He is a amazing professor. Very helpful. He teaches very well. But, you have to do the study guides to get ready for quizes and exams. You should take A&P class with this professor.

Dr. Sullivan provides clear, concise lectures and study guides. You do need to do the work (especially the study guide) and come to class (there is a daily quizz) but he is willing to help you and he is good about responding to emails.

Great class. Expect a quiz before each class. That was quite helpful to me, as I was forced to stay on top of the course material. It is a lot of work, but as a future professional, it was well worth it.

Mr. Sullivan is very helpful and knowledgeable about science. He is very easy to look at :) He gives you everything you need to study and as long as you do the quizes and pretests you will have no problem on the tests.

As a pre-nursing student; I LOVED this class. It wasn't an easy A but it is definitely obtainable. Do the work book that goes with the text book, memorize the answers to the quizzes and old tests. A lot of this class is memory! 8+ hours of study per week.

If you need to take this class take it with Sullivan. I took online with lab. The BEST thing I have EVER done in my college career. I HIGHLY recommend this professor for physiology. He makes it VERY clear what needs to be done. Units 2 weeks long, 3 chapters, 3 quizzes(not timed) 3 labs(easy) 1 unit test with review test before. USE SULLIVAN!!!!

This was a great class, be prepared to put in time to study. I wouldn't say that it is an easy A, but if you study and pay attention, it is possible. He was always helpful and answered any questions we had. Grading was fair, and test scores were updated very quickly. I definitely recommend this course.

Sullivan was more reserved and respectful. He teaches mainly by reading slides off of a projector while switching to illustrations for explanations. He was very clear about his expectations and locks his doors the minute class starts, so be on time. He is a fair grader and he will help if you need it. I would recommend him!

Dr. Sullivan moves quickly and precisely through all of the material. Pay attention, read the slides, and come to class. He'll drop hints on what to study. He's not trying to trick you,but makes you accountable to know all of the material. Put in the effort,and you can earn an A.

Good teacher, very fast class.

Here's the deal - online class - incredibly organized which helps SO MUCH. Quizzes are 20 Q's, too many in my opinion BUT helps for test preparation. Labs are cool, lecture videos are the best thing EVER for an online class. The class itself is very challenging - read, study, print out practice exams and quizzes, put in the time and effort.

open book/note quizzes and final. Only unit exams are taken in testing center. If you watch lectures and print notes, this class is an easy A. LOTS of extra credit (6pts extra per exam). Gives individual feedback and is usually quick to respond to questions.

This was an online course. Learning/understanding the material was on your own. Nonetheless, Corey Sullivan provids great PowerPoints & video lectures. Physiology is no easy subject; however, watch the videos, take notes and study then you will get a good grade. Book is somewhat optional. 95% materials come from PowerPoint. Best online teacher.

Taking the online version of A&P sounded like one of the worst decisions, but after the first class, which was just going over the syllabus and the expectations for the class, I instantly was way more comfortable. Although early in the class I didn't put in the effort necessary, I am flirting w/ an A with one test to go. Fantastic professor. 10/10

He is very organized, and easy to keep track of class projects. Hyper class has online lectures and homework. We take the lab and lecture exams when we meet. Prep materials are very good in detail and if you study you will get a grade you want.

Professor Sullivan has been one of my all-time favorite teachers!! He is very personable and cares about his students and gets us very prepared for each lab and lecture exam with his lectures online and lab study guides and practice exams. I wish I could take another of his classes and will miss being in his class.

This was the best physiology experience I could have asked for. Its incredibly clear what you need to know for each of the 7 exams. There are 3 labs (some online, some in class) and 3 online open-book, untimed quizzes per unit. The ppts are online and so are video lectures in case you miss class but showing up for face to face lecture helps too.

Truly an amazing human anatomy and physiology professor, which is so rare. He gives out as much extra credit as he can. This is my second time taking this class, and I had a lot of anxiety taking it again, but Professor Sullivan truly made it the best experience it could be. Don't skim over any lectures, and don't procrastinate.

Dr. Sullivan's online course was awesome! His online lectures are great! everything you need to know are on his PowerPoints. Don't need the book unless you want it. Some questions from quizzes and practice tests for that unit will be on the test. It is physiology so you still have to put in your time and effort for that A.

He is a good teacher will help you if you need it, His quizzes for his online classes do take a long time, you have to really read between the lines to find some answers. This test are okay you need to look at his quizzes and know why each answer does not work.

I took this class online and really enjoyed it! He is veryyy well organized and is very consistent with how the class is set up. He is willing to help you and goes out of his way to congratulate you when youve done well on a test. You have to take a lot of notes & watch the lecture videos in order to succeed, but if I can do it anyone can.

