She is a very sweet teacher. Her class is very fun. Attendance is required but its a fun class, you won't mind going.

This professor is fantastic! She is tough and expects a lot from her students but thats because she gave alot to us. I was bombing the first few quizzes she gave and she called me in her office. I felt like a little kid in trouble but she was super sweet and helped me. I went from F's to makin an A on the final exam. The best teacher UNT has!!

AMAZING teacher!!! She explains everything thorough in a format that everyone can understand. She isn't one of those out to fail you but instead does everything possible to help the student succeed as well as understand the material of the class.

GREAT TEACHER! easy on the eyes and super knowledgeable. Only two test, I failed the first one but I think I'm still getting a B overall for the class. She's considerate of your proficiency which I loved. Definitely recommend her as long as your willing to read and study a little.

I've taken a class with her three different times and she is amazing! Always helpful and every course she's taught is really interesting. The only way to fail is by trying to do so and as long as you're on top of everything it's really easy to make an A. Attendance is mandatory so dont take it if you're prone to skipping. Highly recommend it!

She is an amazing professor! The class is supper fun and the films are pretty funny and interesting for the most part. The only thing I didn't like was that the book had to be purchased and shipped from Spain, there were difficulties obtaining it from the publisher. I had to cancel my order because it took so long,I just shared with a classmate.

The class was great! I love watching movies so this was perfect for me. I did not like the book. The readings were very long and boring, but a chapter a week is doable.

She will speak English to emphasize important concepts. I highly recommend this professor and I plan to take her courses again. Although, her method is challenging, it allows for considerable student growth. After all, this is a graduate level course.

She's Awesome. She makes it easy to speak up and give your opinion on the topics of discussion. Attendance is mandatory, but the class is enjoyable so your time spent is not miserable and asleep.

I enjoyed every day in this class because of the teacher. She is very warm and open and does not hold everyone to the same standard. She understood that everyone comes from different levels and tried to help all of us improve instead of expecting everyone to be fluent. She is also very full of energy and did her best to make the class fun.

She is super nice and understanding, the only thing is that sometimes she would be late to class or forget about certain assignments, which could be frustrating when I was waiting to give a speech but it was postponed 2 weeks. Other than that, she gave us a pretty good challenge in conversing in Spanish. Could have been more difficult but thats me.

Dr. S-C is a gem that should be treasured by UNT. Her intelligence & vast experience is felt during class, creating a situation where the students want to be there & learn from her. She compliments the textbook with films, regional dances and exercises that blow textbook learning away. I'm sad that I am graduating and can't take her film courses!

Awesome professor.So passionate about her subject area that it is contagious. I went in with little interest in the subject matter and by the end was totally converted. She is very clear and thorough and very accepting of others' views. If you desire to be challenged and learn something new, definitely take her class!

The class I took was Spanish through Cinema. At first, the theme of Spain culture seemed a bit boring. But now I can say, I learned a lot about Spanish culture after Franco. I learned to appreciate the culture and class. Professor Sanches-Conejero, was an awesome, down to earth, and intelligent teacher! You won't regret taking her!

If you arent fluent in spanish do not take it! but she will help you thoroughly so that you make an A!! Fun active learning in her class!

This teacher is amazing! She truly has a passion for what she does and she is clear on what she expects. Coursework is not overwhelming and it is very manageable. She keeps the class interesting and shows her personality...something that I would like to see from all professors.

She is so wonderful, both as a professor and person. Taking her classes is always such a joy for me and I have also learned a lot from her. This course in particular was very interesting and a nice change from a lot of the other (kind of dull) elective courses offered at UNT

This is a very passionate and energetic professor who obviously loves the subject she teaches. She always maintains positive energy in the classroom which makes class time much more enjoyable. She is also very good at engaging with her students and making them feel comfortable to participate. I would recommend her class to anyone!

Cristina is fantastic! She is very understanding and creates a fun learning environment. I talked about all of her film selections outside of class and she made me want to come to class. I never missed her class. I really enjoyed the way she combined history lessons with really cool movies.

Her film class has probably been my favorite class! Take her, you wont regret it.

Professor is super helpful and nice. The quizzes are for the most part easy and the essays are about the same, just be sure to know where accents go.

Christina Sanchez-Conjero is amazing! She has a positive attitude throughout the entire semester which makes the class enjoyable. Exams are not crazy hard as long as you watch the films and answer the questions she provides. Essays are based on opinions of the film. She tries to help students I would take it again!

AMAZING professor. Very fun class. She makes it interesting and super funny. It's very easy in my opinion. My lowest grade was like a 95, but attendance is pretty important.

She is very helpful, and made learning about the history of Spain and its culture, entertaining as well as interesting.

She is pretty cool. The course is difficult if you are taking it and you are a minor but you can get through with enough studying.

One of the best professors we have, she has helped me grow a great deal as a Master's student thanks to her expertise and professionalism. Without her extensive knowledge on the latest critical literary theories and texts, this department would be lacking tremendously. Tenacious, intelligent professors like Dr. Sánchez deserve far more recognition.

One group presentation, 2 exams and that is your grade. Overall if you go to class and paid attention to the films and lecture you will pass the exams. The exams do not have alot of questions and they are not multiple choice. Very easy class if you pay attention. The Presentation is easy.

This was a very stimulating class that consisted of two exams and one group presentation. The movies were great. If you pay attention, take notes, watch the movies, you'll pass with a good grade!

I loved her class so much, she is very sweet and helpful. You will watch a lot of movies (they are so great! and interesting!) Attendance is mandatory, because she grades your participation as well, there are so many opportunities for points in class. I took the online course, and it was very doable, you will have to do a presentation in the end.

If you're anxious about Spanish & speaking it, she's the best professor to take. The in-class speaking is VERY minimal, you mostly speak altogether as a class or in pairs. She spends the majority of class sharing personal stories or is teaching! She is super sweet, caring, and understanding and will bring snacks/treats whenever she can!!

I love this professor because she is really easy to work with about missing quizzes and exams. Attendance is mandatory because she uses it as a participation grade. My only issue is that she moves really quickly in class, as she mainly speaks in Spanish for class. Take notes and then add on to them with your own understanding and textbook help.
