ENT 101 taught by Corbin is THE best and THE most valuable class you could ever take at BYU. I have learned more applicable life lessons and material than in any other class at BYU. THis class has the potential to change the trajectory of your life.

Corbin's class will forever change your perspective on entrepreneurship and life in general. He is an amazing, high-energy guy who does everything possible to teach you how to be a successful entrepreneur. TAKE THIS CLASS FROM HIM!

This was a really fantastic class! Corbin genuinely cares and wants to help you start a business. This is not a class where you just sit in lectures and forget knowledge as soon as it's over. Awesome teacher! Corbin's a guy who's actually built and run businesses. He knows his stuff. Great perspective and a lot of fun. The assignments are to listen to entrepreneurial podcasts, read from the Nail It, Scale It book, interview 3 entrepreneurs, and create a business idea and seek strangers' opinions on the idea (group work).

Best professor at BYU. What you learn in this class are skills you will remember for the rest of your life. He cares for us and our future success. There are also entrepreuneurs that Corbin has connections with and they come to class weekly, and some of these guests are those who have 9 digit net worths. You don't want to miss this class.

Corbin cares about you. This class taught me more about myself and what I can achieve. Corbin is real and will help you pursue your ideas. He says there isn't any assignments but you definitely have readings, quizzes, and podcasts you have to listen to. It doesn't take a ton of time but I would say 30 minutes of work outside the class.

Brother Church is so funny and he cares about his students. He cares more about learning than just a letter grade, and he shows it. He brings the real world into his class, and helps his students change their mindsets to believe that they can be successful. His lectures are inspirational and he knows how to make everyone laugh!

Corbin has changed my life. Coming to the USA from Australia this year, I thought I wanted to be a nurse. Then, I ran into some mental struggles and became unsure of where I wanted to be in life. best class i've taken so far. is very clear about what you need to do and is very reasonable. everything we did in class was applicable in real life setting and none of it was busy work. super interesting and beneficial class.

What's cool about this class is that he will open your eyes to a lot of parts of business and he literally teaches you how to make money rather than teaching you as most professors do by reading one chapter ahead of you in the textbook. Don't take it for an easy A but take it knowing that you will get out of it what you put in.

If there is one class 4 years from now I'll rave about, it's this one. Brother Church within the first week of classes, lit this fire inside of me that is constantly pushing me to get out of my comfort zone. You will get out of this class what you are willing to put in. Brother Church is super entertaining and brings in fantastic guest speakers.

Brother Church is so special. He is so real with you. He will tell you what other professors won't. Even though we are at college, life isn't just academia! It's about grit, scrappiness, working hard, trusting God, giving to others, getting out of your comfort zone, following your dreams, and so much more. You will be inspired every day of class.

An amazing professor who ACTUALLY cares about what we learn and not just about a grade or his reputation. Brings in amazing people to learn from like the CEO of JetBlue (!!). His class isn't hard to get a good grade in but is so enriching and you will learn so much.

Incredibly inspirational, funny, intelligent, and deeply converted to the gospel. He is a fountain of wisdom and inspired me to do my major. If you show up and do the (easy) assignments you will get an A. This class taught me so much about learning to run a business AND so much about life in general. There are a lot of cool skills and insights you can get from this class even if you don't want to run a business. If there's one class you HAVE to take at BYU, it's this one. I LOVED IT.

This professor is AMAZING. Do not Leave BYU without taking this class, it might just change your life. He cares about his students, and you'll get an A if you come to class. Does dock you 2% for every day that you skip class though. But that's the only real grades you get. Weekly Homework is 2 50min podcasts and a chapter of reading.

I think that Corbin is awesome. Make sure that you get the assignments in on time and that you attend class and FILL OUT THE ATTENDANCE SHEETS. It is very attendance heavy and they don't give any credit for late work. Other than that, fairly easy fun class. Also, get a good group for the group project - make sure they hold up the end of their deal.

Even if you're not interested in entrepreneurship, take the class because what he teaches is so applicable. Honestly this stuff should be mandatory and not all the random GEs.

I loved the very entry-level information we received as it helped me to create a foundation for my understanding and allows me to build from there. Professor Church helps students to see that they can be entrepreneurs and how, and offers the opportunity of having his mentorship.

Some of them had really good insights into marketing and benefits of corporate taxes. Others just showed up with a gold chain to tell you to do summer sales. Overall I highly recommend.

Bro Church is clear and very straight forward. His classes were structured to include take aways, material, interviews, and application activities. Professor Church has a nontraditional class that focuses on lessons that are functional for real life. He is very passionate about entrepreneurship & helping students be prepared for life after graduation.

Corbin is the best professor at BYU and this class has taught me principles that I will take with me for the rest of my life. This is not a class where you cram study for the final exam and then forget the material as soon as the class is over. In terms of difficulty, it's easy to get an A, but Corbin's ungraded homework assignments are worth it!

This is the best class I have by far taken at BYU. If you are looking for an easy A in a class take this one, and you will end up finding out a lot more about yourself and you will end up loving this class. It is the first class I have ever had that i have been excited to show up for.

In this class you ideate a business, validate it in a group, read the book Nail it Then Scale It, interview three entrepreneurs yourself, and get to hear from different entrepreneurs every week in class. This class is easy but has a ton of potential if you don't care as much about your grade as you do learning.

Corbin is the Goat of Goats this man will drop facts you just have to be smart enough to put your phone away, listen, and then act on what he says. There will be graded assignments but pay attention to the assignments which aren't graded those are the ones that will lead you to be successful in life.

Corbin is the best. All of the assignments were inspiring and gave us increased information on how to start our own company, I especially loved the lectures on wealth as well as his guest speakers Casey Baugh, Case Lawrence and Amy Rees Anderson. They were phenomenal. Corbin really knows how to make you feel pumped up to be an entrepreneur.

He is good at helping you get out of your comfort zone. It's a huge class with about 370 students. The end of the semester project, you have to go out and talk to strangers to help validate your product. So if doing that heightens your anxiety or makes you uncomfortable, this might not be the class for you. However, it is an easy A.

BEST MENTOR! It was the easiest class of my life and one I learned the most from. He's not forcing work and huge tests on you, but he is there to help you gain entrepreneurial traits that you will use for the rest of your life!

If you have experience in the business field, things taught in class may come as common-knowledge to you. Mr. Church can be passive-aggressive with his comments, but he does with an intention to help us succeed. Mr. Church can be a bit attached with his ratings; It was common to hear TA's asking us to rate him highly, which was a bit concerning.

His class was definitely easy but very bro-ish. My sister and I found ourselves rolling our eyes a lot in his class, but Corbin is very passionate. Would 100% recommend if you're a business major and need an easy 3 credit class, but don't take it unless it helps you graduate, as it can be a SLIGHT waste of time.
