She is actually a good teacher. She offers this packet that you can print out to help with notes. Print it, it is actually extremely helpful and you don't have to do anything pretty much. The only bad thing about the class is mathlab but I don't she controls that. Best teacher yet.

Great teacher, real down to earth. Very nice and has a light, upbeat attitude with her students. First day of class was all introduction and talking about herself and introducing yourself. Fair grader, gives partial credit when you show your work, sometimes extra credit, lots of opportunities to have control over your grade. Always offering to help

I'm so glad I took Mrs. G for STATS. You'll have online HW (MyStatLab), 4 test, and a final. She posts notes for you to print out and bring to class that really help so you don't have to rush to write every word problem down. As long as you come to class and keep up with the HW, you'll get an A. Mrs. G is great! Don't miss out on her class.

Ms. G really is passionate about teaching and wants her students to pass. I don't like statistics but she made it interesting and somewhat fun. All your homework is online and she has occasional pop quizzes that are open note. Gives some extra credit. Her final exam is the exact thing as the study guide but less questions.

You do work in groups, EVERYDAY. She is the sweetest teacher ever, and her work is easy. Make sure you go to lab every Friday. Her final IS cumulative.

Most amazing math teacher ever. She explains things in the simplest form, there is no reason to not understand it the first time around. Mrs. Gegenheimer is overall a good teacher. She is very clear in what to expect in her class. Her classes are not really hard. They are tough but if you study you will do fine. Expect homework for each chapter. She is clear explaining every chapter. Sometimes, she get absent a lot. 3-4 Times a semester but I would definitively recommend her.

She's a great teacher, with the only thing I don't like would be the pop quizzes. She answers her email pretty quickly, so if you have questions expect it to be answered in a couple hours. She's really nice and class is mostly just notes. The tests itself are 15 multiple choice and 5 free response. She's always there to help and I'd take her again.

She is whatever. Very good teaching but she have no consideration. NO EXTRA CREDIT FOR COLLEGE ALGEBRA which made me fail the class. Is really complicated. Is unfair because she give Extra Credit for MAT1033C and STA2023 but not for MAC1105. Not very professional.

I hate math but she made things simple for me, you have to study and do the labs and homework. She gives extra credit work , pop quizzes at the end of class. Very easy to get in contact with. We played games on review days which was cool.

Fill in the blank lecture notes, MyMathLab Homework, lab assignments and quiz, each week has a 50 min requirement in the Math Lab on campus, a few pop quizzes, gives extra credit. I love Mrs.G. I wish I could take her for every math class. Math really isn't my strong point but her fill in notes, homework, and study guides really help you to understand. Do your homework and complete her study guides which are similar to tests and you will get an A!

She is an amazing teacher. Homework is done all on Mathlab and you get unlimited tries to get an 100, plus has a great feature that teaches you to solve the problems just in case you forget. (College Algebra) Didn't passed her class only because I didn't tried my best, but DEFINITELY do take her. Her fill-in notes are clear and MyMathLab is needed to pass the class. Do her Test reviews, very helpful. Tests are a bit difficult, but with lots of work you will pass. She's super willing to help if you are lost.

This is by far one of the most amazing professors I've had. She posts the notes online so all you have to do is print it out and bring it to class to follow along. She breaks the math down in a way you can understand it. Homework is a big pat of your grade so keep up with it. Her test are multiple choice and easy. She gives plenty of extra credit

A must have if you're taking statistics, she provides a great deal of help to the point that the grade you get is purely determined by how much you study/understand the subject. Her final is a joke, and contrasts greatly with her other tests difficulty-wise.

I had previously taken stats in High School (i sucked), so i was nervous heading into stats again. I must say, Mrs G is great! Lectures are well spoken, notes are online to be printed and brought to class to be filled in, the HW isn't hard, and test are easy if you study with the study guide. I would take any math class with her. She's awesome.

