I like her. Some people don't. If you take good notes in her class you are good to go! It's all about memorization! Plus, you can tell she really LOVES her work. And she curves =)

Tests are very easy! Don't bother buying the book, tests are on the lecture notes. The class lectures are really boring becasue the material is so easy. She's nice and helpful.

This class is so easy. Only 2 homework assignments, tests are multiple choice and maps. class time is spent listening to lecture and then she shows slides. We never use he text book. Just do the maps and take good notes and you can get an ease "A".

She is a great professor. She has TONS of experience and she loves the subject. She also have millions of slides to show from all around the world. 2 homework assignments and easy scantron tests make the class even better...

Very informative class. Teach loves her job and takes pride in her worldly travels. Tests are on lecture, so show up and pay attention, and get an easy A. Reccomend her for CA Geog, and geog 3. I will take future geog classes with her.

Half the class is lecture and the last half if Slides from her trips around the glob. I think if you are a very visual learner than you DEFINATELY should take her class!!! She has literally been everywhere in the entire world. She also gives a TON of information during her lecture. There are only a couple homework assignments and tests. Easy A

I took her 2x because her class was so easy, the only trick is 2 go EVERY DAY!if you are a slacker-do not take it, but if you care about school it is really easy.Plus if you show up everyday she gives you extra credit & you are practically guaranteed an A. Unbelievably simple! Go to class, learn all the definitions, learn all highlighted words in the text reading and get an A+. I can't believe how many students got low grades on her tests. JUST STUDY THE WORD LIST. Take her, she's awesome!

Great, great professor. Gives true meaning to what a college professor should offer: tons of experience, well lectured classes, very clear assignments and tests, and a sense of humor. She shouldn't dissapoint anyone because her class is interesting and not too difficult.

Fun class! She does notes for about half the class then the rest of the time is spent showing slides of where she has been (everywhere). Very very little required homework. She's fun and its an easy class :) Suggest taking it.

She is a really cool lady..full of energy. She takes attendance, so go to class every day. If you study the vocab list you will do fine on the tests. She keeps you entertained by telling about her world travels..she has been everywhere-it's amazing!I recommend her to everyone

Professor Brenner is a great teacher. Class was interesting and very easy assignments. She lets you know exactly what will be on the test with the vocab sheets. She shows a lot of fun slides and knows the subject really well. You need to attend class to get the A.

Teacher made you work for your grade. Must study the vocab or else you fail. Make sure to attend every class and do the projects. Enjoyed the picture and stories of trips. Nice teacher but be sure to take lots of notes in class.

You have alot of time to complete the homework the assignments are easy she even lets you turn them in late,theres four tests study the vocab lists and lecture notes before your tests. didn't use book except to study before the test but used the atlas alot. nice teacher easy class just show up and take notes. Very sweet, funny, interesting lady and a good teacher! She obviously loves her subject and teaches it well! There are three exams and one final (comprehensive) exam. Assignments are easy. As long as you take good notes, study her study guides and make flashcards for each test, you should be fine!

Professor Brenner is very clear on what's expected of you. Show up for class, pay attention, take good notes and study them well for the tests (3 plus a comprehensive final). There were only a few assignments, which were easy. Tests were a bit stressful because so much material was covered. I didn't read the textbook but still got an A using notes.

She is a great teacher. As long as you do the notes you will pass the class super easy just study the notes. before each unit she hands out a study guide so u have it from the beggining! not many assignments and if there is it is very easy! Love her as a teacher she keeps you interested

She is such a nice lady and extremely passionate about geography. The tests are basically the notes you take in class, and are pretty easy. She is very helpful and accepts late work. I highly recommend this class, I would take it again.

Amazing teacher, very helpful and clear. Very little homework, only 3 maps and a "semester project" which can be done the day before. The tests are a little bit difficult, but she grades on a curve and is extremely helpful. Overall a very interesting professor, and extremely nice person.

Professor Brenner was a great teacher and person to learn from. She loves what she does and that is apparent from her bubbly personality and how she controls the classroom. The class itself is a bit difficult but as long as you do the projects and HW, you can easily pass with a C. She also curves the tests/finals on a BIG scale.

Overall Brenner was a great instructor that teaches at a high school level which is perfect for incoming freshmen. I'm very unhappy though with the fact that in the beginning of the course she stated that we don't need a text book so I didn't get one but on all of our exams except the final, we needed book answers! Disappointed.

Ms. Brenner's class was a lot of fun. She is very fair, enthusiastic, and knowledgable. As long as you show up to class and take notes, you will do well on her exams, I don't think I cracked open my book once and still got an A.

