Great teacher!! Taking his A&P II class/Lab next semester.
Pretty good professor. If you listen well and study hard, you will do good!
Excellent teacher! He kept my interest in class due to his teaching style. I'll be taking Mr. Everhart next semester. All quiz online. 5 exams. per Mr. E " study lecture notes and use the book as a reference. He takes extra time to make sure you understand the information. Very dedicated!
His class was great. If you study the textbook you can easily get an A in the class. He is a funny teacher and knows how to keep the class interesting.
Class is some what difficult, but if you study the notes and attend class, you'll do well. He's very passionate about this class and offers you so much help.
He is very clear in his lectures and the notes that he provides. As long as you attend class and study 6 hours outside of class you will definitely pass with at least a B if not an A.
Great teacher! Very helpful and clear.
Great teacher! Very helpful, and does all he can to help!
Very fair and helpful. You will have to pay attention and study the material if you want to receive an A.
He is a fair profssor. He will hp you as much as you will help yoursef. I loved him.
Teacher is not what he was last term! Very inconsistent, late, uses cell phone during class, lack of regard to student's time, doesn't post notes in a timely manner, etc. Very disappointing!
Professor Everhart is an awesome instructor. Read through the chapter once and then spend the bulk of your time studying the lecture notes and PP slides.
Enjoyed this class. He was really helpful, wanted students to be successful. He loves this subject and it shows.
Do yourself a favour, do NOT take this professor for any class. He does have a good personality, but is a horrible professor. Very disorganized, teaches summary of each chapter, but gives very detail exams. If you're not ready to each yourself, then do not take him.
Professor Everhart is a terrific teacher who demonstrates love for the subject. He is one of the nicest male teachers I've ever had and creates a peaceful atmosphere to learn. It's quite simple, complete all assignments, study hard for exams and quizzes and you will pass with a good grade and be a lot more knowledgeable of the subject.
summarized chapter notes you have to print. 5 exams and chapter quiz. I took him for A&P 1 and 2. Not consistent with grading or posting lecture notes. I usually wk. hard for an B or better keeping a 3.8 GPA. He refuse to respond to my email regarding my grade in the class. memory does no good, understanding the material and teaching yourself is.
DON'T GET ME WRONG, HE IS A GREAT PERSON BUT HIS TEACHING STYLE ISN'T FOR EVERYONE. 5 EXAMS AND CHAPTER QUIZ ONLINE. EXAMS CONSIST OF 2-3 CHAPTERS AT A TIME. NOTES AND GRADES ARE POSTED AT HIS OWN CONVENIENCE, TAKING A FULL WEEK. LOST OF STUDENTS DROP DURING THE TIME I TOOK A&P 1 AND 2. LAB PRACTICALS IS USUALLY A BUNCH OF LABELING MODELS AND QUIZ
Do not this professor. He is a nice guy, but consistently unprepared for class. Learned nothing from lectures, had to learn everything on own time. As a previous commenter said, his lectures only give a very brief summary of the chapter's and the exams are extremely detailed, a lot of the exam questions aren't even from his lectures or notes.
I took him for lecture and every recent comment on here is completely true--he was never once on time for class, gave very vague lectures in class and the exams were NOTHING like his exam reviews. He also replied to none of my emails so I'd have to talk to him in person 7 days later. Be prepared to teach yourself this class, otherwise don't bother.
Professor Everhart is a great guy, he is always available to help any student that needs help. The subject itself is the hard part, but he makes class enjoyable with his witty sense of humor. If you attend class, study the chapters, and complete the quizzes you will do well in his class. If you have any questions he is more than willing to help.
Took this class over the summer.Requires a lot of studying! No midterms or finals. This professor absolutely loves teaching and it shows. Some will find him charming and passionate about A&P (I did) and others will find him nerdy and silly.Great guy.Silly sense of humor.Very knowledgeable.Fair.Has high expectations and is challenging, but interesting.
Mr. Everhart is very passionate about Anatomy & Physiology along with an interest in psychology.I took his class over the summer, lecture and lab,and it requires LOTS of studying.A lot of the tests came from the powerpoints and notes he puts online. The textbook is used more as a reference. He is helpful if you need it.I would take his class again!
Professor Everhart is an excellent teacher! I absolutely loved his class, not only does he love the subject but he loves teaching which makes his class both fun and interesting. He puts a lot of extra work into his lecture and he makes himself available whenever he can. If you are going to take A an P then take Professor Everhart.
Lecture class consist of online power points and online homework and quizzes. So as far as teaching and lecture, everything is online. He doesn't teach in a way that would allow all learning types to grasp concepts. You have to basically teach yourself and take his lab to understand what's going on, otherwise you'll have an extremely hard time.