Professor really sets you up for success. She takes the time to create notes that you fill in and use in lieu of a textbook. I will probably save the notes forever. HW is on MyStatLab and is a great way to boost your grade in the class, so stay up to date with all HW. Really loved the class with Mrs. G -- would definitely take again!

Mrs. G is great. I liked her a lot; however, even tho I got an A my experience was rocky. She cancelled 7 classes & we didn't do anything on the schedule aside from test & lectures. We only did 1 review for a test & it was a fun game Kahoot. HW is on Math Lab, Printable lecture notes (bring to class), easy test & easy final. Take her, shes great.

If you come to class and do all your homework completely through you will do fine. She goes through and and gives you everything you need to get an A in her class. The only way you fail this class is if you don't try.

She is always willing to answer any of your questions. The tests are just like the reviews and the final is pretty easy if you studied well all semester.

Mrs. G was my first math teacher at Valencia. The class was a good refresher and pretty easy to follow if you paid attention. If you listen well and keep up with due dates you should have no problem in her class.

Professor Gegenheimer is awesome! I was told that statistics is hard but, in her class she makes it look like elementary school math. She explains each section so well that there is no way you can not get it. She really cares that you know the material and gives good feedback to her students. She will work with you after class if she has to.

She is a great professor. Her class is not that hard and even if you don't understand something she is more than willing to help in or out of class. The only piece of advice i would give is TO GO TO THE LABS ON FRIDAYS! It is really easy to forget, and that's really the only thing that brought my grade down. Hmwrk is easy and test are not that hard

I have never enjoyed, and still dont enjoy math as a subject. The subject has never come easy to me. Prof G made math so understandable to me and quite enjoyable. This was by par the best Professor I have ever had in a math class. I wish I could retake her for every math class. Valencia should feel lucky with employing such a great professor.

Best stats professor ever. Homework is always due 6 days after lecture. Professor Gegenheimer lets you use formula sheet on the midterm and final exam.

Professor is very passionate about statistics and has a great personality. Homework due every week online, few online quizzes, few in class activities, 1 midterm and 1 final. You are able to do the online hw and quizzes as many times as it takes to get a 100 which really helps with your final grade. Study guides are right on point!

She is awesome ! Statistics is a hard class, but she makes it very easy and manageable. She gives study guides for exams. If you font miss the class, you will pass with A. Exams are easy. Take her!

Statistics is not an easy course but I understood the material well. I took this course online and she made it very easy to follow through when it came to deadlines. Homework and quizzes are unlimited tries until the deadline. Practice problems are given for the midterm and final so just practice and practice!

AMAZING MATH teacher!! Professor G gives you what you NEED. She's simple and teaches the material very well. If you just show up to lecture and do the MySTAT Labs, it should be an easy A. You only have 3 exams and she does provide a formula sheet. She also offers extra credit. There's NO reason for anyone to fail her class. She's kind and flexible.

She gives great worksheets that are easy to follow as you watch the videos of her explaining each problem. You get unlimited chances on the homework to help you learn the material and three chances on quizzes to better your score. If you have any questions, she responds quickly and accurately. I am scared to take math classes, however, professor G really helped simplify statistics. I wish she posted more videos on every concept we learned because it really helped with understanding what I was learning. She posts powerpoints for each topic so that also aided with learning.

If you're not very good at math (or you are), take her! I did her online class but also came into her in-person class when I didn't understand a certain topic. She is absolutely amazing at explaining concepts, and she's really caring. She does do a 1 question group pop quiz almost every class in-person, but they're pretty easy.

I really enjoyed her class. She answers my emails within one day at the most and is always ready to help. She gives you chances to fix some things and is overall a great teacher. I learned a lot in her class and look forward to taking her for statistics.

There are no tests so thats great! Only quizzes after certain topics. She is a amazing teacher super nice and teaches at a good pace. Math is tricky in general so just do your homework and that calculator will be your best friend.

An amazing teacher that will stop at nothing to get the lesson and the point across. Yes, there is a lot of course work but this teacher makes it easy to handle and worth learning.