He is a great teacher. There are 7 units each with 3 chapter quizzes, 3 online labs, and one exam in the testing center. His lecture videos are really good and he goes over everything we have to know for the tests. Human physiology isn't the easiest class and you do have to invest some time in watching the videos, but he made it manageable.

Great teacher! I took the class online and he makes detailed videos for every chapter. 7 units and a final. Three quizzes and three labs for each unit. The test were taken at the testing center, but he supplies a practice test that is similar so you have an idea of what to study. Philology is tough not matter what but he does a great job!

He's a great teacher! The lectures can be a bit boring since he's mostly reading off of the slides, but as long as you pay attention and do all of your quizzes and labs you should pass. He has his lectures up for both his online and in person classes and it helps a lot when you're studying for his tests!

Amazing lectures. Yes they are detailed. YES this is a difficult course! Sullivan gives you what you need to succeed if you put in the effort. He explains what he's going over in power points so listen and take notes! Study: study guides, quizzes, practice exams. He gives opps for extra credit every exam, open book final. Awesome teacher to take this class with. He's funny and very thorough with lectures! He makes his online lectures available to the on campus classes as well. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you may lose out on a few points for in class lab or assignments.

Physiology is going to be a tough class wherever you take it. Professor Sullivan breaks things down and will gladly answer any questions you have in this class. He gives lots of opportunities to improve your grade like extra credit points on tests and in class assignments.

I took online human physiology through professor Corey Sullivan, this course is mainly watching lecture videos and studying from the criteria that he gives us in order to succeed in his class.

Professor Sullivan is awesome! Keep in mind this is a Human Physiology course, so the material itself is tough. That being said, I couldn't think of a better way for it to be taught! His lectures are amazing, and as long as you REALLY pay attention and take good notes (seriously) you will excel in this course. The structure of the course is perfect

I loved this class three quizzes and three labs every two weeks with a test at the end of it. You have to watch the lectures and take good notes to be successful on the tests.

Informative, easy to follow lectures with plenty of extra credit opportunities. Stay on top of things in this class and you will no doubt do well.

I took his course online, which made me a bit scared. He has lecture videos he uploads as well as the power points, which made studying for the quizzes and exams so much easier. It's a lot of material to remember for each unit (3 chapters per unit), but overall if you study ahead of time you will be perfectly fine!

Best physiology professor at JCCC! If you get an opportunity to take his class I would. He is very clear on what the course objectives are and his quizzes are open book and exams are basically the same as the practice exam! His lectures and notes outline everything that is on the exam so no need to really read the book.

I am so glad I got a spot in Corey Sullivan's Human Physiology class this summer! He is extremely organized, gives you all the tools you need to succeed, and truly wants the best for all of his students. He praises you when you perform well and offers constructive feedback when you fall short. I would 100% recommend him for this course!

This was my second time taking this class. I took it last semester on campus and barely passed, but with Professor Sullivan everything was much more clear on what we needed to know. Quizzes are open book and has practice exams. Very well organized teacher. I would definitely recommend him for anyone needing to take this class as a requirement!

I took this class during the summer and online. The labs are very straight forward and pretty much tell you what and how to do it. Each test has extra credit. The lowest exam, lab, and quiz are dropped. I would highly recommend this professor.

Took this class twice In person with 2 other professors, and then when I took it online with Mr. Sullivan it was so easy. Quizzes all online and not timed, easy homework, and even though tests are taken on campus, 2 tests and the final out of the 8 were taken at home. He was very nice and even bumped my grade to a C to a B at end of semester.

I wish Prof Sullivan could teach every biology class. The way he presents material is clear and easy to follow. His tests follow the format of quizzes and his lecture videos are great. I didnt need my textbook once. There are exams every 2 weeks but he gives 6 possible extra credit points every exam. Online lab simulations are easy.

I took this class online in the summer and it was a lot of information to go over in a short period of time, but he was the BEST proffesor. He makes his instructions clear and concise. He posted recorded lectures on YouTube and weekly quizzes/labs. 10/10 recommend him for physiology.

Needless to say this class was awesome to take over the summer. His tests aren't too overly complicated and fairly straight forward. He does let you drop 1 test and has a few extra credit point at the end of the semester. The labs are kind of a pain and quizzes are as well. But a lot of the test is based of the quizzes, would recommend!

I really struggled with Physiology in the past. I couldn't wrap my brain around concepts that small. He made it so much easier, it finally made sense! HIGHLY recommend.

One of the best prof I've ever taken. Course is very structured. Each unit is consists of 3 chapters, 1 quiz for each ch., 3 labs, and 1 unit test. Each unit is two weeks long w/ everything due 2 days before the unit test. Can use notes on quizzes. No study guides, but tests are just like the quizzes. Both are rlly easy if you study a little.

