She has all her notes on powerpoint, which is really helpful! She knows her stuff! Test are easy! Lectures are VERY interesting!
she is really cool. the notes are VITAL. they are on powerpoint, sometimes she goes through it real quick. we had map quizzes which are memorizing most of the continents. the tests are straight off the notes. if you pay attention then you should be fine. she makes learning about all the countries really interesting and exciting.
Her stories are interesting to listen to. She is very organized which made the class great. I'm so glad I had her.

I really enjoyed this class. Not only is the material interesting, but this teacher is a globe trekker and has a lot of personal experience in many of the countries we learn about. The best part of this class is watching the films that are very effective in illustrating the brutality suffered in some of these countries! Take this class!
I had Prof. Cataldi for both GEOG 100 and SSCI 165. She is VERY responsive and helpful and has been all over the world, so she knows her stuff! Both classes deal with real world issues. She makes the material VERY interesting and she is very passionate about what she is teaching.
If you memorize just whats on the study guide, you'll get 80-85% of the questions on the test right. If you want a better grade DO the extra credit, its time consuming, but worth it. You have to go to class for her fill in the blank notes. Also, you don't have to read the book, but you have to buy it to help study for the tests.
fun class, not hard
Shes an awesome teacher!! I enjoyed this class sooo much, she needs to be teaching more classes. I learned a lot from her, and really enjoyed her stories. Class is not hard. Go to class, review your notes. She goes over the study guide with you before the exam.
Amazing Professor! Knows her stuff well and makes teh class extremely interesting. She also makes you want to travel. Attendance is important because she only gives half the notes online, the other half in class. But the class in so interesting, you'll want to go. its an easy A too.
Extremely Easy Class. You Have To Attend Class In Order To Get The Notes And If You Want An Easy A Then The Notes Will Be Extremely Helpful. The Way She Presents The Material Is Very Interesting And Makes You Want To Stay In Class Longer. This Course Will Make You See The World Differently And Make You Want To Travel. I KNow I Will
Great professor, makes the class interesting. two map quizzes, a midterm, and a final. study the notes and the study guide for the midterm and final and you'll pass.
If you want to know a teachers life story go to her. she loves to talk about herself. pretty much just get the study guide before each test learn it and you are good to go. The map quizzed are easy. This class was extremely boring. Blah blah Blah. She should just get power point to speak for her because everything came from power point
She's terrible. A few students were confused about when the next quiz was so she sent an e-mail to everyone and went on a rant saying that "would the idiot who's saying the next quiz is coming up stop it!!!!!" Take another teacher for this class if you can!!!
shes awesome! i love the way she teaches! extremely easy class! i have gotten an A on both map quiz and test so far!
tHE TWO PPL BELOW ME R IDIOTS.. THIS PROFESSOR IS AWESOME... She made the class interesting. lectures were not boring and quizzes and midterm and final were simple... i didnt buy the book... kinda unneccessary if u kno how to google and i think one was on reserve. if u have the chance take her. easy A. Oh and FYI she reads these posts so beware!!!
great teacher, easy class, dont need the book unless you have been under a rock and cannot interpret a map. she went to all the places she has taught about for the most part so her perspective is great
She gets off topic soooosososooooooo easily. Sometimes it's really annoying. You don't need the book, as long as you plan on showing up to every class. If not, I'd say get the book. All tests are based on study notes. I never used the book and did just fine.
This class is easy if you read and study the notes. Her tests are multiple choice and 2 short essays but if you know the study guide and practice what to write for essays you will get an A on every test. Final not cumulative. Go to class or get notes from someone.Best teacher at CSUSB so far.
She is awesome! I loved her class. She will make you want to travel the world. Make sure you are in class and make sure you study. Don't buy the book! I never even used it. Tests are based on her lectures. I highly recommend her!
Easy class and she's awesome too :)
Ugh, she is not on my fav list 4 sure.the class is easy, but she swears u need the book & I NEVER used it.class is interesting, but she is kinda rude. if u ask when there is a quiz, she'll respond like u are brain dead.so read syllabus. class is easy, just take notes.
