Courtney Powell is very laid back in her teaching style. It was an Easy A. If you miss a day or miss an assignment she'll take time to get your missing work. We never had homework because she tries to fit the curriculum into class. She is good at introducing new perspectives and likes to make us think. Other EDUC professors are much tougher.

She is a tough grader yes but it makes you a better student and a harder worker. She gives little homework and few tests and will work with you if you miss some work on the side. The only way you can really fail this class is to not show up to it, which in my part was every so often.

there is not much of a way for you to fail this class . the only way you would fial is if you dont show up to class and you dont do anything. if you show up and just do your work you will be fine.

She is very friendly and is full of information about the campus. She is very helpful and will try her best to answer all your questions.

She really helped me with the confusion and uneasiness to want to continue to attend school. If I hadn't spoke to her I might not have wanted to sign up for classes next semester. She's very involved and into you and your needs. She understands the struggles of life. She listens to everything you have to say before giving her advice. I will come back and ask her for help if I ever need it in the future.

I very much enjoyed this class. It is not writing intense but you do have to write papers, the attendance policy is very lax and she is available out of class ..

From the start of class we all had good chemistry with the teacher. She made the class more active with each other. Assignments were easy. Either you do them or you fail. Plain and simple... Other than that her discussions in class are life relevant so you kind of grow from each class period as a college student. Over All A++ Class

I wasn't looking forward to this class, but on the first day it was great. As long as you show up and do all the work you're good to go. She has us participate with other classmates which I think is great. She's willing to talk to you and help with any questions you may have. She's very understanding.

Easy and Clear. Is really up to you if you want to pass a easy class that is required. Ms. Powell really just makes it so easy, it would be offensive to fail her class. No way around it. It's really helpful if you have no idea where to star. At first I was upset because I though it was a waste of time but I learned some pretty cool stuff.

Shes a good professor. She helped me learn about myself and what career I wanted to do. Only major homework here is the paper about your career of choice but that is not that hard.

This class is very much a show up and pass. If you attend each lecture you'll more than likely pass with an A.

This class was the best thing I could have done for my first year in college. Professor Powell helped me learn a lot. I wish I could take it again. The homework is not hard at all, and if you keep up with it, easy A+ all the way!! I would definitely recommend Professor Powell to anyone.

She makes the material fun and interesting. It's an easy class if you do the homework, which isn't a lot. Cares about the students and wants to make sure everyone understands before she moves onto the next topic.

This class is too easy to fail. As long as you do the online work and in class work, you'll very rarely EVER have any homework and you'll pass with a definite A. The only semi-tough homework was the Career Research but that was helpful for discovering the challenges of your Career Path or even discovering one. Attendance part of your grade.

Do your assignments on time and don't take them for granted.

She's great! She really cares about her students and makes sure that everyone can pass her class. Very informal and you can easily get a passing grade by showing up every day. The final is a breeze and she makes sure to keep your other responsibilities in mind so she doesn't put too much work on you. There are no tests outside the final.

Prof. Powell is a good professor, but she spends most of her class time talking about personal things. She is nice most of the time, but can be hard to reach when you really need help. She tries to be very social with her classmates, but that can easily detract from the learning environment. All in all, Prof. Powell was okay.
