Awesome Guy. All you have to do is go to class. You don't need to worry about getting a good grade on the test because he'll even tell you himself that all you need to do to get an "a" is come to class

omg cool as hell teacher, doesnt care if ur on time, will let u turn thigs in late and when every u can. he answers his phone during class and give u guys time to do anything in clas. papers r like 1 page long, only two papers needed. lets u out at least half an hour early. good as wolf.

Wow!talk about easiest teacher at MVCC. He is funny, and intresting. Not much lecture, only2 papers 1 page long 15question final, easy A!!! You wont find an easier class take him if you want to laugh and get an a. All you have to do is show up to class!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easiest class ever...no joke. What to expect: never use ur book so dont buy it! Lots of extra credit thats easy! 12-15 question midterm was our only test. show up and get credit for attendence and get an A and thats it!!!!! lol

He is an a nice guy and an easy A, basically thats all you have to do is show up and you get an A. He is a funny guy and his class is always fun.

very easy. you get an A for just showing up to class. hardly any notes to take, and a fifteen question midterm. you have to write a paper, but it has to only be ONE page long! recommended to take his class if you want an easy A.

Very easy A, just go to class and you get an A. We took notes but you don't really need to cause he goes right outta the book, mid-term was confusing but only 14 questions.Lets you do extra credit papers on the movies you watch only if you want to. 2 papers, really easy.Class is boring if your not into Humanities,but easy A.

this is the easiest A you can ever get. in the begining he even says you have to try to get a D or an F. i barely ever came to class and i still got an A. the class is extreamly boring but he's a laid back really funny guy.. the few assignments you get just make sure they are in on time and your fine.

Allen is AWESOME! NEVER any homework!!! Midterm was only 6 questions and the Final Exam was only 3!!! An all around GREAT guy and TOTALLY recommended! You have to TRY to get less then an A in his class! Wouldn't even bother buying the textbook, we HARDLY used it cause he doesn't like it! Watched plenty of movies! For an easy A, TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!

I had him for PHI101 and PHI111. His classes are a great way to fulfill general ed. requirements. You don't need a book and there's basically no homework. You watch a couple movies and write papers on them. The first midterm was 12 questions, and the second class didn't even have one. Class is usually interesting, so it's definitely worth taking.

had him for phi 111 and hum 101...great teacher. Basically we watch a few movies over the course of the semester, there's probably only 1 or 2 papers at 1-2 pgs each. never once opened the book...he likes to talk about his life but still he's really interesting. if you want an EASY A take him!!!

take him! never used the book..only 1 2page paper... really easy assignments... always let us out early.... pretty much talks with class

I had Allen in Critical Thinking during summer session and it was extremely easy. He's funny guy and is knowledgeable about his subject. I didn't learn much though(summer session, go figure). Easy grader. Brought in guest speakers that were somewhat relevant to the subject. Take him for GPA booster.

I have him right now hes no nice i love his teaching style all we do in his class is watch movies and have lectures and discussions but you dont have tlk unless you want to and hes really nice. we have one midterm and one final and just small assingmnets there nt graded on wrng or rt just on opinion which is nice, we dont use the book he does but

Simply put, you have to try REALLY REALLY hard NOT to get an A in this class. This was BY FAR the EASIEST class I have ever taken in my life. The Final was all of 3 questions!!! 3!!! and 1 was Multiple Choice! If you want the easiest possible A, TAKE THIS CLASS WITH ALLEN! HE IS THE MAN!!!!

Pretty funny, definitely laid-back but if you're genuinely interested in philosophy, he's not for you. We didn't actually learn a whole lot but watched movies including American History X, Equilibrium, and Dead Poet's Society. All good but not what I had in mind for a philosophy class

Great class, great teacher! The post b4 me is half true, you do watch a lot of movies but you need to analyze the movies and find the philosophy within them. Also, you can learn a lot about phi. in his class if you actually listen, and take the notes and ask questions! Overall great class, if you show up you'll at least get a B, do some work = A

Took him for a summer class and a fall. I liked his style of teaching for gen eds. Wasn't very hard to get an A, but he gets annoyed when you don't show up or leave early. I enjoyed the movies and learned more than I thought I would about Humanities. I would take him again but I'm all done with my gen eds. I'll miss him.