IDK what the people below are talking about. Cataldi is cool & teaches from her own experiences. Very responsive to e-mails & willing to help if you ask. She never said you need the book, just hard to ace without it. I missed 3days & used free text on reserve to fill in blanks-no complaints here. Yeah she hates dumb questions-who doesn't?
Took her for SSCI&GEOG. Used book in both (more in GEOG). She is AWESOME &Funny! Bad reviews must be from those who never show up. Very helpful & responsive to emails. She will call you out for dumb questions like dates for exams or what your grade is so far. Check BB&syllabus before asking schedule Q's. Show interest in travel & she'll love you!
GREAT class. VERY interesting and I learned soo much from her. She has been all over the world and knows her stuff. Attendance is mandatory, because she has all her lectures on powerpoints. I loved it though. gooood class!
easy class, interesting, take notes and do study guide + extra credit and youll do just fine!
Easy class if you study. If you go to class and take notes you will do fine. The professor is cool, she makes the class fun. Do the extra credit, its worth a alot!
This class is easy if you study for the map quizzes. Make sure you do the extra credit and show up to class.
Easy class, the book was not used and expensive! I would not call it a "rumor" that u dont need the book, cus u really dont. teacher was ok, rude remarks & sarcasm. highly recommend "worldatlas.com" instead of book. Easy A.
Best class, alot of lecture notes. If you study you should be fine. 2 map quizes (really easy). 2 exams that she gives you a study guide for. If you do the study guide and study the answers and questions; the test should be easy. I only used the text book for background info for the test. (i only read before exam).
Easy A as long as you do study guides, extra credit, and study for map quizzes. She is a bit sarcastic at times but not a big deal.
Class is super easy, two map quizzes which are too easy, a midterm, and final. Do the study guides and you cant fail. Teacher is very talkative and sarcastic which doesnt make the class too boring.
Best class I have taken so far at CSUSB.
Awesome teacher!! Had no idea what this class was and didn't really care, but at the end I wanted to know more!! She's the freaking best and funny!! :)
The best teacher at CSUSB period.
This professor can make time fly when she is off telling her travel experiences but it sucks when she is teaching. As long as you do the study guides and Study the maps (South East Asia, Africa, South/Central America) you should be fine! DONâ??T GET THE BOOK!!! Make sure just to get the notes on Blackboard. Sheâ??s Nice, but donâ??t be late to test
Super interesting! She makes the class fun with her stories about her own experiences and adventures. Easy class if you pay attention and don't buy the book! you will never open it.
I'm not saying that this teacher is the hardest teacher but then again i'm not saying she is easy either. She does go off topic a lot, talks about things that don't have to do what we are learning. Go to class because she will talk about things that are on the midterm. She is Moderate, but if you want to get a good grade, read the book!!
The perfect teacher for a GE class. Not too easy, not too hard and you learn a lot about a wide variety of peoples and regions. You'll definitely want to know more by the end of the quarter. Go to class as often as possible (I went about 2x a week and was fine) and the book is completely unnecessary.
This teacher is great! She super clear in what she expects, no surprises on midterm, and super informative!! You rarely use the book and could definitely get by without it ONLY if you go to class!!! EVERY class. Tests are purely based on her fill-in notes. Great class, great teacher!
AWESOME professor. she's so fun and interactive and been to most of the places she talks about. you don't need the book and she does have them on reserve. she offers a major and fun extra credit assignment. the first half of the class is WAY easier than the second half so BEWARE! does give a study guide as well. Take her :) dont need to go to class
very boring class but compared to other lecture halls this is the most interesting. as for her tests she gives you a study guide and some of the questions arent on the study guide so make sure you attend class. i hated thus class but i still passed with a B.
This professor was so fun and interactive! Everything she taught was in the book, so the book really isn't necessary if you plan to attend class. Her notes are fill in the blank but she doesn't email notes so be sure to get notes from somebody! Exams are straight forward and extremely easy. Do the study guides and you'll pass.
