Such a boss!

I had her for discussion in Beginning Workshop Fiction and is was my favorite class! Just do the very easy work, and you will be fine. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even look at it, just as long as you do it. She is super funny. Each class will be a new experience. I highly recommend taking her class.

An amazing teacher. She really enjoys teaching, which makes the class fun. She is super friendly and helpful. She will take her time to explain any questions. Three papers throughout the semester. They are super easy and fun, and she makes sure you pass. She is a really funny teacher. I always look forward to attending this class. Highly recommend.

Fowler is an incredible teacher and I enjoyed her in my ENG101 class so much that I'm taking her 102 class next semester. I've emailed her multiple times about questions I have had on a paper and she always gets right back to me. When it comes to grading, all she really looks for is a noticeable improvement from draft to draft and paper to paper

Easy A yet still a pretty informative class. She gives great feedback while making the class absurdly entertaining and funny!

She is GREAT! The class is easy and was online but you can tell she really cares about her students. She is a good teacher as well and I felt like I learned a lot even though it was such a short class. You pretty much have to post every single discussion board but that only helps your grade!

She is amazing! She is a great teacher. Because it is an online course you don't really learn a ton but she has helped me improve my writing immensely! She is very understanding if you have a conflict that prevents you from doing something on time. She's just an overall good professor and person.

Professor Fowler is great. Even though this was a really short online course I enjoyed it so much that I plan on taking classes with her in the future. She really cares about you as a student and about your writing abilities more than any other english professor I have had in college.

Awesome Profeesor

This class was super fun, Professor Courtney Fowler inspired me a lot for writing, she's sweet and caring for her students, especially those who care. She doesn't focus a lot on grammar and spelling but mainly on ideas and how they flow in the text. Best English professor I've ever had!

I had Mrs Fowler for English 101 and it was the easiest class ever. One a few tests and group projects. She is hilarious. Funny without even trying and loves talking about her life and telling funny stories. I definitely recommend her.

Prof. Fowler is an extremely understanding teacher, who has your best interests at heart. She is fair in grading and the amount of homework given.

Awesome professor, I had her for English 101 and 102. Super nice and funny, and perfect for anyone just starting out as a freshman. I'm actually sad I have no more room in my schedule to take one of her creative writing classes during my time here. All in all, you need english credit? TAKE HER! PROFESSOR FOWLER ROCKS!! She is very understanding and does an amazing job keeping you interested in what you're learning. We created a class podcast and an individual one which was fun. She is a fairly easier grader and wants students to succeed. Wish I was taking her next semester!!

Best English class I've taken. Fowler is a creative in a Professors job. she teaches English skills in non-traditional ways. She's extremely supportive, pushing you to work hard on the primary project. The 7.5-week course is short, but not stressful, the projects make sense and aren't all busywork. Talking to her after class was easier than email.

Prof. Fowler is so funny and truly cares about her students and classes that she teaches! She is an amazing professor that gets to know her students on a personal level. By far one of the best teachers I have had at ASU!

100/10 would recommend taking any of her classes. She talks as if she isn't the teacher but your friend. She lets you turn in late work and will give you full points for it as well. Theres no tests and half the time class consists of just talking. If you ever have any outside problem you can email her and she will always be open to talk. Great gal.

Fowler is probably my favorite ever. I had her for ENG101 and im taking her for ENG102. other than her class being half semester and 3 hours long, the class is really easy and she always gives you opportunities to help you get an A. she also rarely has us stay for the whole class time, and it goes by pretty fast since she tries to make class fun.

Honestly the best professor I have ever had. The easiest A ever. Her rule is no one gets a B.

Dr Fowler is an awesome professor and ENG217 was interesting and easy. Each week theres (short) readings on a particular reflective writing style with a 500 word imitation due. At the end of the class, a full reflective essay is due. Due dates werent strict and as long as I submitted writings correctly I got 100%. Very interesting material too.

Prof Fowler is one of the best professors hands down. She is genuinely entertaining and makes the assignments engaging. If you are able to, take your courses with her.

Professor Fowler is one of the best professors I have had the pleasure to have for my ENG 102 class, which is required for a lot of first-year students! She teaches session A and B classes, so her English classes are at an accelerated pace, so the workload may be on the heavier side if you aren't used to it. She is amazing, an excellent professor!

Stop searching and take this professor. Even as a person that dislikes English, this class was enjoyable and I felt that I learned a lot. She is a pretty easy grader and very flexible with assignments. One of the essay prompts I straight up couldn't write about and she let me alter the prompt to fit me. I would highly recommend taking her.

