Clint is amazing. He understands college is hard and you have multiple classes and lots of homework. He is caring and compassionate and is willing to listen to your comments. His schedule is fast paced but he has structured the class so he can push off some of the days if needed due to class discussion.

Loved this class! I'm so glad I took it from Professor Broadbent. He was great at really teaching the material in a way that helped you understand the concepts. He does expect you to read the textbook and there are some test questions on concepts that are only in the book. Overall his tests were pretty straightforward and he always reviewed before.

Clint makes you want to go to class. He takes interest in his students and wants the best for them. He always tries to answer everyones questions. He gives points for attendance and the assignments are easy. Clint also gives a test review before each exam so as long as you study those youll pass the exams.

Great class, attendance is taken occasionally. NO extra credit. Clint cares about his students and gives good feedback, there is a final group project which sucks if you hate group projects. Graded on assignments, there's an easy assignment due every week. Only a few tests, they don't count for the majority of your grade, but they are hard.

Clint is an amazing professor. He lets you know that he cares about you and your education! Sometimes it feels like you're not exactly sure what's going on, but if you just ask and participate, it will all be cleared up! One of the only bummers was that we only used the expensive textbook a handful of times.

His lectures are funny, memorable, and he goes slow enough to prompt discussion within the class. There is a weekly assignment that relates to lecture, but it's often simple. I loved this class because of the caring atmosphere that Clint provided. He was understanding of peoples situation and was one of the many professors I have had that actually cared about his students. My favorite part was being able see the different sides of Clint, in which he became our dad, therapist, voice of reason or whatever else we needed.

Professor Broadbent did a good job of explaining concepts. Homework load was not too heavy and the homework related to what we were learning in class. Only part I did not enjoy is how much memorizing was necessary for this course. Overall a pretty good course, if I had to take it again I would take it from this professor.

Take this class! Homework is worth more then the tests so don't sweat it if you don't do well on tests. He would always come in with a smile and genuine excitement to teach, which made the class more enjoyable. Classes were lecture heavy, but not boring, and he made them more interactive than just spitting information in your face. Professor Broadbent is amazing and his class was enjoyable. In this course, the students have an opportunity to teach their fellow classmates on certain topics, which was a great experience. He is very disorganized though so grades weren't usually up to date and it was unclear what needed to be done on some assignments. But he is understanding and works with the due dates etc. 3700 was purely a discussion based class which I didn't love.

He gave really great lectures and made class entertaining. Tests aren't worth very much of your grade which is good because they weren't really based on what you learned so it didn't matter how much you studied, you would still miss a bunch of random stuff. It was still a really easy class tho and interesting to learn about.

If you go to class you'll be set. This class won't take all of your time, but it does take effort. His lectures are super interesting and he clearly outlines what you need to know for the exams. He is super understanding and always willing to help you out if you are making an effort in his class.

However, this was my first time taking an online class with him and it wasn't as good as his in person classes. The textbook for this particular class was pointless, we only read 3 chapters from it.

I took this class for a Pre-requisite for my degree. I was at first irritated, but after a couple weeks in I really found I enjoyed the class. The professor is great, he is easy to talk to and get help from. Gives tons of opportunity to get a good grade. You just have to do the work. It's not hard, just busy. 100% recommend this class and professor

Great professor! Took for 4100. Youll have a a small one page paper every week and one big paper at the very end of course. Very discussion heavy class but its not boring!

Clint was a great professor. He cares so much about his students and his lectures were great. Our lectures were super interesting but he would get distracted pretty easily. You can take his tests twice so it's pretty easy to get an A in this class as long as you do the other assignments. You can tell that he wants all of his students to do well.

Show up, or don't, you will pass. He is EXTREMELY caring, and got to know 100 + students personally in my class alone. weekly discussions are worth the most points, so be prepared for those. Exams were easy, assignments were easy.

I absolutely loved this class and Professor Broadbent. He is so caring and funny and he will do anything to help you. There is a lot of homework and reading but nothing too difficult. There are a few tests and you will need to study for those really hard just because you need to know a lot of information.

He is super funny! He gets distracted sometimes but it's still enjoyable. I ended up just using the slides to study and didn't watch class at the end. The tests aren't too hard if you just go over the slides a few times. He gives you chances to improve. His weekly assignments are interesting. There are weekly discussions too. I rarely used the book

Professor Broadbent is such a nice person. The class was easy enough, but sometimes the lectures pointless. He is chatty and likes to have conversations with all of his students, so some of the test questions weren't covered. All in all, I enjoyed the material and the teacher. Keep in mind I took this class in a zoom model due to the pandemic.

Easily my favorite professors for my first year! If you have the chance to take one of his classes DO IT, even if his courses aren't required for your major. His lectures are interesting to listen to and I never dreaded having to go to his class. You learn so much without even realizing it. He really cares about his students and makes that known.

Professor Broadbent is honestly one of most down to earth teachers I have had this semester. He is not too great about getting back to emails and offices hours are very limited but over all in the classroom he rocks it. It is a very easy class and hard to not pass.

Clint teaches in a way that helps students retain the class topics learned outside of class. The topics he taught were able to be applied to every day life and I would highly encourage anyone from any major to take this class from Clint because it applies to everyone. I also appreciated that he taught with passion and experience about the topics.

