Very thurough! Awesome Prof! Tests are a bit hard. Always willing to help!
Very nice, detailed tests
Great teacher
Very knowledgable...okay tests...take her!
She is absolutely great! She knows her stuff AND she's a triathlete!
very nice prof, fair tests
very understanding, very nice...good teacher w/ fair tests
great teacher, so nice, very helpful, hard tests...
Very nice, pretty easy tests, teaches straight from the book
she really knows her stuff and her tests are decent, take her if you can
she knows what she's talking about. tests resemble lecture. gives extra credit.
Tests are tough, she knows A LOT about the subject, friendly in class and fun

very nice, tests not hard IF you study, boring class in general but she makes it better, take her!
Good class - friendly teacher, moderate difficulty, interesting content

cute haircut and great body!
great teacher
great teacher. Very friendly and helpful in class. Tests are easy to study for, sometimes picky questions though, she's got stories for everything that make class interesting. take her!!!
She teaches Gen Ed the way it should be tought. She teaches college students what we need to know, has a great sense of humor, and understands that the class will not be on the top of our to-do list. I have even become healthy now.
great teacher, class subject is fairly easy, lectures are on blackboard, her class made me change my major to athletic training
she's cool & laid back. doesnt take attendance. realizes that other classes come before health. notes every day, you will have to do 15 urec hours, a couple stupid busywork write-ups, & tests aren't too bad if you study all the information (100 m.c.).
Kinda boring class but gives extra credit for attendance, nice, and tests aren't too hard.
Yes, she's nice in class. Memorize the book and her notes, and you will do good on the tests. One-on-one, she's very cranky and scary. Uhhh i didn't like it one bit!
shes pretty cool..gives lots of notes..i never read and ill pull off a B
Great professor. No-nonsense. Take notes, come to class, and you'll do fine. Tests are annoying(100 multiple choice). Final isn't cumulative.
She is good. The only health teacher I havent heard complaints about. Go for her
awesome teacher. makes class interesting to go to, and you learn a lot. take her!
class is boring, but she tries to make it interesting, very nice woman, best hth 100 professor you're gonna get
Boring lectures, tests material is from the book, and even then half the info is a mystery
She tries her best to make a boring class interesting. Likes to give clear examples of things that are kind of abstract. Tests are a bit of a challenege, but not too bad. She uses power points for everything.
Overall nice lady. Very boring lectures. Talks about her personal life and nephew too much. Seating chart for 300+. Tests are way too hard for a 100 class. Study a lot (book and notes) and you'll be ok. Extra dumb stuff (passports/attend) helps the grade.
She's probably the best teacher teaching this course. Her way of teaching and lecture style is helpful. NOtes are on blackboard so you can jsut listen in class and then print the notes. Exams are not so hard if you know the powerpoint slides.
Easy class, if studying is done. Go to class and pay attention. She keeps things light-hearted, and it very understanding. Knowledgable on her subject...
It could be worse, I guess.
She is definitely the best professor of this course! I enjoyed going to the class as much as a person can in GHTH. I learned really interesting things that I can apply.
Make sure you read, a lot comes from the book... boring lectures, but nice woman... one of the best
Brings life into the classroom every day! Great professor
shes the best at teaching the info for this class. uses good/clear examples. tries to make class more interesting but its basic stuff you learned when you were 10. tests come from book.
This class is extremely boring. She tries to make it fun, but there are A LOT of notes to take. If you just read your chapters, you will be fine on the test.
This class was boring, but Connie did her best to make it fun! You might thing health is an easy A tho, and it's not... more like an easy C. You will need to read for Connie, but I guess this is college... She is a good person to teach this class!
Connie is very nice, and tries her best to make the class fun. Probably the best prof you're going to get. Passports and work out hours are annoying, but just do it and you'll be fine.
Very nice. Will answer questions unlike some professors who will just beat around the bush.
dr. peterson is one of the coolest health professors. having that class at 8am wasn't all that fun, but she will do/say whatever... which makes the class very interesting!
Tests are SOOOO hard. I got an average of about a 79 and I studied my butt off. I couldn't imagine what it would be if I hadn't studied so much. Prodehl is a little easier, take her if possible.
Connie was very easy and is generous with the bonus points. I got an A in the course despite not taking notes.
If you like being read to from power point slides, take her. Not a bad class, and she's not a bad teacher, just sorta boring teaching style, but she tires. Very nice, but not always available but she tries to make herself available to students.
very nice lady, semi-boring lectures--only uses power point, she knows her material and tries to keep it interesting, tests not hard if you read
Great teacher, makes boring lectures somewhat interesting. If you can take her class.
Awesome teacher, makes the class go by quick and is very helpful and understanding if you need it. I recommend!
extremely awesome professor. she really knows her stuff and makes it interesting to learn.
Great teacher! She knows what she's talking about and is very clear. She is also very nice and down to earth. She's fair and likes to make some jokes to keep things interesting. No attendance policy. Gives you notes on blackboard. If you're taking health, takie Connie's class!!!
lectures with powerpoint, pretty much straight book stuff, easy class, tests are a lot of information to take in
very easy class. she puts all the notes on line so no need to take them in class plus no attendance so you can afford to skip every once in a while, but go to class when it rains she give bonus points that really help. tests are easy just read a little and study notes other than that piece a cake
Class can get somewhat dull at times, but she does a good job of keeping it interesting. Awesome lady, she is very helpful. Mostly a common sense class.
Nice lady, not too much to say. Homework is a breeze, though some of her tests are hard. Class can get old, but mainly it was a good class.
Pretty good teacher. Notes are on Blackboard, and no attendance policy. Tests are pretty hard though, but I think they're departmental.
Great professor. Lectures mainly using Powerpoint, but going to class really makes material more clear. Very helpful.
Awesome teacher, makes class interesting. No attendence policy, power points online, but you should still go to class, she makes it go quickly anyways.
Lectures are clear and she talks right from the power point...which is online. Exams are 75 multiple choice questions with 25 T/F. Come to class cuz you never know when she will give you a few points for being there. Nice professor....no study guides which suck...no to bad....i gotta B
No attendance policy which is good, but makes it difficult to get up for 9:30 class. She tries to keep us awake though & gives bonus attendance quizzes which can help you in the end. Some tests are pretty hard. Lots of extra stuff you have to do for the class, but thats just the general cirriculum.
Connie is a great professor and is really knowledgeable about the subject. Lab is really fun too. Tests aren't that bad... study the powerpoints. Go to class, it's worth it. I recommend this class if you're thinking about AT, but not sure yet. It's also just a "good-to-know" info class.
Great, easy class. One of the few health classes that has no attendance policy. The work and tests are easy, just read over the text. She makes the lectures interesting (if you can make it to class). Highly Recommended.

