Prof. Dumesnil is the coolest teacher I ever had! He's hilarious (and sexy!). He is a great teacher.. will help you with anything! Take his class!!

Prof. Dumesnil was by far the best teacher I've ever had. I wish I could marry this brilliant/sexy man. If you take the smoking bod of Daniel Craig and combine it with the brain of Einstein you get Prof. Dumesnil. He also has some great pointers on surviving zombie attacks.

Homeboy is super fly, a little on the nerdy side, great at speaking gamer and has the best costumes.

Professor Dumesnil is a man of muscle and wit. On multiple ocassions he's taught class while bench pressing 300 pounds! Crazy? Impossible? No way! I had a hard time in his class because I was so busy drooling over him.

Mr. Cory Dumesnil is Funny, Smart, a Great teacher, and possibly a Mercenary. When asked, he will quickly tell you how many people he has killed with his bear hands...No, not "bare" hands, "Bear" hands. Yes, the man raises and trains bears!

Professor Dunesnil is new to teaching, but it does not show. His wit keeps his students attentive and his cute face helps too. He bridges the gap between math class and stand up comedy. If he were a professional comedian I know that I would want to attend all his performances... if you know what I mean.

Cory Dumesnil's precalculus algebra class was full of win (some would say winful). It was the academic version of drinking beer out of the stanley cup while getting a back massage from Cleopatra. I laughed! I cried! I lost 15 pounds! These are facts, people. Cory Dumesnil will make all of your wildest dreams come true. (Great class, folks.)

Math has been my absolute WORST subject since high school but somehow not only did I do well on his exams, I noticed I had actually learned when I was helping my friends in other sections of the same class!?!?! I don't know how he does it but TAKE HIS CLASS!!

Sir Dr. Prof. Cory (haha) was the most amazing Math teacher I have had, ever. He makes things interesting and fun. I never missed a class because I never knew what craziness I was going to miss. Math is my worst subject, but this semester it wasn't so bad. If you have the opportunity to take this class, TAKE HIM! The end.

I love this class. He makes you pay attention because he is a very funny teacher. The exams are not very easy, but studying and making the homework can easily give you an A or B in his class.

Hands down, one of the best teachers I have ever had. I am not a big fan of math, but he makes it easy. He goes over everything you need to know for each test, and is very clear. He's one of the funniest and coolest teacher/guy you'll ever meet. Do all the homeworks and you'll do fine.

I love math and it's always refreshing to encounter someone who shares the same passion. I just wish he taught some of the higher level classes beyond calculus. Definitely recommend for any class.

I'm an engineering major and i love math but this dude is hilarious. Best in class teacher i have ever had from a personal level and teaching level. Class is very easy and i took this class after being out of school for 2.5 years. He reviews and answers questions before quizzes. Hw is 10% of grade and you only need to do 50%. take him!!!!

Cory makes math so fun and made me come to school everyday looking forward to math. He is by far the best math teacher I've ever had. He is also hilarious, and will help you whenever you need it. He almost always ends class 20-30 minutes early. Small nitpick: He sometimes moves too fast in his lectures. But, I recommend Cory's class 100%.

Really interesting lectures and a lot of time for questions. The only reason to do bad in this class is if you don't dedicate. The class is hard but he really get you into it!

Listen, this guy breaks math down for you so well that a person like me who's horrible at math starts to actually get it. He's really helpful and witty. If you ever have the glorious opportunity to take him, DO IT, you won't regret it. Plus, he's a cutie;)

If you see his name for any Math class, TAKE IT! You will not regret it. Hands down, one of the best teachers at UNO. I took him for calculus 1 and 2 and I'm hoping for calculus 3. He's smart, nice, and hilarious.

Cory is great, but sometimes I wish he were more serious. He makes it look easy and fun, so if you are not careful, you might be tricked into a false sense of security. Overall, he explains everything really clearly and makes class enjoyable.

love cory! took him for calculus 1&2 and he is amazing. the tests can be tough but if you put forth the effort he will pass you with a good grade. Honestly, school will be miserable and boring next semester not having him as a professor.

I'm thankful every day that the Math Gods have bestowed upon UNO the services of the great Cory Dumesnil. With some hard work and some new moves, I should be able to defeat the eveel Calculus Monster for the first time. If I am able to complete the mission, with Cory's training, I will also take the fight to Calc II. Wish me luck.

Cory is a great teacher and is willing to meet outside of his normal office hours. He post practice test which highly represents the material you will be tested on. You will have to work, but you should get a good grade if you apply yourself.

Cory should teach every class! He's helpful and direct. He does improv on the side so his class ends up being entertaining. His lectures teach you just what you need to know, no unnecessary stuff; but feel free to ask any question. Quizzes are from the homework. Test questions are very similar to the practice test. Didn't pass? It's on you.

Straightforward lectures, examples from the book. Always willing to help. Gives reviews and study guides before exams. Also, hilarious.

Hooray for Cory. He is great with teaching this class and I was happy to take it with him this summer after what people told me about him. I took Jensen prior to him and after he left UNO and it was too much material with him but with Cory, i'm doing great in Discrete Math.

Cory is Hilarious. He knows the mindset of how the modern student learns. His teaching style is fun and he makes a logic hell like discrete math a fun subject. He is an improv actor1st and a math teacher 2nd. His was the first class that i ever looked forward to attending. He is like new math Ferrari, although his department has lot of 1945 VW bug.