One of my favorite professors! I've looked forward to going to this class all semester, I've never once felt bored in class, and I've learned a lot! The textbook is "required," but you honestly don't need it. There's weekly assignments and one major group project, but it's all very straightforward and easy if you just get it done. Overall, 10/10!

Clint is high energy. He has a simple assignment (normally a page or two paper/activity) due every Friday. He has 4 tests, which felt harder than you would expect from the class but not impossible. He does have textbook readings and they are such long chapters, so I stopped reading them and just hoped for the best on the tests.

This was my absolute favorite class and was always entertaining. It was my earliest class which was nice because it made me excited to get up and go to class. I really do recommend the class and professor. I have nothing bad to say about it.

Even though I had Mr. Broadbent's class bright and early in the morning he always made it an exciting class with lots of enthusiasm. Grades were always put in at a reasonable time and feedback was given. He cared for us and our overall well being and of course our grades.

Broadbent genuinely cares for the learning for his students which is apparent in his teaching. His larger classes it is harder to get to know him and is very lecuturesk but his smaller classes are filled with discussion and very engaging.

Assignments were meaningful. Tests were all multiple choice, and questions are not meant to trick you. I highly recommend this class.

Clint Broadbent is a fantastic professor. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and truly loves it. his lectures are enjoyable and he conveys the material in very clear and fun way.

Clint provides a safe and welcoming environment. I always leave class with a smile and a fun memory to start my day off

Clint is really invested in teaching and it's clear that he really loves his job. This class is really easy the syllabus shows everything that's due from the beginning of the semester and he'll take off anything from the tests that he didn't quite get to in class. He's a really fair grader- this class is an easy A.

Clint was a phenonemal teacher, really engaging during class and you can just tell that he loves teaching. His syllabus was accurate, so as long as you took the twenty minutes to an hour to do the assignment each week, you'll be fine, and if he offers extra credit, do it. It'll be fairly simple and won't happen again probably.

He is awesome and always willing to work with you. His classes are easy to follow and his tests/assignments are pretty easy too.

Super fun class. The class is discussion-based and assignments/tests are super easy if you just come to class. I didn't even get the textbook and I did great. Any papers for his class are not research-based. He just wants you to really think about the content and apply it to your own life. More like Journal entries etc.

FANTASTIC PROFESSOR! Clint is such a great professor and his lectures are great, he is very funny and does some dad jokes. There is a group project that you do but it is very easy and it counts as part of the final. The presentations are typically about a month before the end of the semester. The homework is very easy and takes about 30min- 1 hour.

Such an amazing professor! Super engaging and easy to understand. You will need the textbook, but it isn't a textbook-heavy class. If you follow his study guides and pay attention in class, you will do well on the exams. Highly recommend!!

I can't graduate without sharing how incredible this professor is. I have never seen someone facilitate such a safe, and engaging environment for students to learn not only the professor but from other students. I appreciate how he integrated current research and his own practical experiences in discussion. He cares about his students.

Not to pick favorites but Clint is my favorite! I looked forward to class. I learned a ton & use it in my life often. my interest was always held in lecture! Assignments were simple/well explained. Exams were never stressful, study guide was clear. I felt comfortable raising my hand in class I'm shy lol. I always felt comfortable talking to Clint!

This class was great and Professor Broadbent was an awesome professor. There was a textbook but I found that if I paid attention in class and studied the study guide I didn't always need to do the reading. I learned a lot in this class and would definitely recommend.

You do have a textbook but I didn't use it and still got really good grades. Take notes in class and you should be set. He has study guides for each test and does a review usually also

Professor Broadbent was amazing! Definitely a lecture heavy class but he is super interesting and cares deeply about his students. His exams definitely weren't easy but if you study the right material you should be fine. We had assignments every other week that took time to do but weren't hard. This was a fun class to take.

Clint is the nicest guy on the planet. The best term I could think to describe him is "girl-dad". His course has a textbook, but I never got it due to a printing issue. I decided I would try to go without and was able to pull well above an A. There was things on the tests that were only in the book, but not a crazy amount.

This was the best class that I've taken. The way Professor Broadbent teaches material makes every topic the most interesting thing you've ever learned. I would change my major to be able to take another one of his classes. I 100% recommend taking this class and there is no way you would regret it.

ClINT IS THE BEST!! His lectures are so entertaining and his assignments are fairly easy! He gives you study guides for all four exams. If you do the study guide and study it you will do fine on the test. Attendance isn't mandatory however, he gives you easy attendance quizzes to boost your grade. Clint is caring and passionate about his job!

I loved Clint's class this semester! The lectures were always entertaining so I enjoyed going to class each week. You'll definitely need to spend some time reading the textbook every week but Clint also provides great study guides for each exam. I'm so glad I got to take this class and would recommend to everybody!

CLINT IS THE BEST! I am so glad I took his class in my first semester here at SUU. He was the first face I was introduced to, and he is so warm and caring. I loved the interaction from him in his classes, his tangents were awesome. I feel like he always helped the learning process along and made getting an A very easy.

Not only was the subject really easy, but he made it seem like it was nothing! I would heavily recommend him for anyone needing a social science class. Not a lot to say! (I'm gonna be honest, I didn't show up a good chuck of the semester and still managed to get an A). He has attendance quizzes randomly, so attendance is semi-mandatory.
