Shes not as tough as she tries to act but i didn't know that until I got my grad

great teacher. Take home exams for every test including the final.
Great teacher.
An excellent teacher that is very open to discusing about any topic. Would defenitly recommend her to any student. Be repsectful and communicate with her if you have problems she is happy to explain in far more detail.
She's not very clear on what will be on her exams. Was told it would be based on her lecture when in fact it was based on the text. Tends to be late to class and has forgotten handouts and videos so that she had to stop class and go get them on more than one occasion
WAAAAAYYY more work than a 2 credit class should be. I like her, she's great, class is fun and we learn a lot from each other and our discussions...but be sure to set aside a good chunk of time for this one.
Totally a fun teacher, her quizes are challenging but predictible...pushes back dates, and is understandable about student's schedule. Not and 'easy A' but an attainable one. Highly reccomended
I still have no idea what she was talking about, but at least she seemed to know what it was. Easy on the eyes.
One of my favorite teachers at whatcom. It felt like I was actually learning something for once. Also, I loved this class, and wanted to do well, so I did, and I'd recoment phych 217 to most kids.

Great teacher, good personality, test are challenging but an A is attainable.
She's a pushover, she uses outdated and disproven material in her class, and she lets people hijack the class discussion to suit their personal agenda. The only good thing is, the tests are multiple-choice.
Good teacher, not an easy A but definately possible if you attend class.
The stuff she teaches may be a little out of date, but there's also a lot of helpful information out there (psychology IS a constantly changing field.) She was nice, but a lot of the time instead of lectures she would just show a video. Her class wasn't BAD, but it wasn't very thought provoking.
This was one of favorite classes at Whatcom. I think I went to EVERY class, because I wanted to, and learned something each day. And the guest speaker was really inspiring for sharing her story. Plus, Collete really a nice person.
A very postive teacher. She wants students to do well in her class. I found this class a little on the easy side since it used a textbook very similar to my highschool text. Her tests tend to cover many subjects from the text that are not in lecture, so keep up on the reading.
Great teacher. Nice, helpful, and reasonable. New her stuff. Very interesting class. Not to hard. Weekly open book multiple choice quizzes. Take home midterm and final. Interesting short films. Learned a lot.
She's a kick. Kinda has that granola bar, acid flashback from the 60's sort of demeanor. She's extremely nice, funny and laid back. Easy grader.
Colette is awesome. She knows her stuff, and loves to interact with her students. She loves psychology. Quizzes are all open note and open book; mid-term and final were take-home. I learned a lot from her. She's pretty funny too. I never intended to take more than general psych, but she got me considering it.
Great teacher. Entertaining and very educational. Encourages you to formulate your own opinion. Really good at not shoving her personal thoughts down your throat.
She makes this class fun. Would totally take her class again! It was a hard class for me but she is a great teacher!
Colburn is a great teacher. Always makes the material interesting. A fair grader and good looking too.
She was very helpful and she always answered any questions the students have. Some assignments were confusion but if you ask her she will explain them better. She made the class fun and interesting for everyone.
I took Human Sexuality, it should really be called "Study of Sexual Exploitation". I wouldn't personally recomend it, but I think Collete is a great teacher, So take Psych 110 from her kiddies. ~Later
Colburn is the best PSYCH prof at WCC. She made psychology very entertaining, and forces you to take little psycho-analyses of yourself (if you have a really bad self-esteem [like me], the content from the class can mess with your head a little). Quizzes were a little tough, but the exams were easier and well covered in the class. She's very cute.
Great teacher! Class discussions were go interesting that I would try not to miss a day just so that I wouldn't miss out on the discussions! I would recommend this class to anyone. Kind of a liberal subject matter but I enjoyed it.
Tests are open book/notes, but even with this very challenging. She is not very clear and when asked direct questions it was still hard to get a solid answer. Assignment were strait forward and not difficult.
Amazing teacher. The class had a lot of small group discussion and reading outside the text. The discussion was fascinating. Mrs. Colburn is, without a doubt, my favorite teacher at WCC. Easy going, willing to let you email assignments, easy grader, but very knowledgable on the subject. Take this class!
Collette is AWESOME!! I was so nervous before I took this class and wan't sure how I was going to do. She made learning fun and understandable. It had just the right amount of homework and test, definitly not overwhelming and hard. She is very easy going, fun, relaxed teacher. Take her class!! She is in my top five favorite teachers at WCC!
