden is AWESOME! He takes the time to explain stuff, especially if U ask! His short/simple quizzes R from the Adv. study assign. Labs R fun & it makes the material easier to understand!(not that they're hard anyway!) I came N thinking I wouldn't be able to make an A, but U definately can! Nice professor & runs a great LAB(Chm1045)! Luv him!!
I took him for CHM 1025 and 1045. He is very thorough, and cares about your success. I didn't do so well on a test because I was very sick that week, and after he handed me my test back, he wanted to make sure that nothing serious was going on. Very nice, quizzes are on your homework problems so do the homework! Tests aren't that bad if you study.
I took him for GenChem 1, Orgo 1 and 2. He is a spectacular professor and is very thorough with the material. Is always willing to help and has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended.
Dr.Stodden is prob one of the coolest prof youll ever have. Hes a really really nice guy. Its orgo so you have to study,he is easy, the material is not.To get an A you HAVE to do the hw.Lots of memorization.Hes super willing to help out, really down to earth guy.Prob my fav prof of all time.Really cares about his students and is never condescending
Dr.Stodden is prob the coolest prof ever.Def the best one I've ever had.Orgo is hard but he makes the class awesome. You HAVE to do the hw from the book to get an A, uses hw probs on exam.Super willing to help out.Great in lab, really down to earth & never condescending.Exams are really straight forward.Really funny, nice guy, cares about his students
Nice guy, but not as easy as people here say he is. He's always behind in the course, so he cuts on the last chapter at the end of the semester. He thinks he's handsom with those eyebrow movements that he makes. All in all, not a bad teacher, but there's better.
Got a C in the class, which is the average with him. People were getting D's, but he curved the grade so the average was a C. He didn't teach the last two chapter of the syllabus because he takes too much time on a subject. The slowest teacher I've ever seen. There were complaints of noise in the classroom, but I didn't mind.
Be/c he takes time on a subject, U actually LEARN something, so I'm glad he DOESN'T fly thru the material! Stodden is AWESOME! He never has the attitude that he's better than others, like some prof's do! If U do the hw, U should be able 2 do the tests w/o any prob's. Chem 2 is NOT hard! U can get an A in his class- I did! He is ALWAYS there 2 help!
Stodden is great! He explains everything without books and writes his notes on the board. He makes everything understandable. He missed quite a few classes due to illness and a death in the family but still kept us up to date on what to study. I will be taking him for Organic as well. He is GREAT!!!! Also, he uses hw as a grade.
Very good teacher in my opinion. I was told I wouldn't do well in his class, however I seemed to thrive. His notes are very helpful and I like the fact he spends time on the individual subjects per chapter. If you need help do NOT be afraid to ask, he is very personable and loves the subject with enthusiasm.
I dont know why people say Stodden is easy when he is not. His tests are half conceptuals and half mathematicals..he spends all the time int he world with math problems and then when you get to the concepts you are like WTH when did he ever say this? Not only that but hes exams are just too tricky, i hated that. Ugh.
This class was pretty difficult, his tests make you THINK. Make sure you do the homework. I did the homework multiple times to prepare for his exams, and I got A's on all of them! He's very helpful. He's always willing to answer questions during his office hours. I drove all the way up to Tarpon from St. Pete to take him---well worth the drive!
Stodden is a good teacher. His tests are very difficult, but if you do the homework and the online homework you will get a good grade. I have taken him for chm 1026 and 1046 lecture and lab, and did well in all classes. Would recommend to anyone that will put the effort in. I am taking him for Organic in the fall.
Does not teach the material of the test
Dr. Stodden is a great professor. You must study to do well in the class. I read every chapter that we were tested on and easily got A's. He is willing to go over any questions you have and is always determined to find the answer if he doesn't already know it. Highly recommend him!!
I am very grateful I had a wonderful intro to Chem teacher over the summer. Not all smart people are meant to teach. It is still early in the semester, but if I hadnt already grasped the concepts from summer, I would be utterly lost now.
Stodden was by far the worst teacher i have ever had for chemistry. He constantly made mistakes and students had to correct him. He didnt teach the material on the test at all. DO NOT TAKE!
I took him for Chem 1 and now Chem 2. He is a good teacher, knows what he is talking about but does make a lot of mistakes. His practice tests do no always match his actual tests. Once you learn how he works, you can pass. Studying IS required for this course. I am taking him for Organic next semester.
Very hard to follow, confusing, monotoned.
