Great prof. if you do what you are supose to. Do the H.W. test will be base on that. Watch for a few trick questions on the exam. Don't mist days it will hurt you, believe me. Again, she is good at teaching the material but she is not a easy grade.

Calc I is a hard course and there are a lot of stupid Math profs in BCC. She's not one of them. You got to do your own share of the work and do the journals that she assigns but other than that you'll be fine.

She was a cool teacher, but I did not like how she seemed to play favorites with some students. Besides that her class is not at all hard, just do the HW and pay attn in class and you should be fine.

I loved her.With her just do your journals that she assaigs, study, do all homeworks and dont hesitate to go for extra help. She's better at explaining one on one. She's a nice lady thats why im taking her for calc too.

VERY helpful teacher..Don't know what I would do without her..she helps explain everything so well that we get it...the work could be annoying, but she teaches until we get it and can make it easy and fun. A++++

Dr. Kallman answers all of my questions and is an extremely smart teacher (hence the DR) I recommend to anyone interested in the stat. class

My GPA right now is 3.6 and I work hard. She gave me a passing grade (B+) She is a very nice teacher, very helpful and the class was pleasant. She explains the subject matter well and offers extra help. But the class was just hard and only a few students passed the class. So now, you be the judge.

There is one thing I don't like, but that isn't necessarily her fault. And that's she is TOO FAST. Other than that, she's one of the top math teachers around. Her one on one help during office hours is extremely beneficial. You can only learn in this class if you are committed and she will help!

She is one of the best calculus teachers at bergen, not saying much but she is the easiet out of the rest. Her tests are easy, she just grades very harshly. You have to do about 10 homework journals, but all these things can bring your grade up. If you are taking calculus take her or Higham

I really enjoyed her class. You've to work very hard to get A in her class. Anyway, hard work + responsibility will get you A. Her tests are pretty straightforward. She's the best in the Math Dept.

Excellent Professor! She is among the best in the math department. Her pace is very quick however, but that's just how Math Courses are. Her one on one help (office hours) offers the best assistance you will find for Mathematics.

This professor is awsome. Her teaching methods are unbelivable and extremely helpful. This is my second time taking Dr. Kallman and once again it has been a terrific experience. The subject matter is difficult for me, but she is very helpful and is available for her students. I would highly recommend her...you will learn a lot and enjoy her classes.

i enjoyed dr. kallman's class. if you are interested in learning algebra, take her class. she will explain thoroughly and if you still need extra help, go to her office hours, she will sit with you and explain until YOU get it. if you are a non-traditional student, definitely take her class!

took her for algebra b. she's great, got a great personality, really knows her material ALWAYS there for extra help. explains EVERYTHING in detail, a little bit fast but you'll do great if you do the homework and pay attention in class. take her!!

Aced her class but it was not easy. You'll do well as long as you make sure to do the journals which defn helped a lot. She makes sure e1 understands before continuing and she let me leave early when I had some family issues which made me just work harder to kind of make her not regret it. Great overall personality and at times funny.

I like her! She's interested in the material that she teaches and is eager to help when help is needed. She's not the easiest teacher, but by far, one of the best. If you actually want to learn, then take her class. If not, well, why are you in school in the first place?

Dr. Kallman is a great teacher! She really works hard to help everyone understand the material. If you do poorly in this class, it is your own fault-stop sitting in the back and talking, and start taking your education seriously-maybe even think about taking notes once in a while. most math profs are so abstract, its nice to finally understand one!

Keep up with the homework and youll do fine. She is a good professor, but WILL leave you behind for the good of he class. She is fair with grading and gives you a chance to make up exams and homework.

Dr. Kallman is best teacher at BCC teaching Cal. This is a very hard subject, but she taught it well. She goes over home work in class, give us lots of examples of problems and is always available to help us at her office hr. I took Cal. b4 and fail. But, with her I learnt alot. I didnt know Cal. was so easy.

