He is a good one. He help students a lot. He does not pass you but he helps you pass. He knows what he is teaching. He is kind of cool

I finally found a math teacher to help me understand math

I can tell he is a nice teacher. Before the final more than half of the students passed. He helped students a lot. He is always available to students

I am taking a class now with the teacher. The semester just started. No No No, he is not the guy some people described before me. He is a nice guy. We need 501 points to pass he already gave us 75 free points for attendance and homework. He gives extra credit and my first test was really fair.Do not pass does not mean teacher's fault

This teacher is really helful. Points for attendance, points for homework, take-home exam, extra credit. A lot of exercises on board.

He helped a lot. He practiced a lot. He answered all questions. He knows what he is doing. I have no problem to recommend him to any body

Professor Arne is a good professor. One of his good quality is that he is really patient. He wants everybody to pass. He gives us a lot of possibilities. A lot of extra credit.

A lot of extra credit. Attendence not mandatory: good for me, working. I like him. I will take him for any math class he teaches.

He cannot be better. His accent is not really a problem.

His exam is 100 percent the same as his review (just different numbers)

Nice guy, I only showed up for half the classes and got an A+ but math is my subject, I was hungover during the placement test. He is the lab head so if you ever need anything he is easy to find and will help you. He has a heavy accent so listen close and he messes up and erases alot. Doesn take attendance but lab is a must. Id recommend him :-)

I recommend him to every body. He is easy, attendance is not mandatory. He gives extra credit a lot. His accent is not a problem.

Very strict with all policies such as attendance,tardies and lab hours. Requieres 2 hours of lab per week and he did not allow for me to make up an hour that i missed. States" I will give no extra points to helpyou pass" You better work youre butt off to pass his class.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! he gives too much homework and he's late to class everyday and complain's if we're late! and too many test/lab quizes/and his own quiz..hes very helpful but not easy on the labor

I had him this semester. I will take him again next semester for MAT 0024. I learned so much with him. He is the kind of teacher who wants everybody to learn. Extra credit for attendance. Extra credit for lab. He helps a lot to pass.

He his a good guy. He cares about students. Very hepful. Always ask for questions. Works around to make sure every we all understand.

This is my second math course with him. I which I could find someone like him for my next math course. I recommend him to who want to learn. Not afraid of questions. Extra credit. If you try he will never let you down. Strict. Accent does not matter.

It is fair to say he is a good teacher. He gave us 10 quizzes and take the best 5. He allows us to retake failed tests if you do good in the next one. He said what will be in the test.

One of the best Professors I've had in a while. Had him for an online class but he helped me as if I'd approached him after class. Tests aren't too hard, there's extra credit and he allows you to hand work in late for credit. He's agreat teacher, I recommend him!

This professor makes math EASY! He is a great teacher and is very patient! He requires you to do your homework and show the work in a binder, which was very helpful for me since it made me practice the work. He has a strong French accent, but it dosn't take long to get used too. Im definately taking this teacher for my next math class!

I see all these bad comments and i dont know why. He is a really fair teacher. You just have to attand class and do the homework! 6 tests, couple of small quizes, no final or midterm! I think he is good and i had worse teacher than him! :) Oh and trust me im not that good in math and i got an A! :)))

Take him. He help me a lot with my online class. Respond to all my emails. Use live classroom to help us understand difficult topics. Very calm. Always find the best explanation for you

I took this class online. For an online Math class it was pretty easy. He's a great teacher! He's very clear from the beginning of whats expected throughout the semester and as long as you follow that, it's an easy A.

Took him for two classes extremely easy and helpful a lot of homework but I can truly Say for once in my life I learned test are right from notes gives a great review dont miss and you'll get an A on the test. He has an accent but you will get used to it. He dumbs Everything down for those who are bad at math love him!

Good teacher. Gave everyone a lot of chances and ability to raise their grades through extra credit. Only con is that you are punished for algebra mistakes, even though he makes some as well.

A very good teacher. Has a light personality that adapts nicely with the class. His accent is a little heavy, but you get used to it in a couple days. The homework assignments are relatively easy, and his teaching style is very understandable. This quizzes/tests are exactly as the lessons. I would easily recommend him to anyone. :)

MAC1140 - he is really good. He gives extra credit he's really helpful. He's also in charge of LRC so he's always there to help. I have his book in like new condition. Email if interested [email protected]

Teaches what you need to learn. Very simple and not confusing. If you are confused he will take the time to explain and if he sees you do not understand he will tell you to see him after class or the math lab.

Knowledgeable but not always clear because of his French accent. He gives plenty of extra credit. One flaw htat he has is that he is no math whiz. He needs to break the work down near its simplest from to solve (Good or Bad depending on your learning style). Overall he is very helpful teacher that is concern about the productivity of his students.

he is really helpful and easy. all his quizes are online and you take them at home. all the tests are in the computer lab, and everything is multiple choice, he gives a lot of extra credit, and helps out a lot i also had him for MAC1114 and its just the same. if you don't pass any of his classes then there's something wrong with you

His tests are very simple, he'll take the exercises from the book. Just pay attention to what he says in class.

math is the subject im worse in and i went into college algebra not knowing a thing. as long as you pay attention and do the homework the quizzes and tests wont be so hard

This is one of those professors you learn to love. He's very strict, has a dry humor, and is very professional. Don't use your phone in class. Show respect and receive respect. The beg. can seem scary but he is a very thorough and knowledgeable prof and is always there to help. The lab hrs help a great deal keeping on track. Take him to learn!

He's a good prof and lectures very well. Class is very easy because the quizzes, tests, and hw are practically the same questions. Only issue is the mandatory lab hours. It's pointless doing 2 hours when you understand the material. Other than that, he's good if you respect him.

He is a good professor; he ensures that you get what he is talking about. He has graded and ungraded homework, but if you do the ungraded homework, the graded homework and tests become really easy. The worst part about this class is the mandatory labs; 2 hours per week is a waste of time. You don't learn much from it.

SO MUCH WORK but it is essential to build the building blocks before continuing onto Calc or statistics. Take his class and you will learn a lot! He is ALWAYS in the math lab if you ever need help. I would recommend him to anyone taking college algebra.

Professor Arne is a great professor, in my opinion. As long as you study and get your assignments done, you'll pass the class. He is always available to help with any questions you have!

For MAC1105, I had to go to the math Lab in the library and find 2 hours to waste there and do an assignment. This is every week. For people who have a busy schedule, beware. Other than that, he's a helpful teacher, although sometimes unclear. He's not a strict teacher and attendance isn't mandatory.

Arne is a great teacher if you let him do his thing. Attendance is mandatory and he is very strict in his class. His lectures are very clear, all you have to do is write what he writes on the board. He requires that you go to the math lab to do your homework/quizzes. Homework isn't graded. The quizzes are worth 40% but you can get help in the lab.

Mr. Arne was a tough Professor, however, he gives quite a bit of extra credit. He also really cares about his students and wants them to do well overall. You'll pass his class once you put in the work.

I actually like Arne's class. He has an accent but you can pass that. He will give examples and if you do your HW and tell what you had a problem he will teach it to the class. Just ask questions and don't play around because he can be serious. His quizzes and tests are multiple choices. Just go to study in the math lab and do the reviews.

Teaches you everything clearly, you can ask as many questions as you want. Basically the perfect class. I'm just a little mad at him for not having another math class I can take.