His online class was GREAT! you need the book to do your homework, quizzes, and tutorial on Mastering A&P. which is 20% of your grade. Everhart makes up his own Exams which are 80% of your grade!FYI he does not give study guides to his online students. he does do Notes online with you so you dont need the book. you must put in the time to PASS
Took his online lecture, waits until right before assignments are due to post the lectures and notes, 4 chapters per exam which are pretty close together and are really hard. Does use Mastering A&P which is why I did end up doing well. If you take him definitely make sure to read the book.
I think Professor Everhart is a great instructor. He gives a lot of little tips and rhymes to help remember the material. Professor Everhart is very passionate about anatomy and it shows, I believe that he really wants his students to succeed. I would absolutely recommend him as an instructor.
Had for A and P Lab only. Do homework and study for practicals and you will pass. Quizzes are easy and homework is extra credit. Teacher is fun and class is laid back.
Fantastic, animated and passionate professor. Not an easy A. You will need to work hard, but this professor is always there to help in any way that he can. Puts a lot of effort into supplementing student understanding. Young, funny and easy on the eyes too. I would highly recommend him to any student who is serious about pursuing a health career.
Lab with this instructor is awesome! Expectations are made incredibly clear. There is a lot of studying involved and memorization. You will need to work hard to do well. Mr.Everhart is interesting, funny and extremely willing to help his students. He goes above and beyond to ensure your success, but you will definitely need to pull your own weight.
Keeps course material fresh and interesting...as it should be! The human body is fascinating! You will need to work and to study, so this is not an easy A, but this professor is very approachable and cares about his students' success.
He is a really nice guy. Seems passionate about teaching A&P. Tells you what you need to know, what you don't need to know. Definitely possible to get a A if you try. Quizzes every week except week of practicals, are all done online and straight from the pre-lab exercises. 3 practicals and pre-lab assignments every week except practical weeks.
I took Professor Everhart for lecture and lab. He was very helpful and clear on what you needed to know. He is tech savy and likes to use mastering a&p. There are some hw assignments in lecture and quizzes and prelabs in lab. He is funny and keeps it interesting. I would definitely recommend him!
Passionate about A&P and teaching. Makes his lab class interesting, is humorous, willing to help you understand concepts, and above all, is fair. Thoroughly enjoyed his class! Provided you have the capacity to learn & retain, the effort you exert is most likely the determining factor for your grade.
very passionate about topic, will come in on weekends/stay late during the week to give exam reviews, multiple extra credit opp's., very clearly lays out info for the exams and can provide useful insight to those approaching the medical field. One of the best BIO/AP instructors at SPC....hands down! Do yourself a favor and take his class!
I thought I would struggle through Anatomy, but it tuns out I was far from struggling. I got A's or High B's on all the tests. The final is not cumulative. He holds extra credit review sessions prior to every test. Only had trouble remembering to do the online homework. If you like Anatomy and actually pay attention in class, it will be easy.
Dr. Everhart is awesome! Extremely helpful, funny and knowledgable. Really made the class fun. Love the moticam. Very fair with grading and if you put forth the effort an A is a sure thing.
A&P 2 is difficult class but very interesting, I love everything related with health. He is very helpful professor, however you need to focused in class and if you study all his notes and review for the test, you will be fine. 5 test total, weekly quiz and homework every week!
Mr Everhart is a great professor. I took him for both lecture (online) and lab. His work and exams are easy as long as you pay attention, do your work and study the material given. He has pretty much everything done for you .. just attend class and pay attention. Very helpful and understanding. I just wish I could have him for lec and lab in A&P 2.
Professor Everhart is a great guy. He is a movie buff. He brings up atleast 2 movies per class. There's 5 tests in Lecture, all from his PowerPoints and he posts them online. He teaches from his iPad, it's on the projector and he writes on it with it. Everything is online, quizzes, Homework, and you DO use Mastering A&P. Hard class, funny teacher.
Didn't teach. Have to teach yourself with the Pre-Labs due every week before lab, consists of definitions and labeling figures. There are 3 practicals. Study the lab book, this is your best friend to pass the class. Quizzes due every week online. Only 5 people were on time to class last week and he gave them extra credit but no one else. Traffic? smh
i highly recommend him!! awesome teacher. puts everything out there for you. posts lectures, power points, exam reviews and even the study review mp3 recording. gives extra credit opportunities. funny, caring guy! take him!
Class was great. Don't expect A&P to be easy, but a good teacher makes a difference. All homework on MasteringA&P, but there were video lectures and notes as well. I really really liked the way class was split up into 4 units so midterms and finals aren't cumulative over an insane amount of chapters. Overall, a good Professor :)
I took Everhart for A&P2. His exams are HARD so don't take this class looking for an easy A. His notes are all over the place but he's always available to help. And he offers extra credit on all exams.
He seems like a nice guy; but boring. He practically makes you buy an Iphone or tablet to do class. His lectures are more on him showing off his tablet skills. Online quiz'es and homework deadlines posted late: We had a quiz, we all waited, he posts it to take at 10pm, due at 10:30 am next am with no notice. . .what? We are working students.
