The most awful, closed minded professor you could imagine. Rude to students and created a hostile learning environment in which students are afraid to contribute to discussions because she is so critical. She constantly knocks students down and embarrasses them without even giving them a chance to make their claim. I hated the class so much.

She didn't seem too nice at first, but she warms up a bit. Quizzes aren't too hard if you read over the notes and book.

A very harsh Professor. She does not have any sympathy so do not ask for any. Make sure to do the assigned reading and to take notes. If you review it should be fine. Since it is a critical thinking class I thought there would be many answers to questions and theories. However you must think like Dr. Moss in her class.122

For a teacher who talks a lot about what makes a good teacher, she isn't much of one. Not only did feel uncomfortable during class but she made me feel inferior to her. She was especially hypocritical - like how she mentioned teachers should get to know and remember the names of the students, but asked us every class to bring out name tags...

She is very inspirational about this class in particular and LITERALLY follow what she says when talking about the big paper.

She is very inspirational about this class in particular and LITERALLY follow what she says when talking about the big paper. You need the books to read the chapters and the other pretty easy book you need to write the paper.

STAY AWAY. Assigned a paper as a huge part of our grade and didnt grade it herself. TA did. then she wont fix it if you think its unfair. Dont say anything that she doesnt believe in because shell make you feel STUPIDembarrass you. Class is pointless and tests are worded in ways she never uses in lecture. Common sense, 100% boring. Very rude.

This class was not what I expected. It's a very outspoken learning environment where the professor wants students to contribute their thoughts and points of views yet criticizes them for their beliefs. She doesn't care about her students and embarasses them. Definitely do not recommend her or this class.

She is a very judgmental person. You have to read the book if you want a good grade. There is one long paper, must go talk to her about the paper in order for you to know what she wants., the rubric is unclear. Attendance is important , must sign in and write a reflection at the end of class in order to make sure you were there

I actually really enjoyed this class. I realized that people who had very closed minds tended to hate this class. Go in with an open mind because thats what the whole class is about. She gives test and quizzes that you MUST study for using both the book and in-class notes. Don't make stupid comments in class because she doesnt take it well.

Loved Dr. Moss, great professor. She may seem scary at first but isn't so bad. You have a 1 page paper (Super easy) on your favorite quote & you present if your name is called. 1 (5 page min) paper on a book (which I loved). You write a reflection at the end of class every day and quizzes are not hard if you study. We always get out 15 min early.

Easy. You don't have to get the textbook to read. Gives 3 quizzes and are mostly based on lectures. There's a 2 page paper due at the beginning and calls 2 people to present that paper everyday.I never got called. Got credit. there's a 4 page paper on life lessons(read). I read the book a week b4 it was due and received an A (use a lot of book info

This class was not a very difficult class, but professor Moss made it difficult. Your grade is based off of 4 tests and a paper, and the study guides she gave us were not helpful at all! If you can take this class with another professor i would recommend you do so!

Lectures are really long and boring and she expects you to participate. Very easy to fail even if you studied everything because quizzes are less than 20 questions long. Sometimes feels like she is telling you why your thinking is wrong but tries to say that there is a better way of thinking, etc.
