I'm rating this teacher even though the semester just started because he is new. So far, he strike me as a young teacher, but very knowledgeable and passionate about his area of expertise. He can sometimes digress wildly to the point that an entire class is taken up with nonessential (yet engaging) dialogue. This should be an interesting class.

I am wrapping up a semester with Craig and I have to say he is incredibly intelligent! He really knows what he's talking about and loves getting the class into debates over any topic. The exams are hard but I can honestly say I'm learning A LOT! He almost makes me want to be a political science major. I highly recommend him if you have to take it.

He is a very easy professor and he makes Political Science interesting by putting his personality into it. He is very outgoing and straight forward..The tests are essay style but the notes he gives you are VERY clear..you won't find an easier professor where you actually learn not only about Political Science, but how to think like a scholar.

Craig's one of the best teachers I've had since I've been in college. He's passionate about teaching and politics. He wants students to gain more than a basic understanding of government. He wants you to understand the philosophy behind politics as well. He pushes Catholicism a bit much, which may be inappropriate, but he's still a great teacher

Professor oopps my bad Craig is a GREAT!!! teacher. Make sure that you read the readings & take notes. Test, Midterm, Quizes: he basically give you the answers and the question before he makes that test. Magic Words: "Thats a great ... qestion" those words mean that it will be on the test. I coulnt stand POLS I like it now.

Craig is very versed in the details about U.S. government. "Democracy in America" and "The Federalist Papers" are very useful texts. One semester with Craig will almost compel you to attend a class field trip with him to Washington D.C.!

Craig is a brilliant professor he is political science so he knows everything about it but if you debate him he loves it. Class is very interesting. Class setup:Debate(sometimes),reading,lecture/notes,participation (very important), essay format tests(only 2), pop quizzes(count a lot) He is hard but it will be a fun class during the journey!

Craig is the best professor i have ever had. I hated poli sci until he made it so interesting....plus he is super hottt~~!!!! especially when you see him in regular casual cloths. class is challenging. Just like any other classes you must attend it and read the required material. plus he gives you a study guide make sure you know that completely!!!

I always hated politics before i had Alberts class, but he got me interested. He has a passion for what he teaches and that makes the class so much more fun. He does expect you to try hard and do your work but its not much at all, just reading. you will never fall asleep in his class, hes very interactive with everyone. Hes funny & great!!take him.

I learned a lot in his class! He really challenges you to think. Thinks very highly of himself. I got the impression he favored certain students. Cannot control his classroom. To get a good grade, you MUST STUDY!!!!

He is so hott! and his class is awesome just be sure to really do the homework because the quiz grades will add up!

An easy A if you apply yourself... only 3 tests including the final. Pop quizzes every week over readings, but if you're good at just skimming over things, you're in good shape. You really have to study come test time, but there's only 3 of them. He's super arrogant, but easy.

He is a great teacher! He makes learning intersting! He did allow certain students to "run" the class and had favorites as well. He was a good teacher it was a great class!

AMAZING teacher...his class is not easy for most people (this is because most people are too lazy to study) but he tells you what you need to study which helped me get an A in this class. He is hilarious (although a bit raunchy at times) and definitely THE most interesting professor I have ever had. I HATED to miss class.

This guy personally, bugs me - because we have dif. personalities and his grates on my nerves. He is a good professor though and cares about his students. He will talk to you anytime in his office. His exams are KILLER, but passable if you study. Read a lot - quiz every day. Do not take if you're easily offended - he'll offend you. Talk in class!

He is one of the best, make sure you read there is a quiz every week. As for the exams dont be scared he tells you exactly what you need to know. He is cool you wont even notice your learning anything until the end because you will have so much fun!!!

Dr. Albert was a wonderful teacher. Explains things so that the subject is completely understandable. Definitely do the reading! The quiz grades add up! He's very big on the philosophical aspect of political science, so if you can't think philosophically, he's probably not a good match. Is arrogant, but funny about it. I will take him again.