I thought he was a great teacher. Hes pretty straight forward: if you do and understand the homework youll pass. The material can be pretty confusing but I think he does a great job explaining it. Hes in his office a lot and always willing to talk to his students

Cory is by far my favorite professor in ANY class I've taken in ANY subject. He's hilarious during his lectures, which got me engaged and helped me remember things. He's very approachable and understanding. He slows down lectures when necessary to wait for people to take notes, a rare phenomenon for a lot of professors. 12/10 TAKE HIM

You may find the course very hard in the beginning of the semester, but everything will be okay. Pay attention in class and try your best on the exams because they all matter. You have to try in his class in order to get a good grade. Don't be discouraged from your first exam or two, because in the end, you will be curved! (hopefully)

Very good guy. Should hold more power in the math department. Cares about students and does a good job conveying material. Will surely work with you if any difficulties, personal or school-wise arise.

You get out what you put in. The path is very clear with Corey. Go to class , do the homework, and follow his lead. His classes are interesting. His online classes are brief and to the point. You watch and work at your own schedule. Online quizzes and test are challenging , but very doable in the time allotted.

He is great and understanding. Due to this whole corona situation, classes were online. He answers all the emails and graded the paper in very timely manner. He made the whole exam taking process very easy. Communication was never the problem in this lockdown.

I've never officially had Cory as a professor. His sister taught me in high school, but he taught me in STEM Camp. I went to him for Calc help even though he wasn't my teacher and he emailed me a few times to even check up on me to see how I was doing. Great man!! I love him! He's also hilarious and I would take him for every class if I could!

Cory is honestly the best professor anyone could ever take at UNO. Not only is he kind and caring, he also has an amazing personality that makes his class easier to understand. He will never call anyone out or make anyone feel uncomfortable if you need help. He explains things in very simple ways. His class isn't hard if you actually pay attention.

One of the best Mathematics professors I have at at UNO. He's delivers amazing lectures that are never boring and makes Maths actually fun for the students and develops interest in them. He will always be there to help you whenever you need it.

Cory is one of the best Calculus teachers I have ever had. His lectures very very clear and quick which gave you the material very fast while being quick. I had taken advantage of those quick lectures and slacked off, so I made a C. Anyways if you put a good amount of effort into the class you will pass. 10/10 guy. 10/10 teacher.

Professor Cory is a genuinely good person. He actually makes class enjoyable and finds ways to keep his students seemingly stress free in the world of Calculus 2. Be prepared for a few dad jokes in his class. He is very available and loves helping students in any way possible. He is a much better option than many of the other Calc2 prof. TAKE HIM!!

He puts in effort to make his students laugh all the time and even shows us his dog, lentil. Really funny stuff going on each class but we still get the lecture done and he doesn't prolong it or get side tracked trying to be funny. Every Friday is a review day for the week, so a M/W/F class is basically a M/W class if you don't need the extra help.

Mr. Dumesnil is the best teacher I've had hands down. He's a naturally great instructor and he is passionate about teaching. He can be very funny and makes his courses a joy to take. He grades very fairly, and hes very nice. I wish I could take every class I have with Mr. Dumesnil.

Online Class with an etext that contains videos. Professor Dumesnil is a great teacher, he explains the Math well in his posted videos, which are better than the videos that came with the book. He also has worked through examples. He gives a good amount of time to do homework, which helps if you have heavy reading for other classes. Easy going prof

The lectures and tests are both heavily based on the notes he writes, whereas the homeworks are from the textbook and kind of disconnected from the rest of the class. Still a great teacher. He got me through Calc 3 when no one else could and I'd definitely take one of his classes again.

Professor Dumesnil is amazing at explaining topics in a way that anyone can understand. Lectures are not mandatory but show up because at most they are 30 minutes long and it's a lot easier to have him explain the topic instead of trying to learn it through the textbook. Test problems are fair and very similar to the homework problems he assigns.

I hate math, but this man's class was amazing. He's funny and a great teacher who breaks things down little by little. He works with everyone to make sure they understand it. Homework and tests were easy and straight to the point. As someone who is terrible at math, his class was great. He worked with me on late assignments and attendance.

Mr. Dumesnil is known as the best teacher at UNO and for a good reason. He loves to teach and hes very good at making subjects easy to learn at an advanced level. It's one of the few courses I look forward to taking, and he cares about his students. If you take ANY math classes at UNO make sure you take them with Mr. Dumesnil.

This teacher was one of the best instructors I've had here at UNO. He is great at teaching difficult subject matter and just seems like a great guy all around. I would recommend attending class everyday only because the subject is difficult. If you need any additional help though, he is always available to help you. I would take him again.

He truly is a great professor. Somehow he managed to make easy a difficult class like statistics. Pearson assignments were due until the exam date. there was a comprehensive final. He also uploads the lectures to canvas. if you miss and assignment, he'll let you turn it in at the end of the semester with a little penalization.

This professor genuinely made the class so easy to understand and actually interesting. There is a lot of work involved. However, they are always at the tutoring center or always respond to emails fairly quickly for any assistance needed. You can tell they're passionate about helping students. Definitely take a class with this professor if you can.

To make it short, for online discrete structures we had optional zoom lectures every M/W/F covering the unit we would go over at the time. Cory went right into the lectures and made it easy to understand. Was very inclusive of humor outside of the core content of the unit and when he needed to provide feedback, put it into a really easy perspective

great math professor, makes hard math somewhat easy to understand. he's always available if you need help so that's a bonus. homework are very hard but he'll guide you all the way if you go to his office. tests are fair, easier than homework, so if you do well on the h/w, you'll be fine on the test.

Cory is an absolute sweetheart who genuinely cares about his students. He's accessible outside class, albeit can be a bit slow to respond at times, but his passion for teaching is very evident. He's in the math tutor center a lot which is great for those who are on campus a lot & is beyond helpful. I absolutely adore him, would 1,000% take again!!!

He's literally the best professor ever. Very funny, great lectures. My onlyyyyyy complaint is he doesn't mention anything about homework, due dates, etc. It's really just on you to go on math lab and see when you have assignments due and to do them.
