This guy is full of himself and likes to make others look stupid so he can feel better about himself. One of the worst teachers on campus! Stay away from him if you want to learn something.

Fun class. I was always interested and I learned quite a bit. And despite everyone else's comments, I didn't notice an ego problem.

Good teacher. You will go broke printing out his power point slides. Eager to help and wants you to succeed. If you are decent at Geography, the class is easy.

I personally liked him. Took care of himself, but not full of himself. Taught well, interesting,and no trickery on tests like others said. Down to earth since hes young, and relates to the class. Easy to find and talk to outside of class or in his office. Would take him again.Type of person I could be friends with.

He is extremely helpful and really down to earth. I don't see where others say he has an ego problem. He is willing to help you if you ask him. He really tries to make sure that each student understands all the material. He's not bad to look at either.

He is a nice teacher. I like the fact that he got to gie the students the chance for extra credit very simple. Man those comments abou him are so nasty!! I do not think he is that bad though good class I learned a lot!

I don't know what is wrong with his ealier students, but they must be idiots. He tells you exactly what you should know for each test and his class is very easy if you do the work and make an effort. He is enthusiastic about his subject and draws you into his lectures. Great professor and I don't even LIKE Geography.

Good teacher, passionate about the topic, great lecturer (notes are very clear). The class is easy if you put forth a bit of effort. Requires one four minute presentation from everyone at the end of the year. Tells you what will be on test.

I think Clint is a really good professor. He took a subject that I really didn't care about and made it interesting. I can now chime in on conversations about different cultures. Thanx Clint! I would recommend him to all students who have to take a geography course!

Awesome teacher, presentations graded easily, no papers, interesting videos that tied into class, printed notes from oncourse, easy to follow, complete study guide for every test. And he's my friend on facebook. Cute, but taken. :(

Awesome professor! Took him over the summer and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Time flew and he is pretty easy on the eyes! Very smiley and involved with his students. Don't care for geography at all but didn't find it hard to get interested or come to class. Would definitely recommend him to anyone! Easy grade! :)

Very passionate. Test are very easy. He gives a very good study guide for the material that will be one the test. The test are short only 40 questions.

Took hybrid class. While in class, made the topic very interesting. When problems came up with the online assignments, he was very helpful. Overall, great professor and highly recommended.

Clint Franklin was an awesome teacher. He was very passionate about Geography. The class lectures are very interesting and are mandatory. The tests are quite easy. A lot of interesting videos were viewed both in class and outside of class. I really enjoyed taking his class. Great professor!

Clint Franklin is the BEST professor I have ever had at IUS. He presents the material in a way you will remember and understand! His tests are simple, ther's extra credit, and it's easy to get an A! LOVED him and his class! Take it for sure!

He is the best teacher i have ever had. I walked in scared on the first day and stuck it through learned so much studied and got an A. He only has four quizzes and a presentation and its easy! He is very passionate and love his job... knows materials. well rounded teaching skills: notes, movie clips, maps, etc. Took a lot of knowledge with me!

I was a little unsure at first because I have never really taken any geography classes before but Clint really loves what he does. He cares about his students. He wants you to ask questions, send him emails or visit him during office hours. If you make an effort he will remember you. Really consider taking his class, you will learn lots.

I loved this class. It was easy and the material was mostly common sense. Clint is very good at his job and you can clearly see that in the way he teaches and interacts with his students. He is very smart and well organized. He helps most times but if he is busy then you won't get much and/or he is a little harsh in tone. Overall he is laid back and his classes can be enjoyable, especially if you are sitting front row ;)

Not only is he the best professor at IUS, but this class itself is also the best. The subject matter was so interesting and fun! He is such a nice, organized, and helpful teacher. The project assigned is very fun, and the tests are not hard at all. Just as long as you study..& it's easy to study, because the material is fun! I highly recommend him!

Awesome professor. Extremely nice and helpful, and really knows how to take a complicated concept and make it simple. I was interested in geography before this class, but I think even if you don't like it he can make it interesting! His class isn't hard, but you'll learn a lot while you're in there. I was actually kind of sad when this class ended.

One of the best professors I have ever had at IUS. He is easy to contact and understands that life happens outside of the classroom. Not an "easy" A but an easy course if the student just does what he expects from everyone. Pay attention to class, take notes, read text, and study! Do this and you'll be fine!