I was referred to this class by a friend, and I have to say that I'm glad I took it. She loves what she teaches and has a great sense of humor. She may come off as a bit harsh at times, but that's only because she expects students to be prepared, as they should be. She is clear with what she expects from her students.
AMAZING PROFESSOR! Fair, easy, clear, interesting, funny. Take her, you will not regret it.
A lot of information to take in, but she makes it interesting since she has traveled to so many different places. I recommend this class. Easy A if you study and do the extra credit.
Very cool teacher, she has good traveling stories and is sarcastic at times which makes the class funny. What helped me was printing out the notes and taking them to class for any extra stuff she said, do extra credit! Had a high grade in the class and didn't have to take the final :)
Is this professor AWESOME or what!?! THE BEST! Very funny and sarcastic! Great traveling stories! Make sure you memorize all states in countries that will be covered in class! Study ppt! Every thing on ppt WILL be on test! Other than that very easy!
She made the class fun and interesting with all her traveling experience and crazy stories. All notes are online and you can use your computer during class for notes. Don't really need the book because all her notes come straight from the reading. Being in class helps on the tests.
super easy, never went to class, got a B in the class, just memorize study guide, don't need book
Professor super cool layed back.. makes notes fun. Not boring at all. you really don't need the text book. All of her notes are on blackboard. Map quizes are not to bad. Just try to rememeber them. But, in overall great professor I would highly remcommed her to anyone
Awesome prof. If you pay attention in class you can't help but learn something because she is smart and has spent her whole life learning firsthand about the stuff she teaches.
not a good professor! alot of people had to retake this class. on tests know details about everything if you want a good grade.
You can't go wrong with this professor! She makes lectures interesting. If you want an A attendance is a must!! Good quality!
Very intresting class. Loved the stories she told about traveling and just learning about the different countries. The tests are a little difficult but just pay attention and do the study guides. Use the website to study for the map quizes. I learned the whole continent of Africa and South America the night before the test with it. Great class!
To be honest this class is very interesting, you learn ALOT. But since your grade is based on two map quizzes and one midterm and final, you have to study really good! Read ALLyour notes because the tests will have info that is not on study guide!!! DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!!! it's not as hard as it seems
Not interesting
This class is pretty interesting. The professor tells A LOT of first-hand stories. NO TEXTBOOK required (I got it anyways BUT it was COMPLETELY USELESS). 2 map quizzes, 1 midterm and 1 final. all very easy. JUST DO THE STUDY GUIDES DID YOU WANT TO DO WELL. Overall, great class for an easy "A" :)
Super Interesting class! SHe's traveled everywhere so she has a million stories. She gives you a study guide, which really helps you on the test. Awesome class
The BEST teacher to take the class with. She is very clear and explains everything REALLY well. She is Funny, Very knowledgeable, Doesn't require attendance, I got a B+ with 70% effort. Overall the best teacher i had from that department. I would recommend her. No book needed. There is no reason why anyone cannot get an A.
Awesome professor, Very Clear, Expert at explaining the material, Funny, If you need help she will go beyond to help you. Overall the best professor in that department. I would recommend her to EVERYONE. No book, No attendance needed, unless u want. I am please with her. There is no words to describe how good she is.TAKE HER :)
Great professor been all around the world and has a lot of cool stories to share. The 2 midterms and the final study guide are found online on Quizlet and are basically a definition of around 50 words multiple choices piece of cake. Simple!
Great professor! She is funny and always has interesting stories. Her lectures cover what is important. The exams are what she teaches in class and she even provides websites to help you with the map quizzes. I highly recommend this professor!
Great professor, textbook not required even though in the beginning of the course she will say it helps, it doesn't. The study guides are her tests. The map quizzes are pretty simple, just study, and go to class and do the extra credit and you will get an A!
This professor was amazing. You could get away without buying her textbook. Her notes are so clear. The study guides she gives out are a great help to. she also gives extra credit that will bump up your total grade to and A!
