A good professor; communicates the course material well; good notes; fair grader; helpful and treats students with respect.
He is really helpful and the class isnt boring at all. He knows what he is talking about and has real world experience.
His class is really interesting compared to most. Very personable, helpful, and laid-back in class. Not the easiest marker in the world, but not too bad either.
Class is long and not always interesting, but he does his best with the material he is given. He is extremely energetic, and is willing to help students out...one of the better profs here!!!
Awesome teacher, and a all around cool guy!
uses great examples from the real world...class is pretty interesting with a lot of group exercises. pretty decent marker. tests are straight from class notes...easy stuff
Great class but he plugs his damn restaurant way too much.
fair marker. encourages group work. lots of practical experience, not just theory smart. really really good guy.
very nice guy, interesting stuff to actually put to use but doesnt give clear expectaions of what he wants for assignments, is a very hard marker
I think he is an awesome teacher. He really helps me with my work and motivates me to do better in life. This is a class I will always remember thank you Craig Milner all the best to you.

Hard to know what he wants as far as assignments/exams go. Class SEEMS easy but marks quite strict.
craig replies .. average going into final is 85%+ thats a B+ going into a final that class was able to do as a team. highest average i've ever had in this class. hmmm seems like i had a couple of bitter students??
great guy, hes an awesome teacher. i love how he brings in his life examples. doesnt seem like a class, seems more like im going to seminars instead! totally recommend him.
I took this class from him in the Spring of 2004 and I have to say it was a fantastic choice. Very easy-going guy who challenged us, but it didn't come off as a chore. Hope he appreciated our free Coke samples we handed out during our presentation.
He's a good prof but wants you to go deep and reflect a lot on the material in class. For papers ans such express you feelings more then the material. Overall i would take him again
Lots of group work! Tough marker on assignments, but fair. If you follow the outline you will be fine!
Uses lots of real life examples in lectures which were helpful. Tons of group work. Material was pretty easy but tough marker on the assignments
The class was good. Craig has alot of personal experiences that make the topics easy to understand. The tests were very straight foreward and if you put some time in studying you are bound to do well. I recommend this class to anyone looking to learn more about business.
If you write down everything he writes on the board and memorizie it (don't worry, it isn't very much, the entitre class fit on 3 pages) you will do awsome on his exam
tests super easy, alittle of notes, straight forward, u cant fail,no way! but assignments, he's a bit a hard marker, but over all the guy is alright i wud take him for any other course
Nice guy but a little bit hard marker
LOVED THE CLASS. EASY TO LOOK AT TOO
He was one of my fav profs, wish he taught more. No Textbook and kept the class busy instead of just seating there and taking notes every class.
A bit wacky
Yeah the tests are easy but if you dont use his words then you wont get a good grade. Be careful, he is a sheep in wolfes clothing.
Fun class. He makes the material memorable in a weird sort of way. Memorize lists before the exams, and spit it back out, and you'll do fine.
He is one of the best prof. It was my first time to go to class b/c I want to. Easy class but useful in the future. He gets a lot of really examples. Super fun for him.
Hot prof. and cute exams too. Easy class.
Yea not so great
Awesome teacher!!! His material is so useful and make sence in the real life. You will definitely learn something from this class and get a good grade as well if you go to the class.
This is the best class i have ever taken, there is more**** in the class that relates to my life then all the other classes combined. Take it with him good guy and tells you what you need to know for the exam.
Great prof! Makes class super interesting! The class is a lot of interaction not alot of sitting and listening to theory. DONT BUY THE TEXT. I didnt open mine once. The course has 2 exams, 2 quizzes, a couple of group papers, a group presentation and a individual paper (3 pages) all the papers are really short! Grading is a little weird. Good Class
Don't buy the text. Interesting class, interesting way of running a class too. Craigs a nice guy and you'll actually learn stuff from this class.
