this lady has so much patience! i loved her teaching! she let me walk barefoot once! i highly recommend her. but however do not take her kindness as her weakness!
This professor was very kind, and she is very helpful if you don't understand something. Lab practicals were not difficult at all, and online exams were reasonably challenging. We used the masteringbiology.com website more than we really used the book, but in-class reviews (for extra credit!) were very helpful.
Great professor. I personally hate science, but love this professor. She is a very nice lady, not too easy, but not too hard. Offers plenty of Extra Credit, don't let the lack of reviews let you pass her up, great lady.
Really nice professor, goes through the lectures pretty fast but makes material available on blackboard prior class, offers lots of extra credit, be a good note taker, she allows you to use your notes on tests.
Great professor to have your Bio lab with. She is a very nice lady, and very clear what is expected of you. If you show up to the lab (and do your work) a easy A. Much easier than her regular Bio class. Lab Manual is a must. She is also flexible too, as long as you put forth effort.
Great professor! She gives tons of extra credit and she is a huge help if you need it :) Loved her class.
Dr. Albano is very knowledgeable and helpful. I am not a biology major and I wouldn't say the class was "easy" but if you put the time in, an A is possible. The labs aren't difficult and she affords you the opportunity to do lots of extra credit. Dr. Albano is fair, involved, and also is easy on the eyes. I would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Albano's (goes by Renee/actual first name Cornelia) class was great. Took BIO II as a hybrid. I would highly recommend it. Tons of opportunity for extra credit. All lecture exams are done online so you have your study materials handy. She's very helpful in lab & super nice. Easily made an A.
Took her class as a hybrid class. Easy class I would recommend her to anybody. She gives lots of extra credit and the work is pretty easy. We only took about two exams and two lab practical. Final exam optional, based upon do you want to approve your final grade or not.
The tests are tricky, but she allows you to bring a cheat sheet into every test. It all depends on what you write on your cheat sheet. Gives a lot of extra credit, I made a B on every test, however still ended up with an A in the class. Never pass up extra credit opportunities.
By far the best college coarse ive taken so far! She is very patient and so willing to help. She even allows us to make a cheat sheet for the test, and gives us a study guide that is VERY similar to the real test. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
Prof. Albano is the best biology teacher, she makes class fun and we play review games. She even brought food for us a couple of classes, she's very helpful. Don't pay attention to the notes on her power points, write what she writes on the board and use your cheat sheet and you'll be set. It's SO easy to get extra credit in her class!!!
Im in her Hybrid A/P I right now, and she is great! If you do the work and participate in class, extra credit will find you! Totally recommend her for any bio/anatomy class!!!
This was a great class. Very Helpful. I had no interest in this class prior to taking it and it was my favorite this semester. Attendance is important for your grade. Quizzes are given EVERY class.
This was the easiest class I've ever taken. The lab met 10 times. You don't show up, your grade goes down a letter. You show up every week and do your work-- 100%. You work with three others who sit at your table so you never really struggle with finding answers. The experiments are fun and she usually grades for completion.
Professor Albano is very nice and willing to help. Her class includes long lectures that are pretty boring, and that's when you take notes. She gives about 4 tests and an optional final, she allows you to use notes on every test. She always offers extra credit, so I never had to worry about my grade.
Great teacher, lot of assignments but that's what makes it easier to get an A. Exams and homework assignments are online (open book). Gives quizzes every week but tells you exactly what to study! Love her A is easily attainable!
Very organized, intelligent, and has a pleasant personality. Homework is usually less than 2 hours a week, weekly quizes are easy if you study, modules exams are bit harder but open book. I will take her again for BSC2086C and recommend her for any student.
The best professor I have ever had at FSCJ. Very organized and very helpful with everything. I would take her again! Plenty of opportunities for extra credit!
She's AWESOME.
Albano is the best professor I've taken in college so far. She is so passionate about science and that makes it makes so much easier to listen to her lectures, which is nice because you do have to go to class because she gives a quiz every week. She gives a TON of extra credit opportunities. If you study, you'll get an A. (:
Avoid her at all costs. Very hard! Too hard to be an "Into" class
Assignments are the hardest. Quizzes are second hardest. Tests are simple as long as you're understanding quiz material. This class is best done for Spring semester in my opinion due to the project. Only 2 tests, a midterm and final exam.
Not sure where to start regarding Prof Albano. I took her as a hybrid class. All of our test was done online open book, but you only get 1 hour and one try. Quiz every class. She some what tell you what will be on the quiz if you pay attention. I'm not taken her for A&PII.
shes cool
A&P 2 is not easy. It takes a lot of memorization and understanding of whats going on, however Professor Albano made learning the material very easy. She basically tells you everything that will be on the quizzes (1 every week). 5 exams (4 online) and a lab practical. Gives extra credit. Wish I had Professor Albano for all of my science classes.
I enjoyed having professor Albano. The syllabus is very organized and you will know what to expect every week. I ended up having an A in her class, but you need to study for every quiz and test. I am taking her for A&P2.