Dr. Albert is fantastic . He is the absolute epitome of the enlightened gentleman. I loved his class!! He is very dedicated to his students as well as his beliefs. Dr. Albert is open to the opinions of all his students and hopes to see them succeed. He does not hand out grades you have to earn them. In short TAKE HIS CLASS!!

I had Dr. Albert this past summer and all I can say is that he is the best teacher I have ever taken in my life. His tests are hard but he provides a very comprehensive study guide. He also provides the notes so there is no reason not to get an A. If you want an inspiring, funny professor then I highly recommend taking Dr. Albert.

Craig is an awesome professor. He doesn't "pick favorites" he simply interacts more with the students who participate and come to class to think-not the ones who sit and stare at the walls. He has his own opinions, just as we all do, and most of the time he expresses them to encourage other students to challenge it. I would definitely recommend him

In this world of professors reading mindlessly from Power Point presentations, Prof. Albert rises through the haze and demands that students think for themselves. Every class is centered on student led discussion. He is a political philosopher, and instructs students in the ways of impartial, logical deliberation. Take him to enrich you mind.

I loved Dr. A He really engages w/the students that interact but he doesnt pick favs. He really wants all of his students to do well and tries to help any way he can. He gives u a study guide w/all the info that will be on the exam-STUDY IT! He does want you to read bc he is completely obsessed w Tocqueville so there are pop quizzes. One of my favs

Dr. A is an awesome professor thats definitely worth taking. He DOESN'T pick faves and gives everyone a fair chance in class. Your grades directly reflect the effort you put forth so its as easy as you want it to be. His lectures are hilarious and they make class worth while. He's not so bad to look at either if that sparks your interest!

Finally ..... a professor who understands the art of provocative thought. Craig is a FANTASTIC professor and you are cheating yourself if you miss the chance to take him. The class is NOT easy but oh so worth the effort!! The experience you gain in Craig's class is more valuable than most of the other classes you will ever take in college!

GREAT professor. He wants us to think outside the box and make your own educated opinions rather than choosing the popular belief. He dresses like a PROFESSIONAL. He is extremely funny,very opinionated and devout, however he welcomes those who have differing opinions and faiths to be themselves.The work is challenging, and that makes it worth it.

Awesome teacher! He is young and stands firm in his beliefs but is fun and wants to get to know you as a student. I recommend BUT you will have to read 40-50 pages of Tocqueville's book between each class. The good part is you get to take notes and use them on quizzes.

Craig is an awesome teacher. His aim is not to just regurgitate textbook information to prepare for a multiple choice test. He provokes students to actively debate topics and become interested. I miss his class.

Craig Albert is an INCREDIBLE professor. His class makes you apply yourself, both personally and academically. You do have to talk in class, it is a big portion of your grade. There is a LOT of work involved, but it is one class I felt as if I got out of it what I put into it. Outside of class, he is a GREAT mentor. Not easy, but got an A.

Dr. A is a jedi, no really his class is awesome and will teach you so much. But if your not gonna do the work and study a ton, then you should most likely take another professor.

His class is hard, but fun and you will learn a lot. You have to be willing to do the work and study hard, if you aren't willing to do the work and study take a different professor. Dr. Albert is awesome though he keeps the class interesting. He encourages you to think for yourself and wants you to learn actually learn not just memorize information

Ok so Dr. A is the best teacher i've ever had. He makes the class very interesting even if you dont like govt. He is a genius but also very chill and funny. the only thing you need to be prepared to do is study for his exams. they are off the wall hard.. however if you study ask questions take good notes and PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS you'll do fine :D

Dr. Albert is the best Poly Sci teacher I have met in my life. He will make you work for the grade you get but is very easy to get along with. Speak in class, Read EVER night, and follow his paper requirements and you can do well in the class. He is funny but still very serious about your education.

This is the best professor i've ever had. Very helpful and clear on the material he teaches. He makes class so fun that you hate to miss any days at all. He does require you to work though. his class is not a breeze by any means, you have to read all the assignments.