I don't think that there is a more useful class offered at the university. Craig is an amazing guy, works hard to teach the class and you can tell. He is easy going but expects a lot from the class. The assignments are all easy, but can be time consuming. Go to class, pay attention, DON"T BUY THE TEXT BOOK. and you'll easily get an A.
Def a good class to take, excellent teacher. :)
Interesting class, very useful... didn't use the textbook at all. He used pop quizzes this last semester which were a dumb idea since even if you couldn't make it to the class you got zero on the quiz... He has an unprofessional appearance. The work is easy, but he expects a lot.
This is one of my best profs at the U of L.Always there to help and gives each student a chance to proof themselves. Its pretty easy to get an A because he makes learning fun and explains in details.I wish i could take more classes with him.He is a great guy.
Interesting material. Simple and clear notes. Fair marker and easy to excel in his class. Don't buy the text.
Very good at explaining topics, and speaking in general. Textbook is not needed. Probably not a good idea to miss this class, as the notes are extremely important. The thing I didn't like was his unbalanced marking. Extremely hard on tests, extremely easy on presentations/assignments.
Great prof. Extremely helpful. Always there if you need him. Assignments are fairly easy. Lots of group work. Make sure to write down everything on the board and memorize it. Do not buy the text book, although there is a new one coming out that may change that. Great prof highly recommended.
Totally helpful prof, lots of group work-pick your group carefully because you will work with them for the entire semester. Good stories and examples from the real world but is a bit narcissistic in that he doesn't often encourage/have class discussions so students can relate their own experience. Basically, go to class, take notes & you'll be good
Craig is an awesome prof. Clear and the material learned has real world application. I found it to be an interesting class with lots real life examples. Don't buy the text, go to class and take down all notes and memorize. I wish I could take more classes with Craig!
excellent
Guy was totally full of himself and had no real interest in the students, way too many quizzes, I didnt hate him, but I couldnt say that I liked him either
Craig is a great prof, and he made this class important and useful for your future endeavors. Go to his class, write down all his notes, and try to participate in break-out discussions and class, cause it's useful and helpful. Good guy with some great knowledge and real life examples
GREAT prof! He is a really nice guy, makes lectures interesting. The class seems kind of useless at first, but Craig makes the material relevant, and in the end I felt like I had learned some really valuable lessons. DEFINATELY take this course with Craig!
Good prof. Lots of useful material that is practical. Very helpful, always willing to give you advice and extra help when needed (and he is very busy, owns East Side Marios) I found the material easy but he marks fairly hard. He marks the essays very hard. I'd say he is one of the hardest markers I have had.
Craig is a great prof, easy to listen to and makes class fun and relevant. For the ladies... he is REALLY nice to look at! hehe :)
Craig is alot of fun, its SUCH an easy class. Be careful you who pick for your group (for group projects) you have them all semester. Exam questions come off the textbook website. Overall nice guy, good-looking, lots of stories and kinda funny. Im rocking an A+
GREAT proff! very easy going and approachable.. makes class very intresting & fun. group work throughout the semester. quizes & exams very easy, just go to class and write all the notes down & memorize different steps. DONT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! you won't need it if you just attend class
Awesome prof who has managerial experience! If you want a professor who understands concepts in management, take his class! Choose your group wisely!!!!
He's a pretty good guy. Has a lot of experience in the MGMT world and some good stories to go with it. He wants you to succeed, but is not going to spoon feed you. He is very fair. What you put into the class is what you get out. He is really big on Teams, but choose the members of your team wisely as your stuck with them the whole semester.
Craig is a good professor. His exams are easy and direct. However, he is a hard marker and not very consistent. His 3080 class is very helpful and easy to get a B, but hard to get an A.
He has no real interest in the students. Don't take his class.
Avoid Craig if you can. Unfair marker and grades papers based on things he doesn't specify that he wants. Craig has a big ego and has no general interest in the students. Extremely hard to get an A in this class but easy to get a B.