Great Instructor, You can tell she has been refining this course over time. Very interesting, great slide presentations. "This woman knows Geography!" Buy the Atlas, forget about the $120.00 text book, and take notes.

Brenner is my hero. She has been everywhere! Almost all her lectures contain her own pictures of places she's been. She's full of stories. Easy class if you show up and pay attention. My only complaint,kids in the class acted like highschool freshman, and she didnt seem to have good control. However, nicest lady ever and clearly loves what she does

Professor Brenners is a really nice person, but she lacks organizational skills, which can make the class frustrating. This class was probably my hardest one, and I felt like all my energy was being put into it. She has some slideshows & the tests are rather detailed, so you'll have to review a lot. Make flashcards for the exams, which are helpful.

Brenner knows her stuff. World traveler and excited about sharing her experiences. Enjoyed the Class, found it interesting, applicable to everday life. To pass you need to study and know the material. Critical thinking a must to do well on exams. No excuse for failing the class, she give you the answers if you only pay attention and "show up".

Amazing!She has been everywhere and includes personal photos she has taken from her travels in almost all lectures. She is oldschool with a corky personality and very fun. One homework map assignment for every unit and a current event paper is all the homework assigned. If you make flashcards and go to class you are pretty much guaranteed an A.

Loved her! Gives 4 homework assignment, with clear instructions for full points. Study guides for every test that actually cover what will be on the test. Positive, smart, and very nice! She loves what she is teaching and you can tell because every lecture she gives you an extended look at what your studying because she has traveled everywhere!

I love the way she teaches. I was interested the whole time. She is funny and has fascinating stories of her and her friends experiences. shows real pictures she took of the places she has been that relates to each topic. Gives study guide terms each unit and has very easy homework. no presentations.

Do NOT buy the textbook! She asks like 4 questions on the test from it and nothing from the book is on the final! I wasted so much $ on it & never opened it! She is kinda crazy but her class isn't too hard. The first test is hard but it gets easier. The final is a piece of cake and there is no hw and only 1 project. I ended with an A. Take notes!!

Easy class if you attend the lectures. Test questions are exactly the same as what is taught in the lectures except for a 2 or 3 each test that are from the book. Do the assignments, attend the lecture easy A.

Very fair and organized teacher. Only 4 homework assignments and each due date has a week "grace period" just in case you forgot to do it. 4 tests including the final. Gives you a key term study guide for each. Lectures all class and is boring, but does show pictures and shares stories of where she's been. Go to class, participate, study - pass.

Awesome teacher. She is so helpful! All of the trips she has been on are on power point and she tells her stories from the trip and correlates it in the class.

Professor Brenner was great! Her Lectures were super detailed and the tests are mostly off her lectures. If you study your notes from your lectures you should do fine on the tests. There is a total of 3 tests plus a final. There is one paper you have to write but its super easy! 3 homework assignments too. Take Brenner if you want to pass!

She spends three classes worth of time describing the Grand Canyon and Evolution for "context" but both topics have nothing to do with any of the required learning material. 85% of the material is to be learnt from her slide show presentation. The other 15% of the material may only self-taught from the textbook. Her class requires everyday study

She's freaking adorable and teaches super thoroughly. She certainly knows her stuff. An 85 and above in the class is considered an A. She has really interesting stories due to the fact that she's traveled almost everywhere, but she also teaches super useful information that I've already used outside of class. I'd definitely recommend taking her.

Just go to every class and write down everything you are supposed to. She indicates what to write down from the slides. 4 homework assignments, easy if you give yourself time to do them right (maps etc) 3 tests and a final 50 multi choice each, non cumulative, and they wont be hard if you just study. You MUST study hard to get an A, most got BsCs

Ms. Brenner has the most fascinating stories and has literally traveled the world. Class consists of lecturesslides with handouts to take notes with. Some homework but not a ton and one paper due at the end of the semester. Her tests are hard so be prepared to study.

Professor Brenner was great! As most have mentioned, she tells interesting stories from her travels and has the pictures to go along with them. One thing, her lectures are LONG. A lot of writing. And her tests are tough, with diagrams. Other than that, her class was enjoyable and i think she's a great teacher ! She'll inspire you to travel !

I had taken this class already and was dreading to have to take it again, but professor brenner literally made me look forward to class! Brenner is very passionate about geography, and fun to learn from. Some lectures can be boring, but she helps to make them bearable. Only 500 points, so be thorough with the few assignments.

Professor Brenner has so much life experience & knowledge about the subject. I will admit to having a difficult time in this class because the tests are very challenging, but in the end I was able to eke out an A. I recommend going to her office hours to ask questions, ALWAYS being in class & being attentive in her occasionally tedious lectures.
