Great professor - really knows how to teach. 3 tests that are all easy as long as you pay attention to his lectures and take good notes. You get extra credit points for showing up to class. He also doesn't use the textbook, so that saves you money. Dr. Starr made this class a breeze!

Worst professor I've ever had in my college experience. Yes, he likes what he teaches but doesn't care about his students at all. Very rude when questions are answered wrong and course work was ridiculous. Tests were tricky, essays weren't too bad but if late 20 pts were lost...Find a teacher who cares about your concerns b/c this one doesn't!!

Asked for help with the major paper project and was still unclear of what the teacher was really asking for. I revived a 90 on the paper, but felt like I could have done better if he was more clear on what he was looking for. Quizzes were given every week. And if you are not a good note taker or skip class, don't even bother taking this class. The professor does not teach out of the book, he only talks about what is I the power point, so if you aren't there or down take good notes you will fail.

Professor Starr was great this semester. He doesn't get off topic and give clear instructions. If there is something important mentioned in class that could appear on the exams, he tends to repeat it at least two or three times. All exams are based off the lecture outlines and notes thats you take in class. History is hard for me so this was nice.