Collette is intelligent, good humored and a great teacher. She is helpful and kind.
I didn't feel like I really learned much from her class, but she dosn't assign homework and last quarter all of her tests were take home!!!! I got an A and didn't really do anything but the tests and maybe 3 assignments. Shes always a few minutes late to class but, hey, so am I!
Awesome class, Great teacher! Take it seriously and you will learn alot. I highly reccomend that u read the text and participate in class discussion. Try to stay on the subject though. Everyone should take Collete for a class.
One of the funnest, eye-opening classes I've ever took. Collete is wonderful. I highly reccomend this teacher for any psych class.
Tests are not open book anymore. Material is somewhat useful, lets you use only the study guide given for exams. Difficult class if you aren't interested in the subject. Collette is a great teacher, very helpful, class was enjoyable. Exams are extremely difficult because they aren't open book anymore.
I've taken 1 other class with Colette, both were awesome. Very thought provoking, I recommend her religion class too. Class is very open, doesn't mind if you're late, class discussion is key. Very open minded and highly intelligent. I've heard you can piss her off, but haven't experienced that myself. Awesome!
One of my favorite instructors at WCC! When I enrolled for this class I was very hesitant, since it had to do with religion. However, it was one of the best classes I have ever taken! I never once felt uncomfortable or embarassed in her classroom. She is a very understanding and fair instructor.
Collete is very unorganized and extremely unclear about assignments. She doesn't seem very intelligent. She came to class on time only 3 times the whole quarter. Her tests are pretty hard even though they are open book/note or take home. She is a very easy grader. If you are taking this class to learn, plan on teaching yourself from the book.
SUPERB INSTRUCTOR. I have taken two of her classes and would recommend her to anyone. She's extremely intellignent and one of the most helpful teachers I've had at Whatcom. Her tests are tough yes, but she'll help you with any questions you may have. She can be late from time to time but it's never more than five minutes. A+ Teacher!
shes hot, and a great teacher!
Colette is an extremely intelligent and thought provoking instructor. I have taken 3 courses from her so far, and am planning to take another next quarter. Colette is just... a beautiful person.
Colburn is one of my favorite teachers at Whatcom. She is very smart and knows her subject like the back of her hand and is super helpful. If you like psychology and actually want to learn something I highly recommend her. Her test are somewhat hard, but she gives you study guides and lets you use notes so you should be fine if you study.
Collete knows her stuff and she is genuinely interested in her subject matter. You have to really study for her tests, but she lets you write notes down on her study guides. Wonderful teacher; very knowledgeable. You are blessed to be in her class. Oh - and she's SO cute - really easy on the eyes.
Be very wary of Collete as a teacher. If you attend her church or subscribe to her religion, you'll get an A. If you are sceptical and don't appreciate her religion or pseudo-science being the focus, you'll be lucky to escape with a C.
Colette is a great teacher, her class peaked my interest almost every day I went in there. The exams were the kind that you could only do bad on if you never did the homework. She is a very sincere kind person.
In my Human Sexuality class Colette knew all thirty of our names by the second day of class. That is a perfect example of how much Colette sincerly cares about her students well-being. This class had too much discussion at times but was very life applicable. Colette is the kind of lady that you want to befriend because she is so splendid!
COLLETE IS THE MOST AWESOME TEACHER AT WCC!! SHE IS GREAT AT TEACHING, KNOWS HOW TO ENTERNTAIN STUDENTS AND MAKES PERFECT SENSE OF WHAT SHES TALKING ABOUT. CLEAR AND VERY HELPFUL OUT OF CLASS. SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU PASS HER CLASS, IF UR WILLING TO DO WHAT IT TAKES! SHE HAS THE BEST SENSE OF HUMOR AND VERY KIND, I LOVE SEEING HER AROUND!
Awesome teacher. The only class I went to everyday, willingly. Literally had fun and learned a ton EVERY DAY.
I have no idea, shes good but can be confused about certain things. She aparently forgot she gave me more time for the final and i lost my A becouse of it. I like her though, who dont. But her clarity on assignments and due dates is vague at best so make sure to try and turn things in early or they might be late. She is hot thou.
She is an AMAZING teacher. She knows so much about all of the classes she teaches. After taking Collete's class, I took 2 more of her classes and they where even more amazing! I learned so much from her classes. I would recommend ANYONE to take any of her classes. She cares about every student. Thank you Collete we all need more teachers like you!
