it is a 5-unit class and there is a TON of material. he is ultra-approachable and gives you everything you need. i liked him alot.

He's young, bright, and knows his stuff. This guys got his stuff together. Easy to approach and get extra help for a tough class. Very religious. Thought I'd add that.

One of the best teachers I have had. Excellent science teacher. He's passionate about his subject and can make the material very exciting even if you're talking about action potentials. Very approachable. Very helpful.

He is awesome!!! I took anatomy before and I failed with a big, giant F!! But I have an A in his class right now...he is very clear and cracks a few jokes every now and then. It makes the class even thatt more interesting. I definately recommend him.

I am in love. Mr. Linder has the most adorable personality. He is great teacher, just young enough not to be grumpy and fed up with students yet. Tests are strait forward, no trick questions. He is very helpful if you need the extra help. He always makes time for his students. I give him an A++++++++++++++++++

Very organized teacher. He keeps you on your toes in class won't let you sleep in class but no one does. He gives you everything that you need to get an A in class, you have to do the rest. I suggest taking him for physiology as well.

He is hard, so study. In anatomy study the unimportiant structures (the dent on the bone, the ruff structure on the bone), in phys study the hormones and enzymes, but just study (you do learn alot)

This class is not easy! You will need to go to class every day, reread lecture/book notes, and study throughout the entire semester, not just when exams are coming up. In addition, do not expect any breaks or favors from Mr. Linder. He will give you none! With that said, Mr. Linder is a great 'teacher' and will always be there to help you 'get it.'

bio24 Good teacher but anatomy is always gonna be hard he makes it easy to learn and provides fill in notes. you will study and need to attend class. You really learn a lot, which is a good thing.

Great teacher, very help full if you do your part. If you take bio22 with mr. linder, make sure you prepare to study you butt off. because it is extremelly difficult if you don;t study But after the final you should feel proud to have mr. linder to be your teacher because you actually learn alot and it will be help for your class such as pathoclas

He is a great teacher...You really dont need to use the book unless you are confused about something. Just take good notes and study thouse...lab book is a must. He will do the best to help you.

For some reason he is listed under health science and not bio... there are more ratings there. Good teacher, tries to condense material to help u out. Study guides and ull do goood, and lab manual

Mr. Linder was one of the best health science teachers i have ever had. His material was lengthy but his lectures were so informative and helpful. His lecture notes are very well organized and he stays consistent throughout the entire semester. I recommend Linder for Bio 24 or Bio 5. Don't forget to attend! Thats the most important part :)

Mr Linder is one of the BEST Bio teachers I have ever had....He's super clear, gives u great notes, and tells u exactly what u need to focus on in the text...I would recommend him for any of the classes he teaches! A++++++

this guy is a TEACHER!!! and a great one at that. he's not easy but not a jerk off like others ive taken. he tests on material that he covers unlike others. he offers help when you ask, cool guy. good sense of humor, fun and informative, but not a walk in the park. one of the better health and science teachers FCC has to offer.

Awesome teacher because he makes everything as easy as possible on the student. Actually understanding phys was possible because he's good at breaking it down & simplifying it + he uses analogies, which is very helpful! He also doesn't get boring because he likes to throw jokes & stories in. Passing should be no problem if you do the work & study

He's not easy, but Bio 22 isn't easy, now is it? If you want easy, go make sandwiches for a living at Subway. If you want to be taught by the best that FCC has to offer, than you take Linder, and he helps you to become a successful nurse.

Work hard in his class and you will be rewarded. Linder is the best out there hands down. Make sure you buy an audio recording device for his lectures; it will help you immensely when going over notes for the test.

Linder is a great teacher. The subject matter is not super easy so don't expect and A unless you put in effort. His tests are straight from the notes and homework. He makes this class interesting, he is always telling jokes!

Mr. Linder is the best teacher hands down. He knows what he's teaching & won't hesistate to help you out in anyway. Lectures can be long but he makes it interesting with his great sense of humor!His tests are very fair they're based off his notes & he gives you essay questions to look up & study that are on the test. Mr. Linder is one of the best teachers ever. He is interesting and cares about what he is teaching. He points you in the exact direction you need to study.I never cracked the book and studied the night before and managed an A. That said, there is a huge workload, so if you usually need to study to do well, expect to put in a lot of time.

I took him for physiology and Professor Linder is awesome!! by far the best science professor I've had to date. He's so helpful and is funny so he actually makes the class interesting and fun. The material is tough but he explains everything so as long as u spend time studying you'll be fine. I passed with an A:)

LOVED HIM! Has a great personality. Makes coming to class fun and interesting. He tells you exactly what is expected on the exams. There are no surprises on his exams. If he doesn't lecture about it, he'll give you free answers!

