Connie is a great teacher. She offers alot of extra credit and 3/4 of her classes are spent watching videos. Her tests and quizzes are easy if you study the guides she hands out. I would HIGHLY recommend her for a teacher!!
She is really sweet, attendence is taken, so you do have to go to class. There are a lot of videos. I would recommend her to anyone.
Her class is very easy. Most of the time all we do is watch movies. Her tests are fill in the blank but they are still easy and every other question is extra credit.
Mrs. Jordan is a bit odd. She's very nice but she is also one of the most boring teachers i have ever had. I takes all my strength to not fall asleep in her class. She also tends to be very unclear about group projects or class presentations.
Easy class. Sweet, sweet lady, very understanding and aids in whatever she can. Class could be somewhat boring, but a guarenteed A if you put forth the effort.
certifiably crazy
How many times are we going to hear about your painting you bought for $100 which is now worth 10,000? She talks about the most irrelevant material. Very unclear about everything. The word senile comes to mind.
She i s wonderful. She is a little peace of heaven everytime you go to class. I love her class and the class is an easy A if she likes you. She is very odd but very sweet and hip.
YOU NEED A CAR FOR THIS CLASS! EXTRA CREDIT THINGYS ALWAYS COST MONEY! If she doesn't like you, don't plan on getting a good grade. Everyone else says she's so wonderful, but, yeah right! very boring, and you gotta read the book to pass the test. SUCKS!
Overall she is a pretty easy teacher. However, she does not shut up about personal life. She is not very organized either.
Jordan is a bad teacher. She gets so caught up in herself and barely teaches. She'll touch on a topic and then start talking about her personal life. She is also very disrespectful when others are presenting or talking.
Ms. Jordan is a really good teacher. The class is super easy if you read and do the work. She can go off topic but overall she knows what she is talking about. I had two courses with her and will take more in the future.

This class caused stress for me since she was SO disorganized! Other than that, she was sweet and gave A LOT of extra credit... just make sure you give a good first impression.
Everyone is being so hard on her! Her class is easy and if you like the topic then you will like the class. She is very sweet and it's a very easy A. (She can be disorganized, but she was sick last semester, which many students seem to be forgetting.)

VERY SWEET LADY! Gives easy tests (just go over the notes and pay attention in class and u wont need to read, A lot of xtra credit given, we wrote 3 250wrd essays the entire class, lets u leave early constantly, plays movies in class-no hw, just vocab.
I love Connie! She is so helpful and will work around any of your problems. she really cares for students and goes out of her way for you to get an A. I would take every class she offered. No HW, Easy Tests, and short class time.
Connie Jordan is the funniest teacher I've had so far. She is so helpful too: she called me about a movie she thought I'd like that applied to my research paper. She even reserved a copy for me! Kinda scatterbrained but she has cancer so deal.
She's disorganized and talks about herself a lot, but the class is easy. You do learn the material (notes, movies, vocab, papers) and if you can sit through her class, you're pretty much guaranteed an A- LOTS of extra credit opportunities. Good class.
Easy class.. but professor is very unorganized and VERY vague. Class consists of a few papers here and there and multiple choice and fill in the blank exam.. overall, easy, take her class.
I love Connie she was awesome... she sincerely cares about her students and gives out lots of extra credit... i don't enjoy history and found the class interesting.... She lets you leave early also and no homework... Cant say a bad word about the lady!
I love Connie Jordan-such a sweet lady and the class is super easy!! I definately will be taking Hum. Trad. II with her!! You leave early and tests are so easy-mult choice& fill in the blank! I highly suggest her class!
She's really nice, but I was confused most of the time about when and what was due. It was also hard to hear her sometimes because she'd turn away and mumble. Easy class. Gives out extra credit. Just make sure you find out when the stuff is due.
This class is soo easy, she does everything she can to make it simple. Her tests are CAKE. Show up to class and do the little work she asks. She is very understanding and nice.
Ms. Jordan is the sweetest lady and she is more than willing to help you if you just ask. Test are not that difficult if you attend class and occasionally take notes. You can easily get an A or B, tons of offers for extra credit! Take this with her!
She is a great professor, LOTS of extra credit! She will help you out with any problems you might have. Great class, very interesting!
Really nice lady who loves the arts! Gives a lot of extra credit and is pretty laid back. Tests are pretty straightforward and, like I said, they have a lot of extra credit on them. I would recommend taking her class.