Craig is a great prof, and really knows his stuff. You'll hear a lot of "back in my _____ days" but it just shows how much real life experience he has had. Can be a harder marker but it is generally fair. I would definitely recommend a class with him.
Do not need textbook, just show up to class, you may not even need to take notes. Craig marks hard and he's a nice guy, but if you aren't invested deeply in the class you may have trouble. Likes his subject, but the subject is boring. Emphasis on group work and presentation. If you want an easy grade maybe avoid this one, go for something safer.
An amazing professor! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and makes the class very interesting and engaging. His tests are very easy, and he is a fair marker overall. He can be a little unclear with what he expects from written papers, but overall he is a great professor. He has a great rapport with students! Definitely recommend his class!
He can be a very hard marker. A lot of guidelines - make sure you read all of them and, keep them in mind throughout the whole semester. A lot of works to do! If you are taking it, make sure you have plenty of time. Make sure you choose a right team, otherwise you will be frustrated. For a management skill class, he has a very high standard on it.
Really good prof. He's really engaging and knows what he's talking about. The class was very active, so it wasn't just boring lectures all the time. Only problem, he loves team work, so make sure you have a good team, or you won't do well.
He's there to help if you need it and knows what he's talking about but get ready for "team" work and make sure you pick out a good one!
Overall great prof, knows his stuff, easy to talk to, runs great lectures, tests arnt too bad, has a good course system, gives lots of real life examples. Would definitely recommend him.
Craig's class is very helpful in the business world - however he tends to be unclear when asking you to complete assignments then corrects you for not doing it right the first time. However, he gives very beneficial and helpful feedback regarding actual life skills.
Great prof, loves class interaction. Makes group work enjoyable and you make friends in the management faculty.
Be prepared for a lot of team work. He's a tough grader. Class is interesting, but when it comes to grading, it is not interesting. No matter how well you think you have done, you will not get the grade you expect. Unfortunately, he's the only one taking the course so you are stuck with him.
Amazing prof. Gives clear and concise explanations which keeps students interested.
Craig is rather arrogant, but his class is easy so that makes up for it. The tests are all common sense no studying needed, just go to class. There is a group presentation based on a article (you can choose form 30) worth 20%. There is an individual paper, and a team paper both aren't hard. Must go to class, no textbook!
Craig is an amazing prof lectures are interesting, concise, defines things clearly with great examples. Uses an online text that is easy to use, not too much reading, and has quizzes which are an easy way to get a good grade. There is a fair amount of group work, Pick your group carefully. Meet with him when in doubt, very helpful. Loved the class.
Worst prof I have ever had. Condescending to students, unclear, thinks the stuff he teaches is important, its not, its common sense. The material I learned was the easiest I ever have and it will be my worst grade because he marks presentations so difficult. I hated his class, the material, the way he delivered it. A+ student, ruined my grade.
Nice Prof. Knowledgeable. Seems quite arrogant though. Sets the bar high. Have heard he 'prides himself on not giving out A's' - I can see that. Doesn't respond to emails quickly. Lots of group work. Get a good group early. Totally lecture based. You have to take notes to pass quizzes. No book. Seems impossible to do really well.
Craig's tests are easy, but it's essential that you attend class and take notes because there is no textbook. The group presentations are difficult, as he marks very hard. Make sure you get a good group and attend class! Otherwise, it's a pretty easy class, and Craig is a pretty awesome guy! Also, there's no final! Woohoo!
Craig is an awesome instructor. Really like intro to management. He is clear in explaining the material. The group project does take a lot of time to complete (make sure you choose a good group because you are stuck with them the whole semester) but he rewards you fairly. His grading scale is a bit higher than other classes. Textbook is online.
Craig seemed like a great professor, very interesting to hear speak, had some great examples of real life situations and was very positive. Things started to turn when I tried talking to him outside of class and got shut down. Then as the semester continued, we had a giant presentation that my group spent hours prepping for and he graded us awful.