I was so lost in this class due to the professor's jumping around so much. She was very inconsistent with the online part of the course. I don't believe we even finished a chapter in the book that was required for the low cost of $120. When asked a question, she stumbled so much that I never got an answer.
Colette Colburn is a great instructor who knows what she is talking about, plus she is fun to look at... Anyone who doesn't do well in this class isn't taking the time to ask questions or read the material.
Collete is a fantastic teacher. Her style took some getting used to, but stick it out. She's super nice and helpful. This class was super fun- you learn a TON every day. The tests can be hard, but you get a whole page of notes, double sided. If you put in the work, you'll get an A. Overall, I really recommend this class.
Good professor, I really enjoyed her class. She makes the material understandable, relevant, and interesting. She also lets you write notes on the study guide for tests so you don't have to memorize the material. There are four exams (all multiple choice) and a research paper.
Collette is friendly, funny, and never too serious. I took her Human Sexuality class and enjoyed the course. The exams are a little hard but curved and its easy to get an A even if you do badly on tests. LOVE HER.
I took her online class and it wasn't that good. She didn't log on often enough to answer questions about homework and quizzes in a timely fashion. I panicked a lot wondering what I was suppose to do. Her study guides for exams are misleading. It's better to study the whole chapter of each subject. The homework assignments by themselves were easy.
i recommend that people should not take her class, because this teacher didn't know how to explain the stuff. Her study guide is useless, her test is so difficult, 10 or 15 out of 50 questions are not based on the lecture and textbook.u have to use critical thinking to answer the exam.
Colette is awsome and so helpful. she answers questions patiently and is pretty funny too. Highly recommend!
Lots of class discussion that has nothing to do with the tests. The class was interesting but it often ended in bad science based on opinion.
She claims that this quarter was too much for her (she taught 20 credits). her lectures involved videos that probably weren't necessary. lecture topics (and questions posed by other students) put the class offtrack almost every class. In the end, she curved the tests; class averaged Cs (before the curve) on these tests.
If this is how Collette teaches 20 credits she must be super amazing at normal number of credits. Even though her tests are definitely hard, she answered questions even just before exams were handed out. If someone doesn't do well in her class they must be asleep or not there becuase she explains until everyone gets it.
Great online instructor! Well organized. Can ask questions that get answered promptly. She's real. If she makes a mistake, she takes care of it. If you need an answer to a question, you get it. Highly recommend
If you go to class and pay attention, very clear. She really makes a big effort to make sure everyone understands. Quirky but easy to follow and makes class interesting to come to. Knows her stuff. Ask questions and you'll enjoy class more. Definitely recommend
Wow! Not exactly what I expected but well worth it. I'd heard good things and so far, true. She's really into being honest and informative. Very helpful and dedication to students is obvious. You really have to go to class though to get what goes on. Don't miss it.
IDS 152 is an interesting class, you won't be bored for a second with all the material provided. Mrs. Colburn is a really neat professor- down-to-earth and helpful. My classmates and I were amazed at how much we have learned over this one quarter. WWC is lucky to have her, she's a good teacher!
Colette is a wonderful teacher. She is very informative and helpful. The class I took from her was writing intensive. She would read all the papers and give helpful advice and comments. Class was always full of interesting discussions and material. She has a wonderful personality and I would recommend her to anybody.
Prone to emotional outbursts in class. Led a discussion implying that 15th century American Indians did not have the mental capacity to conceive of the technological innovations of Europeans. She also wouldn't admit when she didn't know answers to tricky questions, instead trying to guess her way through answers which just confused students more.
Colette is very genuine and concerned about student success if you are. She knows her stuff. Very interesting class with quite a bit of writing and discussion involved. Tests are challenging, but you are allowed one page of notes.
I don't think I have ever had a professor less helpful when it came to answering questions from the class. Sometimes she would disagree with an idea, but she wouldn't explain her positions. Class had a "it's like this because I say it is" kind of vibe.
This professor was okay, but not that open minded. One of the men in the class had a few critical things to say about one of the units and she yelled at the whole class and asked him to leave the class and not come back. It was weird.
I took IDS in the fall and I'm not sure what the other comments about this course are about. I did miss a couple times but Colette was awesome. She guided discussions that were amazing and drew out students who actually had interesting things to say. I totally enjoyed the class. It was intense and there's tons of reading but well worth the work.
