If you are struggling in college algebra and need a good professor Mr Jaggard is the answer. Although attendance is not mandatory, I highly recommend that you attend classes in order to understand the material.

Great teacher! I am NOT very good at math but he explained things in a very simple,straight to the point way. Very positive attitude and definitely willing to help when you ask. He's a comedian which made learning the material fun and interesting. Was clear and would repeat things over and over so it would get stuck in your head. Very helpful, will stay after class to help you. Likes participation from the class, if not he'll just talk to himself. Like the Robin Williams of Math.

He is the BEST math teacher I have ever had!I've never made above a C in math ever,and I got a B+.He hand picks your HW for problems that'll be specific for the test, he breaks math down in a way that it is very easy to understand. His tests are simple b/c he tells what problems are on the test so do the reviews and HW. He's also very funny.

He was the best math teacher I have ever had! He makes it really fun and he really cares about his students. On the 1st day of class we barely talked about math, but he got to know us and we all got to know him. He was a wonderful teacher and a great person!

Funny! Great teacher, very passionate about math; a little unconventional; he tires to make material as easy as possible to understand. He gives lots of partial credit; some extra credit; he rsponds quickly to e-mails & grades test quickly. He goes a little fast in class, but he is always willing to give you extra help if you ask.

I am mathematically challenged. Jaggard puts the information into an easy to understand format and provides a lot of shortcuts and tips to help. Tip: He doesn't teach out of the book so U must attend every class to pass.

It's rare to find professors or educators who have as much passion and enjoyment teaching as Jaggard does. His approach and technique are somewhat unconventional however successful none the less.

It took me through the first test in his college algebra class to fully appreciate his method. But I caught on pretty quick. He is energetic, and engaged. Some qualities I can appreciate in an otherwise brain melting coarse. I feel lucky that I was able to snag him up as my trig instructor also.

He's one of a kind. I didn't know what to expect from him going in. In actuality, he's very energetic which I enjoyed. He kept the class very engaged. Professor Jaggard made the class quite interesting. Although he had his own method of teaching, I actually preferred his method. He truly knows the material he teaches. I recommend him.

Very passionate about Algebra and a good teacher. I would recommend the 16 week version (not 8, unless you're a wiz). Practice homework outside of class and show all your work on exams for full credit. He will tell you exactly what to study for exams, including the final. Would definitely take his class again - the 16 week version though!

Energetic, fun and passionate. Show up and pay attention to do well. Wouldn't hesitate to take him again. Grades posted immediately and he was always there to answer questions. I only opened the textbook before tests and I was never bored in his classroom.

Supper helpful and nice... He has a very different way of explaining math in a way that is easy to understand. His class was never dull he makes it very fun. I am glad that I was able to get him for trig next semester. I would highly recommend him!

Sometimes strays off the subject on to ones that have nothing to do with the course, but overall a great professor. Not a big fan of math, but he made it enjoyable and always stayed after class for extra help. Great guy.

Good teacher, but VERY confusing and teaches his own way. Unable to use the math center due to him using the "Jaggard" way. He is hilarious but when you ask questions he looks at you like you're dumb. You get points for each day you're in class, doesn't grade homework, you need the book and willing to help students who ask.

Great teacher! Very friendly with the class and constantly tried to make material easy to understand and practical. He does not check homework, but it would be wise to do if you want a good grade. He does not have an office at JCCC, so come early or stay late after class if you have questions! I would definitely take him again if I have the chance!

Although I've never excelled in math, I enjoyed this course. This year was my first year getting anything higher than a C in math since my freshman year in high school, probably because he cut straight to the point and taught us the easiest and quickest way to solve a problem. He also had a great sense of humor and made lectures more enjoyable!

He was great. Full of energy and enthusiasm, he always kept me interested. He skipped to the easiest methods to solve problems, which oftentimes were easier than the way the book proposed. Homework is optional, and he spent plenty of time in review for tests and offered generous extra credit.

I've always loathed math, until I took this class. I've not once fallen asleep, resorted to doodling in my notes, etc. The class moves at a fast clip, but the professor will slow down if anyone needs extra clarification. Super enthusiastic about the subject, energetic, and engaging. Will forever recommend for any math class, ever.

Being a math class, it's unsurprisingly difficult. Honestly, there's nothing really "wrong" with Craig, but the textbook, however, contradicted what he taught us in the lecture, making hard to take reliable notes. Whether Craig or the textbook is truly at fault is beyond me.

Mr. Jaggard made this class fun. He's really helpful if you need it and does a great job simplifying the material. Some of his lectures differ from what the book teaches, but he explains the material and shows you how to solve the problems 100 times more efficiently. He's awesome, but like any other class, make sure you put the time in to study!

