Good teacher and easy course. Warning the tests she gives have essay questions. But overall it wasn't a hard course.

interesting class, and pretty easy. i attended majority of classes and never studied. i ended up with a b. she's very knowledgable but has a VERY anoying voice and laugh to the point you cringe by the end of the semester as she walks in the room.

I had a class where her and some guy both taught it, and all I did was look forward to when she would lecture when it was his turn. She has such a good heart, she's very fair, and she makes her lectures interesting. I'd recommend her for any class!

This is going to be one of the most enjoyable and informative classes you'll take. The instructor was inspiring and knew what she was talking about. She taught without notes, but still went in the right direction. You have to study-she uses a 4th year book-it's not easy. But if you want to know more about the meatiest part of Psych this is it.

This was the most interesting class of the semester. She makes psychology a lot of fun, and helps you understand so you do well in the class. She even keeps your interest during lecture. I definately recommend her!

This class was a breeze for me, easy A. very little homework. only 4 tests tho, so don't bomb any... no comprehensive final either :) She's a fun lady, made the class pretty interesting.

I didn't study for any of her 4 tests and got over a 100 in the class. Her grades were just extra credit and tests and the extra credit is a ton of points for very easy questions.

I had a lot of fun with her in this class. I would Definately recommend her!!

This is a really fun class! She is an awesome teacher. She spend plenty of time on all the material and tells some really funny stories. We don't use the book usually either. There is a lot of room for extra credit, and it's not hard to get.

I thought she made it pretty easy....she's clear about what she expects and it's not that hard. She gives really good lectures and makes sure you know what you need to know.

I really, really appreciated this teacher. She's very clear a bout what she expects and what she wants you to remember. She only had four tests the whole semester and gave more than a few extra credit opportunities. She's a really nice lady. Also, she took attendance but it didn't affect the grade.

I thought she did a great job teaching the psychology 112 class...she makes sure you know what you need to know. The entire grade was based on four exams and extra credit. Attendance was encouraged but not enforced. She made it pretty easy if you just know what you need to know.

Instructor Ensley is a WONDERFUL teacher. She gives excellent examples & her tests are over possible essay questions that she hands out and a mix of multiple choice & short answer- not too difficult.

Colleen was a pretty good teacher, I liked her teaching style. She did give out 10 essay questions before the 4 exams. The only thing that upset me, my dad passed away during the semester, (I did call her to let her know) and she wouldn't let me make up the work I missed.

Excellent teacher who explains the important details. Turn off your cell phone before entering her class though. She doesnt like texting during her class. Her class is worth being unsocial for 50 mins!

A bit of a flake but overall good teacher. Exams are all short answer/essay and I never got done in 50 minutes, however, she gives you a list of pos. essay questions at the start of each unit. She can get a bit insane about (locked in on)one topic - like texting in class but overall I liked her. I thought the class was very easy.

Ms. Ensley was a godd teacher and her class was not difficult as long as you went to class and took good notes. Her exams were tough as they were all essay, but again, if you took good notes (and got the notes from a peer if you were gone) the exams weren't bad. Just long because of all the writing. And don't text. She will make your life hell.

ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY I loved her! One of the best teachers I have had! Take notes she wont just give them to you. When she says this will be on the test it will be! Her stories are great and she knows what she is talking about. One of ICC best teachers!

This class was easy for students who paid attention, took notes, and stayed engaged in the lectures. She's always willing to explain something again or in a different way and wants to help students be successful. Her lectures were well structured and easy to follow. One of my favorite professors.

Gives lots of real-life scenario explanations which is very helpful. Could be better at stopping students who don't really grasp concepts from taking class on irrelevant tangents. I understood her and could relate to material that needed to be learned because her examples/stories were interesting to me. Also, she treated us like adults, making attendance optional without penalty. But that means, study to make up for what you miss! YOUR responsibility! Raise your hand in class, be respectful. Great teacher,take her if you can

Great instructor, she is very clear and gives plenty of time to each section as well as providing enough time for discussion and questions.