I took Colburn in fall and HIGHLY recommend this one for this course and from what I've heard whatever she teaches. I'm taking her for the sexuality course in spring. She's quirky but totally into student success. Stick with her, she won't disappoint
Simply put: Colette is a rock star. She is the BEST. This woman is Amazing. Total Awesomeness.
If you're taking her class be prepared to learn everything you need to know completely by yourself. It's not like she is going to teach you anything. She is very unorganized, spacey, and very unclear about what she wants for her assignments. Her study guides are not specific, and her lectures are not helpful.
One of the most interesting classes I've taken at WCC and I credit Colette for that. She allowed discussions where I think everyone had the opportunity to be included. One of the more interesting ended up being on the militarization of police. She was open for the class to talk about it, in a way that everyone felt respected. Take a class with her!
I loved the group discussions. It was great to see everyone's opinion on different matters and get a different perspective. As long as you did the assignments and turned them in, you'd be fine. The final papers are good because you get to summarize what you've learned with the help of the course journals you've been keeping throughout the quarter.
She is a super awesome teacher! She knows an incredible amount of facts about psychology. Being interested in neuroscience myself, I found this class extremely interesting. She lectures well, and answers questions in great depth. I would definitely recommend her!
Colette is a great professor; she's passionate and extremely knowledgeable on the subject. Her human sexuality class is a great environment for open and interesting discussionconversation about a topic that's often taboo. Class time is pretty much all discussion so make sure you read the textbook for exams. She answers questions in great depth.
Colette is obviously dedicated to her students and psychology is her passion. I had heard great things about her teaching and I wasn't disappointed. Whether a class you take from her is one required for your degree or not, I would recommend taking classes from her. Wow! It's not easy but it is helpful in ways you didn't even know
While she brings up interesting topics, she is the only instructor I've ever had (including math, mind you) that has made a 50 minute class last longer than a 2.5 hour class. I have never dealt with a professor this long-winded, or who beats around the bush near as much as she does. Bring a pillow, because her awkwardly long pauses last forever.
Colette has been really interesting in the class and facilitates discussions that really engages students. I'm unsure about the pillow comment as we had had class one day when that student commented. Three weeks in the class is anything but tiresome. Well, at least that's what I think. I recommend the course when it is offered.
Collete relies heavily on in-class discussion and barely uses assignments to advance learning. She is unskilled at facilitating these discussions which tend to veer away from relevant material into personal diatribes; mostly by students whose perspectives are already over-represented. Her subjects are upsetting and she provides no support.
Collette is the perfect combination of Hermione Granger and Luna Lovegood. Obviously extremely bright, but sometimes gets lost in her own mind during lecture. Class worth taking, very interesting! Fill up your note sheet for the exams (mult choice, matching, ESSAYS yes I said essays) and doing your reading makes it waaay easier. EXC is easy, do it.
You do have to show up and make sure to do the homework as it does help with exams. Make to ask questions. She doesn't give reviews but will if you ask. She knows her stuff and is respectful towards students. She'll help if she can. Take this class. You'll learn a lot about yourself!
If you want to learn about this subject in a non judgmental environment, take it with Colburn. She allows and encourages discussions on all topics related to sexuality. It's really important to be there for every class tho because classmates are interesting in what they say. You'll learn tons about yourself and others and their ideas on sexuality.
I took both of her classes and found them incredibly interesting. She was great at facilitating group discussions in her 295 class, which is the point of a seminar class. Even in her 180 class, the open discussion was always interesting. Her classes were eye openers, and I took a great deal out of them. Overall, they were enriching experiences.
Colburn is an incredibly engaging professor. She's a little spacey though and can be hard to follow. Her tests are much more difficult than the material she teaches. Often there would be material on the tests she never went over in class. Quite a few videos but mostly lecture. Homework is irregular. Values class discussion.
Colette is great. Helpful. Inspiring. Allows discussion that can be interesting. Take her psych class!
Collete was very kind and always willing to help if I asked for it. At times, she could be vague when she assigned homework, but she would usually grade based upon effort. Her tests were very hard; be sure to study the book AND lecture notes. Collete always gave feedback on homework assignments, which was very helpful.