WOW! Never have I ever encountered an S Tier/A+ professor, like Professor Fowler! This instructor knows how to teach! She is fair with her assignments, and doesnt assign pointless busy work. In fact, I actually ENJOYED the assignments, which is a rarity for me. I will admit, I looked on RMP before taking this class, and the reviews dont lie!

Take Mrs. Fowler's class! She's the best teacher ever. The key to doing well in her class is to attend lectures and PARTICIPATE. Read the syllabus and DO the work and you will do well. If you skip class, don't expect special treatment. The creative project work was exciting and different from all my other English classes. 10/10

She is very involved with the classroom and is a very good speacker...to the point she will get very close to you! The class feels connected and is very tight knit. I hate English but she makes me wanna become an English teacher.

Honest. At times blunt. Chatty. Will change your life against your will. Quality assignments and material will be research heavy. Basically, "DONT BE BORING."

Don't listen to that 3/5 person. She is AMAZING. Yes, she may get off of track but I look forward to this class everyday. For this semester I even made my schedule around this 102 class. The conversations are thought evoking. I took only honors classes in high school and this class is REFRESHING. Best class EVER. This is how school should be.

often goes on existential crisis tangents during class, which is very relatable. honestly one of the best professors i've ever had, very intellectually profound & lenient on due dates, never fails to make me feel safe about asking any questions or having any comments. she also has an incredibly great understanding of our sociocultural modern realm.

So sweet, can't recommend her enough. Very interesting and engaging, with activities and prompts that invoke deeper thought and introspection. Is also very flexible and understanding with deadlines.

Take this Class and any other class that Professor Fowler offers. caring for her students and has an unorthodox way of teaching. Easiest A you will get at a college level. She knows how to connect personally with her students to tap into their creative writing skills and is just a good person and respects her students. you will love her.

I loved having this class with her. She made going to class enjoyable but also useful. She got to the point with her assignments while she was easily accessible and very very funny and interesting. I would retake her class in a heartbeat if I could.

I absolutely loved taking a class with Prof. Fowler. She is the kindest person and really wants to make sure you pass her class. The assignments were really easy and all done in class, so really no homework. She is always there to help. She also keeps the class engaged and tells random but funny stories. 10/10 recommend!

Professor Fowler is such a kind individual. The class is structured as 3 projects, and then discussion posts. All the assignments are pretty easy and straightforward & she is supper easy to contact if you need clarification. She is compassionate to your personal life and accepts late work with no penalty. I wish I could take her class again! I wrote a story for her and I've never really written and she gave me such great feedback that pushed me to write more and possibly become a writer! She's such a gem. She changes her topics of teaching every semester. Mine was Fairy Tales, Horror, and Fears. Super cool!

Genuinely a great professor. She is very kind and would have very engaging lectures. This class is a lot easier than any other English class and is overall a fun class to take with friends because of the projects.

Courtney is such a great Professor it's hard to express how glad I am I got her! Super sweet, funny, and has a teaching style that makes english fun while also teaching skills in a way that makes you look forward to the class! If you have the opportunity, definitely take her.

Professor Fowler is amazing! I 100% recommend her. She teaches english 101 in a non traditional way however makes you write essays about actually interesting topics. We also had a podcast project where you could choose any topic which was super fun. The 2 hour 45 minute goes by quickly.

Professor Fowler is amazing. She began the class by letting us know AI has changed the way she runs her class: writing is in-class so you can't use chatgpt. Some people who obviously planned to use Ai to write their papers got upset, but as someone who cares about my education, I felt grateful. This was the class that taught me that I love English!

got off topic a lot but made class fun. got us engaged, always kept us on our toes and made us dig deep into each topic. only one essay, and it was all done in class which I liked.

This absolute diva... One of the chillest professors I've ever had and I wish I had been able to take an in-person class from her because she was just so sweet! Easy assignments that she didn't even grade based on quality of work, all she asks of you is that you don't use AI!!

I think you would have to be 5 years old to do bad in this class(I suspect some the negative reviews are secretly 5...) Anyways Fowler is a girl boss who slays the house down. Take this class if it's required and you want to have a good time no cap.

Still got a few weeks left of this class and I literally love her so much im taking 102 with her because shes just like that fr. She talks about the most random things in class its literally free comedy. Like why is she talking about playboi carti at 10 in the morning. The work in class is literally so easy and english is actually fun in this class

I LOVED Professor Fowler. She made the long 3-hour classes (Session A) fun and made the class into a project that you can take and actually gain something from even after the class is over. Take her, but don't think it will be so easy that you do nothing, you have to do the work to gain something.
