she is awesome! her tests will kick your butt! but you will enjoy it! fun test! keep studying the stuff. you'll make it! it is easy if you actually read the book & listen to her. also it helps if you had some form of chemistry first.

Corrie is a good teacher and very helpful. She was always willing to help on anything you didn't understand, even if she had to stay a few min. after class.

EASY! Gives a lot of extra credit. Homework is easy! She gives you example exams for every exam, and for the actual exam she uses some of the same questions. It's impossible not to pass. Take a little time to study and get an easy A.

This lab is pretty much free-form by design; however, Corrie always offered her help and extra time outside of class as well. I liked her and the class very much. Her use of blackboard makes the class much easier to get through. Also, offered extra credit to help boost your grade if you need it.

I took Corrie's Hybrid class which is .5 online and .5 at school. We would meet once a week for lectures and for in-class questions which we would fill out. For me the schedule was great, I like using blackboard, and was able to have questions answered for me in class. I recommend taking her class.

Corrie is great! She really wants you to succeed and she is greatly motivating, but she will push you to work for your grade. Her tests are hard but she gives you all the information you need be prepared.

I took the online class. No book was required. Great instructor extremely helpful and always available. Course content was made enjoyable and easy to understand. Learned a lot and had tons of fun with at-home experiments. No papers due, four short easy discussions. Fun tests. Overall great experience!

I personally thought she was an amazing teacher. Yes the class was quite a bit of self teaching because we only met once a week but still she was always available to answer questions and go over things. She is extremely nice and helpful and I would def. take her again. I wish she taught pathophysiology!

online lab was a great expierence. Material very well organized, she gives you direct material no guessing, pleanty of time to work at own pace and turn in by due dates that were 2 weeks out, labs fun easy and material provided, she doesn't subtract points for mispelling, she answers all questions clearly, fun class.

Pretty interesting the things you can do from home. Everything is spelled out from the beginning. Just stay on top of due dates. She is very helpful and pretty quick in responding. Some questions can have misleading/tricky wording so be careful. Plenty of wiggle room to get an A in the course. She even provides materials for most of the labs.

Corrie is amazing! I took her hybrid Micro class. She uses the class time to clear up any questions you may have. The test were a bit hard but you can always email her about any concerns you have. She is very understanding!!

Corrie is extremely helpful, and lays everything out from the beginning,you know exactly what is expected of you. The only thing I didn't like is that even if you felt you understood the homework, you would not do well on the tests. The material was the same on both, just phrased in a confusing manner. Other than that she is amazing!

Corrie is beyond helpful, encouraging, and a delight to be around. A LOT of material, but she is very clear on what she wants. If I have the opportunity, I will take her again. She is awesome.

Professor Andries is an exceptional instructor. Micro is a difficult subject at times, but if you watch her lectures(and take notes on them), read, and do all the assignments you can get an A. She is also extremely helpful and speedy at responding emails.

She was nice. I took an online lab with her so there was little interaction. She could use a proofreader for some of the material she puts up (this can cause problems on tests as well as she is not clear about what she is asking or the question leaves necessary pieces out). Over all though the class is very easy.

Corrie is an excellent teacher. I didn't even know they offered online labs so I was pleasantly surprised with hers. The labs are fun and are due in a batch 3 times during the term. No midterm, but there is a final. You have to use Respondus software for the tests only, so you'll need a webcam and a quiet place to take the tests. Take this class.

This online bio lab was very straightforward. Each week had a PDF with the reading and work, then a post lab assignment with a quiz. I did not care for most of the "kitchen sink" labs, many did not work for me. Though she always answered my questions promptly and respectfully, and I felt like I learned a lot. Definitely would take again.

Corrie is amazing. Micro is a tough class, but she made it really easy. I took the hybrid version of the class, so basically everything was online except a weekly lecture. She offers extra credit on every test. If you study her lecture and powerpoints, you will have no trouble passing tests.

I would DEFINITELY take this class with Ms. Corrie again. She only expects 2 assignments a week and are very easy to get passed if you review her lecture videos and powerpoints. She makes things so much clearer, she drops lowest scores. The exams are a tough one, but if you study enough, it won't be a problem. Shes a GREAT teacher. I recommend her.

This was micro biology lab and it was a very fun class. The quizes were easy and the information was informative. Lots of hands on work, but well worth it.

This class requires the LockDown Brower which means you can't have any tabs open as well as the quizzes were recorded to make sure you weren't cheating. The quizzes were pretty easy if you did the Post Lab because she takes questions or the quiz straight from the Post lab. Very hands on and fun even with this being an online class.

I really enjoyed this class, and I don't usually enjoy science. You must know the material for the exams, but the exams are pretty easy if you study the study guide material. I highly recommend this professor.

