She is really hard, but if you do the hw your fine. Have to study tho. She is really funny in class-- seriously, you wont want to go to the bathroom. BUT, those tests will kill u.

Wow, This class is extremely hard but the best class I have ever taken. She goes out of her way so you understand the material and she makes the class FUN! This Professor is very hard. She makes you read every chapter and take your own notes. She will tell you that it is not her job to give you notes. She will give a quiz to make sure you did the reading. very nice professor but I will not take a class with her again. I also would not recommend her to anyone.

Prof Caldecutt is the best teacher I have ever had. I had her in A&P in high school and took her again in medicak terminology. Although her class is hard because she wants you to learn, she makes everything understandable. She really cares about her students and has a great passion for teaching. It's a hard class. I wish other classes were like this one, though. It really challenged me to think. We had to do a critical review of some articles and of a video, and it really made me look for every possible consequence of peoples' actions. Also, I learned about evolution for the first time, and I totally believe in it now.

Caldecutt is with out a doubt the best teacher I have ever had! The class is difficult, but it is possible to pass. She wants her students to succeed so she will give you every tool necessary to do so. If you don't like to talk in class don't take her... she likes to get the class involved. It's never boring I can tell you that! I just love her!

I agree with the rest of the reviews, very tough class but the more you show you are interested in learning, the more she will make sure you learn. ALWAYS there for you if you need her. Makes it fun unless the class as a whole doesn't do what they are supposed to be doing. You WILL learn if YOU put in the time and interest. No free passes here.

I'm a 4.0 student, I have a solid B in this class. Expect to wk 12-15 hrs outside class for this prof. You want to learn? Caldecutt is your prof! This isn't bird class. You'll work you a*s off! FASTRAC M.T. is not for wimps! You will be required to memorize 250+ suffixes, diseases, hormones...per week, in addition to 1-2 full page 1-spaced essays relating terms together. If you want an easy A, this class is NOT for you, but if you really want to LEARN the material, can handle a fast pace, and like to EARN your A's this is your course!

I loved Professor Caldecutt. She was very clear about her expectations. She responded in a timely manner. I nearly dropped the course halfway through the semester because I was having personal problems, but had a A at the time and she personally emailed me and encouraged me to stay in the class and even gave me an extension on a test date. Prof C AP1 class is by no means easy! Get ready to read and study you're life away! I passed with a B+ but AP was my LIFE! Professor Caldecutt is very smart and knows the material very well. She could be a bit intimidating, but really tries to explain things by telling stories and making you get up and "act it out." The class is not easy, but Professor Caldecutt wont move on until she knows everyone gets it. Very intelligent woman.

Prof C seems stern in the beginning but she does this only to get rid of the people who are not serious about this class. The homework can be tedious but it saved my grade so much. Best anatomy professor at Polk. Will work with you and have faith in you until the end of the course. Tough grader, lecture tests are very tough and detailed but if you read the study guides, you'll be fine. Go to directed study, it helps with the lab exams. Expect homework every day. Professor Caldecutt has been one of the best professors I've ever had I dropped the class because I was not passing & didn't have time to make it up and she let me stay for the remaining of the semester to still learn the info, she is a super hard professor but you'll learn a lot just take her alone or with some easy classes, test are really hard

The first couple of assignments are extra credit to understand what she is expecting. She responded to questions fast and she makes it very clear what she expects. She gives a lot of feedback and if you do the work she grades easily. The tests are in person and there are essays to write on the test. Would take her class again.

The good thing is that all that work is very helpful when it comes to learning the material so if you do that and review a bit before the test, you are guaranteed an A. The class is very tough regardless, therefore studying is a MUST. All assignments are easy if you follow to rubric and read the textbook. Tests are difficult (100MC, 2 essays) but are not impossible. She gives IN DEPTH feedback and will suggest ways to improve your work. Also she cares about her students and will be lenient in certain circumstances

Honors: I barely had any free time, but I learned so much from Prof C. I enjoyed her class in person 10x more, so having it online was a little difficult. You will spend most of your time writing papers connecting terms. It is a terminology course, but you are also expected to know conditions, symptoms, and treatments. EC given for outstanding work

Amazing professor, but you really have to put in 100% effort. Professor Caldecutt only cares as much as you do. Taking extremely detailed notes, never missing class, and putting A LOT of time to directed study is the key. Caldecutt is willing to teach you as long as you are willing to learn, you need grit for this professor and this course.

I have taken Prof Caldecutt for HSC1531 & BSC2085C, & she is a fantastic professor. She helps students & replies to emails quick. A lot of work, BUT everything she gives prepares you to excel on all her tests. Her tests come straight from the textbook & her lectures, no surprises. She gives extra credit on almost every single assignment & test.

I thought this class would be too much work and over excessive for a medical term. Professor C has high workload but there is a reason, the medical terms can be confusing and hard to remember but the assignments help a lot. She was easy to reach and highly helpful. Extra credit is offered to those who really try. I would take her again if I could.

She is the most caring, yet no BS professor I've ever encountered. She will not accept partial or late work, nor excuses. You get the grade you earn.

I have no idea what some people are yapping about. So far Prof. C is the best professor I've had. The class itself is a tough class, but she makes it much easier than most people realize. It's a lot of work, but worth it. I would take this class again just to have her as my professor one more time. Follow her instructions and you'll be fine.

Fantastic Professor! Her classes aren't easy but they're incredibly rewarding. The homework is difficult but does everything to make you understand and memorize the subject. By far one of my favorite teachers. Even in an accelerated setting I still walked away with a wealth of knowledge in the medical field.