Boring class. Talks more about personal life than the lecture. Notes aren't enough so I use the book. Essays need to be ridiculously detailed. Cool person with cool stories but I don't like the way she runs the class.
Great teacher. I love her stories about her trips abroad. Grade consist of 2 map quizzes a midterm and a final. There's also an optional extra credit assignment.
Class isnt interesting at all. Prof is too strict on grades and test are hard. Who cares about location on a map? Will it help for my major? NO big waste of time im planning on failing.
This class was by far the worst one I have taken. Her lectures are not clear since she gets off topic SO easily. She has 2 map quizzes, midterm, final and extra credit. Her study guides are useless and don't relate to the actual tests. I always study hard but barely passed this class, doesn't explain things clearly at all. Choose a different class.
Overall an average class, not too hard, consisting of 2 map quizzes, a midterm, and a final. She is pretty straightforward on what is on the exams. Do the extra credit, the study guide and study for the map quizzes and you'll do fine.
didnt pass the first time because i know nothing about Geography, cool class and not that hard if you put effort.
She is pretty hard. Kinda like a history class memorizing people and terms. ALOT of studying or you wont pass.
She likes to talk a lot. Not a bad thing, but sometimes she'll go for a while telling stories about her travels. The class wasn't that hard. If I would've done the extra credit project I probably could've received an A.
SUPER EASY CLASS!!! offers a big extra cred, all u gotta do is put time into it. Your taking a imaginary trip to somwhre out of the country, she'll tell you. turn it in and boom u got a good chunk of extra cred. Map quizes, make sure u tudy and know your countries! Study the notes and forsure you'll pass. dont waste $ on the book!!
This is human geog, NOT physical geog. Prof breaks up lecture with student lesson presentations. PP and lecture are VERY important for passing the tests. Two lesson plans (one presented), one field trip project, multiple article reviews, 3 open-book tests. Book Cultural LS reqrd-don't need other book. Interesting lectures-do work you will pass.
long lectures which sometimes included her experiences around the world(they were never on the test so they were POINTLESS). NO NEED TO GO TO CLASS,just download the power points and study. lots of terms and people you have to memorize. She has extreme anti-cheating rules, she makes you take off hats and you can't have pockets. don't buy the book!
Class grade is based on 1 midterm, 1 final, and 2 map quizzes. The midterm and the first map quiz are super easy. Just memorizing a couple countries. The second map quiz is harder and you need to start memorizing right away. Final is tougher than the midterm for the same reason of memorizing more countries. Study Guides given. Shares cool stories.
I hardly went to class, but when I did I loved it. She is hilarious! She tells a lot of stories, but they're interesting and funny. PPTs are up for a limited time. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you won't mind going:) also the map quizzes are easy she provides links to help you with them. She gives study guides for the exams. Definitely recommend
Avoid Professor Cataldi. I took this class because it was a GE and I thought it would be an easy A. As many others have said, there are two easy map quizzes and two major tests. The exams are difficult because they require you to remember the small details within her ridiculous slides. The professor can also be quite condescending at times.
You definitely need to put in some effort in this class & GO TO EVERY CLASS! After hearing about some people not passing, I was shocked. Study & DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. I'm an A student but received a B+ in this class :
Her lectures are long and boring. If you try you try hard you'll pass. Her study guides for exams are too simple you don't know what to study. Her exams are kinda though gives one extra credit assignment that is super long so start early she wants it perfect. And you don't need to go to class but it's better if you want to pass.
Her lectures are really long and boring. Class consists of 2 map quizzes, a midterm and a final. She offers extra credit up to 5%. Class is not mandatory and powerpoint are available online. Study guides are also offered and are basically the test. Wouldn't take her again.
Gives long lectures, but she tries her best to make them fun. She tells funny stories from her travels. If you study the lectures, and the study guides, you will do just fine on the tests. There is an extra credit project worth an extra 5% at the end of the quarter that is easy, but time consuming. I don't know how anyone can fail this class.