Professor Sullivan did a pretty good job with having to teach this class online. There are a lot of lecture videos that you must watch for every section but its not that hard. He is sometimes hard to understand because he talks very quickly but he is better than most of the teachers I have had. He sets out a very easy to follow schedule.

Prof. Sullivan is great! Really cares for the success of his students and helps out when asked. Lectures are easy to follow and what is expected is clearly outlined. He made the class so much fun. If you are scared to take Human Phys. take him, he is welcoming and encouraging. Overall great guy!

TAKE NOTES on EVERYTHING that is said. 3 online "labs" each unit. Testsmultiple choice. Finalmultiple choice and open note. Highly recommend!

Physiology is a hard class but he makes it manageable. I never used the book, I watched every lecture video he posted. He has videos for all of the chapters and it goes over exactly what will be on the test. He also has a practice test you can take for the exam! He overall an amazing teacher, TAKE HIM!

I really liked his teaching style. You have three quizzes,3 labs and one exam due every two weeks but its very manageable if take the time to take notes and listen to his lectures. I love that he drops your lowest test score. It is difficult material but his practice exams help. I really loved the lay out of his class

I took Human Physiology with Prof. Sullivan over the summer and it was quite a breeze. I was dreading taking this course over the summer because I knew it would be more intense, however, taking it with Sullivan made it attainable. The coursework is very neatly laid out and as long as you listen to his lectures and take notes, you'll do great!

I wish I could have him for all of my science classes. Hybrid class, works great. He lets you complete online assignments 7 days after the due date and still get full credit. Has premade quizlets, 2 practice exams per exam, online lecture power points, and more for success in the class. His exams are easy if you studied and used his practice exams.

Professor Sullivan really wants you to do well in his class. Course expectations are clear in the syllabus and makes them clear on the first class meeting. He drops the lowest test score and the two lowest lab scores.Its not easy but if you put in the work in this class, you will do well.

I really enjoyed my Anatomy & Physiology class with Sullivan. His exams and lab exams are difficult, but he hits all the points in his lectures. I would not suggest missing classes as there are in-class labs. There's a ton of information you need to learn, but he does his best to provide you with the objectives for each module and is a fair grader.

Sullivan is a great professor! I really learned a lot and enjoyed his class. He has great lecture videos and quizlets that help prepare you for tests. He also gives out study guides of everything that could be on the test. If you study around that, then you will do great on every test.

This class is one of the easiest classes I've taken. It's a hybrid course so there is a lot of video lectures. The videos aren't long and he goes over important stuff the week before the exam. You're lowest lab and lecture exam are dropped, but I do recommend you study. This class is a very easy A if you put in the work!!

Professor Sullivan is awesome! He has so many resources for each module and it's clear that he wants you to succeed. Everything is organized really well and learning objectives are very clear.

Professor Sullivan made learning easy to understand and interesting. There was a decent amount of homework and tests every other week but it if you listen in lecture and watch the online videos you will be prepared. I really enjoyed this class and would definitely take again!

He actually sets you up for success—he drops your lowest test grade, provides practice exams before each test, and if you pay attention and do your work, you'll do well. This class not only helps you succeed academically but also prepares you for your future career.

He was a great and fair professor. He drops off the 7 lowest homework grades, and 1 of the lowest lab and lecture exams. He made a difficult class much easier and made it possible to finish the class with a higher grade. Would definitely have him again as a professor.

I took BIO144 this summer to replace my grade received in BIO140 from Fall of 24 and ended the semester with a B. This professor is very kind and knowledgeable. He drops the lowest exam grades and the 7 lowest homework grades. I recommend studying the lectures thoroughly as the lecture exams tended to be more difficult for me than the lab exams.

This guy is the GOAT. Class is well structured and organized. Slides are easy to follow and he does not try to trick you on exams. Lectures are organized and every assignment was pertinent to the subject.

I cannot say enough nice things about Prof. Sullivan. He made a difficult class so much easier. This is an online intensive course, so be sure to watch the lectures! GO TO THE ANATOMY LAB EVERY CHANCE YOU GET! Lots of structures you'll have to memorize! I relied heavily on the lab portion of the exams. EC is offered on every lab/lecture exam.

Professor Sullivan is great- his lectures are concise and interesting, he emphasizes information that will be on any exams or tests, and his sense of humor encourages engagement with the content. Sullivan provides recordings of lectures so that you can revise your notes with ease, and he really cares about the success of his students.

Mr. Sullivan is the bomb! Modules were very well organized and easy to follow. He knows his stuff, explains it well, and even sprinkles humor into lectures—MEDULLA OBLONGATA! Highly recommend and I'm definitely taking another course of his next semester!