Chem 2 is very hard. Do every owl, read every chapter and do the hw. Go to the info commons for help. You are graded on 4 exams (1 cuml. final), a couple quizes, and owl. He's super slow on grading and doesn't go over everything on the test. Go to his office for help, he doesn't mind. I hate the TS campus, they need more science teachers.
Stodden is the worst teacher I have ever had. He doesn't teach everything on his tests and goes over only bits and pieces of each chapter. I would not tell anyone to take him. He killed my love for chemistry and my gpa..
Stodden is by far the most boring teacher I have ever taken. He is so monotoned that I never want to go to class. His tests are also hard and he has annoying quizes. Don't take him! Take Emerson if you can.
Stodden was a horrendous teacher. He is extremely monotoned and his lectures only cover parts of the chapters. His tests are the hardest i have ever taken and would not recommend him to anyone. GET A DIFFERENT TEACHER!
Dr Stodden is a great, respectable professor. He KNOWS chemistry, it's not easy..you HAVE TO study. He is fair, and extremely helpful. He always offers to help if you go to his office. If you attend his class, do the homework, do the OWL assignments, you'll really enjoy his class and get an A (not easy but enjoyable journey to get)
Dr. Stodden is a good teacher. He is very nice and passionate about chemistry. I enjoyed taking him although I received a B in the class. You must read and actually pay attention in his class. If your just looking for a filler class, this is not the class for you.
Funny guy, but every time that someone challenges him or asks a question, he likely responds with sarcasm.
Dr. Stodden is a pretty fair professor. He tells you exactly what he will and won't test you on. His grading is hard, but if you attend the lecture and read the book, you will do fine. While his lectures are a bit slow, the course is meant to be slow to allow enough time for students to learn the material. This class is timed so you can succeed
Prof. Stodden was a good professor in the sense that he is methodical and accepting of input and questions. However, we missed a couple of chapters in the process. Didn't pick on sarcasm or any of that as some past comments have hinted at. Overall, I enjoyed the class; The Owl needs to go though. That really took a lot away from the class.
By far the worst professor ever. I'm a straight A student and failed this class. When students asks him a question he doesn't even know how to answer them, horrible about giving us grades back, and lies about grade policies. He's is not a professor that is "challenging" nor is the class hard, he is just an overall horrible professor.
He's very helpful and will explain something until he's exhausted all ways he knows to expain it. He can be very monotoned and his tests are difficult, but if you study, they're not that bad. He also tries to curve so that the entire class doesn't completely fail. P.S. Bring caffeine.....
Only have lab and he is very nice and grades generously. NO MIDTERM OR EXAM! Doesn't really care about composition book, just write some things in there. I cant speak for the lecture but he seems a lot easier than Italia.. Drops a lab grade as usual and quizzes he tells you in advance for. (from ther advance study assignments)
Professor Stodden is a great professor! VERY knowledgable about Chemistry and thoroughly explains each topic until you understand it. Approachable and willing to help you by explaining things even if you don't understand it the first time...or the second. Overall a great professor. I recommend him!
Always late to class. It is amazing how long he has been teaching, yet is so unprepared each class. It is as if this is his first semester teaching Chemistry. Tests are all concepts. Takes weekend vacations and uses them as an excuse for not grading quizzes and exams. Monotoned lectures. Simple labs. Fair grading. Take Emerson.
HE IS A HORRIBLE TEACHER, DOESNT TEACH WHAT IS ON THE TEST. a teacher shouldnt have to cure a test 10 points because the class average is a 52% every time.... obviously he is doing something wrong and Ive had the misfortune of taking him for chem one and two and he is no better. he knows what hes talking about, but cant explain it worth his life.
Dr. Stodden pretty much ONLY lectures. there is not much interaction with students he just goes on and on. He likes to put the HARDEST questions imaginable on quizzes and exams just to see if you know it. Forget curves and extra credit, not happening. I am a VERY good student, consistent studier, and i have STRUGGLED to understand his expectations.
I feel like many students do not understand that Chemisty II is not designed to be an easy class. That being said, Stodden is not "bad" or the "worst professor" as some would say. Yes, even the best students struggle, but if one puts in the time for studying and reading the textbook, there is a good chance for a B or even an A.
Dr. Stodden is a great professor. I didn't have any problems in class. Material explained well, but you have to also educate your self at home. Oh, wait a second! Many students think that professor has to teach them everything. Don't think so! You want to learn something, you have to study on your own too. It is a College and not a High School.