You really need to invest a lot of time studying if you want to do well. The study guides she offers are not remotely similar to the actual exams. The 2 map quizzes however are easy because its straight memorization. Either you know it or you don't. She does a great job trying to makes lectures interesting because she's traveled most everywhere.
She was an interesting professor and her lectures were not bad at all. She does keep you entertained with the lectures because she has traveled all over the world and she has 2 map quizzes which are easy midterm and final you do got to study because there is more to it then what is on the study guide overall and easy and interesting class.
Good professor.. 2 map quizzes the 1st one super easy and the 2nd is quite hard! MAKE SURE YOU STUDY! gives study guides. Do the extra credit the beginning of the quarter cause then you slack off and its alot of work to be done. 1 midterm and 1 final. Lectures were boring and long
shes blunt. lectures are mainly her talking about where she traveled. 2 easy map quizzes. exams are similar to study guide but she throws in about 15 questions that weren't on there. go over her powerpoints
All I can say is DO THE EXTRA CREDIT- it's tedious but it bumped me up a full grade. Don't buy the book, it's pointless, just go over her Power Points. Her lectures consist of her cracking jokes and telling us about her travels, which I enjoyed&was inspired by. No homework, just 2 easy map quizzes, a midterm and a final which were pretty difficult.
All she does in her lectures is explain what she did on her trips to the places she's SUPPOSED to be teaching about. I have no idea what I learned in this class because she never taught us the curriculum. Just showed us vacation photos. WHO CARES. TEACH THE MATERIAL.
Lectures are long 2 easy map quizzes midterm and final are a little tough don't even buy book her slides are all that are needed
Easy class. Everything is based on the lecture notes. Two map quizzes, a midterm, and the final. She offers extra credit.
Cataldi is a fun professor who has much experience traveling the world. She's also hilarious and her experiences directly relate to the material she is teaching, so pay attention! The extra credit assignment is very lengthy, so get ready to work. It'll be worth it! Tests are straight forward and so is the material. Highly recommend!
I memorized her trips than lectures. She "gives you" study guide but she just read it out loud. Big extra credit assignment for few points. Wont take it again.
Great professor overall, its obvious that she loves her job and that she is extremely passionate about this subject. study the power point & do the extra credit because it helps! 10/10 would recommend
She talks about her trips and encourages students to travel. Two map quizzes, one midterm, and a final. The map quizzes are easy as long as you take the time to memorize them. She gives one big extra credit assignment but it takes a very long time to complete, but it's worth it. Overall, not a bad professor.
She really doesn't seem to teach about the subject. She pretty much spend every class just telling stories about her travels and stereotyping countries; which doesn't help when it comes to the exams (1 midterm, 2 map quizzes, 1 final). notes are posted on BB. You're on your own when studying. the study guides are useless (the second one is ok).
She mostly talks about her personal vacation than the material. The PowerPoints are 40% picture of her trip or people. Stopped going to class and studied on my own. There is an extra credit worth 5% (16pts) of your grade and it is very time consuming. Just study off the PowerPoints and you should be fine.
This is the only class where i don't attend day to day because when you go you might as well stay home, The material is touched on for less than a minute then the professor goes on a tangent about how she's been there and how her vacationing was. ex: talked about her japan vacation, i fell asleep woke up 30 mins still talking about her vacation.
DO NOT TAKE HER! oh my god she is so extra when it comes to taking tests, she makes you take off your sweater, anything with pockets & makes you move your stuff to another place. She also loves to rant on about her vacations, and is a tough grader. This is the only class i ever failed.
I studied HARD and did her extra credit and got an A in class. She makes you work for it and yes she is very extra when it comes to test taking. Gives extra basically worth half a letter grade. And yes she mostly lectures about her personal actions. She is entertaining but you really have to apply yourself in this class if you want the A.
