Great teacher very helpful if you don't understand something. She lets you use 1 page of notes on the tests and is a lot of fun. More like a student than a teacher. Would definatly take another math class from her

Crystal is a really good teacher. Always seems happy to be there and excited to be teaching. It's refreshing to have a teacher who you get the impression that she actually enjoys teaching you. If I had to take more math classes, they would be from her!

Crystal kicks ass. She is always full of energy and it is really tough to throw her off balance with an odd question. Painfully helpful and almost ready to self-combust with energy. Very good math teacher.

What more can be said? Crystal is an amazing teacher. She is very clear about the subject matter, and makes sure everyone understands before moving on. She is young, but that makes her a better teacher because she still remembers what its like to be a student! I would totally take all my classes with her if I could!

I am amazed at just how much she *loves* math. I seriously do recommend taking Math 130 and 131 before taking this class so that you better understand why the mathimatians we study are important. Start your research project early and this class is not too tough. Crystal is understanding and friendly.

Absolutely the most awesome math teacher ever! No matter what level of math you are at, she can help you to interpret it and use it. I hadn't taken a math class in over 20 years and I made it through with all A's. More than that, she makes it fun to learn because she is so passionate about teaching it.

Crystal is unlike any math teacher I have ever had. She is bursting with enthusiam about the subject and inspires enthusiasm in her students too. She emphasizes mathematical concepts and tools you will need to use statistics in the "real" world. If you ever get a chance to take any math class from her, jump on it. She is the greatest!

Chrystal is a great teacher and is very clear in her explanaition. She is enthusiastic abuot her subject. In the summer she doesnt require homework, it is extra credit. Her tests are short and fairly easy. Great teacher if your willing to put in your side of the effort. take her class everyday to get an A.

Crystal is the best math teacher I've ever had!!! I had her for M98, and for the first time I was able understand math. I am now taking her for M99, and she's still great. I'm signed up for M130 with her next qtr. This is the only math teacher I've ever had that I recommend.

No question about it, this is the best math teacher EVER. Xtremely helpful and energetic. Goes totally out of her way to answer questions for students (even ones that are a little beyond the scope of the class). Helps students understand how a concept came to be by a little history on the subject; also gives out little ditties to help students.

I don't recommend this class if you're coming back to Math after a long time, or are lacking in speed. Crystal teaches very quickly. She's not a bad teacher, but she's very strict and doesn't provide much extra help for those who have a more difficult time in the class.

Crystal is good at teaching Math and explains things very well. However, if you are a little "slow", like I am, then you will find it a it harder to get her attention out of class for a little extra help. Keep up on your homework, and ask as many questions in class as needed, she encourages it. I would recomend her to others, just not my favorite.

This class was by far one of the best math classes i have taken at whatcom. Crystal is a great teacher and she is always willing to help if you need anything. She explains everything step by step and really breaks it down well for everyone. She always has a great attitude toward the subject. If you ever have a chance to take math with her TAKE IT!

The notes that you write down are very useful for tests and quiz's. you get one sheet of notes for the test to look off of which is awesome. definitely wasnt looking forward to the class because i barely passed math 98 and averaged a C in high school but she actually made me interested in math again. very good class i would recommend her to ANYONE.

i came in taking a business pre req and left LOVING stats. her name fits her teaching style: she is crystal clear (cheesy, eh). also she allows u to finish tests if u dont have 'enough time' so u can study what u didn't understand before finishing it in the testing center. really great lady, i wish i could take more with her.

Crystal does a very good job explaining the purpose and goals of each class session. She is very thorough at explaining the concepts and walks you through them in a comprehensible way. I really enjoyed her teaching style and enthusiasm. I highly recommend Crystal.

Crystal is an awesome instructor! She's very clear, helpful, & gives many ways to do a problem. Personality is positive & enthusiastic. I would take math with her again if I needed to. She gives you a notes page with formulas to take with multiple tests & CIQ forms for your grade. All a bonus.