Really enthusiastic about math. He is great at explaining things and is very funny. He can go quickly, but he is very clear. The textbook is usually followed, but he skips some sections and adds some of his own stuff. Homework isn't due, but is helpful to do. Take home quizzes. Trig was a lot easier than I thought it would be with his class.

He makes things easy to understand and he is very amusing. I found he hosts a great 8 am class. As long as you take notes, listen, and show up to every class, you can't possibly fail his class.

I learned a lot from his class, I took a year off of school and thought that math would of been the hardest to learn but the way he taught the class I understood everything he taught. I was suppose to be put into college algebra because I took it in highschool just not for college credit, but since I scored low on my compass test i was put in here.

Professor Jaggard was one of the best math teachers I've ever had. I took me about a week to warm up to his teaching style but after that the way he taught was so clear and just made sense, it made Trig an easy class. He is a really cool teacher and I strongly recommend his class.

You walk in class worried but this guy just makes it EASY AND FUN! he truly cares for his students. No pop quizzes all are take home. He gives points for attendance. As long as you do the assigned homework and ask for help when needed, you will pass. Missing classes will make it hard to understand some math concepts.

Great instructor. Took this class over the summer, lot of material covered in a short period of time. Quickly responds to emails and takes the time to help before and after class if you have questions then. Would recommend for anyone but don't do a summer class if you don't have the recommended time to commit outside the classroom to homework.

I took this class as a requirement, not looking forward to it, as I hadn't taken any math classes in 4 years. However, Professor Jaggard made this class actually enjoyable. His energy and wit transformed what most consider to be lectures of monotony into entertaining and interesting lessons. Moreover, he explained the reasoning behind the math.

I attended class in summer. A lot to learn in 8 weeks. Jaggard made sure to teach what you needed to know. Nice amount of learning and humor.

I took college algebra with him. His lectures are fun. Doing homework every day was recommended but optional. Only tests, quizzes and the final goes in the grade book NO homework. Tests were very easy. Just do his hand written test review and you'll be fine. He gave free points for attendance. Take him if you can. You won't regret.

The only time you use the book is to do practice problems. No homework. All quizzes are take home. Test study guides are good representations of what will be on test. Doesn't teach anything that you don't need for final. VERY funny and easy going. Super cool professor very stand out. I wish he taught Calc 1 as well. You will not regret this class.

I enjoyed math but jaggard make math even more enjoyable!! His classes were always interesting and he always make sure that you understand the chapter! If I could would take any of his classes! We had homework but it was not graded but I do recommend on doing. He will quiz you on the hw.

The textbook is really only used for practice but recommended. I don't recommend skipping as each lecture is packed with information you don't want to miss. He had replaced my original prof. after the first week and I'm really glad he did. He showed us the straight-to-the-point way of doing things and made everything easy to understand.

Mr. Jaggard is a fantastic teacher. This is my second try in College Algebra and after not passing the class before I now have a good shot at an A! He makes class enjoyable without detracting from the content. He wants you to pass, & gives partial credit. Instead of teaching straight from the book he shows things whatever way makes the most sense.

I took this class 3 years ago and failed. Tried it with Jaggard and passed with flying colors. I like his teaching style- it's organized and to the point, although he's a crazy character. Never fell asleep in his class because he's loud and enthusiastic about what he does. I would have him as a professor again if I could!

If math isn't your thing, take your next class with this guy. He's only teaching you what you need to know to pass the exams and the final, no nonsense. He's crazy in a good way and occasionally goes off on small tangents that will give you a little break from mathing. Glad to be done with algebra, but if I had to take any more I'd go with Jaggard.

I hate math and he became my favorite professor, one of my favorites ever. He made it so clear cut and dry, I took him for math 120 and 171 because of his ability to teach. Id never tKe math from another professor. Made my 8 am class easy to go to die to his energy and knowledge! I also have always struggled with math and got an A in both classes!

Okay, so Ive retaken College Algebra a few Times.. and I can not exaggerate enough that JAGGARD IS THE BEST. He finds easy ways to help you remember and really focuses on important information. Homework isnt due, but do it for open note quizzes!! I took his 4-6:50pm class and really enjoyed it!!

I struggles with Math hardcore, and this was the first time I actually enjoyed coming to class. I would recommend never skipping a class because he does help with teaching new ways to solve problems, and they are a lot easier! I would highly recommend taking him. Of course you have to study, but it's math.

I have been garbage at math for years, this is the one math class I finally started to understand how to do various equations and problems. Props to you Jaggard!

He explains things in a really easy way that most everyone understands. Your grade is made up of tests and quizzes. The homework is never taken for a grade. Some quizzes are take home, but you can use your notes on every quiz. He tells you exactly what is on the test/quiz/final and tells you how many points it's worth.

Hands down best Algebra professor out there. I believe he was retiring soon, I am not sure if he's still teaching. If I could take him again, I would. He made math seem understandable and easy. Homework was not graded but really recommended to get a good grade in the exams.
