He was my last teacher in my undergraduate career, I am an FIU student and I wished I would of known of him before I would of taken my other accounting courses with him. This professor is a lot of fun and very entertaining, not to mention extremely hot. He enjoys teaching and if he was a professor for all the accounting classes I would change my major. He is very helpful yes there is work to do but thats the point it is to Learn. Take his class you will enjoy it.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Very humble & down to Earth. Really knows his accounting & makes it interesting! 1 Exam was take home, gave a month to do the HW & offers loads of extra credit! It's a difficult class but your grade is the equivalant of your effort. It's not an easy A, but Prof. Fonseca is respectful and helpful. Excellent professor. He offers TONS of extra credit to help you pass & plenty of time to complete HW. Communicates regularly via email and stays after class if needed. He's humble and pretty funny sometimes. Don't expect a free A, like in any other class, you have to WORK for it! Study foe exams, they're not easy.

This class is difficult, the professor made it clear. I did not read the book before coming to class (WHICH I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND) But He explained the curriculum to the point that I felt that i didn't need to read the book, because i understood when he explained. In this class YOU NEED TO DO THE HW every week, you cannot procrastinate. and STUDY!

He is a great teacher and does a great job explaining the stuff he does explain. However, he does not explain everything you need to know. He gives plenty of opportunities to get a good grade. Talks fast during class but he is more than happy to slow down/repeat if asked. He throws stuff in the exam designed to trip students up. Not an easy A or B.

Accounting is a difficult subject, knowing the subject is difficult he offers A LOT of extra credit. Point is: Good professor. He has real world experience. Doesn't read straight from the book. Gives plenty of extra credit to help boost grade. That’s all you could ask for from a professor that teaches a difficult subject.

Prof. Fonseca is very knowledgeable and experienced. Gives lots of chances to improve your grade. He is direct and to the point, gets to know each of his students. What else can you ask for? If you are willing to do your part by attending class, doing ALL HW to 100% and extra credits, an A is definitely obtainable.

Managerial is a challenging class. It is hard but if you put your maximum effort you will pass. He gives you plenty of chances to pass. He explains the subject thoroughly and is an excellent knowledgeable professor. You have three tests in total plus hw and quizzes.

This professor is the best; nevertheless, do not expect to have an easy ride. You will have fun in his classs while learning, you will suffer with how much work/learning you have to put into his class, but at the end, you would have learned more than you have ever learned with any other class. He gives you multiple opportunities to pass your class.

The exams for this class are horrible, my grades were 75, 50 & 65, but I still managed to pass this class with an A (98%) That's how much professor Fonseca is willing to help. Just make sure, to do all the HW & Ex Credits. Classes are not boring, he is very funny, and loves to talk about general subjects. If you are willing to do the work take him!

I was able to pass the FIU Entrance Exam and the ACG4101 class with a B. His private tutoring classes do really prep you for the worst. Contact him if you need private tutoring. He is the BEST and he is there for you all the time.

This class was a tough class for me. I failed two of the three exams yet I passed the class with an A since I did all of my EX CR. & HW. The Assignments are lengthy and time consuming. The professor is knowledgeable and his lectures are clear. Not an easy A but if you work hard it is possible.

One of the best professors I've had at MDC. Prof. Fonseca is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his students and their progress. Great professor, definitely recommend him! He does look out for his students as much as possible. For those that are an accounting major he offers a private Entrance Exam prep class which is DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! I passed my FIU entrance exam thanks to his tutoring and help.

Great teacher, cares about your grade, gives enough extra credit for you to pass regardless of your test grades. A lot of work and time consuming, but for a difficult class he makes it as doable as possible. Tough tests, but the homework and quizzes are online. Took both accounting classes with him. Not only will he test your limits but give you the tools to succeed. He encourages you to learn and to work hard. Although a tough subject your commitment to yourself and your education will be tested.

Professor Fonseca is a good person! he loves what he does. you have to pay over 100$ for extra credit which can bring you from a C to an A easily. He doesn't really teach he just does examples from the book. when you ask him a question he makes you answer it which can be annoying. but you can always reach him via text or whats app which is good!

Professor Fonseca is very nice & is helpful, but the only thing I found ridiculous was that we had to pay $125 for extra credit to pass his class. The homework & quizzes are easy, it's just those 3 tests are really hard! I ended with a B in the class thanks to the extra credit. He has great lectures, it's just the test aren't easy.

If you take his class you'll have to work and study a lot. His tests are very hard and nothing to do with the book's examples. To pass them you have to really know the material. This professor is the most difficult one I have taken so far or I have some many too easy classes. Although he's hard, he's the most caring professor I have come across. I didn't do the extra credit and I got a B as a final grade. Read the chapters before class. We had some take home exams and with a partner. Exams are based on his lectures.

He is great instructor even though he is a hard one :). if you want to learn accounting this is the guy-to-go to. He will prep you for the accounting entrance exam as well. I passed this entrance :). I will be taking his private class for Intermediates classes. Students you must do your work since he does his and he does not use powerpoints.

I hated accounting because of him... The class is not difficult but he gives difficult problems to solve on exams. I don't recommend his class for those that work and have a busy life. However; he does help you by giving extra credit and he does care about those who want to learn.

Was this class hard? Hell yes but Fonseca is probably the only teacher in three years of university level classes that I felt cared at all about his students passing.