He's a really nice and corny guy. I like him for lecture, but for lab I feel he doesn't really explain things thoroughly. As long you pay attention, take notes, and do the study modules in Mastering A&P you should get a good grade. He also gives extra credit if you attend his exam reviews before each test. I'd take him again!
Great class overall!!! Everhart will hold your attention, and really enjoys the material he teaches. One of the greats. If you are looking for a class that is fun AND challenging pick this one.
Professor Everhart's is a great teacher. Anatomy and Physiology is a hard class to begin with, but his clear cut lectures and notes made it easy to learn. He provides a study guide for each exam and also a review session in which he gives extra credit towards the test if you attend. He does not do "cumulative" exams which really helps!
He's a good instructor tries to help anyway he can.
Professor Everhart hands down has been one of the best that I have had, while the material is a lot to learn, he is very good at explaining and makes jokes so that they stick with you. He is very clear of what is to be expected and very straight forward with grading. He's the best!
Great teacher. Really knew the material and was very friendly. Very willing to help. He has his own sense of humor and mentions movies a lot. If you have an interest and pay attention, you really learn a lot! If I could, I would definitely take him again.
AMAZING Teacher!!! His teaching is clear and he explains everything very well. He does have challenging tests but if you study everything he puts on the exam study guide you will do great!!!
Professor Everhart is amazing!! You can so tell that he is really into this subject. He gives you a lot of little things to help you remember all the stuff you need to know. I think he's funny, definitely entertaining. But be sure to read the textbook and do his study guide or you won't do so hot on the exams. He's the best tho!!!!
-2085 online lecture. He is very informative and knows his stuff. However, his online class is MUCH harder than his lecture class. He does offer extra credit by attending exam reviews, but his online QUIZES are 90 questions long, and incredibly difficult critical thinking. He's a nice enough guy but only take online if you want a semester of hell.
Ask yourself if you want a professor that doesn't teach the material you need for the test. He gives you exam reviews but it's nothing like the test. The class is basically you teaching yourself and him showing of his iPad. He gives assignments the day it's due and not tell you until it's too late.
professor Everhart is very passionate about the subject. He has his own youtube channel, and gives homework that relate directly to the exams. Be prepared to study, exams are most of your grade.
long lectures,a lot of homework, 90 questions for final and midterm,he answer emails withing 24 hrs. the class in general s hard but he gives you all the tools you need to pass. good professor.
Lectures are a tad bit boring but useful, and study guides are very helpful. Answers emails promptly. Allows you to see what you missed on midterm and final. Gives grade at the end of the tests no waiting. Gives exact study guide for midterm and final although be careful. A lot of questions are on other topics.
He says you need to know of stuff for the test and when test day comes it's nothing of what he said you needed to know, in his notes it's just home showing off his tech skills. very monotone. Was taking a test and it was a diagram black and white he refused to tell me what color something was supposed to be :(
I have already taken BSC 2085 Human anatomy and physiology last semester. I did horrible and could not grasp the concept. So yes profess Everhart's class is not a piece of cake and you have to work for your grade but he explains things very well. He gives vast amount of resources to help you out, study guides, videos, charts, etc.
I am sure Prof. Everhart is normally a great professor as he seems passionate about the subject. But... this semester he was having medical issues, he gave us substitute teachers for more than 5 classes, and his study guides were completely irrelevant to the tests. I'm a straight A student and I had to work my tail off for a B in this class. :(
Lectures were amazing online. He has his own YouTube channel where he posts his lectures. He rarely responds to emails, if he responds at all. His tests are tough and the study guides he gives you do not go along with the test. You are better off just reading the chapters front to back over and over, rather than studying from the study guide.
Prof. Everhart is very nice but a little flaky. He tells you what you need to know for the practicals and there are several extra credit questions on each. Do the work and put some time into studying and you'll pass. Only complaint is that I sent him several emails during the semester and he didn't respond to a single one.
The toughest subject was presented by professor Everhart in a very understandable way. Not only his interest in anatomy is inspiring, he really teaches the concepts, explains everything and answers all kinds of questions. He is hilarious too at times, and very easy to talk to. I loved the class and highly recommend Colin Everhart. Respect and love.
He works with power points. He gives you a study guide, but there is often material on the test that was not on the study guide, so make sure you review all the notes and power point slides. He is a nice guy, but his teaching style was not suited for me.
He's a nice professor; however, study guide does not go along with exams. He doesn't reply to emails fast enough. His exams are long and if you don't study the textbook you probably won't pass the class. His PowerPoint doesn't do enough justice. FYI sometimes there's sub's and he isn't in class.
you need to study the textbook not only his power point slides. tests are really easy based on book material! Good teacher overall.
horrible teacher study guide nothing like his tests doesn't even tell you what you're going to be tested on so dumb....
I wish I never signed up for him and went with someone else. His "study guides" are nothing like what's on his exams. He reads straight from the power points which come directly from the book. You have to self teach yourself in this class. Do yourself a favor by not taking him and travel the distance to St. Pete for a highly rated professor!