She's amazingly sweet and funny. Applies the material to the real world in a memorable way. Straight forward, and you only "technically" need the textbook. Really respects her students.

She never really lectured from the book. She mostly lectured from notes that she made herself. She also doesn't post anything on blackboard so attendance is essential to passing. Can sometimes be confusing but her teaching style takes some getting used to.

I took this class online. It only consisted of writing four or five papers that were graded by completion. Her midterm and final exam info. comes mostly from off the study guide but there are some questions that weren't covered. The papers are worth enough so that you can do poorly on the final and midterm and still receive and A.

Colleen is extremely sharp, it's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Very approachable. Her lectures are heartfelt and have alot of wisdom, instead of just course material. Alot of her material can help one live a healthy life. Her class is like silly easy. Sorta pay attention, study 15 minutes, and it's an easy 100% on the tests.

Absolutely loved her as a professor! I actually took her Fall of 2014 and am just getting to reviewing her. I'm taking another psychology class with her because I like her so much! It was an interesting class for sure. She wrote up the notes while she lectured which was nice. Sometimes there was extra credit too. Read & study and you'll do fine :)

Absolutely recommend Ensley for any class. Although participation is not necessary, you do have to be there to take notes because that's what you are tested on but I absolutely loved her class and her lectures and got a 100%. Tests are mostly essay but she gives you the questions and were super easy. Wish I could take her again.

She is the most boring teacher in the world. Her lectures feel like they last a year. She gives very annoying examples and she makes me feel like I am being taught by a kindergarten teacher. The trade off for that is that she is an extremely easy teacher and gives you exactly what will be on the test. Try to stay awake.

I have taken Professor Ensley twice so far. Both times I was very pleased with the way she teaches. All of her test questions come straight from her notes. I never even bought the book and passed her class with a high A. Her classes are always so easy as long as you show up to class and pay attention and take notes. I highly recommend taking her!

Please save your money and do not get the textbook. Overall her lectures can be a little boring, but if you show up, take the notes and study them you will be 100% fine on the tests. This class is basically impossible to fail. She is sweet, knows about the subject and ready to help anyone. It's a pretty easy class and I would take it again.

Took psych 110 online. Very easy class. She tells you what she expects on day one and you can basically work at your own pace. Consists of 6 3 page papers. They're all easy topics. She's super nice and responds very quickly to emails. Also grades very fast. Highly recommend her!

All the tests are in essay form but she goes over what is on the exam the class before, very clear in what she expects from you. Textbook was not used but she did reference some graphs/charts/snippets from the book. Overall, very pleased with her as a professor. She genuinely knows her stuff and is passionate about the field.

I currently have Colleen for Personality and Abnormal Psych. Shes my favorite professor at ICC. Her classes are VERY minimal homework. Ever. Theyre all based on tests which are based on her lectures. Dont bother buying the books. You wont need them. She doesnt have an attendance policy but you need to be there to get the info! Love her. Easy As.

Not mandatory to come to class and does not even take attendance. Pretty much only graded by tests, but the tests are extremely easy. Tries to make a lot of jokes and is a little odd.

I love prof. Ensley! Classes are not super hard but still need to read and know the information for her exams that are 90% essay form. I'm an art major who has decided to branch off into using it as a therapy and Ensley has inspired me to have a passion for psychology! Tests are straight from notes so show up and read over what is lectured!

I absolutely LOVED Colleen. Going to night class is never fun, but she made it something I looked forward to every week. We learned some very interesting topics. Everything we wrote down in our notes was what was on the test. The book was not needed. Overall my easiest class. You just have to make sure to be there to get the notes.

Colleen Ensley is nothing shy of a complete gem. She is intentional about being very specific in her lectures and when there are tests. She gives great extra credit opportunities and keeps you engaged during class. She is incredibly understanding and makes an effort to help you when she can so that you can do well in her class.