He is really intelligent and funny. You will grow as a person just by taking his class. His classes are not really easy, but they are doable. Just read, and act like you're in college. I have had this professor for several classes and I can say that his classes are largely based on critical thinking. Very interesting yet also a LOT OF READING AND A LOT OF WORK. The books he requires are usually cheaper, but the knowledge you will gain is priceless. Highly recommended for those who like a challenge.

This. Dude. is. AWESOME! I have never cared for politics in my life but he made me realize how important they really are. He teaches you more than just poli sci, but rather life lessons too! This class is not easy by any means but it is definitely worth taking.

Dr. Albert is honestly one of the best teachers I've ever had. I love how he is passionate about what he teaches. His class is difficult. If you read the book and study for the tests then you will do fine. He requires all students to participate in class and online. Make sure you do both.

Great teacher! Fun class lectures. A LOT of reading! Gives between 10 to 15 quizzes and 3 exams. All are short to long essay answer style tests. He's very helpful and enthusiastic about what he teaches. Very easy to stay focused in class. Learned a lot on the subject as well as life lessons. Would love to have again for other political classes.

Dr. Albert is amazing and incredibly passionate about what he does. I went into this class not caring about politics and he made me cultivate an entirely new perspective. He requires you to put forth your best: staying up to date on news, assigns daily readings with daily quizzes and online participation is important as well. TAKE HIM!!

Dr. Albert is really passionate about what he teaches (Tocqueville). His class is really challenging so get ready to do some work. He occasionally has a day where he lectures on humanity and really gets you thinking about things. If you are up for the challenge please take his class. Do all the extra credit that is offered too;it'll come in handy.

Dr. Albert is very good at what he does. He has days when his already thought provoking Tocqueville lectures evolve into mini-sermons that leave the entire class slain; which makes class even more enjoyable. Get ready to work; there are many opportunities for grades, so take advantage of them! Word of caution: exams may pose an extreme challenge!

I personally have never had such an effective, enthusiastic professor that is as passionate about his or her field of study as Dr. Albert. Dr. Albert has been quite effective in his attempt to teach through view points from multiple sides of the spectrum, therefore giving students a greater respect on how different parties form their views.

Amazing teacher. You WILL work for your A. Much reading, brief (but low threat) quiz each day, current events, & exams are MURDER on the wrist. BUT, essay gives room for him to be generous. He gives a very accurate "cheat sheet" before each exam. He has an unrivaled passion for politics. I left the class motivated to be more politically aware. A+

Loved his class! Learned more than just political sci from him. Does give pop quizzes from the readings but you can use your notes. Exams are essay but as long as you go over your notes, easy to pass just takes a long time to write. The reading was a little hard but VERY interesting. He loves to hear from his students about how the class is going.

The best professor at GRU, hands down. He put puts tons of passion into his class, making it the most moving course you will ever take. He does not tolerate immaturity and always expects the highest levels of respect. He treats his students like he would treat his kids, like adults. He is all for giving A's but will never just give them out.

Dr. Albert is by far my favorite professor. Professors should learn from him. He may make you work for your grade but he makes it worth it. Readings are boring but when he explains them it becomes clear and interesting. Study for the exams and you will do fine. He will help you realize what where you fall on the political party list. Dr. Albert is a fantastic professor. He expects a lot because he legitimately wants to make you a better student and person. I had some trouble understanding what exactly he wanted out of test answers (no multiple choice. only essays) but I got the hang of it. He employs the flipped classroom method so be prepared for a lot of independent work.

Craig's class has the potential to change the way you view your education. This class is about government, yes, but Craig makes it so much more, taking on matters of the human heart in some of the deeper lectures. Bottom line, if you're engaged in the course, you will easily pass and have a good time doing it. Read and always take good notes!

Dr. Albert is the best professor at Augusta University by far. He cares so much about all of his students and even takes time to learn your name. He does whatever he can to help you earn an A. But be ready for a large workload and multiple assignments. His lectures are amazing and I never want them to end. I wish I could take him again!