Professor G is great, she sends out weekly reminders for assignemnts and allows you to improve your grade until the midterm and final respectively. The class can be trying if you have a hard time grasping the info but she is very open to help you get it. I recommend if you have prior stats experience or are willing to put in the effort to learn.

its v reliant on Pearson which can get frustrating. TI-84 is required (u can use the trial software tho). couple hw assignments due on Sundays, + quiz then a wkst which is hand graded is usually due midweek. there were 3 discussion posts too. I absolutely hate statistics but I did pull thru kinda easy, & the work didnt take super long to do

I hate statistics more than words can say, but Mrs. G made it tolerable. Her videos are much more clear than another stats prof I attempted the course with before and anyone can get through it if they put the time and effort into it. Choose her if you must take stats!

Assignments/quizzes/tests are fairly simple and are on MyMathLab. Be aware though for the handwritten assignments/show your work portions, that she is a tough grader.

You will not find a kinder and more accommodating professor than Mrs. G! Very flexible due dates for homework and available to answer questions at all hours of the day. Her video lectures are easy to follow, and they tell you everything you need to know to get a good grade in the class. 100% recommend

Ms Gegenheimer was an AMAZING PROFESSOR! All quizzes, HW and test are in my statlab. No procters and responds to emails fast! If your late on an assignment email her and she'll let you make it up! Made out with a B+.

Professor Gegenheimer is kind and cares about her students. The assignments are divided between mymathlab and canvas. She is a tough grader on the assignments through canvas, as you have to show your work. If you ask for help you will receive it. She makes stats easy, I highly recommend.

Best math professor ever. She is amazing and explains everything in detail. This is my second time taking her for another course and I don't regret it at all. I wish more professors were like her. She has assignments due on Wednesday and Sunday. Spaced out so that it is easier to do other classes. Just proctored exams that must be taken in person.

I did terribly in this class but that was absolutely my fault. She is super nice, and has times to study in the math lab set up for you. Sadly we had a sub most of last semester due to things out of her control, but when she was there I was able to understand what she was doing. She loves solving problems and will happily go over them again. :)

Although she occasionally would be absent from class and would either be on zoom or a substitute she was honestly a very helpful professor. She made it easy to understand the topics. People who failed her class were people who probably didn't show up to class or made the effort to actually try. Homework was okay. Failed this course before fyi.

Even though Mrs.G was online, she records all of her lectures as youtube videos, so as long as you are able to make yourself watch those, you'll do well in this class. Homework was practically the same thing in the videos, and you have about a week to do every test. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who asked!

I'll give her credit for taking new suggestions from students. Good Stats. Prof, and makes the subject easy to understand, and the class is mostly math formula-based, nothing too complicated. The workload is not overwhelming, but the due dates could be more organized. Overall, I found stats to be very easy if you read her lectures.

Although she was out for half the semester since this class was online it wasn't too much of an issue in terms of learning. Easy homework and test, her lectures were very thorough, and I almost never had questions/issues.

Great professor, online course designed well so you understand the material as you need it. Watch the videos, take notes, do the homework, and you won't have any issues on the quizzes or exams. If you need your handheld more, take an in-person class.

Mrs. Gegenheimer was a good professor for me to have. This term was really rough on me because of sudden family hardships that hit, but she understood that I needed time to get things done. She is also a really busy woman, but she made sure to put aside time for students that needed to get on Zoom calls to get some extra help.

Obviously math is not easy for everyone but this professor is amazing and understanding you just have to do your Lab Homework and she does use honorlock for the exam but other than that you will be fine

She was very professional while also maintaining her humanity. she does give a fair amount of work, and it's easy to fall behind if you don't pay attention to her coursework. But I couldn't recommend her more for that! When I expressed that I was falling behind, she worked with me to remediate my grade and work around deadlines. Awesome professor!

Not bad but she is very bad at responding emails so if you have issues or do not understand something beware of that, but she has 3 assignments a week with short video explanations required before starting the assignment, watching those videos is the only way of learning, also has labs (easy) and show your work assignments every other week