Colburn is very nice and easy to approach. It's clear that she cares about her students and will help you out when asked. The only thing I wasn't fond of in her class were the tests. I always studied hard and felt as though I understood the material, but the test questions were confusing and worded weirdly.
Challenging but great class! Discussion based so be prepared to participate and hear other students ideas about material. i learned a lot about myself too. Super interesting class I'd definitely recommend.
Tough Grader, poor feedback, homework is vague and not in syllabus, vague grading criteria, vague lectures, no outline, doesn't follow book. Tests don't reflect lectures, lectures often different than book. Spacey, unorganized, lots of movies and personality tests. Youtube and Cosmo could do as well at a fraction of the cost.
It was obvious from the first day that Colette cares about her students. While her exams are tough, she does allow notes. Pay attention to what she says, like directions and expectations given in class. Be sure to ask questions and you'll do good in her class. She is kind of spacey but some students ask off topic questions. I'd recommend her class!
Amazing! Talks about stuff no one talks about in college. Take her class, you won't regret
I took her religion class which was lecture heavy. Quite a bit of reading but well worth it. You write a lot of papers but they aren't difficult because they were mainly your reflections . As for the teacher, amazing. Very accessible and caring, and managed to let everyone talk. Passionate about her subject. Deff would recommend for anyone at WCC.
I've liked her so far
She doesn't use canvas which I didn't like so my quarter grade was honestly a surprise for me. She is a pretty easy grader and it seems like homework outweighs the tests. I didn't do very well on the tests, and she allows a note card, but did all of the homework. I thought I would see a C on my transcript but I had an A. Don't sweat it.
It's a very simple class, but at times she seemed unorganized, homework isn't much, but some things were a bit vague, notes were allowed on certain tests but overall it was an interesting class, although words in the text and some used in class is outdated/no longer used. But this class is decent to take nonetheless. No canvas only email.
It's a very interesting class and she honestly does care a lot about her students and their success. Homework is usually fairly simple and mostly what she is looking for is that you're taking in the material, there's not really a right or wrong answer. Exams were typically much harder than the course content, be sure to study very hard for those.
I Took her Human Sexuality class, and it really open my mind about ideas i never thought, I can tell she really cares and puts effort in making a safe environment for all and making great discussion questions. I do feel she was a little unorganized but all in all great class and great teach would have again.
When I signed up I figured this would be pretty easy. It was challenging, but in a fun way. I didn't miss a single class and looked forward to every one. Would highly recommend! Eye opening
Condescending, unorganized, does not provide substantial feedback, doesn't use canvas, doesn't give you grades back on your papers, book does not align with her lectures, and unnecessarily writing heavy.
I found Colburn to be extremely respectful and understanding to students. Her content however can be challenging and very confusing and tests don't normally reflect what is in the textbook or lectures. However, she grades on a curve and I passed with an A when I thought I was failing.
I took this class online and I really enjoyed it. There is a lot of reading but as long as you keep up on that everything else will be pretty easy. She replys fairly quickly to if you need to email her a question and grades fairly quickly as well! I would take her class again
Collete creates and dynamic classroom for discussion. It was an incredible class and I learned so much.
Read the extra readings! They're really interesting and group discussions are interesting if the reading is done! Great stuff! Do your homework, it helps on exams. Do the journals. They are easy and help you stay on track with the class info. We talk about difficult topics and colburn makes it doable.
Collette is really good about answer questions over the weekend via email. Very approachable too. Lots of reading but most of it is interesting. Extra credit if you ask for it.
Hands down the best professor I have ever had. Period. She is super nice and intriguing to hear a lecture from. She really does care for all students and most importantly she makes you feel like you are the focus of the class, not a grade or a bunch of numbers. I definitely want to take more classes with her. Put in the work and you will pass.
She gets things wrong when students ask questions or answers questions without giving any new information. Videos are from the 80s. Tests have information we did not go over and are not outlined in material from lecture or book. She is very nice and cares about students. Class got out about a half hour early everyday no questions.
I have yet to finish her class, but I can confidently say I will not take her class again. Instructions are confusing on just the syllabus, and on the syllabus she says, "(about pictures of board/recording lectures) illicitly gained information are subjected to lawsuit." Is she going to file a lawsuit so I can remember what I need to do?
I will not be taking any of her classes again. Shes confusing, doesnt seem to know what shes teaching. Refuses to explain anything more in depth. Tests arent even on what we learned. Not very good instructions for assignments. Very disorganized and rude.