Take her for Microbiology lab! You will not regret it. She's amazing! Take her online practice quizzes before the weekly quiz and you'll do great! You can't skip class since it's a lab, but that's a given. Pay attention and you'll pass no problem. She gives extra credit on everything.

Corrie organized the class so well that I was never unsure about what I needed to get done next. It was all online, but the due dates were the same every week and very clear. There was reading and work, but nothing too hard for how hard this class used to be for me! I highly recommend her! She also drops lowest scores, which is awesome! Best class

Took professor Andries for BIO-1010 and BIO-1092. Work is due in blocks running 3 to 5 weeks. If you do the online book work and reading, the tests aren't bad. If you can manage a C or better on the tests and ace the homework, you can pull an A. Quizzes and homework allow for multiple attempts.

The online version of this class consists of reading the online text, practice exercises, homework, and quizzes. These are all done through a digital text book. There are four tests that cover two to three chapters each. If you are somewhat familiar with the materiel, the tests aren't bad. Do the work and pass the tests with a C or better for an A.

Online class was easy. You are able to work ahead. If you pass the quizzes and study them before the final you will do great. Experiments were quick and fun. Make sure to do all assignments for each section to be able to answer quiz questions. Answers questions quickly. Great teacher.

She is great . Very patient and thorough. She is clear in her delivery and expectations of what is required . She takes the time to explain things when you dont understand and makes you feel comfortable asking questions. Very reasonable with her assignments and quizzes . She is very transparent with her expectations.

She is very dedicated to helping her students understand the material and be successful in the class. Tests are fairly hard, but there are excellent review resources available to study. Classwork/lectures are interesting and helpful in understanding the material.

This is the second time I took Professor Andries for a class. All I can say is, Phenomenal Instructor! She cares, she is there for anything you may need. Her lab is also stellar. Study and you won't be disappointed with your grade. Grades aren't given, they are earned and she gives every opportunity to earn an A.

Corrie was always prompt to class. She was very encouraging and passionate about the subject, which made it so much easier for students to engage during class time. Mid semester the class was switched to Online only due to COVID-19. Corrie was efficient in communicating with students and was very understanding of circumstances.

I highly recommend to take Corrie for BOTH lab and lecture. She remains very consistent with her teachings, which allows for classes to flow smoothly. She is very patient with explaining concepts to students, and encourages to meet with her outside of class if you have any concerns.

Great class, I took Microbiology during the Covid-19 pandemic and she made is easy with her online lectures. Its no easy A, but if you work for it you will get an A ! I didn't really use a book for this class and attendance did matter. Microbiology was little tough for me but a great teacher!

I wish more professors were like Corrie Andries! She made her lectures interesting and I loved that she wrote helpful notes on the board for the class to follow. She does not grade based on attendance, however her classes were worth going to because she explains things so well.

Professor Andries was my favorite teacher so for an online science class. I took her for microbiology intersession, during the winter so there were Holidays and it was very fast paced, but she gave extra credit, and let us retake some exams and quizzes. I learned a lot from the homework she gave and felt like I had a good understanding of the info.

Best instructor I've had to date! Plenty of practice quizzes that pretty much would align with the actual tests and exams. 10% extra credit available for most of the tests. Great instructional content that went along well with the textbook. I definitely highly recommend her!

I loved her online intersession class. Just enough assignments to actually know the material but not too much. My favorite thing about the class was the quizzes. You could take the quizzes as many times as you needed but the questions were different every time. Loved the lecture videos. My Biol 2310L prof. even uses her videos.

Professor CORRIE ANDRIES is amazing. She is AWESOME. I took micro lec. and lab with her. I found her kind, helpful and if you ever ask for help, she will welcome you at any time. No notes but gives lots of practice qs. You can talk with her anytime through zoom meeting or pronto messaging. You can get an A. Humble, compassionate, and respectable.

Online classes have been a challenge, but she has made microbiology fun and UNDERSTANDABLE. I haven't yet talked to her personally, but the way she has this online class set up rocks. Luckily I got her for both lecture and lab! I wish she was an anatomy and physiology teacher so I could better understand that criteria.

Professor Andries is so kind and helpful. I would have been lost in this lab without her, but her extra videos and help in office hours were key for me. The class is hard but doable. She is really friendly and fair. I'd take her again for another class anytime.

I took the 3 week accelerated course. In the last week of the class, the professor sent out emails letting us know how many of each thing we needed to complete. She also dropped a lot of low scores. If you read the short passages and do the work it is a very easy class to pass.

Professor Andries in-person lab or in-person lecture or online lecture is the BEST. Very intelligent, understanding, caring, and her teaching methods work. She is clear on what to study for exams. No guessing games. 4 exams and 1 final for lecture. 2 chapters per exam. Lab study study for midterm. She provides the information to study. Best prof.
