This class was the biggest waste of my time and money. The course is absurdly easy and I felt like I was stuck in high school. Just another reason GenEd is a joke.

Very easy, likes to tell personal stories, class is a joke though...lectures are random and full of useless information, which makes tests rather subjective and harder than they should be if you don't know the answer that is exactly what he said in lectur

Abrahamson says see what I mean a lot but i love him anyways! Don't really hafta go to class.I never went but i got As on the super easy assignments and Bs on the test w/out studyin! He is so weird but its cool.

His stories are hilarious. He's a little boring, but the class is easy and I'm very glad I took it. I recommend the class to all my friends.

Great teacher. The class material is extremely boring and comparable to a high school health class, but his stories make going to class enjoyable. No need to buy a book if u go to class.

Sometimes a little boring in lecture, but if you take good notes, that's exactly what's on the test. Grades papers very easy!

Very boring lectures, but he allows students to sleep! Tells too many jokes and many personal stories but they're funny. Older guy, takes a while to hand back assignments, test aren't that bad but not many grades in the class overall. Don't need book.

I'm gonna miss this class. Fun class dynamics, ridicluously simple content. Amucing jokes. Take THESE classes to complete cluster 5.

Content might seem kind of boring at the beginning but he makes the class very intersting with funny stories and funny remarks about his life. Good teacher, knows his stuff.

Goes off material to share personal stories all the time. Really boring lectures, all he does is talk. Tests are the lectures, 2 papers. Takes attendance. He rides his bike to work and wears a shower cap when it rains, looks like a hippie.

great professor, so easy. material isn't too bad at all. tests come straight from lectures. do the online practice quizzes, some of the questions will be on the test word for word. loved this class, minimal studying and i got an A.

Outstanding professor. He makes himself very accessible. Always willing to help with studying, papers, etc. Very laid back and accomodating, willing to help with personal problems, as well as academic ones. watch out for his stories, though.

Dr. Abrahamson was by far my favorite professor at JMU. Ask him about his client's ice cream bath...or the time when he almost chopped off his foot while cutting wood...

This class is pretty easy, but I feel like I'm getting nothing out of it since all class consists of is telling stories with no content. Won't let you out even a minute early.

Not a terribly interesting subject, but not too bad. People complain about his story telling, but I actually like his stories and would rather hear those then listen to course content. He likes participation and class interaction, so just do it for the mans sake!

Awesome prof, he explains so clearly and tells a lot of stories so you get his point. I took it at 8am and it had to be one of the best 8ams in the world. Highly highly higly recommend him for any of the geics.

Amusing lectures, a mix of regergitation and thought stimulation. One of the few classes I'd be willing to take early in the morning. His lifestyle is definitely outside of the norm.

Really awesome professor!! You should take him if you can! You have to come to class to get the notes, because the tests are straight from them; I hardly read the book and got an A. You have to study to do well though!! One observational study and 2 other papers, but they weren't bad at all.

Don't even bother buying the book because the test are STRAIGHT from his notes. By far the easiest teacher I have ever had. He's very nice and helpful and you find out every detail of his life during class.

Hands down, the EASIEST class I've ever taken. I slept through this class and still got an A-. But when I was awake, he was very interesting. Tells lots of stories from his own life. And he's hilarious. One of the best teachers at JMU. Tests are straight from the notes. Book not necessary.

Easy class if you can stay awake. I took it at 8AM, so I either didn't go to class or I fell asleep. Tests are straight from the notes. One easy group project, and one 5 page paper.....they'll boost your grade though. Definitely worth taking for the Cluster 5 GenEd....and so much easier than psychology...just not at 8AM.

The bestest, easiest, funniest, enjoyably amazing class I've taken my entire life. He's so awesome! Sometimes I saw him riding his little bike with his yellow showercap on. He's a great professor and a counselor. I LOVE ABRAHAMSON

This guy is the ####ING MAN! Not only is the class easy, his lectures are decent. Cool guy with some insane stories.

Overall class is very easy! But if you take it at 8am it may be hard to stay awake...Abrahamson is a good professor, material is not hard at all, easy A!

Easiest Cluster 5 class ever. It's early, but just go to class and take notes and you'll get an A. Tests are only 50 questions! Don't buy the book, it's worthless; never opened it all year and got ripped off at the bookstore at the end. Stories are great, definitely make boring material way more interesting. All in all, great professor!

This class is at 8am but he does a lot to keep you awake and it's fairly simple. Go to class, take notes and you will do fine on the tests. The tests are only 50 questions and if you go to lectures they are really simple. He's a funny man and his stories are out there so beware! TAKE HIM!

Overall,he's a great teacher,although you may think he's wierd when you see him the first time. His class is not hard and his lectures are interesting. He will make you laugh every class period by sharing his "incredible" exprience. You should take him.

He is an awesome teacher. Had him at 8 am but still stayed wide awake with his stories. He is very quirky but in a good way and has no qualms about sharing relevant details of his life. absolutely go to the lectures. The test is directly from the lecture pay attention to any statistic quoted in the lecture especially.

Prof Abrahamson is a great teacher!! He doesn't do boring powerpoints like others do. All his lectures are interesting and he uses real life examples to help you remember the material. Any class at 8 a.m. is going to SUCK but with abrahamson, its not bad. He's fair and flexible with exams and projects. Def take him!!

He is a great teacher. You have to understand the concepts in order to get a good grade, but I really enjoyed his stories! I would take him again!!

Awesome professor! Made class fun and enjoyable to come to. two papers worth 200 points of your final grade, both very easy to get high A's on. Tests can be difficult, but once you learn what he wants, it gets easier. Lectures from the textbook, do not HAVE to have the textbook, but I would buy it, as it does help ALOT with studying. Take him! =)

Very nice, approachable, helpful man. Has a lot of life experience and likes to use it to supplement course material (in the form of stories). Has an unconventional and conceptual approach to teaching that I came to appreciate.

Those quotes WILL be your test questions. He'll have you write great introspective papers...definitely worth your time!

Dr. A is great! He tends to ramble sometimes, but his stories and quotes and insights are great and funny. He is not a hard grader, he will give you an A as long as you put forth effort. Love him!

best professor i've had at JMU thus far and I'm a junior. He makes class interesting and his stories are hilarious. GREAT TEACHER! tests can be kind of tricky. just study and take notes and you'll be fine. tests are basically just from the notes. maybe two questions from book per test.
