Mrs. Manboard is a fairly easy teacher. She likes to joke with the students and rewards them with homemade treats at times. She likes to make students critically think about how to do their papers but grades easy in the end. She gives feedback on all papers so you know how to improve for the next time. She keeps class very interesting. There is work due but it's not difficult. She gives interesting topics and as long as you stay on MLA format you are good. There are not tests or real quizzes, but there are papers and some in class assignments. I recommend her and would take her again. I am kind of lazy and I still got an A.

She is very nice and very helpful, but you must attend class, because there a lot of in class writings. Class seemed more like a debate class than an English comp class, not sure if I liked it as I didn't learn much about English Comp. Only 4 papers though!

Best teacher ever! I took both english 1301 & 1302 flex classes and as long as you attend class and keep up with the work you will get an easy A. She even lets you turn in any assignments you missed at the end of the semester. She's funny and helpful, take her class you wont regret it!

She was ok. The assignments were confusing and sometimes you would not know if you had an assignment due or not. Grades essays pretty fairly- not easy. Didn't enjoy class, but the projects and discussions are fun.

You can tell that she really loves teaching, and does not any of her students to fail. there are 3 major assignments(you can exempt the 3rd), a couple quizzes, and many in class assignments.Your grade is work based: what you put in, you will get out. However she grades fairly & she is very funny and encouraging.

Crystal Manboard is by far the best professor I have ever had. She works very hard to make sure each and every student understands what they are doing. She gives lots of opportunity for you to bring up your grade if you aren't doing well. She even helps out with answers on quizzes and she doesn't give long or boring lectures.

Loved this class! She makes you work for your grades on the assignments, but they aren't hard and she's eager to help you understand something that may be causing confusion. Miss Manboard was easily one of my favorite classes at Northwest Vista. She is very clear on grading criteria, and is very helpful when it comes to fixing mistakes in your paper. Also one of the few teachers where I felt the class was genuinely "fun". Would love to take her again if given the chance.

Quizzes are not multiple choice. You get out early. A lot of writing assignments. Helps and talks to you if you need help (there's always time). You definitely learn something about writing academic essays. Not boring, unless your class is (she's funny though). Easy A if you're good at writing but make sure to buy the books, she uses it a lot.

Professor Manboard is an excellent English teacher! You do a lot of writing, which is understandable since it is a composition course. You also do a few presentations. I'm not someone who is comfortable presenting, but her class made me feel okay with presenting. Another thing I loved was she always gave feedback on every text entry or essay.

There's not really room for careless mistakes in your essays, it's a pretty simple class. There's about 3-4 essays, but they're all pretty easy. You do need the book for some in class assignments and homework readings. The assignments are very easy and self explaintory also.

My first day in the class I was shy but, the instructor was funny and helped us in class if we needed it. I was a little salty when she put a 0 on an assignment I didn't do. But that was early in the class, so now she reviews my papers gives me great feedback and still makes the students laugh. I am taking her class again and I would recommend her

I highly recommend this professor. She is funny at times and its an easy A to get in this course. Expect to attend class, in class assignments, group work, reasonable essays. The essays arent hard since its mainly up to 3 pages and she has great example guides for your essay writing. Shes willing to help and improve on anything.

I'm having comp2 with her. and she is AMAZING. she accepts late assignments and makes sure that you'll pass with an A. there are too many assignments but they are easy and most of them are done during the class time. I loved her class. take her you won't regret it

I took Dr. Manboard for both 1301 and 1302 because after my first semester, I knew I had to take her again. Although there were assignments everyday, they were never too difficult to do and you were always able to ask her whenever you needed help. You can tell she really loves her job and her students and I wish all teachers were exactly like her.