I took A&P1 and now A&P2 with her. She is a very good teacher with clear expectations you have online homework assignments, a worksheet, and a quiz every week. We had 4 or 5 exams that were online. An end of the year lab practical and a departmental final both are done in class. The hardest part of the class in the practical
Not very clear on the material. Is a nice person, just not a good teacher.
Professor Albano did a very good job teaching. She went over several topics and made sure we had a clear understanding of what she was teaching. She went into depth with the topics and i really enjoyed her class.
She's a great teacher who's understanding and compassionate yet maintains control of the class. I would take here for all my remaining sciences if possible.
Dr. Albano is the best professor I've had in this school. She provides a challenge without destroying you with unnecessary work just to make the class harder. She provides clear criteria for grading in any activity. She puts her power points online so you can read them ahead of time. She is truly a great professor that I can't recommend enough.
Mrs. Albano is very nice and she is really dedicated to helping her students pass. The easiest class I'v e ever been in.
Professor Albano was very helpful, she worked with you very well this course is very easy to follow, I highly suggest you take professor Albano's class.
This class was fun and the teacher gave out snacks.
She's a great teacher
She was easy to understand and laid out very clearly what we would have to do to pass. Overall she was very helpful if needed and not very difficult.
Whether you are into A&P or not, she breaks the difficult parts down to more easily understandable terms. If you read the chapters then her lectures can be more like review for you. She is very organized and she lets you know exactly what to expect out of the next class. You won't regret taking her. I wish I could take her again!
This professor was amazing! I plan on taking her again.
This professor was fantastic! She made it easy and understandable. I work full time and the online class was very "do-able". Biology is not really my favorite, and the class was definitely understandable.
Awesome teacher!!! If you fail its your own fault.
If you really want to learn the subject material, then this is the class! Prof Albano utilizes several different platforms for learning, from interactive online tools, mp3 and competition style class review to make it a little more fun! The class time always went by super fast and the expectations for quiz & tests were very clear.
Professor is straight forward and everything is outlined for you. My class was a hybrid, so online homework is a must to complete since it's worth about 20% of your overall grade. Extra credit can be earned during each lecture, come to class because you can not turn in lab assignments for missed class. She tells you what's on quizzes.
She's clear in her expectations and her grading criteria. She DOES care if you are not doing well in her class. She gives quizzes and extra credit every week. A few open book tests and a departmental final. I loved her and the class. I'd sign up for her to teach all of my classes if I could.
Only graded on 7 discussions kind of a work at your own pace class. She is a fast and easy grader.
Only graded on 7 discussions kind of a work at your own pace class. She is a fast and easy grader. Textbook is free online
Very straight forward with her grading, just do as she asks and study and you will pass.
This was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. It was a 7 week class and you had 3 projects, 3 Tests, and 14 Discussions (you only had to do 7). You could resubmit the tests and discussions as many times as you needed to get full credit, as long as it was before due date. Pro. Albano was quick to respond to emails as well. Take the class!
Enjoyable class considering it was online. Would definitely take her again. There really isnt too much work, so that was nice with my busy schedule.
Good professor, definitely worth taking her class for A&P 1 and 2
Homework is online through the Pearson site (access code needed). Weekly quizzes with topics & figures given. Four online exam. Lectures in class, which are helpful and good reviews. Overall, a good professor & an easy grade if you put some effort in. Unlike some classes that are "easy A's," you can also learn quite a bit in class and with the work
The course is tough. She has a lot to cover in a short amount of time so she moves fast in the lectures and there is homework once or twice weekly for sure. Even if you're used to coasting through classes, you'll have to study for this one. Great professor though.
Had a blast taking AP1 and 2 on a row with her .Good lecture gives you specific information so wont get overwhelmed with too much studying.
The most insane course I've seen, with multiple discussions due weekly, each with ridiculous expectations. Ridiculously difficult for BIO1. Will strictly avoid this Prof in the future.
Register for this class if you are ready to do serious learning. It's easy to get an A as long as you study and finish your homework on time. Class participation means more points. Come to class prepared for extra credits.
Very fast paced homework and quizzes are due each week and can be lengthy depending on the chapter this is a class you have to dedicate ALL of your time to
I took her human biology class online, and loved it. You have multiple attempts to take all of her exams and DBQ's before the due date. Except for the final exam which is protected, but it's not hard because all of the questions come straight from the previous exams. She responds quickly to emails.
Great class! would take it again.
She is an amazing teacher. Hands on and actually teaches the material until you understand. She is always willing to help. Very easy going and she also let you know your progress throughout the class. I love her. Very helpful and nice. Easy class and grade.
This Professor is amazing. She is clear about what she wants and will help you if you need it. You do need the book to do the Hw which is online, and you need to book to study figures for the quizzes. Test are online and have a time limit. At the end of the semester you have a lab practical. She gives you a lot of chances to earn extra credit.