Professor Stodden is a nice guy, but has a somewhat monotone voice that put me to sleep. Lectures weren't anything special. Tests are somewhat difficult. Quzzes given for every chapter and online course work that counts towards quiz grades. Definitely need to learn from the textbook to supplement the lectures.
Tests are very difficult. Most of the class was failing throughout the semester. HW is very long and has examples on it that he doesnt go over in class. His study guides do help and the quizzes are an easy way to help your grade. He is much easier in lab, very straight forward, and helpful. Lab report due for every lab.
Tests are tough. study hard, do all the homework (yes even the ungraded stuff) and review and RE-REVIEW. it's orgo people, it's meant to be tough. Having said that, Stodden is a good teacher. if you ask for help, he will give you help. If the entire class seems confused, he will go over the concept again (this is a common occurrence)
I enjoyed the environment of his lab. He is very approachable if you have any questions about anything. Most lab periods will have a quiz in the beginning, & he goes over what will be on the quiz right before. The cons of taking Stodden is that it takes him a couple weeks to input grades & he is a tough grader when it comes to lab reports.
Pro Stoddin is ready to help anyone needs help You need to read the book and do the homework His exams are not easy but it is not impossible to get an A because the questions testing your understanding not your memorizing He curves each exam and can add 7 or 10 points to each exam grade His final exam is easier than the others
Professor Stodden is a very nice man who is very willing to help people in a difficult subject. It seemed that many people failed his tests but if you study and ask questions in class and take good notes you should do fine in the class. He assigns a lot of homework but after chapter 2 I stopped doing it and did just fine.
Horrible teacher for Into to Chem lecture, he's far too advanced. Great guy for labs though. Professor Stodden is late every day even if taken in the middle of the day. Tests are beyond hard and his practice exams are nothing like the test, ask him, he'll even confirm that. Stops often during lectures to backtrack on incorrect info. Take Emmerson.
Professor Stodden is a good teacher for Chem 1 Lecture. He gives concise lectures, assigns relevant homework, and is readily available to help students who seek his assistance. However, his class can be less organized, he does not post online study material often, and he assigns online OWL coursework aside from HW which is not always test-related.
I had Professor Stodden for my Chem 2 lecture and lab classes. He is a great lab instructor: clear, concise, kind, and helpful, assigning relevant material, and showing a passion for the study. As a lecture professor, he can be a little more vague and disorganized, and his tests can be difficult. I would suggest him to dedicated science majors.
Super easy teacher for Chem 2 lab. The quizzes come straight from the advanced study assignments and he even goes over them before the quiz. The only disadvantage is that he takes FOREVER to grade (he didn't have more than half the grades in until the night before they were due), but they all come back as As.
Lectures / tests, expect to know each formula backwards and forwards along with concepts. Obviously knows what he's talking about, but zero ability to convey the information. Always late, both lecture and lab. Cares only for significant figures for some reason, not the actual material. Slowest grader possible. Don't waste your time.
Tough professor. Good lectures. Doesn't grade things in a timely manner.
Teaches at an advanced level, not Intro like it suggests. Great if you've taken Chemistry before but I haven't. Save your money and take Julie Emerson instead. I passed her class in flying colors. Lots of extra credit available in her class too.
I'm a chemistry major and this class is HARD for anyone that does not know chemistry inside and out. Test averages were in the 60%'s, grades on a curve. The ebook hw (not graded) was confusing and a waste of time, OWL (graded) was very helpful and taught me a lot of info that he was not able to convey. Maybe 3-4 A's in the class by the end.
Professor Stodden is not as bad as everyone makes him out to be in the comments below but what i can say is that it does take him time to enter in grades. His lectures are pretty interesting, especially when you get into thermodynamics, but YOU MUST put at least 1-2 hours on the side to teach yourself on some basics that he expects you to know.
I made an A in his class, but I had to read the book to do well. He expects you to fully understand everything he goes over. This is hard if all you do is complete his study guide - you must read the book too. He grades on a curve, but he only gives enough points to bring the class average to a 75, and doesn't add more than 10 points total.
He has a monotone voice which makes lectures hard to focus on. He lectures from memory, not from the book. Lots of pointless online homework and he doesn't input any grades until the end of the semester. I postponed taking Chemistry II because he was the only professor who was teaching it. You have to read the book if you want a good grade.