This is one of the easiest teachers at UCF. She gives a review sheet out with all of the questions. Her tests are really easy but she counts attendance. It's not too bad going to class because she is really entertaining.
Ms. Jordan- She's an amazingly sweet lady, and she has a tendency to go off on small tangents but overall she really is fun. I was afraid I'd have difficulty but I got an A in her class and she is very good about focus papers/and finals. I loved writing and she has an open mind so have fun!
Class was so easy! If you have a good writing style you will get tons of extra credit on your papers. If not, no worries, she gives tons of other extra credit. She's a really nice person who is always willing to listen and help out.
Very easy class. You do have to go because she takes attendance every day. Nice teacher, but she's a little repetitive and vague. Kind of unorganized at times, but I think she tries really hard. I would recommend this class to anybody, especially over history.
This class is so easy. I highly recommend her. You have to go to class for 2 reasons: 1) She takes attendanc every day and 2) Many of her test questions come directly our of her lectures. They are usually things that she says like a thousand times.
As always she was great. I took her for both humanities. She makes the subject interesting and has lots of funny stories from her life. Tests are ridiculously easy, extra credit EVERYWHERE on EVERYTHING. It was a pleasure to attend her class again.
She is a very nice lady and is willing to work with you. She gives extra credit and a lot of the extra credit she will tell you in class.
nice lady. Pay attention to the presentations
very good teacher; explains things and tells you what you need to know for tests.
Nicest teacher in the world. A little confused most of the time, but she will give you a second chance if you forget anything because chances are, she forgot it too. I got a B with very little effort, but I had to go to all the classes for attendance.
She's pretty scatterbrained, but keep asking questions and you'll figure out what to do. I did all my HW and a little extra credit and ended up with an A. I also got an A on my term paper (which I thought sucked) anyway, just do her little EC assignments and she'll love you!
SHE IS SO SWEET. I'M TAKING MAUKONEN NOW AND SHE'S A DOLL TOO. I LOVE HUMANITIES PROFESSORS.

im the most non-artsy person in the world and i got a 95 her class. all test questions come from things shes repeated 20 times. so easy!!!
if i was tested on her life and her favorite thing to order at mcdonalds i would have gotten an A. Your pillow will need a pillow because this class is so boring it's not funny. Not hard but she is usually **** and dresses in the dark. Didn't learn much but I learned that there are 137 tiles on the ceiling.
Extremely helpful and flexible. Test are contingent on lecture notes book is used to refresh or to read more in depth what was taught in class.
EASY!! she mispronounces names on most things but she very nice and will work with you if you need help.
SO EASY!!! sweetest lady ever! a little weird and mispronounces words but sooo easy. tests are straight from her lectures. go to class, its easy! TAKE HER!
This class was so easy and yet so amazing at the same time. I didn't crack a book open and I got a grade over 100. She's really sweet too, and she allows extra credit as well. She takes attendance, so show up. All in all, it's a great class and I highly recommend taking it. I personally hate history, but I'm taking Humanities 2 in the spring.
Great Teacher and great class, I highly reconmend that if you decide to take a class for your history credits to take this course. Its easy material, low work load, and a lot of fun. She does get occasionally side tracked at times but she does get the material she is trying teach through to the students. Best teacher I've ever had.
Very nice lady. She is a very good teacher and will help if you need it. Very easy class.
I love going to her class; she's a nice teacher and a little wacky. However, she gives pages and pages of notes that you must study in order to pass her class. The book isn't necessary, but attending her class is, since she takes attendance too. You need the notes to pass. She also lets you attend later classes if you missed yours. I liked her!!
very nice, tests are fill in the blank, she gives a decent review, kind of funny, laid back. spreads out the writing, however you do have to do one 1500 word research paper, but she gives you 52 topics to choose from, so its not so bad. pretty easy i def recommend her
i learned nothing. she referred to king arthurs wife as "genevieve" on multiple occasions as well as making other obvious mistakes. if you already know the material and like to watch crappy videos then she is a good teacher for you. otherwise dont take this class.
She is the most unorganized person i have ever seen. She is boring and if i ever have to watch another nun movie again i will die. She wont email you back, even if you email her 100 times and she does not review for her test besides looking at pictures and telling you which ones she likes.
