Easy class.....always out early....Highly recomend!

this class was is easy that if you want to get A. all you have to due is just do the homework and study the homework.

Best Teacher! Makes you understand Phyics really well, and not complicated at all. He makes the class and exams easy as possible. Exams are on the HW problems he goes throw in the class, Just study those prob. and you will be really good in the exam. Labs, if you go to lab and do it u will get 10/10 .

Great teacher! Very laid-backed. Notes are straight-foward. Tests are based on the notes. The testbook is only necessary for the problems, which are done in class. Labs are pass/fail. If you show up and do labs you always get 10/10. Always lets class out early.

Good Teacher. Very easy class

Very Good Professor. he says you need the book for his class but you really dont. He writes notes on the board and thats what his tests are made up of. He gives you all formulas. He's a cutie that tries to be funny (which makes it funny). But he does have a low monotone voice.

Took this class in Spring of 04. He is very monotone, and makes you fall alseep in class. Never really used the textbook except to look at formulas and problems that we did in class. The labs are very easy. Let us out of class early but not all the time.

i took this class fall, '08 when i was working full time too. i do not like math but mr. casey explained things VERY clearly and straight. his exams are fair (if you study his notes). already told two of my friends to take him!

One of the funniest teaechers, Every time he made a joke i laughed. Exteremly easy teacher, just do the problems he gives and concentrate on that for the tests. Labs are a joke, no offence. he's tooooooooooo easy. Fun class though no doubt.

Mr. Casey! Great Guy! There should be more of him in this world! I took him for Physics...not my favorite subject but I ended up getting a B! He is very approachable and can make you laugh and smile! He is very understanding and will help in any way possible. Very funny! He gives great notes! Highly recommend him....be nice to him or else! Good guy

I took this class last year. He made the class interesting but there is a LOT of algebra in it. I would STRONGLY recommend you take Prof. Casey if you are going into pharmacy. His notes helped with my MCAT/PCAT. He's also easy to look at! ;)

Mr. Casey is the best physics teacher for PHY 150. His test questions are based on the problems in class and as long as you show up to labs, you get full credit. I highly recommend.

Study the problems he goes over in class and there is no reason why you can't pass. Labs are either pass/fail. Good teacher though.

I went to this website before I registered for this class to see which teacher to take. The reviews are true... Casey was AWESOME! I would HIGHLY recommend him - he is clear, straight to the point and his drawings are helpful. Exams are not easy but all you have to do is study his notes.

Mr. Casey was one of, if not THE, best teachers I have had at MVCC. Exams are straight-forward and all formulas are given for each test. Study his notes for the exams. He is also hot which is why I never missed class!

mr. casey was BY FAR the best physics teacher! i took 151 a year ago and had to drop it. but i learned alot from casey and his notes were extremely useful. i would HIGHLY recommend you take 150 and 151 with mr. casey!

Very good teacher! He lectures for 30 minutes than makes you work on problems. If you re do all the problems at home the night before the exam you will get an A on his exam. Physics is not easy but he makes it simple. I highly recommend taking him!

I wouldn't call the class EASY but it definitely wasn't very difficult. If you study allot before the exams you'll have no problem with them. The labs aren't so bad either- and this is coming from someone who loathes labs. Hes a very fair teacher- take him if you can!

I took Physics with another Prof and had to drop. Retook it with Casey and got an A. His lectures are clear. The exams are based on the lectures. just go to class, take notes, and you will do well on the tests. AWESOME teacher!

Stop reading and go register... right now! His class fills up fast. I got an A! he gives 5-6 probles per chapter 3 chapters per test. 4 exams non-cumulative, no final! Basically all you need to do is understand 15-20? questions per exam and you will get an A on the test. no final just 4exams. Pus he gives you a formula sheet for the test

I had a different teacher for 150 and casey for 151. It was like night and day. casey explained things so much better than my other teacher. And he is way cute and so nice! his class fills up too fast so register early to get a spot.

