This course is a fun general ed, and Craig makes it funny. I dreded science and waited until the last semester to take it, but it's been great. He seems mean at first, but it's just a front.

Craig is really funny, but I didn't know several people who had trouble with his class. I honestly didn't know why but they did. If you want a fun science class I am sure this is the instructor to take.

CRAIG IS AWESOME! He was recommended by a friend, so i took him for Ocean 10 and then again for Geo 10. I swear the man is awesome. By far the best teacher at Mt. Sac.

Craig was awesome. He was super helpful and fun. tests are from lecture notes so they are pretty easy. If you have to take a physical science for your gen. ed then why not have fun with it and learn about earthquake and volcanoes.

Craig was great. He his teaching style facilitated my learning and made things clear and simple to understand. He is very lively and keeps you on your toes. I both of the classes I had with him. The field trips to the S.A. Fault and tide pools were awesome too.

Really funny and nice guy. The class was really interesting but come test time you better pray. Study guides are really vague and very long and don't prepare you much. The book was HORRIBLE, you would do fine if you didn't buy it because it just confuses you more! Take the class but study carefully and ask a lot of questions to make things clear.

I have never study anything like meterology and Craig made is fun and was good about explaining everything. Take good notes and study. Don't forget to study your ICE assignments either.(When you get there you'll see.) Sit back and enjoy the show, Craig is funny.

Craig is always jokes around in his lectures. His class is really fun and interesting. He didn't give you enough notes on the board, but he provides you with the notes from his website. Study from the textbook is also helpful although he never used it. The final exams is really easy since he only copy and paste the questions from the previous exams

He is a great guy. I've never been good in sciences but he helped me out a lot through the semester. Be sure to take advantage of his office hours and get to know him. He's always willing to help his students out, with anything.

Very fun atmosphere. He jokes a lot and makes you feel comfortable. The subject matter is a little tough but there's a fun field trip at the end.

C Webb is a great god. He makes the weather so fun and his humor is great. No homework but you gotta study for the test, but he leaves study guides on his mt sac site so thats good. He offers to lunch with you and is so friendly. if you want a fun class where you learn then this is it. I recomend him to everyone. He is GOD!!

His class is really interesting. His jokes are funny and he makes the material interesting. Tests are really hard, but they are off his lecture, so if you go to class and study beforehand you should pass. The field trips rocks!

Craig is hilarious! No homework. 4 exams and drops the lowest one. Just like every other class, if you study for the test you'll do well. Oh ya! I definitely recommend you to take him in the Spring so you won't have to do the Hurricane Tracking Project... it was seriously SO time consuming. Definitely one of my favorite teachers. He is always in a good mood, and enjoys what he teaches. The tests are fair; not too diffcult. Just go over notes (which you just copy from the board during lecture). The field trip helped you get to know others in the class, and improved the comfort of the class. Definitely take him!

C.Webb is the FUNNIEST prof. I have EVER had. He'll make you laugh in class EVERYTIME you guys meet. He makes class ten times better and funner :]. Professor Webb is very enthusiastic about his teachings. He is very funny and talks a lot about almost every subject possible. The tests are multiple choice, short answers, and drawing diagrams. Prepare to take notes in his long and usually humorous lectures. If you study, you should pass.

Hard challenging class. you HAVE to study your notes and read the book. but most of his exams are based on his notes. ATTENDANCE is a must because if you have perfect attendance, you'll get 10 xtra pts. his exams are real hard. its more fill in than multiple choice.

He is extremely funny and very nice, he always comes into class with a big smile on his face. The way he teaches is simple and straight forward. He uses handouts for his slide shows. i cant believe ppl are writing horrible things about mr.webb! i took him about a year ago & the class was so interesting & fun. you dont use the book much, just take notes, and the tests are not too hard, but not too easy. he's a GREAT & FUNNY teacher. TAKE HIM!!!!

Craig's class is honestly not that hard if your the type of student who doesnt study then dont take this class because thats the only way you will pass this class you never use the book in class but you need it for when you study because class notes will not get you far on the test if you study then tha test are a piece of cake

Easy class, but I learned a lot. Hes funny, helpful, and nice. Dont even need the book at all if you take notes from his powerpoint. 4 tests make up ur grade, all you got to do is study your notes and get an easy A. Overall I learned a lot and it wasnt a hard class at all. Highly recommended!

I had so much fun in his class. i learned a lot because he makes it easy for everybody to understand. I'm not interested in earth science before i just took it coz having a fieldtrip sounds so cool. and now i talk about all the things i learned from him a lot. i even thought about being a geologist. but my major is accounting. teehee.