Dr. Jordan is the sweetest little old lady ever! Her class is interesting and she is so funny so it's not hard to listen to her. Just go to class, take some notes and listen. You usually watch a movie a week. The tests aren't bad and she reviews for them! I had her for both HUM 1 and 2 and loved her. She's always willing to help, take her!!!

professor was extremely unorganized. horrible grammar. she once failed to show up on a test day. we had 3 tests in a matter of one week. shes pretty much senile. DONT TAKE
nice lady. If you go to office hours and make an appointment she will help u w.e means possible. her grammer she grades hard. She sometimes doesnt understand what your saying and thinks there is only one way to say something so her grading is hard to understand b/c if you read it its fine then when she grades ur paper she changes around but shes ok
Worst teacher of my entire life. She's basically a senile idiot who can't spell or use proper grammar to save her life. Also, her notes look like she had a seizure while typing them. All you do is hear her ramble (incorrectly) about the subject or watch movies that were made at least 30 years ago. Do not take if your respect your intelligence!!
Easy class, but only a decent teacher. It's Gen Ed so take it cause it's an easy A if you study and watch the dumb movies she shows in class
Class is dull, with either constant note taking, in which she lectures word for word from the type up of notes, or watching movies (almost every class) the review is somewhat helpful but some test questions are not discussed. She's hard of hearing and has alot of misspellings in her notes. i don't recommend taking her.
Very nice woman. She grades grammar really tough but other than that not to bad. She can't spell that well so dont worry about spelling on your papers. She is good about getting papers bad
She over-teaches the class. She is way to specific & the tests are ridiculous! I have passed Organic Chemistry I & II. But I find myself studying more for this class! A FRICKIN HUMANITIES CLASS! THIS TEACHER IS HORRIBLE!
Prof. Jordan is the sweetest lady ever! She does misspell words and names on the notes but really enjoys what she teaches and gives a ridiculous number of extra credit opportunities so there's no excuse for not getting an A. She uses a lot of videos and visual aids but it's HUMANITIES- you can't learn about paintings and music by the book alone.
Ms. Jordan is definitely very sweet and approachable. She is willing to work with you and her notes are right from the book. The test is straightforward and she gives alot of extra credit. As long as you go to class, take notes and study them you'll do fine. She is so nice that she was willing to change a test date because I had other exams that da
She's the sweetest lady ever! I got an A in every single test and essay. If you end up with an A in her class at the end of the semester you don't have to take the final. As long as you go to class you'll be fine. You watch a lot of movies and if you don't have a textbook you can just google the paintings. Also, lots of extra credit!
I am a big fan of humanities but she was probably one of the worst teachers i have had ever. Her notes dont even form complete thoughts much less complete sentences and she is completely disorganized. Not to mention that after the fact she practically harrassed me via my email after my class with her had ended. DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER!!
Don't take this class!! She can't hear you when you talk and you can't hear her either. No one in my class knows whats going on! She gives ZERO guidelines on what to study for and expects specific answers on poorly written tests. She is just toooo old and senile to understand whats going on around her, let alone help YOU out! DONT TAKE!!
Nobody around me understands whats going on in my class. She just rambles about random things and which paintings she likes. Then all the sudden, you think you know what to study for the test, and you get the test and you're like (WTF?)Everyone's so pissed cuz theyre failing a freakin humanitites class. i STRONGLY suggest you don;t take her.
Okay, first off this class is EASY-the ones who don't do well are the ones that talk throughout the period. And yes she is on that oxy medicine but because she just had some sort of surgery last week. If you want to PASS: Listen, write down notes(yes, they have many grammar mistakes) read the chapters with minimal attention and just study. EASY A
She's a nice lady. It's easy to get an A if you study the notes and read the chapter with minimal attention. She does play some discovery channel looking shows and movies like Troy, but it's really not that bad because they are only on for about 10-15 mins. Her essays aren't too bad. Also, she doesn't speak loudly so just sit toward the front.
AVOID TAKING THIS PROFESSOR! She is never clear on what she wants and her notes are useless, unorganized, and there are typos all over the place. No one knows what's going on during class, everyone is confused except for those who sit up front because they are the only ones who can hear her. Tests are fill in the blank and short answer with some
NEVER TAKE HER! I think I know more about her sex life than about Humanities. She's a nice lady when you go up to her after class, but she has no idea what she is talking about. This class is a waste of your time. I often leave wondering why I woke up to go to the class.
