Three midterms that include I.D.'s, primary document analysis, and short essay. She gives you a study guide with the words, documents, and essay questions for the test but only uses a couple so you have to study all but only get tested on a few. Assigns one term paper. Really nice, interesting lectures. Group work every session.

I will probably get an A but this class was not easy. Her tests are all essay form so it requires a lot of memory and studying. Plus this history class is like a "revisionist history" class. Took her Spring 2015 and she is a kind hearted lady. I couldn't afford the textbook or online access and she gave them to me. Exams are all essays so know your history! Weekly online quizzes (worded in a confusing manner) Group projects, little moviesvideos, weird grading scale, late to post grades. She loves questions and will go into depth.

I took this class online while pregnant and still passed with a B. I took history TWICE before , failed once and withdrew Once. When I say I really had a hard time with this subject and was overwhelmed with the course, I was going to drop the class once again and she talked me out of it. I'm glad she did because I passed and I can't thank her enoug

Honestly, I would avoid taking her course if I were you. I took an online course with her. That seems pretty easy -- right? Her class was not easy at all. Be prepared to spend three hours, minimum, on homework. She requires at least four mini-essays per week. And her online homework assignments can leave you with negative points for wrong answers

I absolutely hated this course. She wants to make History unnecessarily difficult by making quizzes very difficult. There are lots of reading, and it's a very torturous course.