Midterm is multiple choice and you also had to memorize about 25-35 countries on a map. Final was multiple choice with the memorization of about 75 countries. All of Africa, Middle America, and South America. Basically a blank map and you have to write in the countries. Super heavy lectures. Test Reviews are long and most questions are not on exam.
I hate this class. She doesn't teach. All she does is talk about her traveling stories. She gives you power points ahead of time but they are no help. This class is ridiculously hard. I can probably get a higher grade if she tested us on her stories than on the actual class. She does offer extra credit. Do not get the class if its avoidable.
If you can take this class with someone else please do so. This class is near impossible to pass. Study includes about 30 terms and you need to memorize definitions, places and anything else related to it. Also 3 exams which only about ten of the questions are from the study guide, she said she enjoys failing students, and book is expensive!
Her class is boring! If you can take another professor do so because all she does is talk about her vacations and is on one slide for almost the entire class, when the midterm/ final were near she rushed through it! 1 midterm, 1 final, and two map quizzes. Her study guides aren't useful.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! , She truly does not care if she fails you.
I had no idea this class was going to be so difficult, she is a tough grader!
I tried to pass this class, even though i was failing but i still failed in the end.
There is no reason to fail this class. Take the map quizzes seriously because they are worth a big chunk of your grade. You know exactly what countries you need to know so there is no excuse to do bad on them. The exams are tough but the study guide is helpful. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. Take the time to do the extra credit, it could bump you 5%
If you take this class consider yourself an F.
The only people who pass this class are the people who like to be the teachers pet, and spend lots of extra time studying which alot of people dont have much time for.
Not sure why everyone is saying she's a tough grader, but I personally almost never went to class & when I did, I would fall asleep. I still managed to get an A without EC. The map quizzes aren't bad if you just put some time & effort. She talks about her travels, but if you like traveling or learning about different countries, this class is great.
Great professor overall, study guide will be given out before the midterm and final. Easy A
She just talks about her trips no learning. You just need to study hard, everything is on quiz let for her midterms and final. For map quizzes study for like a week. Do the extra credit it will help you.
She doesn't take attendance, but if you email her with questions about things she mentions in class like when the tests are or what you should be doing know she is not going to email you back. She makes the lectures interesting and tells you exactly what you need to know for the tests.
Tbh, just study the map quizzes because theyre really easy. She even gives you a link to help you study. Do the study guides or check quizlet because theyre basically the same as the exams. She does talk a lot about her vacations. Her exam policies are a bit whacky but she does them for a reason. You dont need the textbook btw.
Personally, I enjoyed her class. Don't need to go to class but I enjoyed her vacation stories. Everything on the powerpoint is on the exams so look those over! Do the extra credit EARLY so you don't stress, it is worth 5%. and STUDY for the map quizzes. They are so easy just study the countries she tells you to. Also study guide was helpful.
PLZ avoid this class if you can. She gives us study guides for midterm and final BUT when it came down to the actual test, some questions were never discussed in class or on the notes posted online. I do not know how she has a decent overall quality rating. I go to class everyday and do the work and still struggle. AVOID HER I AM BEING SERIOUS FAM
DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS! She gets off of topic and goes back to the subject and you won't even realize she did. She also cusses a lot to the point where you get annoyed. She gives 2 map quizzes and a final, study hard or you'll fail.
Tests are open book. You must create two geography lesson plans and a field trip report that includes letters to parents, principal, two page paper, lesson plan, and an activity to complete while at the field trip. She gets off topic a lot and talks about her family. You must present one of your lesson plans in class and they act like the grade.
overall did not care for the professor or her long vacation stories. she goes off topic so much that you start playing on your phone. not many show up because she posts slides online not like they help you at all or her "study guides."
Only grades are two map quizzes (which should be really easy if you study at least a day), the midterm, and the final. She gives study guides for midterm and final, but it's a LOT to memorize. Attendance isn't mandatory because notes are online. Offers extra credit worth 5% of grade, which makes a huge difference.
Her lectures can be interesting and she explains very good, but she talks way too much about her trips.
