I have not rated any professor higher than 4. Dr. Wu is one of the professors earning my highest rate. I was absent for one in-class test then rescheduled to retake the test for FOUR times because my time conflicts. Dr. Wu was so patient to me and helped me to retake the test. I got B finally but appreciate his help.

I was required to take this course by my department but Dr. Wu provided many useful feedbacks on my assignment and projects and he taught social science models in an easy way.

He is a good professor and I learned so much from his final project.

I am taking Dr. Wu's online course, GEO2210. He provides prompt and useful comments on my assignments. I am 67 years old and do not know much computer knowledge, he showed me how to start and complete the assignments. I very appreciate that. We had so much fun in the class and he invited some guest speakers to learn Chinese culture. He also made full use of Canvas to let me learned outside the classroom. More important, Dr. Wu was there when I needed help.

His classes are interesting and informative and he cared about what we are learning. For example, he invited a professor of anthropology to introduce the early life and culture of Native America.

Dr. Wu cared what I had learned. His course design helped me to learn efficiently. For example, he asked us to design ppt slides to present physical, historical, economic, cultural aspects of my selected country and critique the ppt slides of my classmates. I learned many lessons by completing this assignment.

Wu's class was organized. More importantly, he replied my questions via email quickly, even over the weekend or midnight. This support is importnat for me.

Dr. Wu provided quick support to me and his materials were clear and organized. I learned much from his course. He was very nice!

The course is based entirely on the textbook. 4 inclass tests with multiple choice. He grades quickly and gives feedback in the class. Final is a 3 page multiple choice exam.

Dr. Connor made this course easy to understand. You need to create and design a website to present what you had learned at the end of semester. No worry cause he would provide a lot of support to help you finish the website. I learned a lot from other folks too.

The computers were often slow, this made the ArcGIS app a little difficult to use.

Wu is very knowledgeable about GIS. Lab assignments are interesting and you can easily apply skills to your major or even work. I am a part-time school bus driver, I am now applying the GIS skills I learned in planning the routes! I never believed I could do this before taking this course.

Dr. Wu hosted a very interesting webinar in the term. I never really knew about GIS until I took his class. Hearing about the different majors and minors and getting information from Dr. Joseph K about GIS and how it plays a big part in our everyday life has really made me want to look into GIS.

Professor Wu has been my favorite professor at Troy so far. He is very passionate about what he teaches, and he really wants his students to succeed and find their passion.

Had Dr. Wu for Physical Geography and Spatial Database Design in a term class. He is a great professor and if you do your work and put in effort it is not hard to get an A. My favorite professor at Troy by far.

His course is good, he is professional, he provided much support and additional information beyond the textbook. The reason I didn't provide the highest grade for his course because he rejected to grade my submissions the next day after the course ended. I understand it but it would be best if he accepted them.

The textbook used an older version of ArcGIS Pro, it would be better the adopted book with the up-to-date software. However, Dr. Wu provided the videos with the most recent pro. They are very useful. I don't think this course needs other improvements.

He provided demo videos which were very useful for me. Maybe provide additional videos that includes common issues during ArcGIS Pro labs. Its easy for me to make a small mistake that isnt easily identifiable through ArcGIS Pro so I end up spending a lot of time on the Lab.

Dr. Connor is the best professor I have met at Troy. He provided webinars and virtual meetings. I was unable to attend the webinars he hosted for online students because of conflicts. I did attend one of the company visits via zoom and I found it gave great insight into where the data we use comes from.

I am a Social Sciences students who had little idea about any IT technologies. I took Dr. Wu's GIS course because my friend said he is the one who knows what he is teaching. Actually, I am enjoying learning GIS in his class. He showed us up-to-dated knowledge out of the textbook and invited experts to present their projects.