Like everyone else have said, "He is AWESOME!" There is no way you can fail his class. Attend class, take notes, record lecture, and most importantly study hard. Lecture notes and essay questions are given in advance before exam. So, no excuses about failing this class, if you just try you will pass. If you need help, don't be afraid to ask him.

You definitely want Mr. Linder for physiology if you actually want to learn, AND learn from an instructor who cares about the student. His quote in the first week of class, "I'm not doing my job if you're not doing well in this class!" He genuinely wants to help you do your best, and although it's a hard class, show up and do the work; you're good

If you at least try to study, you can do great. he gives essay questions ahead of time and that makes it easy for the test. lab test are vocabulary only, but easy. I would love to have more teachers like Mr Linder

He is easily one of the best lecturers professors I've ever had. Even though the class is easy, you learn A LOT. Lab tests are very easy. Lecture tests are MC & essay questions. The essay questions are given beforehand, and he picks about 12 of them. MC can be tricky. An A is this class is very doable.

Great professor! Taking an anatomyphysiology night class which is LONG, but he is very entertaining and his lectures are full of information and easy to understand. He has been flexible with our individual and class needs as far as scheduling and testing goes. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. He's great, would take another course from him.

Dr. Linder is the best professor that I've ever had at Fresno City and Fresno State combined! Physiology is a very difficult course however he makes a huge effort to help you understand the material. Makes jokes during lecture to make time go by faster. Ask questions, he's very approachable.

4 lecture exams, each worth 150pts. Each lecture includes 5 long essay responses from a pool of avg 15 essays you must know for ea exam (6th essay on each test is for 10 extra credit pts). Ea exam includes 100 true/false or multiple choice (100pts). 3 lab exams, (100pts ea), about 5pts extra credit ea. Lecture exams are tough but does give notes.

A very very awesome professor, of course his class isn't easy you'll have 4 exams including finals with essays; however he'll give a list of possible questions with answers in the notes. Record his lectures it'll definitely aid you along the way. His lab exams are straight from the packets and some questions are from physioex. Overall great guy!!!!

Love this instructor! Very relatable to students and makes things humorous. Willing to work with you on whatever you need. Barely used the textbook. Lots of paperwork assignments and studying is a must. Tough lect. exams although questions come straight off guides, and there is a lot of essay questions to study. Lab exams are a bit easier.

Great personality, very personable, good examples. Keep me awake! Tests are comprised of both MC and Essay. He is very clear on what is required and needed to pass his tests / class so you know exactly what to focus on. He covers everything tested on. I would take him again and highly recommend him.

I highly recommend taking Mr. Linder! He was one of my favorite professors. He made learning physiology so much fun. He is extremely nice and funny! There are four lecture exams and two lab exams, all with extra credit available. Take good notes and show up everyday to get an A! Also memorize those essay questions.

Great teacher! Very funny! Makes learning about physiology fun and exciting, prepare to read and work for your grade though. This class isn't easy, but physiology in general is not an easy subject. He truly cares but as so much as you do. Never miss lecture some questions on exam that wasn't covered in notes. Tests are really difficult too.

Outstanding teacher! Lectures are entertaining and he covers everything you need to know for the exams. If he doesn't cover it, you aren't tested on it. No textbook needed and lab packets are online. Exams are multiple choice and essay, the essays questions, which he gives you ahead of time. Study the essay questions and you'll do perfectly fine.

Loved this class. It was a hard class, but the best thing was that he covers everything that will be on the exams. The book was only for reference. Thank goodness. The most challenging part was keeping up with homework and studying essay questions for the exams. This was an awesome class and I totally recommend it.

Linder is by far one of the best professors I've had here at Fresno City. Physiology is not an easy course, but he makes it very entertaining and fun to learn. Consistent attendance and STUDYING will likely get you the grade you want. ETC also helps a lot, especially with the essay questions. I would definitely take Linder again if i needed to.

I took Linder for Bio 5, 20, and 22. All fill in notes are online to make lectures easy to follow (go to lecture and take good notes!) Lots of memorization, especially physio lecture exam essay questions, but he tells you exactly what he wants. These classes will be challenging but he cares & is always willing to help. My favorite prof at City!

Linder is one the best professors at FCC, highly reccomend!!! Lectures are easy to follow and very interesting, he has a great sense of humor which makes lectures very enjoyable. The class can be tough but you get out what you put in. Study test ahead of time, do all assignments, attend class regularly and the class will be fairly easy. Good Luck!