Crystal was by far the best teacher I've ever had. She's extremely patient with students who have questions and covers everything super well. Aside from her teaching methods she's also very nice and a cool teacher to have, I wish I could take her for every math class.

Crystal is the BEST math teacher I've ever had. Math has always been confusing for me, and I made it through her class with an A. She has a true gift and passion for teaching. I would recommend her class to anyone. She's down to earth, relatable, and not condescending at all. Her attendance policy rocks too.

Explains the material well and attendance is not required. i missed class many times and just learned from the book or asked questions later. Tests are fairly easy you get a whole page of notes front and back so there is really no reason not to get an A.

Crystal is an incredibly helpful teacher. I have had some mixed experiences with math in the past, but I have taken 2 classes with her and I have always excelled due to her great explanations. I always recommend her class to everyone!

She's way overhyped, just look at all her groupies on here, but she is def a good teacher. I know that is a pretty backhanded compliment. All I'm saying is she's not for everyone. Don't get on the Ravenwood train bc you had a decent experience w her but are afraid to take anyone else. I was like that once but found others I like better. Good tho.

She is wonderful about explaining things that don't make sense. I came into this class knowing most of the material and have come out knowing even more. She's really easy going and will make sure all of your questions are answered. The homework load is never too intense. I highly suggest her.

Crystal is fantastic and so is the text for this class. Whatever isn't made clear in the text she explains in perfect quality with great notes. Her tests are well spaced so you don't have to cram too much.

Loved her class, learned a lot, but easy, she is not. She's fair, and if you work, she's great, but it requires time and actually working through stuff to get it. I loved her. She was so funny, she dressed up as a vampire for Halloween!

She is one of the best math teacher I have had. I have had good experiences with math teachers at WCC. Crystal makes going to class worthwhile. Her welcoming personality makes you feel comfortable in class. She is so sweet and does her absolute best to answer your questions. I would strongly recommend her. She is amazing.

All I can say is that I would hate to have taken Statistics with anyone else! She is awesome and so helpful grasping an otherwise dull subject. If you have the opportunity to take a class with her I suggest you don't pass it up.

I probably don't need to say it because it has been said so many times, but she is a very good instructor. She loves what she does and always appears to be excited. I had her for statistics and she explained things very thoroughly and was very helpful.

If I had always had Crystal as a math instructor, I would never have developed math anxiety. Seriously gifted. I refer to her as the "Math Wisperer." One of the best instructors at Whatcom.

Great teacher! I took Crystal the quarter she was due to have her baby and she was amazing. Not only was her due date at the end of the quarter, but she was also having her bathroom renovated. She was put together, clear, concise and fair. Great teacher, recommended to me by another great teacher. TAKE HER!

Crystal was amazing! This class was not easy but there is no reason not to be successful in this course. Crystal is the most clear math instructor I have ever had. She teaches you how to use the TI84 in ways that make the tests so intuitive! Would highly recommend Crystal above all others. I have math anxiety and earned an A in her class! Great!!!!

Crystal is witty, hilarious, and absolutely a joy to take class from. I attempted stats a previous quarter with a different teacher and had to drop(it was so confusing), but she made learning it a breeze! I came out of her class LOVING stats. Go to class, do the homework, and take lecture notes. Super fun, easy class. Love her!

She was a decent teacher. I agree with the other comment that she only teaches what you absolutely need to know. Her teaching style bothered me (LONG videos) so I still ended up going through the entire book myself, but she did put in a ton of effort and was always available to help - so I figure it's more me than her.

I really love this teacher! I took online class and her videos are very useful for the assessments! Throughout the quarter, you get an assessment and discussion every week (It is like a test but sometimes it is only a page long) It is not difficult and the class is very easy to follow. I really enjoy this class! Take statistics with this teacher!

The class is super easy. Weekly discussion (indirectly related to stats) and assignment you can have notes for. The videos are great, easy to follow, and directly apply to the assignments (which is what your grade is basically based on). Not only that, but Crystal's humor came through even for an online class, and I absolutely loved it.