One of my favorite professors, took as many classes with him as possible during my academic career. If you read and pay attention, participate in class, and listen to his feedback on papers, it's an easy A. Must have thick skin to take his classes, but it's completely worth it. He was the reason I stuck with school.

Excellent instructor! It guides you to be a dedicated person in the future. I took American Government with him, and it sets you in the atmosphere. Although he makes you work a lot! If you are interested in politics, take him. If you are lazy, don't. To do good in his class, just follow what he says and read everything he says.

Dr. Albert is truly an amazing professor. You can tell he genuinely cares for his students. It is a flipped classroom setting, so be ready to read, but you actually come out knowing the material. His exams are all essay, but as long as you explain why you think the answer is right, you will get the question right. Best AU professor.

Professor Albert is by-far the best professor I've ever had. He genuinely cares about all his students and finds a way to inspire you every day in his classroom. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Albert. Dr. A is the BEST professor. He is kind, caring and absolutely hilarious. If you take Dr. Albert's class and you do not think or look at things differently, you obviously paid no attention in his class. I took his class for American Government, and plan to continue on to his class for the Model United Nations Study Abroad Program. After reading Tocqueville, it will change your entire prospective of Politics and LIFE!

Dr. Albert is the coolest professor. He goes on rants that will make you think he is going off topic but instead he is using real world events to make the information relevant. If you do his online quizzes and pay attention you will get an easy A. Absolutely take him if you can.

Dr. Albert is the best professor on campus. If you aren't willing to work though, do not take the class. You will eat, breathe, and sleep in Tocqueville. His lectures make you laugh like crazy but always connect with your life. You will leave the class everyday learning something new and question how to live your life to the fullest.

The greatest professor Augusta University could ever have. This class makes you grow in so many ways, and Dr. Albert is very passionate about his job. I would advise anyone that cares about their education to take one of his classes.

Awesome professor

Some people put up the argument that Dr. Albert disagrees with them on all points they make. This is very true, but it is also his job. He stresses the fact that these are not his personal beliefs heavily. His job is to make you think for yourself. His lectures are deep and involved. Keep an open mind and this will be the best class you've taken.

Much of my political science degree was obtained through classes offered by Dr. Craig Albert. I could not get enough of his classes (which are often quite unique and interesting) and I found that I learned more through his teaching methods than any other professor I had between both universities I attended. He can be tough, but it is worth it.

He is an amazing professor, and I don't use that word lightly. He is genuinely passionate about making sure his students learn the material as well as develop critical thinking skills. Plus, he is a true inspiration. Easily one of the best professors not only in political science, but at AU overall.

Professor Albert is a good professor. He is willing to give you the A if you work for it. You will read Tocqueville heavily and the work is not hard you just have to put in the work to get your A. He is a cool professor and he tries to push you to your full potential in this class.

Dr. Albert is one of the best professors at AU. He really wants all his students to do well in his class and is always willing to help. He assigns a lot of assignments that can pile up really fast, but they are pretty easy if you focus and try your best. He also gives extra credit and drops a lot of grades. 10/10

I took POLS1101 online and got a pretty easy A. Dr. Albert gives a lot of ridiculously easy assignments, usually 2-3 assignments due 5 days out of the week. The tests were pretty over the top, 7 questions and each question has to be answered with a page or more of information. Overall the class was easy but I did hate those tests.

If you have a decent work ethic, Dr. Albert's POLS 1101 (online) will be a breeze. Be sure to go into detail with your answers. You'll almost never receive a bad grade if there's a clear demonstration of effort in your work. Also, WORK ON YOUR EXAMS ahead of time. These will quickly overwhelm you if you procrastinate.

This was my favorite class and professor! The class was very fun and interesting. He was very helpful and really cares about students mental health. His class is a judgement free zone, so feel free to speak your mind.

What an amazing teacher. If all professors were half as good as him, there wouldn't be so much wrong with academia currently. His class is hard, one of the hardest.. Dr. Albert genuinely cares about his students and their success in life. He can be controversial, but only if you're a controversy adverse person. Respect him and you will get respect.