Excellent teacher. He knows what he is talking about and will let you speak your mind. He also has a deep well full of information that he's always more than happy to share.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Not too much work involved, but he makes you discuss things...you don't learn about the past philosophy mumbo jumbo. You learn about yourself. Allen makes you think about what is going on in your world and what you can do about it. Easy A, but a great learning experience.

Mr. Allen is a great teacher. He is very smart and I like his conversations. This is how you get an A come to class and participate in group work do his super easy assignments (only 2 a semester) and you get that grade.

Mr Allen is great! A lot of the class was discussion and we watched a lot of movies as well. Not very many assignments. He does take attendance every class. He is very unorganized but if you can get over this and just show up for class, you got yourself an easy A!

I'm really gonna miss this guy. Mr. Allen is one of the coolest, most chill teachers you'll ever have. He's just a regular guy that knows you don't want boring, ancient philosophy crap shoved down your throat. He makes everything simple and worth discussing. You're a total idiot if you don't take him.

Craig Allen is the man! Super easy HW, and no need for a book. All there is to do is watch movies, and have group discussions. Classes get very interesting when the group discussions happen. HW points are the easiest points you'll ever get, there's no midterm and we worked on the final exam in small groups while being allowed to google the answers!

Prof. Allen is the "break old belief systems" through discussions, logic, and critical analysis. These processes happen through watching movies and discussions. He does not focus on testing (such a blood-sucking time-wasting procedure) but by participating in discussions. As long as your discussions are conscious, you will be FINE. A+ for him.

Was the best professor I had at Moraine. If you are looking to take any kind of philosophy class, take his. If this means rearranging your schedule, DO IT! It's almost a guaranteed A, pending you participate and show up every day.. Take this class!!

Easy A class I liked the professor although philosophy doesn't interest me I had to take it and I'm glad that I took it with him.

If you have the chance to take Allen, do it!! His class is more focused on getting you thinking than simply giving you material. He really helps challenge your views on things, and get you thinking in a new way. He's an unconventional, but great guy and I hope I'm able to take another one of his classes sometime.

Just show up and get an A. There's hardly any homework and he's very understanding. He appreciates any feedback and just wants you to be interested. He believes that grades don't really matter, so he gives everyone an A if they show up, he just wants you to get interested in the material.

Professor Allen is the man. Amazing teacher really opens your eyes about the world and what's currently going on. Too bad he doesn't teach any other classes at Moraine, really unfortunate. Show up to his class, pay attention, do the in class assignments and make sure you talk with him a couple times a year and its an easy A.

All you really need to is show up to class. No essays no tests no quizzes all you do is watch documentary he asks questions and you write a short review of what you watched. Super easy A.

Mr. Allen is a very great professor to have. He will provide your brain with the great thoughts and nourishment. I would totally take this class again in a heartbeat if I could. He is one of my favorite professors that I have taken here at Moraine. If you participate you will be fine.

Mr. Allen is a really interesting teacher. His class is extremely easy. Theres no tests or quizzes, and any homework he gives is reading an article or printing one out. However, I dont recommend this class if you actually really wanted to learn about other religions.

Professor Allen is an amazing teacher. Super easy. I took him online and there are no test or quizzes. Sometimes he uses questions from the book, but thats about the only time I ever used it. There are some documentaries as well but they weren't bad at all. He is very nice, and would give great feedback. Please take him!

Super easy class. One assignment per week. A few of them required you to watch movies or short documentaries but they weren't as boring as I expected them to be. Other assignment included questions straight from the text book or short answer question about what you learned from the reading that week. Highly recommend.