The lab is 3 hours long, so prof Webb tries to make the best out of it. Sometimes hes not really clear, but if u ask him questions you'll be ok. He's a funny guy. Test are ok, but the labs are really important.

Professor is cool and funny! 3 Tests and a final. Tests consist of multiple choice, fill in and 1 field study question. 1 field report and ATTENDANCE IS A MUST! Very detailed class but manageable. You have to put time into reading and research! For some this class is easy but for others can be hard. Difficult to tell, but fun class sessions.

Easy class if you study. Great sense of humor and very helpful. Don't just depend on the class notes, READ THE BOOK! Drops lowest test score and FINAL is easy if you review. The San Andreas Field trip was a great learning experience. If you don't have any interest for Geology or Natural disasters then don't waste his time because he is reasonable.

Class was actually very hard. AVG test score is 55-65%. 3-5 Page vague study guides that's don't help. You will have a higher chance of failing than passing this class even if you do all the work or show up everyday. Thanks to this class, my 4.0 dropped. I passed, but definately not recommended! Specially if you are a slacker which I never was.

Fair professor, very funny and helpful. Lectures are all powerpoint. 3 Tests (drops lowest one), 2 quizes, 1 final and fieldtrip report. Alot of information so study!! Final is same questions from the previous tests and from last lecture in class. But even with that, this is not an easy course!! Make sure you keep track of your grade!!!

I took Webb last semester. His natural disasters class is interesting but very detailed. Webb has a great sense of humor and class is all powerpoint and note taking. 4 Tests drops lowest one and final. Also field trip report. If you don't go to field trip = F. Interesting & Fun class! There are 4 exams, 1 field trip and he offers very few EASY hw assignments (like extra credit. The exams are not hard. Just understand the material and read the notes. He hands back the exams, and STUDY those! Same questions on final! Easy A if you put some effort!

A Duke University graduate and someone who truly has a dedication for geology and meteorology. Professor Webb is one force to be reckon with by challenging and taking you where no other science instructor has. I am an A student and got a C but gained a lot of new knowledge. Newbs and slackers will automatically fail unless you are dedicated.

Professor Webb is one of, if not the greatest professors at Mt Sac. The greatest teacher I've ever had in my entire educational career. I've taken 4 of his offered courses now because he is such a great and interesting instructor! He truly makes learning fun! Never a dull moment in his classes! Mr. Webb is such a great professor! Yeah he is strict about phones, but if you are rude enough to be using your phone in class while he is teaching, you need to learn some basic manners anyway. No homework no wooded at all, except the syllabus quiz online, but that's nothing about the materials. tests are very easy, all based on the notes. so take notes or copy from the PowerPoint. attending the class is mandatory, because he gives you extra credit if you'd never been tardy or missed any class. extra credit every test.

Great teacher, he loves teaching about earth science. Don't be afraid to ask questions, he answers it very thoroughly making sure that you understand it. He makes the lecture interesting and fun, he really likes to make puns. He gives you an outline of the notes and the test are usually made out of the notes and some material from the books.

A different style of teaching, super enthusiastic about the curriculum. Gives (what should be) common knowledge about all factors of natural disasters aka "Earth want to kill you". Great class and I would take it again, not an easy A, but definitely manageable.

Craig is hilarios! I took him for 3 classes because he is that awesome of a professor. He gives 3 tests and 1 final throughout the semester, but he drops the lowest score of the tests (including the final). I never got an A in any of his classes but i got a B in 23. I would definitely take him, i usually fall asleep in science but he made me not!

Professor Webb is a good teacher, a lot of my friends who had taken him say he failed them because they couldn't pass any of the exams and the final, the reason I got out with a C is because the extra credit questions are based off from the power point lectures, you'll need to pay attention to the pictures in order to pass the exams and the final.

A very passionate professor, not a science major but I really enjoyed the class. Attendance is key to passing the exams but the textbook is not for the lecture class. I recommend taking both lab & lecture at the same time so it's easier to remember & understand. Labs were easy but a bit tedious. Lectures were full of energy & always interesting.

Professor Webb made earth science interesting. He reminds me of Bill Nye but with corky humor. He certainly knows his stuff so I'd suggest you pick his brain. He was very entertaining and inspired me to learn more about earth science. You won't regret taking his class. He's very thorough and attentive to his students! Awesome teacher!

I took Professor Webb for Winter (Natural Disasters) and the class was way too fast! I highly recommend taking him for winter/summer. There is a field trip so be prepare for that. He also has a good sense of humor, he is energetic! Fun class, a little challenging. Half way done with the class I had a low C. Ended up passing with a high B.