She cannot pronounce names of important artists and artworks correctly. Notes are confusing and lots of them. All we do is take notes almost word for word from the text book. Attendance is mandatory. She is really awful.
EASY CLASS! As long as you read the book or atleast study the notes, she will go over most of everything that will be on the test! So many easy extra credit oppotunities! Very helpful and understanding will let you fix things etc. yeah shes awkward sometimes and tells inappropriate storys but its better than her talking at you, keeps it interesting
She's a sweet lady, and really helpful. She is very helpful when it comes to essays. She wants students to do well. The notes are most helpful for her tests. She always reviews before tests and tells you everything you need to know. Sit in the front because she does talk somewhat softly. Lots of extra credit opportunities.
EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE HER! all the comments that are negative down below are people that were constantly rude to the professor and talking. It's definitely an easy class. You can miss class 3 times. Tests are fill in the blank but she goes over exactly what you need to know(only 3 tests). She is always willing to help and gives extra credit. EASY A!
She is nice. That's about it. She tries but she just doesn't get there. She can't spell, she can't keep her class quiet. She told us about her sex life. The class overall isn't terrible. I'd suggest using a digital recorder for her lectures and then read the book. Tests are a bit specific sometimes. If you take her, make sure you have patience.
She's nice and sometimes she might share a little bit too much personal information, but her class is easy and there are many opportunities for extra credit to help your grade. The only bad part is attendance is mandatory and you have to buy a textbook and read it along with her notes to do well on her tests.
EASY A!!!!!You take A LOT of notes though..but they really help on the tests. Grade is based on 3 exams, 3 essays and extra credit. Book and attendance is mandatory. I got an A with last minute studying!!

I'm a humanities major who had to go back and take this class because i apparently skipped it. Knowing humanities already, I can tell you Mrs. Jordan is the worst humanities teacher I've ever had! She confuses names, dates, and events. Pronounces names wrong constantly, and tells incorrect information! She's boring as all get out (humanities shouldn't be boring! It's awesome!), her tests are so poorly constructed it's hard to understand what she's asking or see where to write the answer! Awful!
Do not take this course with Professor Jordan. She gives horrible notes with spelling errors and talks so low you cannot hear her. She constantly cancells class without notice and grades essays unequally.
Professor Jordan is a sweetheart!!! The class is an easy A if you actually try and pay attention. There are 3 tests, 3 essays, and tons of extra credit. She is a nice lady who will help you as much as she can if you take the time to ask for her help. I learned a lot in her class and she was one of my fav professors of the semester. Don't be scared!
I came into her class not knowing a thing about art, or having any interest for it. Thanks to Ms. Jordan I truly appreciate art and really enjoy looking at it now! She has such a kind heart and a genuine interest for her students. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone understands what she's teaching. She's a WONDERFUL TEACHER!!!:)
I would not recommend this teacher to anyone. She is not consistent on classes, and confuses dates and names of paintings. 3 major essays and 3 tests. They are not cumulative. She talks quietly and is not audible if not in the front of the classroom.
I failed the first exam miserably (52) and still ended up with an A in the class. I just made appointments with her one on one, did extra credit, and got help from a tutor. There are only 3 exams but if you fail the 1st don't stress, you can definitely pull it up but you have to talk to her. She's extremely helpful if she sees u making an effort
I would not recommend this course with this professor. She was very difficult for me to understand because her notes never made much sense at all. Her exams are also just as incomprehensible. They are equally as confusing as her lectures and notes. Much like her emails. The textbook was more helpful then she was.
She is all over the place and her notes are very objective. If you value good education, do not take this class. She is very confusing and not very "with it".
She is very out there and all over the place but her class really is interesting and easy. I'd take her again.
The professor does not know her information and her notes are all over the place. However, it's a pretty easy class if you just study her notes.
dropped too much acid in the 60's.
She's a nice person, but she shouldn't be teaching. She should be at home getting better.
Very old, inconsistent teaching. Notes are absolutely terrible with no consistency. Changes syllabus on a regular basis and does not list test dates or assignments. Also, talks a lot about her personal preference on religion and how she "Doesn't have anything against Asians and Indians, but we don't have time for that here." Should retire asap