This was the first time I took a math course online and I was scared, but Crystal made it super understandable and easy! The lectures (videos) she has are extremely helpful and the tests were not hard at all. I would recommend her 100%!

Took this course online over the summer. I hadn't taken math in several years, but this was easier than Chemistry. Do the work and you'll get an A. Clear grading format, so no surprises.

I took Crystal's class online and it was one of the easy classes that I've had. She had videos in which she taught the information and at the end of each week there was an assessment. Group discussion were also included, but they were easy. Homework was assigned, but it was optional. Overall, it was a easy class.

I love love love Crystal's teaching technique! She does wonderful study videos and makes an online course so fun and interactive!! Take her class and you will not regret it!!

I was a bit nervous going into this class because we only worked in groups, but Crystal managed to make this work for me. The content is difficult but she always explained everything super well and answered all questions. Crystal has so much energy and you can tell she loves to teach. I would definitely recommend her to anybody!!

Totally recommend taking her class! She is always willing to help when you're confused and she teaches the content so well and so thoroughly, which is extrememly helpful. Almost half of your grade is based on participation points and doing homework so attendance is really important!!

Crystal was incredibly helpful and her online Stats class was formatted in a way that was clear and easy to navigate. Participate in the class discussions, which are often quite interesting, follow along with her lecture videos, take notes from them, and create a good notecard to use for the test each week and it will be a breeze.

If all you need is to pass Stats, take Crystal. I took her online class, didn't do any homework and passed with an A very easily. The examples in her videos show you exactly how to solve the problems on the assessments. If you actually need to learn the material for your degree, this might not be the class for you as I don't remember anything.

I took stats online with her this summer and it was so chill! Youre only graded on a weekly discussion and chapter assessment, which are both due on Mondays. Therefore, you have the whole week to take notes and watch lecture videos. Along with that, we used a book that she provided by a free pdf download, so we didnt have to buy it!

Very easy and kind professor. Even though it was an online class, I felt like she cared about acknowledging everyone's discussion contributions and was ready to help if you needed it. I never read from the textbook and just watched her videos to complete the assignment at the end of each week. The discussion topics were also pretty interesting

It's easy to get a 4.0 as long as you do the work. She use labor based grading which is very kind for students who need a high GPA. The video lectures are very clear and organized. She is caring and willing to help every student.

I took Crystal's business math class, I loved her class. I'm defiantly be taking her bus-calc class. There isn't a plethora of mandatory homework but there is a lot of suggested homework that will help prepare for the tests or assessments. She gave us a chance to correct our work if we answered any questions wrong on the tests which I appreciate!

I don't think I could have passed stats without Crystal! Her online class was absolutely amazing - she is a wonderful professor! You can tell she really cares about her students success and tries her best to make the class the best it can be. Her lecture videos are so helpful and easy to follow.100% recommend!

Great Professor! For each concept she made and linked her own video. Each test and quiz was based off of exactly what she taught in her videos. Her chapter reviews were very similar to what was on the weekly quiz. Weekly discussion post was just watching a video and giving you own thoughts, very easy to complete. Again very great professor.

Professor Crystal's MATH146 class was pretty chill. The lectures were clear and she was willing to help. I used unstuckstudy along with the free textbook to ace the assessments. Overall, a solid class if you stay on top of the work.

This professor really takes the time to teach the class content. I hated reading the textbook, luckily she made youtube videos that go more in depth on the content. She also has a really great note taking style, 10/10 would recommend. She only grades based on end of week discussions and end of week assessments/quizes. HW is not mandatory or graded

Would 100% recommend Crystal for any math course. I did fully online and she made lectures easy to understand. There is a lot of homework weekly but it's not too difficult and she grades homework based on effort and completion on problems-not if they are correct. She gives feedback on every test and homework and allows for makeup attempts on tests.

I took this class online. There were lectures for math lessons, a small reading, and homework (about 3-6 of these a week), and two different assessments. The teacher was very helpful when I had questions though, and was kind. I highly recommend her!