What an energetic engaging professor. He has handouts for notes and these notes are exactly whats on his test. Anyone who finds him difficult is not putting in effort. He overall was a really positive experience and someone who enjoys teaching. Air Rises, Cools, Condenses and forms Clouds. Amazing and wish him the best.

If you study the notes he gives, you will pass the exams. what you need to do to get an A is read the textbook. If you read the textbook every chapter, the texts will be easy. So consider the notes as an outline for reviewing exams and read the textbook. Has extra credits on ever exam, so I end up getting over 100% final grade.

Took him in the winter and he was full of energy at 7:30 am. The notes and quizzes he posts online are pretty much your study guide for the exams. Very straight up.

The subject matter alone should satisfy your curiosity. Clear and concise lectures; injects energy in to the class; lets you know what's expected, but no surprises.

Professor Webb is AMAZING! He is a ball of energy and extremely enthusiastic. This makes the subject a lot easier to understand. The class isn't easy but he makes it clear on what he is going to have on the test. He passes out lecture notes that you fill in as he's lecturing. It helps so much! Would 100% recommend taking.

Easy class, just do the quizzes and exams. Though there are a lot of exams and quizzes they are not hard at all, all are based on the lecture slides. And the final as well as the review quizzes for the final are based solely on pass exams and quizzes.

Best professor ever. No hw, a quiz every week but as long as you MEMORIZE the notes for each chapter you will pass! The quizzes are 99% from the notes + mini quiz so study them. One of my favorite college professors! Has fun lectures, loves questions, and is super energetic. He drops your lowest exam. Quizzes and the lecture notes he provides are as a study guide for exams. If you read the textbook you will be well prepared for exams. Because of extra credit and plenty of studying, I finished with 111% in the class.

Amazing professor! Happy to answer questions, keeps introductory lectures short before you work on your practice lab, and is super energetic. No textbook is required, he provides a 'textbook' that he wrote for free, and he drops your lowest-scoring exam. If you do well on your first two exams and post labs then he lets you drop the final exam!

Professor Webb is one of the greatest professors out there. I had fun learning in his class. Professor Webb gives out a lot of extra credit, so it's impossible to fail his class unless you don't try or study. The only thing I advise on is to study for the exams. Other than that, I highly recommend this class and professor.

Great instructor, he keeps us entertained with his lectures. He prints out the notes for you with some fill in the blanks for you to follow along during his lectures. There are a total of 4 exams and the Final. Before each exam may have 2-3 quizzes that are done on Canvas. Study the note handouts and you will do good.

Professor Webb's METO3 class is a blast - he keeps things engaging and provides tons of extra credit. The tests are manageable if you study the note handouts. I also found unstuck AI super helpful for exam prep.

Prof super patient and keeps the class entertained with his enthusiasm and interest in Geo 10.The exams are easy if you study the packets that he gives so for sure keep up with that and to not miss the little quizzes on canvas. I loved this class, he is a sweet man with funny dad jokes. The course was super easy going, I missed about half the semester and he was so lenient and helped me stay on track, I will admit I did not touch the book or study once and I got a B. He gives many bonus points and extra credit, if you take lab to show up, its difficult if you don't

Professor Craig was a funny, and lively teacher. He explains a lot of the material thoroughly, and it's fairly easy to understand. He also tends to cancel class a lot, I noticed a pattern of about every 2 weeks he cancels a class.

Great Professor, he's very caring and likes to make a lot of jokes. He sometimes points out things you should know for the exams during his lectures. He gives a lot of extra credit throughout the semester. You don't need to buy the textbook, you will never use it. Overall pretty easy class as long as you study a little bit. Definitely recommend!

Geol10 with Professor Webb was a great and easy class. Very funny and laid back. He provides notes and posts everything on Canvas so no need to buy textbook. Amazing and engaging lectures, he is passionate about what he teaches. Free field trip and a few exams throughout the semester, just make sure you study and pay attention during lectures.

Awesome! Most of the information given is on the tests which contain hidden extra credit questions. The final was a combination of all the test. So, keep all of them if you want to study (most questions are MCQ's). Provides lecture packets to fill out and is funny but they can become very boring. Very easy if you just listen and study lecture notes

Prof. Webb has a great attitude and passion about his class. Pro: homework was very light (MCQ's) + 1 Field trip project Con: testing well will make or break your grade. The field trip assignment wasn't clear The final is essentially only questions from previous tests. Save your tests. good in person should be well online.