Professor Albano is a great professor to take online! She's helpful, not too tough of a grader and wants to help her students understand the material and pass her class. I enjoyed her class, learned a lot, and I would take her again and recommend her to other students.
I loved it. I took a 7wk online. 3 fun projects, 3 module quizzes(60q but super easy), 1 final (same wording from quizzes), 21 EASY discussion posts, weekly reading but you can just read her power points and get an A. LOTS OF REALLY FUN EX CRED LIKE GOING TO ZOO!!! You dont need the textbook but its free online. I would take again. Responds quick
The grading criteria is very clear and easy to understand. He gives you as many tries as you need with tests in order to score the best score possible and the discussions were very easy to follow. I would recommend this professor to anyone taking Biology online. The dissections were also very simple with videos to follow along.
Professor Albano is really nice, don't get me wrong. It was a relatively easy A compared to my Anatomy 1 professor. It's almost as if she left out the "physiology" aspect of the class almost entirely when she noticed the class was struggling. From there, mostly anatomy exams which were a breeze. Kinda feel cheated of my education tbh. : /
SO MUCH BUSY WORK! The quizzes are every week, and hard. No one passed the written portion of the final! If you are absent she counts your homework for that chapter as a zero...

I love this teacher! She is the best teacher I had so far. I would to take this teacher again! Do the work and get an A.
Ms. Albano was a good professor for online bio. She grades with a lot of discussions but they're easy, 3 paper projects, 3 easy tests and 1 final and some extra credit. She is very kind but make sure you pay attention to detail. Textbook was free online. Pay attention to deadlines as well!
I would take Prof Albano for every class if I could. She makes HA&P so interesting and relatable. I've attended face to face class&online for HA&P 2. She is caring, and explains even tough chpts in a way it just clicks.I would give her 10 stars if I could. She is amazing and I would take her class again in a heart beat! Do the work, learn, succeed!
This professor is awesome! I would take her class again. She cares if you need help to better understand anything she goes over. Her way of explaining keeps you intrigued. She gives you helpful resources and videos to further explain the material all to help you relate and learn. I recommend her class to anyone and everyone.
Took Prof. Albano for Biology and lab. Highly recommend taking both if you need a lab for your degree. You can use info for both classes. Only need to do 10 questions/discussion assignments for the lab and 7 DQ's, 3 papers, 3 tests and 1 final for the class. Attention to detail and DEADLINES ARE A MUST! Able to work ahead and finish early.
Took this class for Human A&P II and it was WAY easier than A&P I. Everything is online and in Pearson. 1 lab that requires you to purchase animal parts, super easy and 2 proctored exams (mid-term & final). 95% of the answers can be found online which is a plus. I would take this class every semester if I needed to! Get on the wait list NOW!
I personally love this professor. When I first started this class, I was scared and I thought I was not going to well in the class but I needed to get A in a class. Its a really easy course long as if you do the work and you going to pass the class. Great class.I do recommend people to take her because YOU WILL THANK ME after finishing this class.
Was dropped from the class with ZERO notice within 5 days of the course starting. These professors REALLY need to figure out how to use computers if they are going to be conducting online education. Extremely frustrated!
She's very knowledgeable and loves what she do. Easy to pass this class if you study the material and do your homework assignments.
I took her for A&P 1 and was very nervous because I heard so many stories about how difficult it was. Dr. Albano made it easy with her amazing teaching and clear understanding. Don't get me wrong you do have to work for a good great and study but she'll meet you halfway.
I was pushing off taking bio because science is just not my strong suit but I am glad I took online bio with Professor Albano! The class is outlined pretty well in the syllabus so it can be an easy A as long as you're putting in the work. A few tests and papers, then a discussion done each week. I'm so glad I took her class online!
Loved her online AP2 class! She clearly outlines expectations/follows up with you if you are missing anything. This class is homework heavy with only 2 tests- great for test anxiety folks. She gives you as many chances as you want to take a pretest and it prepared me well for the exams. Work ahead is allowed. Extra credit offered. Quick response
Subpar professor. Gives a ton of Discussion Boards, but then removes the DBs from the grades. If you work fulltime I would advise to take a different professor because she is not understanding. The syllabus stated we could use a proctoring service at home, but when I emailed her on how to do that she refused telling me I needed to take it on campus
Maybe these positive reviews are paid for or she's better in person. I would not recommend taking her. She provides 0 feedback on anything! There are 21 discussions, your top 7 go toward your grade. 3 projects and 3 quizzes, ONLY the final is proctored. However, she became unresponsive when seeking info on how to proctor from home. Very lackluster.
I hated this class so much. The way she spoke to me was very rude and disrespectful. If you don't need to take this class please don't take it. She's also a really strict grader and does not give extra credit. This class you NEED to study if you don't you're not going to pass.
Fair grading and hands on teaching.
Class itself was pretty easy, 7 graded discussions, 3 projects, 3 quizzes and a cumulative final exam that was supposed to be proctored but proctoring was removed for my specific class. Get ready to teach yourself if you take this class with this instructor.