Chem 2 is a tough course, but its possible to do well in this class. I liked Stodden because he wants you to succeed and hes available outside of class if you need help. His lectures are very boring and monotoned.. Heres how to get an A/B 1) Do the owls 2) Read the book after each lecture 3) Do the homework and practice tests twice 4) put time in
Biggest mistake of my life taking him for chem2! His tests are nothing like what he teaches in class and curves all of them only by a few points. Did all the owl hw and did decent on his quizzes and still managed to do poorly on all his tests. In fact half the class did. Offers no extra credit.
Stodden gives optional written HW that he goes over in class and answers any and all questions you have. If you do the written and online HW and are not bad at math you will be fine. The concept portions on the exams are the only reason I ended up with a B, the long answer math questions he gives decent partial credit and always curves a few pts
Professor Stodden is a nice guy but he does not know how to teach the material. Going to class will not help you pass. DEPEND ON YOURSELF!!!! Makes class really hard even though it is not that bad.
He times all of the quizes and tests. Not fair amount of time at all. Lectures are book heavy but tests are of his own creation. Not fun. Try and take someone else if possible.
The time given for in class quizzes is usually far too short. He does a decent job of explaining concepts in class, however, little time was spent on how to actually solve problems similar to the ones on his tests. Being proficient with math skills does not help when you encounter a type of problem on a test that didn't appear in any homework.
Professor Stodden is not a mean person but his class is absolutely boring. His voice drones on and drone and he doesnt go in depth on how to solve the problems. Overall hes not the best professor if youre not a chemistry genius or not good at math
Prof. Stodden is a really nice guy and you can tell hes really trying to help his students, but his lectures are so boring and have nothing to do with the tests. The tests are very hard & leave little room for error. Lots of homework and SO many quizzes. Dont recommend for someone who isnt great at math or understanding chemistry concepts.
Great teacher, knowledgable, but does not understand how to manage his time, AT ALL. Stodden spends literally a whole class period going over homework questions, thus making us unable to cover all the chapters that needed/should have been covered. Besides his poor time management, he's a great teacher and if you study you should get an easy A.
Hes nice but has to management of class time, this results in little comprehension by the student. The only way to pass is to study by yourself from the textbook, but be careful because he gets the test questions from a test bank (his words) and practice problems are nonexistent except for hw but the hw problems (or similar) are never on exam.
Very good professor, cuts straight to the point and is easy to understand. Also offers lots of help.
I took Stodden over summer and its was pretty easy. Chemistry is tough but he gives long lectures to cover all the sections of the chapters, he has homework online which help ALOT and his tests are just like the reviews. He is slow in class but i found it as a good opportunity to learn all the material without rushing . I got A's on all my tests.
Stoddens lectures are monotone, boring, and uninspiring. I took him for lab and lecture and he is by far the dullest professor I have. Its unfortunate because he is one of the few professors who actually teaches chemistry at SPC and hes not very good at it. I recommend taking another professor.
I took him over the summer 2019. Then again it was a 2 hour class. The lectures are pretty boring but if you pay attention and take good notes, you will pass. He is actually pretty good at explaining stuff and his notes are really easy to jot down. The reviews he has for the test are also really useful. Would take again.
He is a nice teacher, but he his lectures are pretty hard to get by. Very monotoned, but he gives a decent amount of examples in his notes. What I noticed halfway through the semester is if you read the chapter before class, you understand his a lot more. Most of his practice test questions are on his actual tests so study the practice test.
Other reviews mention Stodden being a bit monotone & while that is true, what really matters is that he does a great job explaining difficult material. Besides, this is college, not a carnival - we didnt come to be entertained, we came to learn. And Stodden will help you learn. Hes also kind & willing to explain difficult concepts.
Stodden is a wonderful professor! I have never taken a chemistry class before, but I have learned so much from him. As long as you show up for class and take good notes you will pass. He gives great examples and really is passionate about the subject matter. I would totally take a class with him again and I definitely recommend him!
Idk why people are saying bad things about him, hes nice & always willing to help with questions. Ur gonna have to study on ur own this is college. His tests are from tb banks so understand mastering homework. Only thing is he does teach a little slow. just read the tb after class and do ur work. His quizes are from hw probs. just drink coffee b4
I read the rate my professor reviews before taking Dr. Stodden for Chem 1. Dr. Stodden is a good professor, hes quite and laid back. He wants his students to succeed. He may have you memorize some information like solubility rules/polyatomic anions but besides that he gives you a formula sheet on tests. I will definitely take him again.