Very nice and helpful teacher. Reading is required for extra credit but it helps. Class is very interesting and fun. Clint is my favorite teacher I've had at IUS so far!

Teaches with powerpoint. Knows what he is talking about and very interested in his subject. Learned a lot and made me think. One presentation, but he grades easy. Test are multiple choice and map matching. Let''s you call him buy his first name if you want; not uptight at all. Let's you text and use a laptop if you want.

Professor is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about material covered in class. Uses text book as well as power point. Class is easy as long as you attend. Loved this class. Would recommend it to everybody!

He is a very good professor. He cares about his students doing well and keeping them interested. If you ask for help he will bend over backwards to help you as long as you are willing to help yourself. Make sure you read the textbook and the power points. I would love to take this class again or have him as a professor.

I took Clint for Geog-G 201, but it was the hybrid course. You attend every pretty much once a week after the first week. You go over the entire world. It does require some memorization, but if you just study for a couple hours there is no reason to not get an A. I received an A in this class and loved being in the course. Great Job Clint!

Clint is one of my favorite professors I've had at IUS. His teaching style really helps you to learn the skills and not just remember them for the test. I've taken three of his classes so far and would recommend him to anyone.

I took this course over the summer and it was condensed and intense. Professor Franklin went above and beyond to be available outside of class to answer any questions and help on assignments, he is amazing. You will have to put in time for this course and keep in contact with him about any problems that arise. Great course, will take him for 438.

Although I've only had him for an online class, he is definitely one of the best professors I've had. He is so understanding and easy going, plus he is organized and the class itself is very manageable with plenty of time to turn things in. Everything is due on the same day each week, which makes planning really easy. He's great!!

Professor Franklin really wants students to learn and enjoy the process of learning. i took this class online and it was very well organized and grading was fair. You will have to work a bit, but you'll learn a lot and as long as you do what is laid out in the assignments you'll get a good grade from him. Tests timed and hard. but not worth much.

I have had Clint for 3 classes, and he continues to be and amazing professor. 438 is a little tough as there is more problem solving involved instead of following "cook-book recipes" in 338. That being said, the course is laid out pretty much the same. I learned more in this class that I can use out in the field and highly suggest this class.

Good professor. Do the study guides and learn the map locations and you will pass quizzes no problem. He offers extra credit pop quizzes (so you will do good if you read) and offers extra points on quizzes. No homework

If you can take this professor for any class do it. He is so kind and caring and makes any difficult topic easy to understand. He is so incredibly helpful and patient and if you don't understand something he will go so far out of his way to help you. I learned so much in his course and simply cannot give this man enough praise. TAKE HIM.

He does give homework, but it's not very heavy. His lectures are amazing, however you will have to go to class in order to pass! 0

Mr. Franklin is fantastic. I love his assignments and feedback, though I would like to hear from him a bit more when he thinks you're doing well and doesn't have direct experience with a topic. That is to say, the only complaint I have is that you don't get quite enough of him in a summer course. I'd study the phonebook with him.

Professor Franklin is an amazing professor would highly recommend him, he's knowledgable, respectful, gave lots of extra credit, does a great job preparing students for the exams as long as you do your part by participating and studying, I'm gonna finish with a C but that's not his doing he puts forth more effort as a professor than any I've had

Clint is one of the best professors at IUS. His course work is clearly laid out, he is passionate about his teaching career. He can be reached QUICKLY outside of class. Attendance is mandatory, kind of. If you attend his class, he will tell you exactly what is on the test. He makes the class enjoyable and uses real world examples in his lectures.

The class itself is very easy. I just kind of felt like he was looking for anything and everything to count points off for which was just annoying. But again, very easy, low stress kinda class.

Absolute GOAT. I was scared to take GIS at first. After a few lectures, it wasn't so anxiety inducing anymore and I really enjoyed it.

Loves taking Clint's class. You use the book for vocabulary and some test questions. I recommend asking a few people to split up the cost of a textbook and share it. Very fun class and definitely using a lot of the material for the future.

This is one of the only classes where I was upset I missed a class. His lectures ensure the information he needs you to know makes it into your brain. His teaching style is unparalleled, and I take the best notes in his classes. Never be afraid to ask questions or answer them. He tells you exactly what you need for tests.