There was no study guide for the first practical; he had to be asked to make them for future tests. They weren't even helpful because he was vague about what we truly needed to know. Understandably, there is a lot of content due to the nature of the topic but he isn't helpful in teaching/organizing it so know that there is a lot of self teaching.
Professor Everhart is a great teacher. He is always there if you have a question; either in class or after. He does give you a study guide; but you will be better off reading the material over and over till you get it. Make very good use of the Pearson material and you will pass the tests and the class. He gives pretest review of material.
He is amazing , friendly, and very helpful that i have ever seen. He is very responsible and professional. He answer your question or email right away. He give very good detail Exam review in each exam. I would recommendation everybody to take him.
He was late to many classes, not helpful, and tests were nothing like study guides. If you can teach yourself everything in this class, than take him. Mastering A&P assignments were hard and he was very disorganized with when they were do. This is an extremely hard class, and he does not make it any easier. If you need an A or B, good luck.
if you are looking for an easy skate by class, this is not it. If you are willing to do the work and take the time to study, you will do just fine. He is willing to meet with you and help you if you ask for it. He will not spoon feed you a grade. He knows the subject and enjoys teaching it. I am going to take him for A&P II
He knows the material, here's the thing. A&P is a tough course, it is up to the student to take the initiative to apply information received from lecture. I took this class in the Summer, it can be done. Don't be a whiney (you-know-what), and study. Your grade will not be handed to you like some adjunct professors.
Like you, I was hesitant to take Prof. Everhart. However, after meeting with him and going through Summer A&P lecture I realize he offers every chance to succeed to students who put forth the effort. A&P is not easy, especially in the summer (expedited to 10 week course with 50% attrition rate). If you work hard, you can pass with an 'A'.
I took AP1 online in the summer semester. I read the entire chapters word for word, had chapter quizzes + 4 unit tests. He offers a little bit of extra credit, that definitely helps if you are borderline on your next letter grade. The only thing I didn't like was it took awhile for him to load grades from mastering AP so I kept track of my grades
Professor Everhart is extremely knowledgeable, but it doesn't make the class any easier. Study modules online are required, but they don't help at all. PowerPoints are long, but the notes that he scribbles on them won't make sense unless you attend lectures. Study the exam reviews hard and you'll pass.
Currently in A&PII Lecture. He offers pre-class lectures that he weighs for extra credit. Gives 3 Exams with an optional Final (based on your grade). If you STUDY you will get an A. Sit in the front row, and don't be a doofus.
I liked Professor Everhart. He cares about his students personally, learning everyone's names and interacting with us during lectures. He offers tutoring and extra help. He gives a study session the class before an exam, and you get extra credit for attending! Sure, Anatomy is hard. But it will be that way regardless. Everhart is a good choice.
Anatomy and physiology is hard, everyone knows that. Everhart is an okay professor, sometimes he gets off topic with his lectures, but hes very knowledgeable about the subject. He's really funny and is a cool guy, but sometimes hard to understand as he's not very clear in saying what he means to say. This class is hard, no lie; but you can do it!
Dr. Everhart was very fair and easy to commicate with. I took this class to fulfill a science requirement at Jacksonville University. Noreally what kind of science that I wanted to study, but I made it work. This class gave me more respect for people going into the medical fields!
Highly recommend professor Everhart. He's a great teacher & he's very fair. He makes class fun & as long as you listen, study and DO the homework you'll do fine!! My favorite professor yet!!
This professor is funny and he does a great job with teaching the material. Just show up in class and do your homework and you'll be fine!!!
Solid teacher! Provided Youtube lectures and accompanying notes. Assignments are through Pearson's Mastering A&P Assignment module. Expect 2-3 homework assignments, 1 quiz and 1 test per week. 4 exams total - 2 are proctored, no notes, multiple choice, 75 questions. A lot of work, but he's ORGANIZED and fair. Offers some extra credit. Recommended!
The deadlines/due dates are not set to any particular day so make sure you pay close attention to the deadlines! Also, make sure you give yourself enough time to study.
Excellent online class! Professor Everhart put a lot of effort into designing the course and extra materials to help students succeed. You definitely have to stay on top of work and not procrastinate, but an A is achievable. Professor Everhart was very quick to respond to any questions and very encouraging and helpful! Would definitely take again!
very very nice person. he does a great job offering and helping with anything you ask. Extra help is available and super flexible guy if you need help. He will give you a lot to remember, but he is a good pick if you want a class that will make you better.
Mr. Everhart is a great teacher. Explains everything and gives extra credit . If you study really well, you would make an easy A. i would recommend this teacher to everyone but unfortunately for me, i came late to register for A&P II.
Professor Everhart is a Very great professor! The course content its self is complex yet he makes it so easy to understand. Extra credit is given so pay attention to your schedule and syllabus. Great professor and gives you every single chance to pass!
