A very frustrating professor. He only put in 5 grades throughout this semester including midterm and final. He can be quite condescending which I believe pushed a lot of students away from participating. No rubric for our singular group project either which made it very confusing. Nearly a third of the students dropped the class.

This professor is by far the worst professors at Wake Tech. I am a A/B student and i dont really have problems with courses. I go in and do the work and leave. Yes classes are difficult but i still make it work and get by. But this professor makes such an easy course extremely hard. At least 50% of students failed. Even the smart students failed.

He does nothing but lecture the entire class period but his lectures aren't cohesive, they are extremely hard to follow and all over the place. He also has so many verbal pauses its hard to actually focus on what he's saying because he says "right" and "can everybody see that?" SO often its distracting. There are also only like 3 graded things.

Easily one of the best professors I've ever had. Passionate about philosophy and a mammoth intellectual. He always took the time to speak with me during office hours. I left his class with an entirely new perspective on life and my own personal beliefs. His writing and artwork outside of the classroom are nothing to scoff at either. Don't miss out!

Puts in no grades, and also wants you to speak in class as it is going to be your participation grade, but no matter what you say it will be wrong.

This professor is extremely difficult and expects a lot from students. The workload is difficult, with a lot of reading and unclear class discussions expected every week. The class is mostly graded by a few major assignments, and clear instructions aren't always given. You'll need to be self-motivated and very determined to succeed.

This professor is extremely difficult. There are no small weekly assignments, your entire grade depends on a few major papers and exams. Instructions are often unclear, and the professor rarely responds to emails when you have questions. Be prepared to work independently, read a lot, and figure things out on your own.

If you are ready to read a lot, not understand anything, and get more confusing instructions, then this is your class! He is passionate about philosophy, but he is not good for an introduction class. If you plan to withdraw, don't wait until the midterm grade because he purposely posts the grade after the withdrawal deadline.

He is condescending and treats his students like they're complete fools for not knowing the right answer. If you don't talk, he will not be happy but the majority of time, the answers you give aren't right. We were berated on numerous occasions. The way he gives his lectures is extremely unhelpful. Avoid his class at all costs.

he thought we used AI on the group project and didn't explain how. the project was to make a video talking about how the movie we picked related to what we were learning in class. so how did the video have AI? horrible and close minded. didn't bother with you if he disagreed with you or answered one question and would move on.

I have never experienced a professor like this before. So rude and VERY particular about lockdown browser. Would not explain anything. I had to withdraw from the class because I was not going to pass because of the number of zeros he gave me.

You get four grades in total not counting participation; a group project, lab, midterm, & the final. Submits grades months late, & thought that we used AI on the (paper) lab. Participation is everything but if you ask a Q, he acts upset. He comes in already mad. Says that nothing is 'right' in ethics but gets angry if you think of topics different.

1/10. Your grade is made up of only a few quizzes/tests so if you don't do well on those you're done for. The recorded lectures were vague so I taught myself most of the material from YouTube. A webcam and lockdown browser were required for most assignments. Also, you could get a zero on an assignment if you didn't do an environment check. Beware!