I took her class for psy110 online, and I recommend that to everyone! The only assignments were papers, and the directions were incredibly clear and simple. Just make sure you have the right textbook for the information and its an easy A!

Professor Ensley is one of the best professors at ICC! Her lectures were always fun, and she told stories relating to her personal life which made things much more interesting. The tests are super easy, so as long as you take her notes you'll be fine. We hardly used the textbook, and she stuck strictly to only what she taught on tests. Love her!

I would highly recommend this class. This professor only gives you 6 papers to write for PSY 110. The papers are 3 pages long and you need to use the textbook for the topic she gives you. She grades the papers very easy too! An added bonus is writing these papers has made me learn about psychology more than a test would.

I had Professor Ensley for PSY110. She is an amazing professor who genuinely cares about her students. There is no tests or quizzes, only 6 papers (3 pages long) all semester, each due in a 2 week time period. All topics are straight from the book, no other sources needed! I never had an issue getting a response from her! I highly recommend her!

Colleen was amazing. The only assignments that we had over the semester was a simple 3 page paper due every few weeks over a chapter in the textbook. I spent about an hour on the class every three or so weeks and I got an A+! She is very attentive outside of class and always praises after submitting a good paper!

Her online class was very easy, and her grading criteria for the papers we wrote were clear. You dont need citations, and everything comes from the book. Skimming the chapters will give you enough to work with. I finished with a 100!

I took psych 112 (personality) and online due to COVID. And let me tell you that taking this class was the best thing I could have ever done. The assignments were essay like and very simple as they were based off the book. The best instructor Ive ever came across, she is also very nice and an easy grader. I would definitely recommend her.

This course was by far the easiest course I've ever taken. Write like 6 three paged papers, double spaced, no sources, every three weeks. Thats it. Took me an hour to write each paper. Mostly copied straight from the book. Ended with a 600/600. Not complaining, just obviously wasn't the most educational. Take if you're looking for an easy 3 credits

BEST PROFESSOR EVER. Prof Ensley only assigns 6 papers throughout the semester, and that is all. No homework and no exams. She is incredibly helpful and understanding. I would recommend this class in a heartbeat.

Do yourself a favor and take ANY class by Ensley. Show up and listen to her lecture, study for a couple nights before the test. Write down what she writes down. No homework, only exams (in person). Papers only for online. She relates things back to the real world and is always available after class. Sometimes she releases you early too. Easy A.

You will have to write handwritten papers during every test, and reading the textbook is a must for this class, but the lectures were entertaining and I enjoyed being her student.

Her only grades were 4 tests but everything from the lectures was on the tests and there were no surprises. As long as you take good notes her class is enjoyable and easy. I also feel like I learned and retained a lot of information. I hope I get to take one of her classes again in the future. She was super sweet, understanding, and funny.

Professor Ensley has been my favorite professor to learn from my entire college career. She makes lectures interesting and still leaves room to be sensitive for people. I have learned the most from this class than any other psychology class. I wish I had taken her for all of them! Her test questions come straight from lecture so be sure to show up.

She was honestly the best psychology teacher I've ever had. He lecture were amazing. She taught the material really well. Her tests were easy. I can tell she has a really passion for teaching. She cared for every student. She was always open to questions and willing to spark up remarkable conversations.

Very understanding and kind teacher. There is no homework, all you do is take notes in class. She writes the notes with the students so everyone can be around the same pace which is nice. The tests are a little hard, especially the essay questions, but if you pay attention you should be fine. The class is also incredibly interesting and fun.

One of my favorite professors at ICC, PSYCH 110 was super easy, no homework, and to be honest if you took a psychology class in high school, you won't even need to study for the exams. The only issue I had was that she never uses Canvas, so your grades won't be posted on there, but she gives back all exams.