Most ridiculous class I've been to so far. She will literally spend most of the class time bragging about traveling the world. You don't need to show up for lectures. You'll have 2 map quizzes, a midterm, and a final. I got a B- because for the tests we had to remember a lot of people, what they did, why they were important, etc.
(Geography 300)Professor gives amazing lectures with stories to help remember information. 3 exams in class, open book not open note. 75% of grade is based off : 2 lesson plans, and field trip planned for students between K-8 with so much criteria to meet (ALL DUE DAY OF FINAL). Instructions or vague but replies to emails quickly. Grades fairly.
Honestly all her lectures were about her vacation I attended every lecture didnt learn much. Personally wouldnt take again, unless youre ready to learn the material all by yourself.
Great professor. She gave 3 test open book. Had 2 lesson plans 1 had to be presented, and a field trip project. Super easy A. She gives powerpoint ahead of time.
Easy class overall
Cataldi is by far the worst professor I've had in all my years of school. She is super vague with her assignments leaving everyone wondering then refuses to answer emails. If you take the online course with her I highly recommend keeping evidence of completed assignments because there will likely be errors and she won't be helpful with any glitches
Worst professor surprised they let her teach there. She literally cancels class multiple times and expects you to know everything, she also is stuck up and gives attitude when you send her emails. Just a lazy professor overall, most of lecture is about her trips and her daughter a lot of people got irritated in the class and she only grades a few.
worst. Also nobody cares about your daughter. Stick to your job even though you can barely do that.
she is very vague and will have you worried all quater what it is you are suppose to be doing in the class. Dont every try to send her emails as she doesnt respond to them.
Professor Cataldi's online class was great. Even though I never interacted with her, I felt like I had because of her recorded video lectures. The lectures were very informative, and I learned a lot. The lesson plans we had to complete were a great learning experience, and I feel confident going forward since this was my first time completing them.
I really enjoyed Professor Cataldi's class! She makes the lectures very interesting and fun because she tells us about her personal experience & her family! DO NOT leave the assignments for last minute (like what I did) because you will be overwhelmed! She is very approachable after class if you have any questions about any of the assignments!
I dont know how this professor is in person, but she was terrible online. She did not give directions on the final projects or let us know when our final would be until literally a week before they were due. She did not respond to emails in a timely manner. However the class was fairly easy, it was just incredibly stressful having an absent prof.
I would reccoment taking her class! She basically gives you the answers for hw for Geography 311
I reccomend taking her clsss! She gives you the answers for the hw from the geography worksheet. Besides the worksheets, you have to do 3 lesson plans which are easy! It was my first time doing a lesson plan and if I can do you, you can do it too! She only gave us 2 exams, mid and final and the exams are based on the hw so remember how to do them!
she's nice nice teacher. Just do the blogs, and you'll pass.
Due to the pandemic I had to take this class online thinking it was going to be tough. Professor Cataldi did not require a book for the course but we had to watch her recorded lectures and take quizzes which were really easy. we also had to do a midterm and final which were really easy as well. There is also an essay at the end but great teacher !
She provides both textbooks so you don't need to buy them. You have biweekly quizzes which are 5 questions and the answers are literally in powerpoints. You also have weekly blog posts about the reading. Her lectures are recorded so u can watch them whenever. Theres a midterm, final, and essay that are easy. EASY GRADER. You dont even have 2 read!
Professor Corrie provides the text for weekly reading assignments, so no need to purchase a book. Her grading is clear, there are weekly blogs on the reading, two quizzes, a midterm, a writing assignment and a final. The writing assignment is due towards the end of the semester and my advice, do not over think it and just do it
The first half of the semester was pretty easy just watching lecture videos & it has few questions. Then the other half is activities with videos. Professor usually gives all the info so its not too hard. There 3 lesson plans and one recorded + a project all was pretty easy. Don't over think it ! Start as soon as you can !! Exams are Fair.
shes a good professor! this class was really easy! only consists of 2 exams, 3major assignments (that are easy) and lab exercises. easy grading too!