He clearly loves what he does, and has memory tricks to help you remember. He gives the test straight from the quizzes.
I took A&P1lab twice, one in class and then online with Prof. Everhart, and I definitely understood concepts and the material in the online class better. Professor made the class very interesting and challenged us since tests were short response, but worth it because now I know my stuff! Would recommend his class to anyone and will take him again!
Very approachable and always willing to help
Lets be real. This is not an easy class. But is very important to take it with the right professor. Professor Everhart is very good. Hes super clear with his grade criteria. He knows is not easy so he goes above and beyond to give us extra credit to pass with a great grade. His lectures are amazing. Hes organized. Do the work. And get an A
A& PLab is not the easiest but with Professor Everhart is not bad. As long as you study your quizzes and practice you take the online test and youre good study his quizzes for midterm exam. He gives you a study guide too. Hes awesome. Super approachable. Very helpful. I am very happy I took his lab too.
Professor Everhart has truly been the best choice in professors (directly related to my nursing major). HANDS DOWN TAKE HIM! In person or online he really shows through his lectures, videos and even his reviews that he is more than capable of teaching the course so the students can understand the material. A&Pl/ll is a difficult, but not with him.
I loved having this professor for my online Human Anatomy. He held optional online reviews before exams. His exam questions came straight from the quizzes. The midterm and final are proctored, but he allows one 3x5 note card, which if you fill with info from the quizzes, gives you an easy A on exams. The book is affordable and necessary.
I took A&P 1 and the online lab. I was not overly impressed. I struggled through the course and felt that I paid the college to teach myself most of the material. I didn't feel that there was a wide diversity of learning materials available online. Although he offered study groups, they were all unaccessible for me.
Took AP 1 with professor Everhart and this class is difficult, but Everhart was pleasant to have. He went over material that will show on the exams so study the study guides as much as you can! And he does give extra credit opportunities which is very helpful. And he is more than willing to help with questions or going over anything!
Professor Everhart is a real gem! He explains his lectures in ways that help everyone understand the content thoroughly. he provides a lot of extra credit opportunities and his study guide is pretty straight to the point when it comes to his tests. he is very understanding if youre feeling under any pressure and does his best to help. great class!
This is the kind of professor I like to study with. The assignments were clear, he was available by email, and the presentations were given in different formats (multimedia, ppt, etc.) The quizzes were fair, and the exams were not a suprise, he told us what would be on them.
I am so thankful I took this course. Anatomy is notoriously difficult, but the way Professor Everhart organized this class was so helpful. I wish all of my classes were this logically structured! Do the work and follow his instructions, and you will do fine.
Professor Everhart's class is amazing, especially if you are taking Anatomy & Physiology for the first time. I retook this class to boost my GPA and I had taken A&P 2 with him already. H
Professor Everhart's class is amazing, especially if you are taking Anatomy & Physiology for the first time. I retook this class to boost my GPA and I had taken A&P 2 with him already. Anatomy is a tough course but he is clear with the material on the exams and provides study guides. If you put in the work, you will get a good grade in this course.
Great professor. Lecture videos are very informative. Loved the webinars for exam review and that the video is posted and available for review after the webinar ends.
Great professor. Lecture videos are very informative. Loved the live webinars for exam review. The webinar video is posted and available for review after the webinar ends which is great because I work full time and cannot participate in the live question and answers portion of the webinar.
Let's face it, this is Anatomy and Physiology. DO NOT TAKE THIS ONLINE DURING THE SUMMER. You are expected to memorize A LOT in a short amount of time. You will have assignments due every 4 days and tests on each one. Seems like a nice guy. He will do some video lectures which are nice.
I took AP 1 online for the summer with 5 classes total and 2 small children. This is the professor that you want for AP! He has amazing lecture videos and extra credit opportunities. To pass this class, do all the work and watch all the lecture videos. All the material he gives is relevant to your exams. He knows his stuff!!! very knowledgeable!
I took this online. It is a lot and I mean a lot of work. But as far as online goes he is the one to take. Very helpful. Study lectures, book and Pearson. He is very thorough. You get a decent amount of extra credit. I would take him again and recommend for online. The work is what prepares you for weekly quizzes and the four exams. 2 proctored.
Overall great online professor. He is straight forward and remains you about upcoming quizzes and test. He provides extra credit. Great teacher he wants you to succeed he does several webinars before the test. However you do need to study A&P 1 tough subject. Overall I enjoy the online class.
Prof. Everhart excels in communicating and was very accommodating when my grandfather passed at the end of the semester - he was able to extend my due dates to make up for missed assignments. Although anatomy is hard - by his genuine nature and quick responses it made the literature less daunting. I would 100% take another course with him.
Working with Professor Everhart was an absolute pleasure. While the class and material are very difficult the Professor is always willing to assist. This is my third attempt over the years of taking this class and I'm glad to finally succeed. I appreciate the Professor taking the time to explain specific questions and offering of extra credit:)
Great professor, great lectures, curriculum was designed very well, easy to follow, great guy with heaps of positive vibes. Very personable .
