I absolutely recommend Professor Bow for A&P 1. He is soooo nice and a great teacher.

Professor Bow is the best! The lab portion of A&P 1 is easy. If you can memorize, you can get an A.

If you do not pass his class with at least a B... you are a MORON. He is really easy, and is willing to work extra with you outside of class. Best teacher at MCC for this course... BAR NONE.

Very friendly; quite funny. For the most part knows his stuff but difficult questions occasionally go unanswered (which is to be expected as I'm sure this guy has a life other than teaching). The test questions are pretty tricky; are there are usually errors on the test so watch out but I don't know if this is Bow's fault or some other professor.

Took teacher for lab and class. He made the class as fun as possible, and was a very funny teacher. Overall, anatomy and phisiology is a complicated class, but he made it easy and fun. If you take this class, make sure you take this teacher.

Dr. Bow is a great teacher for A&P 1. He has all his material on powerpoint slides, and has outline notes and slides on the website. He is great for lab also. He doesn't take attendence, but try not to miss. He goes over exactly what will be on his exams. Gives notice before quizzes. I would definately recommend! Wish he taught A&P 2.

Nice guy, too nice, no classroom control. Easy A, but if you need to actually learn and remember A&PI for nursing it can be a blur. If you're a serious student sit up front, he's very soft spoken and other people talking is VERY distracting. A lot to learn in labs, take pictures of models to learn at home. Ppl take advantage of his good nature =(

He is a really nice guy and knows how to explain anatomy very well. I really enjoyed his lecture. The only problem I encountered was that I did not feel very challenged because he makes the class almost too easy. Other than that, I would definitely recommend him.

He's such a great teacher. He's brilliant and passionate about what he teaches which makes it more interesting. He has a great sense of humor. The tests are somewhat difficult but he tells you exactly what will be on them straight off of the power point. I absolutely recommend him as a professor.

He made class fun!! Exams are tricky-watch his wording carefully! Extra credit is not always academically oriented;I respect him less for it.If you expect your grades to be posted on Angel in a timely manner you will be disappointed. He was willing to state when he didn't know something. He's good, not great. No control over class was frustrating.

Funny guy, really laid back, every class is lecture or exams but most of his exam questions come from his lecture not from the book. He gives extra credit, and you have one class presentation.

Hard not to get an A or B in this class. Tons of extra credit opportunities. My only recommendation is to study "Actual Models" rather than the models in the book for lab practicals since most of the practicals are based on real models. That was my only downside to this class, other than that the Lecture part was a breeze.

Dr. Bow is very knowledgeable and makes this class enjoyable. He is funny, informal and will help you succeed if you just put in the work. I recommend him greatly for this class and WISH SCF would let him teach A & P, II or other courses. His classes fill quickly so sign up ASAP. I miss your class, Dr. Bow!

Awesome teacher, cares about his students, really laid back, class is optional, and there is NEVER any homework. The tests can be tricky, but just study and youll do fine. Final was a take home test which was easy.

Just an all around great teacher. Summer is a terrible time to take a class with this much to learn. He makes it totally doable though. He listens to his students and truly wants them to succeed. This is the only teacher I have met that offers his cell # to the students for quick answers to all their questions. STUDYING IS REQUIRED TO PASS! AWESOME

Excellent teacher. He offers his cell phone number to the students in an effort to help them succeed. I haven't met another professor that can claim that. No book is required although the lab manual is certainly useful. Bow is a great edition to the biological sciences division of SCF. Sign up early, his classes fill quickly.

He really gave you what you needed to learn only, not alot of extraneous material. Did not use textbook AT ALL. Gives lots of extra credit that really makes the letter grade of a a difference.

A HUGE amount of material is covered and there is A LOT of memorization but Dr. Bow made it FUN and ENJOYABLE. He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He took time to talk with me about my medical journey and showed genuine interest.

Bow is an awesome teacher. He only teaches you what he thinks you'll use in the real world. He tells you exactly what to study and does a review for the exams and practicals. He doesn't care about your attendence but if you skip, you will miss a lot of information. As long as you go, pay attention, study, and take good notes you'll pass.

Dr Bow is incredible. He goes over everything step by step with you, then over it again. Lots of drawings so if you are a visual learner that is helpful. Honestly I had a 73 at the end of the semester and my final grade was a B because he went in and boosted all my quiz grades! He truly cares about the students he teaches.

Dr. Bow is one of the most accessible professors I have ever met. Religiously refer to his PowerPoints and listen to his advice on how to do well. I would recommend having access to a printer. One of the best Anatomy and Physiology I professors. I would take him again. This class is already difficult to take but you have a great professor that explains everything and all his quizzes are for extra credit to help your grade. Take the class seriously and study. You will pass.

Absolutely amazing professor! He was super funny and made anatomy so much easier to understand (p.s. he may or may not give some helpful hints during quizzes). I decided to retake this A&P 1 for a better grade and ended up with an A in his class. The audio lectures were super helpful on the PowerPoints. I would definitely take him again if I could!

Dr. Bow is one of the good ones in SCF. Lectures are explained in detail, without jumping from one topic to another. No essay exams! Grades available in a day. Attending his class makes you appreciate anatomy & physiology because he explains the lectures simple enough to remember, to be stored as part of your stock knowledge -that's great teaching!

This was a very easy online class. There were MANY assignments each week. For the professor... he wasn't really there. He gives you updates and outlines for each assignment as the time goes by, but once you know what you're doing, it's more like a free-for-all with a couple due dates to follow along. Overall mediocre intensity, but pretty easy.

Professor Bow is an incredible teacher. All of his assignments are through McGraw Hill, which makes it easy. There are about four assignments due each week. The smart book questions, the homework assignment, a quiz, and sometimes the smart book videos. Super easy! He is also very encouraging.

He takes the time to make sure you know the material.While the lecture is mainly weighed on tests, he goes through the tests with you before to make you are well prepared. He does talk and over explain a lot but it's all worth it because it will come up later in the course. Hes so funny and made the class fun!

Took his class this past semester based on all the good reviews, and he was the best. His class is simple, and he cares about his students. Attendance isn't mandatory, though I don't recommend missing a class, as his lectures are important to the tests. There's no homework, only 4 tests and 4 quizzes. He's funny and makes the class entertaining!