She gives too many lectures and makes us write too many notes in class. Its hard to understand all of the information she gives us. She is a sweet person just wouldn't take class again
Be sure to ask her lots of questions
I enjoyed the class, but she is definitely more of a lecture heavy instructor. It alternates between lots of note-taking and her videos, which tend to be classic old-school clips. I'd say if you do the work, show up & actually study for the exams you will be fine. Exams were not the easiest even with notes allowed, read the text as prep!
I wish the class was more interesting, content is old but she says it is still relevant. Online she did not teach her students only the textbook and videos taught us. She is very sweet and willing to help her students. I didn't even know if she was a woman before I asked to meet with her, that gives you an idea of what taking the class was like.
Don't expect much feedback, guidance, or constructive criticism on your work. Coursework quality standard is low, so it is not difficult to get good grades. If you want to grow as a student, this is not the class. Instructor quick to respond and maintains good communication through private e-mail.
Very reasonable and responds quickly. If you do the work, you should have no problem getting a good grade in the class. Enjoyed the material, it was easy to get the work done without fully reading text (some weeks there was a lot of reading assigned). No problems maintaining a high A while also taking a very difficult, course heavy class.
The class workload was easy to keep up with, the only thing I really have to comment on is how much of your grade is dependent on discussion boards, but even that's not too bad. Overall, interesting class, good teacher too.
I had her for Human Sexuality, and it was a really in-depth class. She keeps the workload small(ish) w/ weekly discussion posts, journals, and occasional assignments, and those are easy to do if you read the material (also very interesting!!). She does have a midterm, research paper, and final that are a huge chunk of your grade, so focus on those
Honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had. She wanted you to do well and did what she needed to do to help you succeed. her assignments meant a lot to do and really got you thinking about things either you've never thought about or it would make you consider why you may have these views. absolutely wonderful
she is an amazing teacher, she's caring and wants you to do well in her class. her class is a lot of self reflection on the material. she encouraged questions and is willing to help if you need it. it was refreshing to have a teacher that is interested in what you get from her class
Don't take this class if you're a SA survivor. She's not considerate whatsoever, which is a really bad sign when teaching such a sensitive topic. Some of the assignments were downright horrific, content-wise.
Many of the prompts and questions that this teacher uses as graded assignments are incredibly insensitive to trauma and in doing so creates unsafe spaces for students in online discussions. Her tests are autobiographical when they could easily be more academic with more relevance to the application of the material. Waste of time and money.
I had this teacher for human sexuality and she was a pretty good teacher, the workload is very easy for the most part, there are just a few spontaneous assignments that I turned in late because the homework schedule was a bit hard to follow. She also never gave us trigger warnings in her announcements for any of the material.
collete helped me with an extension. however, i don't think she handled the unit about trans people well. one of the first assignments is about a person(?) named archie who cross dresses. his wife is disgusted by him. it felt transmisogynistic. while this class had some insights for me, it is a class made by cishet people for other cishet people.
I really enjoyed my online Developmental Psychology course with Colette. She is an amazing professor - very caring and seems like she genuinely wants to set students up for success. She always responds to messages and answers any questions. I liked that each week was set up roughly the same so you knew what to expect.
The course workload is manageable, and the professor is generally helpful. However, some of the content and assignments can be insensitive, especially for survivors. Unstuck ai proved useful for staying on top of the discussion boards.
Do not take this Human Sexuality class if you are trans. The textbook used is written by Simon Levay, who has awarded substantial praise to Ray Blanchard's school of thought re gender – if you know, you know. If you are expecting a decent, modern approach to gender simply because this is a college-level course, you are deeply mistaken.
It was easy but not what i expected. Some of the material was genuinely interesting but some just didn't feel too related to human sexuality. Mostly discussion posts which were sometimes fun. Shes really nice too
This instructor was very forgettable, in a good way. The class was interesting and easy and if you need the credit. The course being online made it an easy A.
Great class. Every week we had to read from the textbook, do a discussion, write a journal entry, and then had another assignment. It was easily organized, fairly graded, and the teacher was really helpful if I had any questions! I would definitely recommend.
psych270, death and dying. the outline had me really excited when i enrolled in class, but it was a major disappointment. half the assignments are "self care" summaries making sure your mental health is okay when reading the textbook. i dont think i actually learned anything helpful that wasn't already in developmental psych
