You have to take Prof White for Goverment. She will get you interested in the workings of goverment. Lots of extra credit given. GREAT Professor. Really shows you that TCC gets great quality young professors.

I took her 8 week course. She is a unique individual and a government geek. I had fun in her class and she gave lots of extra credit. We wrote one paper, had 5 hw assignments and 2 tests. You will be writing a lot of notes with no visual aides but she will repeat what she says several times so you can keep up.

Easy class. She loves what she teaches and her class is really interesting. She gives tons of extra credit and does reviews for midterm and final. She is really sweet and will help you with anything you need. Definitely recommend.

Professor White is a great professor. If you hate government after her government course I doubt you would have the same opinion about gov. Make sure you attend every class session. You do need your textbook to review over the chapters to know whats going on in class Easy A in this class someone dumb and irresponsible would fail her class.

Great class! Not many assignments, and you can make an A-B without using the book. She is a very helpful and understanding teacher! The tests aren't very difficult if you review your notes.

White is great and extremely clear. I missed an assignment, but she offers a TON of extra credit so I'm not worried. Plus, the extra credit actually helps you understand processes in government. She really, really wants her students to learn. It's hard not to learn in this class. She really interacts with her students, also. Professional, but fun!!

Great instructor! Lots of EC, notes and hard work! Don't take this class if you're looking for an easy A! She's passionate about government and likes her students to be informed. DO NOT quote FOX or CNN in this class! Look at her reputable media companion guide! Use the book and her notes for studying!

She has a sense of humor and likes to draw her students into the lectures. Take good notes, read the chapters, and give good responses on her assnmts, and you should do well. Her class is not an easy 'A', but I got an A and did not touch her extra credit assnmts much. US Govt is not easy due to the amount of material, but Ms White does a great job.

Ms. White conducts a very organized class. This class is engaging and makes GOV interesting. This IS an EASY A if you take notes and complete assignments! A lot of extra credit is offered. She is always on time, free of disruptions and expects the same in return. NO PHONE USAGE allowed! GREAT CLASS!!!

Mrs. White will memorize your first name within the first couple weeks of class! She is highly intelligent and only expects you to show up and pay attention. If you take good notes, come to class, and utilize her office hours, you are guaranteed to pass and moreso, you will actually learn something and get your money's worth!

She is an amazing professor! If you can take her do it! She makes Government fun and gives off examples that you can understand. I hated Gov. before this class now I am all pumped to make a difference. I wish I had found her earlier on in my college career. My advice to you is NO CELL PHONES and ATTEND Class and you will get an A!

Great teacher. Lots of class discussions which make federal government interesting. TONS of extra credit offered. She has 5 homework assignments throughout the semester that are super easy. EASY A if you put forth some effort.

Ms. White is an excellent teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed both of the Government classes that she teaches. She is a fairly easy grader and if you take notespay attention in class then the tests will be an absolute breeze. She always takes time to assist students in and out of class, while also giving tons of extra credit opportunities.

Make sure to read the long chapters of the book. Her lectures are not like the test it's mainly on her lectures and the BOOK. Does not give reviews. Gives extra credit not too hard. 4 Assignments 7-10 questions

Great Teacher, very easy. 4 assignments consisting of reading and answering questions, easy 100%. 4 exams 35 multiple choice from notes. Very easy questions but need to attend class to get her notes. Professor White was hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. Lots of notes, and 95% of those notes are on the test. So make sure and take good notes. Her lectures are what makes you think, which is what I loved most. A+++++

She's likable, knowledgeable, and answers questions. I think she's a great teacher. Government isn't even a subject that usually interests me, but somehow she made it interesting. As long as you pay attention in class and do the work you should be fine.

Tests are surprisingly easy if you read and go over notes you took in class. Her lectures feel like a conversation however somehow you end up with all the info you need to do well on assignments. She's laidback and funny.

I took her for 8-week Fed. You won't need the book. 4 exams (typically over 3 chapters in the "book" - really, just take lecture notes) and 4 document analyses. Put a little bit of effort in studying for exams/completing DAs and you'll do great. Incredible lectures, genuine personality, and she cares about her students. Class always ends early.

I took her for an 8week course theres 4 homework assignments and 4 exams. Everything she tells you in class in important, but she makes class fun. She really enjoys this subject. She's not mean but DO NOT use your phone in class. I didn't miss a day so i can say that class was never boring she really like to discuss and debate the materiel.