I took Mr. Craig Casey for Phy 2---> LECTURES - Gotta go to these to pass the exams. HMWK - Assigns a few problems but does them in class. EXAMS - 14 problems each , 2 or 3 of the problems are tough. LABS - Easy. TEACHER - Explains the problems clearly. He' handsome too, ladies!

Wonderful teacher and genuinely nice guy! Very clear lectures and exam problems are based on what is done in class. What more could you ask for in a teacher?!? Would HIGHLY recommend you take Casey for both 150 and 151 physics.

take this class if you are not good at science at all or not going into a science major! easiest science class at mvcc. easiest teacher. lab lasts a half hour if that, usually doing it together as a class. never used my book. writes everything on the book for lecture and uses only that for tests. he's a chill guy. always let out early. RECOMMEND!!!

Made class ridiculously hard. I don't know why these other comments say that he's easy. He made it almost impossible to get an A. Good teacher, just insane exams. Try someone else you want an easy grade.

Fantastic teacher! Waaaay better than the teacher I had for PHY 150. Explains the whole chapter in the first 45 minutes of class, then we solve the problems together. He is so nice too! :)

Relatively easy class. Nice guy, but boring. During lab he would just search the web. He seemed to have little interest in being a teacher. There are 4 tests. 3 of them are physics and 1 chem. Test are 90% or your grade and labs are 10%. There pretty easy tests. You don't need a book. Everything you need to know he gives you.

He wants to be in class as much as you do. He doesn't which is great! Almost 3 hour class made into 1.5 hours. Notes, example problems, done. Study those problems and show up to labs and you should get an A. Fair warning, multiple choice tests which is fine but few problems so no mistakes. They're crucial. Tests aren't super difficult though :)

Just finished PHY 2 with Prof Casey with an "A"! Prof Casey is an awesome teacher, hilarious, and easy to look at! Would definitely take him for another class but this was my last physics class.

It's a deceptively easy class. Teacher prepares you for the exams, but it's still a science class so you have to study.

Just finished General Physics, and he was THE BEST! Lectures are clear and he really explains the equations. Exams are 20 problems each, not difficult but you do have to study for them. Coolest teacher I've ever had!

Incredibly nice guy! Treats the students fairly! Exams (4 of them) are not the easiest but all the equations are given for each test. Its physics so, yes, you have to STUDY!

Mr. Casey it probably the best physics teacher there is. Labs are basically 15% of the grade and there are 4 exams that are worth 85%. The exams are similar to problems he does in class. Overall you still have to work for the grade.

Prof Casey was an AMAZING teacher! I'll admit that science is not my thing but his lectures were right to the point and he explained the material so that you understood it. Amazing Professor. They speak in a way thats easy to understand and they make the lesson interesting. If I could I would take this class again. The grading is also fair, as long as you study the notes you take in class then the test will be easy. I took him for astronomy and loved it definitely recommend.

This professor Craig who teaches Physics that I took PHY-106 since Spring 2022 that I needed for my Computer and LAN Technology major. He's my favorite professor I love. He gave me and classmates excellent worksheets. I took physics class since my senior year in high school. Thanks to Craig for giving us good grades and excellent assignments.

I read other reviews at rmp and then took Mr Casey for PHY 150 Gen Physics I in Spring. Lectures were a big help with solving the problems and getting ready for the exams. Highly recommend

Great professor! The lectures are straightforward and his explanations really help with the problem sets. I found unstuck AI and the free textbook to be super useful for studying and prep. Definitely worth taking this class if you're looking for an engaging physics course.

Wowza! Took Prof Casey for PHY 1 and 2. Lectures were straight to the point, goes over theory and formulas, but it is mainly problem solving in class. Would highly recommend!

110% recommend him to anyone scared of physics. I never took physics in high school and came in nervous, but I ended with a really high grade. His class is super straightforward, study the worksheets he does with you in class before exams and you'll do great. Great teacher!