I LOVED THIS CLASS! Going into the class new it was going to be difficult but Mr. Linder made it manageable and very understandable of the material. He really cares about the students and sets you up to pass the class. Very approachable and he just gets it. I would in the future take another class with him

One of my favorite classes, we didnt get through everything but all tests are based on notes. Also essay question given before tests. Hes a great guy and teacher, knows the material and help me learn the material the way he taught! Definitely one of my favorites! Thanks linder great class!

He is a wonderful teacher, probably one of the best professors I have had. There are 3 lab exams and 4 lecture exams. The last lecture exam is NOT cumulative so it makes it easier to study. For each lecture exam you have to study a various handful of essays which he will be asking 6 out of 15 essay question he gives to study.

BY FAR MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR. His lectures are amazing and so engaging, you won't want to skip class. He has lecture notes ready for you already, you'll just have to print them out through Canvas. He's hilarious , genuine, and really wants the best for his students.

3 exams and one essay max 6 pages. Outstanding professor and really makes physiology as easy as he can for students. He understands what students go through and doesn't expect us to know everything or retain it all. If you do then great! Essay questions on exams varies but he gives you everything you need to know. Don't stress and highly recommend!

Professor Linder gives you everything you need to pass the class. Hes super understanding and connects with students easily. Lecture was never dull and hes a funny guy. Love the enthusiasm he has for his students and class. Dont think twice about registering with him. Do it !

Bio is alot to study but it is interesting. He has a good sense of humor and cares about his job. His lectures are easy to follow but if you really wanted to do well on the test, read the textbook since it goes more into depth. He's not a strict grader so if anything is wrong he'll work it out with you.

He was a great professor. Always made sure we understood what was going on. Since the virus though with everything online, all his leftures and stuff go on fb live and all of our assignments are on Mastering. Pretty easy, I reccomend it

Professor Linder is probably the best professor I've ever had. He teaches a complicated subject and takes his time to break it down in order for everyone to understand. Go to ETC, print out his notes outline, go to class, take good notes, study and you will pass.

I took his class about 3 years ago. Hes just a great teacher who cares about you doing well and will try very hard for you. He is the kind of easy going teacher you want to get by but not try super hard haha. I gave him a starbucks gift card because he was such an excellent teacher. Good speaker and you care about what you learn. Worth it.

As this is one of my final classes, I was scared that everything went online. Everyone knows the difficulty of physiology but try taking it online. Linder makes class doable, not too many crazy assignments, attendance is not mandatory and if you visit office hours he will tell you exactly what he expects. I would definitely take Linder again online

Awesome professor! He is accessible outside of class so don't hesitate shooting him a message for any questions. He is also very understanding of the circumstances we are having due to the pandemic. There is one research paper due at the end of the semester. He was kind enough to look at my draft and provide feedback before I submitted mine.

Professor Linder was amazing. He was very understanding and aloud make-up exams or late work if you had a good excuse! A lot of Labs but theyre not that hard. Hes very lenient on grading & wants his students to pass. Exams werent that hard and homework was easy!

Professor Linder is a gem not only as a professor, but as a human. He really cares about his students and their success. He accommodated certain needs that I had due to my mental health conditions so I would be more successful with lab and it really helped! He gives a lot of work, but it is all necessary to understand the material

My course is hybrid with lab in person; there's recorded content online, but he also takes time during lab to lecture about the given topic and he is great at doing so. I don't think I've ever learned better from a professor than I have from Linder's labs. He's also pretty reasonable as far as exams go. You won't regret choosing him as your prof.!

One of the HARDEST class ive ever taken. Lab exams are literally the vocabs from the lab reports so start early on creating flashcards for them. Wished the labs were worth a little more considering how much effort we put in it and wish there was some sort of extra credit too. If you need the A, dont BS this class. I was lucky enough to get an A

Professor Linder is an amazing biology professor, take him if you need to take human physiology! He is so funny and is understanding & really cares about his students. This is not an easy class but as long as you do the work you will be fine. He offers 3 extra credit assignments, each worth 10 points so in total you can get 30 extra points.

Amazing professor, although I got a low grade it was 100% on me I got lazy with homework and exams. He always replied fast to emails and offers extra credit after each lecture exam and they are also open note.

YOU MUST TAKE MR. LINDER! His class was absolutely AMAZING! Bio-5 was so smooth with him. Amazing, funny lectures, prepares us well for exams, simple homework assignments, and extra credit. He cares about his students so much! I cannot recommend enough.

Was a great professor, very helpful and lenient, he explained everything very clearly, had lecture notes prepared for us, allowed them during lectures exams and allowed makeup work. He also told a couple jokes all in all a great professor to take.