Ms. White was recommended to me by a fellow student and I'm so glad I took their advice. She provides opportunities for extra credit and her lectures are thought-provoking and thoroughly enjoyable. I will be taking her Texas Government course in the fall.

Professor White is amazing!! Her lectures are very intresting, but you have to attend class to kno what is going on. Does not use powerpoints so you have to write down everything she says pretty much. There are 4 test, and 4 daily work assingments. Daily work assignment are super easy just do them. Test are easy but might have to study a bit.

She's a really good professor. She says there is required texts but you can go without it and save money. Go to class, take notes, study notes and you will do good on exams. Offers extra credit. Just gives exams and 4 other essay like assignments but it is just reading an article and answering questions.

Don't use your phone in class, ever. Really nice and open to discussion. Really tries to not force her opinion on anyone. States the facts and leaves the rest to you. If you take good notes you'll do fine.

Mrs. white is amazing, shes very lenient when it comes to grading the assignments. I didnt know anything about government and when I began the class but by the end i learned a quite bit. All you have to do is take notes and study them and youll be fine. Overall I received a B in the class.

Had Professor White for my Summer 1 Govt Class and it was a really good experience. I would definitely take her again. All you need is to show up, take good notes, do the work assignments and study and its an easy A. Professor White is one of the best professors Ive had. Take her you will not regret it.

Took Ms. White for both 2305 & 2306. I throughly enjoyed both classes. She made the lectures engaging and relatable to current governmental issues. Ive not only learned but retained so much of the material throughout the 2 classes. She follows the textbook and gives plenty of extra credit. I got an A in both classes. Professed White is def one of my favorite instructors to date. She keeps the lectures upbeat and related to our lives. Its a very interactive class. Its a class that really makes your think and is one of the main reason im pursuing political science. Just try not to miss class, like foreal.

Professor White was the highlight of my semester. I typically hate history/government classes, but she made class enjoyable! Her tests are directly from lecture so it's important to show up to class.

Had her during the pandemic so it was all online but she made it sooo easy! Honestly one of the best teachers Ive had, I feel like she understood that times are tough right now. Also loved the way she would email us like she actually cared when speaking to us lol, take her if your deciding on a teacher!

first of all let me say she is very caring and knows her history.I had her during covid. her class is not an easy A you definitley have to work for your grade but she's not a heavy grader if that makes. Theres alot of paper and researching you have to do in her course which can be exhausted. Theres also tons of extra credit.I would recommend her!

Took her Federal Governments class online , it is definitely an easy A if you follow directions and turn assignments in on time. Gives great feedback, and grades are always available to you shortly after submitting your assignment. Answers emails in a fast and timely manner, would definitely recommend this governments teachers .

She actually likes teaching the subject. Classes are planed in a way that it is not overwhelming, with many extra credit opportunities. She uses very clear examples which makes learning the concepts easier. You will definitely leave with a better understanding of how the government works. Beware she is strict with due dates.

This professor teaches all the material in a clear easy to understand format. Everything in lectures will be in the exams so it makes it very easy to study for the tests.

Her lectures were good and insightful and she really makes an effort to connect with her students. With that being said, attendance is paramount, almost everything on the test will be things she mentioned in the lectures so it would be smart to make a friend in class that can send you the notes in case you have to miss for any reason.

Was good, lectures got long, but she would walk around the room while speaking so it kept your attention. No textbook. Final online, freaks if you pull your phone out.

Awesome summer class and easy to learn! A quiz and discussion board each week/lesson and she's very helpful if help is needed. A few extra credit assignments are available which is appreciated! Though it was a short semester, I learned a lot of new things.

Best professor ever. She had great lectures and even though it was a lot she made sure everyone got everything down. Everything in the lecture was notes and the test answers were all in the notes. There are only exams, no quizzes or hw assignments. She'll give out some extra credit assignments tho. The only thing you need to do is attend her lectures and take good notes. everything she writes on the board is important. occasionally she'll crack a dad joke to make ppl laugh, so be prepared for those. She has to be one of my fav prof @ trinity

AMAZING PROFESSOR! Must come to class to hear lectures. No PP for the lectures but will write on the board what you need to know for exams. I took the 8 week class, first online class but professor White made it easy to follow. 7 Quizzes and 7 Discussion Boards. If you follow the instructions and submit work on-time you'll be good. I enjoyed her class very much. The only thing about her assignments is that they are all discussion boards with a 300-word minimum, and you have to reply to two other people with 100-word responses. Other than that, her class is easy, and she is a great teacher.