I'm not the best at science, and I was skeptical upon taking chem, but Professor Stodden is a great teacher and explains everything quite well. The quizzes and exams(5) are easy if you take notes during lecture, plus he drops your lowest quiz and exam grade.
AMAZING professor. Was skeptical upon taking him but turned out to be my favorite class and my favorite professor. Very helpful and accommodating. It is a tough class but if you put in the work you can absolutely get an A. Always willing to answer questions during and after class. Cares a lot about his students. Would 100% take him again!
At first, Stodden's monotone voice gives off this impression that the lectures would be difficult. Dr. Stodden is an outstandingly great professor that cares about his students success just as much as the material he is trying to emphasize on. Chemistry isn't easy, however, he has office hours and responds to emails (even at late hours in the day)
The lectures are by far one of the most dragged out and attention lacking lectures I have had so far. He gives inadequate time for quizzes and does not let you know when the times on the quizzes are going to change and you can not check yourself due to the fact they don't open until the day of. He has not answered emails very well.
I can tell professor Stodden is a good guy, but I don't think he's the best professor. I took him a few semesters ago before COVID struck and he was pretty good. The lectures were educational and all. But with online class, the lectures haven't been as good. The tests are also nothing like the practice tests. Maybe it's the online learning.
Professor Stodden is a good professor despite the fact that he doesn't put in the course calendar when important dates are such as exams/tests. He will not tell u there is a test until the day before and it will be proctored through honorlock. Therefore, he expects you to study everything for ONE DAY and be good to go.
I think Prof Stodden is a great teacher, the only problem is that he takes a while to grade. Other than that, his labs were pretty easy as he gave brief lectures and was very good at explaining the procedure. He was super helpful if we ever had questions. I would recommend him for lab.
The course material itself is not difficult. You just have to get over his monotone lectures. Live online option amplified this. Reached out to have (2) exams extended and was very understanding. Seemed unorganized and assigned work to do as we went along. Mastering chemistry was utilized to complete homework assignments and exams.
Dr. Stodden is an AMAZING chemistry professor. Although he gives two different types of homework, mastering chem and the book homework, they help you further understand the content and ace the chapter quizzes and exams. In addition, he is very open about his office hours and always encourages students to see him if they don't understand anything.
STAY AWAY FROM STODDEN. HE IS ABSLOUTELY THE WORST PROFESSOR EVER. HE DOES NOT EXPLAIN ANYTHING IN CLASS. HE MAKES STUDENTS DO EVERYTHING AND EXPECT THEM TO PASS HIS CLASS. VERY DISORGANIZED AND DOES NOT GRADE ASSINGMENTS ON TIME. WENT TO HIS OFFICE ONE DAY TO ASK FOR LECTURE HELP, HE SAID YOU CAN DROP THE CLASS HE DOES NOT HELP STUDENTS
He's a very lecture-heavy professor, and he's not very good at reviewing the homework even though he said he would at the beginning of the year. He responds to emails pretty fast though and is lenient with the OWLS. He's a little hostile when it comes to asking questions in person, but the class was ok overall.
I do not understand any of the hate on here. He is a great professor that will work with you if you go to his office hours. He wants his students to do well and is very thorough and goes slowly with his lectures (so you can take really good notes). He taught me so much and I am so glad that I took this class with him. Go Stodden!
Dr. Stodden was a great professor! He was always available to answer questions after class or at office hours. You will have to work to earn your grade, but the test material comes from MasteringChemistry homework, lecture, and the textbook. Lecture was a bit dull at times, but I was able to learn a lot.
Taking Dr. Stodden was a great experience. He made class interesting and goes through each problem with detail. Don't expect an easy A, like any chemistry class. However, you can expect a lot of support if you seek it.
0/10 professor. The only reason I gave him a 2/5 is because I've had one other teacher that was worse than him. He gives boring monotone lectures and gets mad when the class is lost or doesn't know the answer to a question he asks in lecture. Definitely would not recommend.
He does have a monotone voice during lectures, but he does know what he's talking about. If you just pay attention during lecture, you should do fine on the tests. The practice tests are very similar to the actual tests. Do assigned homework to study for quizzes. Doing practice problems will get you an A. Make sure you attend lecture. Nice guy
Stodden is a solid professor - his lectures can be dry, but he cares about student success. The workload is challenging, but mastering the homework and textbook will pay off. I found Unstuck study useful for efficient study prep.