I took Prof Everhart online for A&P lecture and lab. He offers great & fun extra credit opportunities. The tests were hard, which I expected, but he did online reviews almost weekly for us and it helped tremendously. Pay attention to the power points and Study Guides, they tell you exactly what to study. Sad I didn't get into AP2 with Prof Everhart
If you are planning to take an online class for A&P1 or 2 this is the professor you want. I had such a great experience taken this class from the amazing lectures, good feed back, & a inspirational professor in addition the weekly webinars & videos which are extremely helpful. This professor truly cares about his students & support us
Professor Everhart was an amazing A&P teacher. he knows his stuff and his very clear on the subject. there is alot of homework but its also more for review and his test are hard, not a good test taker so i struggle there but he does offer extra credit and hes available at any time to help you. follow his study guide.
Prof. Everhart was a great professor! In his A&P lab pay close attention to the practice exams because 90% of the questions are directly copied and pasted from them. 2 proctored exams and 2 online. Make use of all the extra credit you can get! Lots of home work but it can be easily done!
Great professor, knows his stuff & is accessible. The class is not easy - tests were cumulative & there were 6-8 homework assignments per week. I would've given him 5 stars, but he elected to use Honorlock for all 6 tests. It was invasive, makes you video your room and shines a light in your face while you're taking the test which is nerve-wracking
I took Prof. Everhart for A&P 1 and 2 and he is amazing. He clearly loves the subject and is very helpful. His class is a lot of work and information, but extremely educational. I suggest taking his Anatomy Courses to everyone I talk to.
There was a ton of homework, most of which I didnt find helpful. He also took forever to respond to emails and sometimes wouldnt respond at all. I do think he is a good teacher and he did offer a lot of extra credit. I did get an A but I worked incredibly hard to get it and did my own studying. Overall a good teacher but wouldnt take again.
This class can be challenging; you need to make sure you have time to study; the tests and exam are proctored. There was a lot of homework and information to take in, but the professor himself was decent. Nothing special. Make sure you STUDY and have time to take this course; it was difficult taking this AND lab while working full time.
Professor Everhart was one of the best teachers Ive had in the two years of going to SPC. He cares and takes time to meet with you to go over any questions. He gives extra credit. If you study from his study guides and do the work its easy. He also took time to help me create a better study habit. Would totally take his class again.
He's a good teacher responds to your emails fast. Only downside about the class is that honorlock is used during exams. So study study study. You are able to have a note card while taking the exams as well.
Lots of info in A&P 2 but he makes it easy. I had him online, all his lectures are in line with the notes, they are available on youtube. His Exams are straight from the notes and study guides. I wish he taught Micro. He gives you opportunities for a bit of extra credit and drops the lowest grades for assignments and quizzes.
Study the quizzes and you will do great on the test because that is what the test consist of. I took this as an online course. He did allow one index card for the test. No midterm or final so you must do well on the test. There is homework with due dates also.
4 proctored exams worth 60% of your grade that are very difficult. Professor has no forgiveness or extra credit. If you need easy credits, not the class to take. Prepare to study.
Professor Everhart is a really nice guy. He's very thorough when explaining his lectures and always prerecords lesson so that you can go back and access it to study. He also gives poll quizzes to have you practice before an exam. I'm looking forward in taking BSC2086 next semester.
Professor Everhart is a really caring teacher, very accessible with fast responding emails. I had a rough start due to some personal reasons but Professor Everhart made sure I stayed on track and I turned my grade around providing me great study tips and advice. There is opportunity for extra credit and I genuinely would recommended. 10/10
I have picked this professor twice and will recommend him to anyone. He really cares about your grades. I had trouble with 2-3 assignments with my work schedule and he extended the date for me and still got full credit. If you read the study guides, you WILL pass the proctored exams. Amazing teacher who actually cares!!
He is a great professor, always an email away ready to help. Super clear expectations for the semester.
Professor Everhart is very clear on his instructions and expectations; as long as you follow them and be mindful of the due dates, you'll be successful in his class. Also, make sure you're going over the PowerPoints that he puts together, and be ready to study. There are 4 proctored exams, but if you study the material, they aren't that hard.
The Professor is very clear about the expectations in the class! You have several chapter quizzes and proctored exams that will cover the information on the quizzes! You are allowed to use one index card (front and back) during the exam!!
This is a one of the best professors I had in my life.
Professor Everhart provides different approaches of teaching like resource videos, PowerPoint presentation, discussion, jeopardy games, textbook reviews in MAP which are essential in online class. There are extra credits and one-on-one review option before final exam. He is a great professor!
Finding a teacher who offers clear instructions, understandable notes, and live online classes is invaluable. With their support and your effort, achieving an A is easily attainable. Professor Everhart's dedication to his students' success is evident, and his passion for teaching shines through. Take his live online class!!