Stop complaining. If you take attending college seriously and will work for your grade Dr. Kallman is great. I suck at stats but she gave me help numerous times and didn't make me feel like an idiot as other stat prof L. has. If you want to learn and work at it take her if you don't want to learn and work, don't. Cry babies

I honestly advise taking her because I've heard not good things about the other professors at that college and she is a really good prof!!

hard class no matter who teaches it but she was very helpful. honors section lots of journals and project that help grade..attendance not mandatory but xtra points if you are there a lot!

She is a great teacher and she cares about her students. The course was a difficult, but she made if fun. She has a great sense of humor. If you take yourself and college seriously, you will not only get an A, but you will learn a lot, because Dr. Kallman is a great professor.

i dont understand why students dont give her the credit she deserves. she is fast, but u cant be slow in a math class. she give u chance to make up yur grade. maybe she treated us( fall 08) different.

Anyone who can help a math-o-phobe like me get an A in calc is a genius. If you do your part you're going to be fine, if you slack off, you're done.

Awesome professor! Took her Algebra B class...Very easy to understand and as long as you keep up with the homework, you are golden.

I am a person who has hated math from day one and she broke me from my hatred which i never thought could happen. I only got a C in her class but i don't care because I actually enjoyed her class.

I really loved my Statistics class with Prof. Kallman. She knows what she is talking about. Truthfully, I'm not sure how helpful she is during office hours or after class. I just know that in class I understood what she was talking about and I had no trouble applying what we learned to the homework and the exams.

i don't get why she has such bad reviews. yes you write in a journal, but it's not everyday. i think i've only written 6 the whole semester. you have to do one after every test but there's only 4, so it's not a big deal. she's very nice and teaches well. there's also a bonus question on every test. i would take her again if she taught MAT 130.

The tests are difficult but if you study,you are able to do very well.GO TO CLASS. she will give you extra points for being there everyday. A lot of journals to complete but they help your grade so much! She is such a sweetheart and is willing to help. I failed Calc last semester and to go from an F to a B...clearly she did something right.TAKE HER

Her tests are hard and you're not allowed to use a calculator, but she gives you a study guide for each test and goes over it and as long as you study what's on the review you'll be fine. Also, go to every class cause you get 2 points added on to your final grade

I took this professor this semester and i really liked her. It was easy to learn in this class but you have to pay attention, do the homework, and read the chapters. All in all her test are fair and she is a great teacher =) I would recommend taking her classes.

This professor was great. If you need statistics take her. If you don't need it, don't take statistics. She give 4 tests and journals. each test is worth 20% and the journal grade is worth 20%. She tries to help everyone. The only way you will pass is if you do your homework and study. She's great but you have to try. Not a easy class.

She is a very dedicated teacher. You have to study and apply yourself from day one and don't wait to study. She is very helpful and genuinely wants you to do well. Make sure you do the journals and hw because they are 20% of your grade. For stat she is the best.

She was a great teacher, all the homework is in the textbook which she doesn't collect, but you still need to do the homework. With a meeting a study group once a week i pulled my grade from a D to an A from the first exam to the last. Don't be intimidated, she's wonderful

I took her for Calc 1 and I would have taken her for Calc 2 if she was teaching it. She was clear but I have to admit that she sometimes goes to fast.

she is an excellent professor!!!I had three different math courses with her.of course math is not an easy subject to study, however she makes sure you understand the concept.she gives out clear instraction sheet about the homework and jernal.she will do the questions you have truble with in class,and the jernal helps you find out your mistakes.

She's a great enthusiastic teacher. She gives helpful tips in class and cares about you. If you do your work and ask her for help, you will pass with a good grade. She replaces the lowest test grade with the final grade. She assigns journals which are EASY 15% grade so DO ALL of them. I got below 85 on 2 tests but still ended up with an A.

Such an amazing professor!! This class is hard so you can't expect easiness however she is super helpful. She has office hours that are open to all students so take advantage! You need to ask questions when you don't understand something and APPLY YOURSELF. She isn't the reason people fail I promise. Do the homework and journals they help so much.