Really helpful powerpoints, posted on blackboard. no attendance policy but gives extra credit on bonus days if your there. really sweet and makes class interesting. read the book, that is what the test is all about. Highly recommended.
Awesome teacher. Really laid back, tells a lot of personal stories to help relate the material. Not a hard class if you've taken any sort of health class in your life. Don't bother buying the book, the course manual has summaries that help more than the book anyway. Easy A or B, and one of the best teachers I've had here.
Prof. Peterson is awesome. I've heard some people think her tests are hard, but I get As on them. I just read the chapter for class, listen to her powerpoints, and read the outlines in the supplemental manual the night before tests. The annoying stuff is the UREC hours and passports. But I did my passports the first two weeks in the class. TAKE HER
If you're going to take hth 100, take her. She's nice, and not too boring during class. Tests can be difficult, I studied for each of them and have only gotten B's, but overall she's a great teacher.
Knowledgable woman, pretty straight forward class with 4 multi-choice tests. Take her.
Very nice lady. Lectures most of the time and has a good amount of tests: Not too much material on each one. However, they are pretty detailed. If you don't study, you won't do very well.
Do not take this professor if you are looking for a good grade. I went to every single class, took copious notes, read the chapters before every test, and completed every assignment and i still couldnt manage to make it above a C! I am normally an A-B student and this was my lowest grade out of every class.
Peterson was really nice and very clear. She gives good examples. Just keep up with the book and the notes and it's such an easy A.
shes an okay teacher...she lectures a lot and can be kind of boring, but doesn't have an attendance policy. her tests are hard though, so you have to study and read the book in order to do well. but shes pretty nice, so i would suggest taking her, but don't think its an easy class
You know that book they make you buy because it has the passports in the back? USE IT! I went to class most of the time, but that book helped me earn A's on nearly every test. You can't sell it back so go ahead and highlight away; it's basically an outline of the entire course with all the important stuff picked out for you!
I'm a nursing major, and I took human anatomy during this course! I took this class to boost my GPA and it did NOT WORK! I still got a B.. but its health you learn in 9th grade. STUDY for the tests and youll be fine
Ok teacher, just reads off the powerpoints- some of the information is interesting...don't go in expecting to get an A. The tests are tricky- the averages have been around 75-80 for the tests we've taken so far.
she's awesome!
This woman sucks. She is not nice. Kicks people out of class because they look at the clock in class. She is so boring and is not funny what so ever. She puts at least 5 questions on her test you won't know the answer no matter what. Hard to get an A if you don't study a lot.
She is quite a character! I really enjoyed having her, and yes, her tests will be difficult. 75 multiple choice and 25 true/false. But her class was never really that boring. She randomly gives extra credit for attending classes, so you might as well go. I would tell others to take her, you'll just need to study and do UREC hours.
This woman is AMAZING!!!!! Study (not a whole lot) and you'll do just fine an A is nowhere near impossible
Connie is a helpful teacher but she can get mad if you don't take her class seriously
This is such an easy class and she is such a good teacher! Never takes attendance and she puts all the notes on blackboard so you dont really even have to go to class. She has a lot of energy and takes her job very seriously. Just print out your notes and listen to her in class and you have an easy A
I had one encounter with this professor and I immediately switched. Shes not nice and shes over dramatic.
Do not take her at all, she is very rude and not accommodating whatsoever. I would highly recommend taking this class with someone else.
I couldn't believe someone would leave a bad review about her. I thoroughly enjoyed her as well as the class in general. If you actually put effort into the class and study for the exams, an A is 100% achievable. Dr. P is funny and clearly cares about her students. I loved her.