Mr. Everhart provided clear lectures for each subject that were available 24/7 on Youtube. He provided us with opportunities for extra credit and tutoring. He was always willing to meet with us individually when we had specific questions regarding the material or prior exams. I would 10/10 recommend this professor for both BSC2085 and BSC2085L.
Prof. Everhart is great, his lectures are clear and well done, so well done that I know many students that have other professors find Prof. Everhart's lectures on youtube and watch him instead. His expectations are clear, and his study guides for the exams are great.
Prof. Everhart is great. He runs class in a very organized fashion, so you know his expectations from the get-go. If you're online, all his lectures are available on his YouTube channel. The assignments and due dates are clear. Just follow his instructions, and you'll do well.
I took Anatomy 1 at another school and got an F, got an A this time. I'd take Ant. 2 with him, but he isn't teaching it next semester. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Homework and quizzes, but they are easy and pad your grade. He has good test study guides and allows one 3x5 notecard.. If you put in a little work you will pass.
Professor Everhart was wonderful during my time in his class. Everything was laid out clearly, so that it would be easy for the students to learn. I would definitely take the class again.
The class wasn't hard but the whole semester you get assigned 7 fairly long assignments a week, each take an hour or more. There was 5 exams and during exam week the assignments are due Thursday. Exams are lock down browser only and are only open Friday-Sunday. Teacher also never applied to any of my emails all semester. DO NOT RECOMMEND !
I had Professor Everhart for online lab, 2086L, and have nothing but positive things to say. What is expected of you is made very clear from the beginning. All of the material for the exams is clearly laid out and as long as you read the textbook and pay attention to the online labs you will do great in this class.
Genuinely an amazing teacher. I took BSC1083 the class content was a mix of PowerPoints and textbook. The PowerPoints went into detail on major chapters concepts. It helped when reviewing/taking notes on the PowerPoint then reading the textbook. Reading the textbook is necessary to complete homework assignments.
Professor Everhart is amazing at teaching, and he will set you up for success as much as he can! He will also make sure everyone knows that you can reach him at anytime and is very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching and being there for you! If you can take his class if it is not too full because everyone loves him, definitely take it!
Best online learning experience! Professor Everhart is a great professor. He has everything for you to prepare and be ready for quizzes and exams. Take this class it is 100% better than the face to face lab class. So happy to have been in this class!
I had Professor Everhart for the live online class. He provided the lecture slides on PowerPoint so I would print them out before class to take notes on. He also provided study guides which were super useful. He shows that he loves what he does which made attending class enjoyable. He would also stay after class ended if anyone had questions.
Professor Everhart made anatomy fun and easy to understand. There are four exams, all proctored, but if you pay attention to the study guide and the quizzes—and of course, you need to put some study into them—believe me, you are going to end up with an A. I would highly recommend him.
This course by far one of my favorites because of how he layed it out. I prefered the 5 "mini" exams over taking a midterm and a final exam. This is so I keep my memory fresh on the material I just learned. Also, allowing to use one small index card on the exams helped a lot!
I took this professor previously for the lecture portion of anatomy 1 and this semester for the lab portion of anatomy 2. I'd recommend 100% taking this class with Professor Everhart. He is clear, fair, and really wants you to succeed.
I had a really hard time in this class. But my professor didn't give up on me. I ended up finishing the class with a B. Only simply because he was willing to help me study and gave me all resources needed to do better.
Get ready to read , he gets a lot of his questions from the book. The first exam that I took from him a lot of the questions were not focused on anything major. It is the small minute things that are the most important because those are the questions that he picks . just above at all cost !!!!
Professor Everhart was very enthusiastic about this subject, making lectures/videos very enjoyable to view and learn from. I loved the interactive book, lots of pictures to explain contexts as well as other interactive learning tools suitable for all study/learning styles.
This is the BEST online professor at St Pete. I have taken other online courses here and they are almost always disorganized, the professor is unresponsive, etc. The course is organized, instructions are clear, you won't realize how rare this is until you take other classes at this school. You can easily pass with a little effort!
Best professor ever, I took him 2x now and have never been disappointed. I like his layouts. Would recommend him.
He genuinely cares about the success of his students. He is very animated about A&P and will always conclude his lectures by reminding us that hes available during his office hours for 1:1 discussion. His study guides help tremendously; follow them and you will surely do well in his class. Hoping to take him for A&P2. Hes truly a hidden gem at SPC
This professor has a lot of work. Stay on top of your workload. STUDY THE CHAPTER QUIZZES SPECIFICALLY. That will help with tests. Not that accessible, kinda cryptic. No final or midterm. Instead, five proctored unit tests spread across the semester. You are allowed 1 index card front and back, which is nice.
This course is n
The class itself is difficult. Professor Everhart has many resources he points the students to to assist with learning and comprehension. Be prepared to be indulged in lots of work. Make use of all resources available.
