The worst the college has to offer as a teacher. He spent 3 consecutive Monday nights (over 9 hours!) trying to discuss "Jack" & "Rose" (characters from Titanic) and why they were attracted to each other!!!For this I'm paying money to sit and fall asleep? He is by far the worst Professor Ive ever had. He schedules quizzes without even telling us on canvas. He grades everything as missing, takes forever to grade, and I feel like I am wasting my time. He has no idea what he is talking about, and shame on you if you have a question about his grading. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

Horrible, do not take him!! He is rude and disrespectful and does not work with students at all. You basically teacher yourself the class. Do not recommend!!!

I was pretty excited to learn about psychology, but I dread going to all of his classes. He doesn't teach and if he does he's rambling and talking about his personal life. He used to give us a few days to take a test, but now we only have a day and an exam right after. You pretty much teach yourself. Such a waste of time

Prof Cooper was awful! He hardly teaches b/c most of the time he is talking about his own personal life or politics. He has went on long tangents about how terrible Trump is either every class or every other class. His time spent talking about politics took away from a lot of learning time, I felt his class was a waste of my time and education.

Horrible professor. I decided to take a chance despite seeing his rating. Big mistake. He constantly changes due dates, assignments, and calls for lock down browser in the middle of the semester. Seems unorganized to me. Papers aren't up to his expectations, then expect to fail it. Generally just a bad professor. Don't take him.

All of the negative reviews left me nervous for this class but Professor Cooper by far exceeded my expectations. It was an asynchronous class so there were no lectures aside from prerecorded ones. The modules were set up well and everything was direct. He was prompt in his grading and offered exceptional feedback.

I would have to say he is definitely very condescending. I am only half way through the semester and I am starting to fear he will only go downhill. He talks a lot about politics and himself but not too much about psychology. If you stay after class to ask a question, he is willing to answer it for you, if you listen to him ramble for 15-20 minutes

Cooper is a hard grader and sometimes gets distracted while lecturing, but he is a very kind person and clearly tries his best to be helpful to students and answer any questions.

his assignments are all online and through the textbook, they are quick and easy. check canvas often because some are due on weekends. Also, participate (it is graded). If you reach out with issues, he is very understanding. His tests are challenging but STUDY HIS SLIDES!!! You will do very well if you participate and STUDY THE SLIDES!!!

He sometimes is very disorganized, HOWEVER he knows the material (unlike some professors). The curriculum is NOT based off a textbook, he creates it. Discussions in class were great, if you read and took notes prior to class (which he tells to do). Lots of graded pre-class quizzes.

Overall, I had a great time in Professor Cooper's class. Sometimes, his lectures can be a bit dull, but the homework is easy. He also gives multiple opportunities for extra credit. The exams are worth a lot, but you can take the optional final exam to replace your lowest exam grade. He is a very interesting guy, as well.

The class has a challenging workload, but using resources like Unstuck study alongside studying the slides can help you succeed. The professor is sometimes condescending, but is willing to provide extra support if you engage.

This professor is strict when it comes to their grading. For the discussions i usually only got one chance to speak which ended up resulting in me getting low grades for that, ignoring the fact i have social anxiety. For the exams there was no proper way to prepare since I studied for weeks, only for most of the stuff to not be on them.