Great prof, really enjoyed his lectures. Has a lot of information to offer but is a hard marker and expects a lot from you.
Favorite Prof !!!
All in all a pretty good class. Plenty of useful tips and the tests are quite easy. You'll have to go to class to get any information since he does not use slides or post any material (other than readings) online. There is one group presentation and paper that is weighed heavily so keep an eye out for a good team! Assignments had unclear expectatio
Craig has great lectures and provides a lot of useful information. However, he is a tough grader and expects that you know his notes inside out for quizzes. He is very observant of who is skipping class when it comes to attendance.
Craig is a fantastic instructor who is very engaging with the students. He is also helpful and wants you to do well. Many group oriented assignments.
Craig is full of great information though he is a tough marker, can be arrogant at times and doesn't take kindly to constructive feedback. Attending class is necessary, he spends 5-10 minutes ar the start of each class to review previous material, he's his own set of "notes" rather than textbook. There are also opportunities for extra marks.
Craig always makes class interesting. He does often talk about his P&G and Frito Lays days which is fine because at a certain point it becomes funny. He made a 3 hour lecture interesting and well worth coming to. No midterms or finals, only unit tests, small bit of weekly homework and a group project. Highly recommend taking a class with Craig.
Craig is great. Unlike many academics that only know how to teach, he has a lot of real world experience and knows how to incorporate that. Some claim he is arrogant but they are just intimidated by success. He pushes students to do their best work and doesn't cater to slackers. If you are willing to help yourself he will always help you.
Non- Cumulative testing as well as no final exam. 20% of Grade given is for attendance.
Craig's drinking some sort of Koolaid. I've been graduated for 6 years now and still think back to how silly his advise for real-world application was. His life-hack type of teaching was entertaining but now I see how hack-job it was.
Craig told us at the beginning of 3080, that it would seem like we were reviewing everything we had already learned, but really what hes doing is pointing neon arrows to things and helping us apply or recognize them in life. I hated the group stuff but found it very valuable and it didnt hurt my mark despite some group issues. Most valuable class
Craigs lecture and teaching abilities is the golden standard I hold my proffs to. I highly recommend him for people who care about attaining skills that are applicable to the real world and can take constructive criticism.
Charismatic Professor who makes class interesting. All work assigned seems reasonable. However... he is excruciatingly slow at posting up multiple choice exam marks.
Craig was an awesome professor - he was very personable, on time for class, and his lectures were interesting and easy to follow.
MGT 2081: He is very engaging, and provides great feedback on assignments, projects, and questions. His lectures/classes always have an agenda, and time for discussions. I would highly recommend taking this course, and his other courses, if you enjoy engaging in lectures and discussions.
Craig Milner is a one of a kind professor with really life experience that he wants to pass on to his students so they can be successful outside of school.
Craig is a nice guy, but his teaching style is very "out-there". He doesn't believe in using PowerPoints to supplement his lectures, so all you are given are long, boring readings outside of class. He is a tough and unfair grader, and his feedback is quite subjective. He is accessible outside of class which was a plus.
Just a great human in all aspects, unique way of delivering the idea for everything with a hella of life experience. If you want to be an entrepreneur this guy is the key.
acceptable but i will never take his class again.
One of the best professors that I've ever had in university. Don't miss the opportunity to take one of his classes.
I probably will not do a course with this professor again. Considering the class is introduction to professional communication, you would think it would be a pretty simple class. His expectations were not very clear and his marking was not easy at all. The course was harder than my 3000/4000 ones. His lectures were pretty entertaining though.
Great guy and his lectures seem like he actually cares. The online lectures can get stale after a while but if you participate they're actually pretty fun. Would take again if given the opportunity.
Craig is a great professor who brings real-world experience to the classroom. His lectures are engaging, and he pushes students to do their best. Unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the textbook.