A&P Courses are never easy. I took the live online class. Professor Everhart made this class a delight! He makes study guides for all the exams. Pay attention to what he writes on the slides as most will be on the exam. He offers extra credit and truly wants his students to pass. He does include a midterm and final exam. Overall 10/10 professor!
Professor Everhart is great—very clear and informative. I excelled in his class because he made something hard to understand easy. Because of him, I have the confidence to continue pursuing my ASN degree. He assigns a lot of multiple-choice homework, which is exactly what comes up on the practical exams, so there are no surprises.
Professor Everhart was welcoming, made me feel he was approachable and I could tell he genuinely cared about his profession. He laid the class out very clearly, we got to see all the points available, due dates and he gave us very helpful study guides. The homework was relevant, thorough and useful. I felt he cared about us and wanted us to succeed
I really enjoyed this class. I took this for my general science education requirement at SPC and Human Anatomy sounded like fun! There is a bunch of extra credit that can help your grade. Everything is in Canvas and is well organized. There are great lectures that correspond to the lecture slides. I definitely recommend Professor Everhart!
Professor Everhart is nothing short of amazing! He sets each of his students up for success. He has his own YouTube channel with lecture videos. I took him for A&P1 and 2. A&P1 was a live online course while A&P2 was fully online. Both courses were easy to follow and pass as long as you put forth the effort. He offer extra credit opportunities.
Professor Everhart is the best! His online lecture videos are very helpful and easy to understand. Highly recommend
Professor Everhart communicates well with the students. He responds to emails in a timely manner. Listen to the lectures along with the power point presentations as he will provides additional information needed for testing. I would absolutely take other classes with him and recommend others take his classes. Follow instructions and earn an A.
If you are taking Anatomy I would 110% recommend taking Prof. Everhart, he cares about his students passing and loves to hear input from the class. I was soooooo scared for Anatomy as it was my first true health science class but Prof. Everhart made it so easy to understand the material without any prior knowledge of the subject.
Beware! All exams are not multiple choice. You really have to know the material like the back of your hand to pass. You have to write out your answers on exams. Make sure your spelling is on point.I miss multiple choice exams, because as you know Anatomy is a very hard and harsh topic to study.
Love him!! Took him for AP1 lecture, now taking him for AP2. Lots of HW, but it helps you learn. His youtube channel and pp slides are so helpful. He truly cares for his students success; very easily accessible, answers emails promptly. Ample extra credit opportunities as well. Knows his stuff; def a biology guru. Jokes are kinda corny, but w/e.
Love this professor! He is so helpful and makes the lectures interesting! I took him for lab and lecture for A&P I and am taking him next semester for A&P II. The videos he makes have significant improved my grade overall. I did not do so well the first exam as I did not watch them but since I started watching the videos., my grades have improved.
This was a great class. Hes a great professor and wants you to do well. I took it online but he makes it very clear what is expected and he provides so much preparation for the exams. Very easy if you actually look over the textbook, do the labs, and study the practice exams.
I have taken two classes with him, and in both he has shown that he is a very fair instructor. He is always available to answer questions and takes the time to explain the material in a clear and patient way. I appreciate how attentive he is to his students and how he creates an environment where we feel comfortable asking for help.
My favorite professor I've had so far, and especially the best professor for a biology course. He was very funny and relatable throughout each lecture.
Provides many resources, no new suprises on proctored exams , very quick to respond, i love his energy and attitude, overall i really loved his class
Amazing professor! His lectures, notes, and videos are super helpful. I didn't do well at first, but once I actually used the resources he provides, everything started to make sense and I improved. You can tell he genuinely wants his students to learn and succeed. Highly recommend!
I took anatomy 1 and 2 with Professor Everhart and he was awesome!. The assignments he gives his students correlate directly with what is on the exam which he also provides a study guide for. He is super friendly, emails back very fast and made learning fun especially with his mnemonics and interesting lectures. I highly recommend this professor!
Professor Everhart is amazing, I enjoyed every single class. His review videos before exams are the best.
Professor Everhart was amazing! His care for his students was clear. He is readily available to respond to emails/messages, and even had a weekly Q/A session (outside his office hours) in lieu of lecture. The depth that Everhart goes into will leave you prepared and competitive for whatever health career you pursue after his class.
i enjoyed the class and the difficulty of the course. Would love to have the same professor again
Professor Everhart provides plenty of resources to prepare you for the quizzes and exams. The lecture videos and PowerPoints that are provided in the course are great. He is readily available to offer additional support and truly wants each student to succeed. I would highly recommend Professor Everheart for anyone looking to take Anatomy.
Professor Everhart was outstanding in Anatomy 1&2 Lecture. He consistently followed up with assignments and test grades, made time for students, and explained concepts clearly. He held helpful Zoom sessions, responded quickly to emails, and offers extra credit. He truly cares about student success and creates a great class. Highly recommend him!
Professor Everhart was very easy-going and well received. I really enjoyed his prep for EXAMS and his communication. He replies very promptly to emails as well (
