Brother Chandler gives great insights and answers to questions. The assignments were very clear and he provides plenty of opportunity for questions, so ask if you feel confused at all. The midterm grade may shock you, but you can talk things over with him to figure out what you need to improve on. He is always open to chatting about any concerns.

I absolutely LOVED Chandler's class! I wish I could take it again. Looking back, there was more homework than other classes, but I enjoyed the class and the content so much it didn't even feel like that much work to me. I feel like I learned so much about actual, real life teaching, way more than any other class I've ever taken! Highly Recommend!

There is homework after every class, but he usually ends class early giving you 30 min or more to get started, as well as just having it due before the next class. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If you work hard you will learn so much! It is worth it.

Does Brother Chandler give out a lot of homework? Yes. But, the homework that he gave out was so that he understood if we knew the material. For the midterm and final he told us that the work we put into it is most likely not what we would do as future teachers but he wants to make sure that we are prepared. Brother Chandler is a professor that cares and will go out of his way to make sure students know what they are expected to do. Going to class in person or over zoom if it is online is required, you won't pass if you don't go. You will have assignments every week and they are due before class. He goes over what he expects and is open to questions

Class sometimes ends early which is nice. The TA, Drew, was probably the most frustrating. She would give zeros or comment then be nearly impossible to get a hold of.

Look, ED361 is a HARD class. It's meant to be that way. But Bro Chandler made it accessible. He outlines what hes looking for, makes video tutorials, and is open for questions. Midterm and final project are a beast, but you have plenty of time to do it. He even adjusts hw to make it shorter if he feels its too much. He is there to help you. 10/10

Brother Chandler is a nice and serious guy! Claims to be laid back but I have taken two classes from him, you need to be ready to participate and do your best on all assignments. Brother Chandler has specific grading rules and always listed the criteria, but it can be overwhelming at times. He takes FOREVER to grade things! So try to be patient!

Brother Chandler is so awesome! I have probably learned more in this class about becoming an educator than in all my education classes combined. The assignments and projects are difficult, but meaningful. But, I felt like getting a good grade was a moving target, he will mark down for things you did correctly, so challenge him on how he grades you.

Bro. Chandler knows his stuff. In that sense, he was great to learn from because he knows a lot. Mainly, the delivery and class structure are what got me. He can be disorganized, which makes it confusing. The final was 67% of the grade, but there was still a lot of busy work/HW throughout the semester. If you take this class, focus on the final!

Not an easy A but definitely worth your time. I learned so much about lesson plans and how to be an effective teacher. Warning, the Midterm and Final are huge, but he takes you through them step by step.

Professor Chandler's approach to instruction is friendly and extremely likable. The combination of clear grading criteria with challenging assignments pushed my peers and I to achieve more than what I thought would be possible in this course. HOWEVER, the structure of ED361 requires dedicated attention and discipline! Not for the faint of heart.

Although there is lots do to, everything we were doing was relevant to what we will be doing as a future teacher. Brother Chandler did a great job lecturing and being flexible. Holy cow Hermano Chandler is a stud. I don't know if I've ever had such a skilled, interesting, hard working, and organized professor in my life, and I graduate next semester. He is an absolute legend and I would take him again in a heartbeat. 10/10 recommend, he's definitely a teacher I want to be more like someday.

BUT Brother Chandler is incredibly organized, the assignments are not that time-consuming (except for the Midterm Lesson Plan and the Final Lesson Plan), and if you complete your assingments on time and actually complete them, you can revise your work! I know this isn't on him, but this class should be a five or six-credit class. Even though he provides good feedback, I didn't really feel he cared for my individual success. Professor Chandler is a pretty good teacher. He gives you the opportunity to go back and fix mistakes on assignments if you get a bad grade and he'll give you more points. Attendance is mandatory and more than five days missed would result in having to retake the class. If you come to class you will be prepared for all of the assignments. This class is hard 3 credits but Bro. Chandler is a great option to take it with. Expect an hour of hw after each class, and video quizzes very often. There is a medium/large midterm lesson plan BUT it prepares you for the Final which is a large lesson plan. He answers questions and is caring in the timing to complete the final! Great teacher!

ed 361 overall can seem like a daunting class. Bro Chandler is kind, warm, funny, and keeps you engaged all of the class. He adequately prepares you for assignments and is very helpful in letting you make revisions to most things. TAKE IT FROM HIM!!! you won't regret it.

This class was very helpful, I got a lot out of the class, Brother Chandler is a great teacher and provides great feedback. If you turn in an assignment on time and complete you can go back and make up any points you lost and use the feedback to correct any mistakes which is really nice. It's a tough class with a heavy workload but it's worth it.

This class is very hard. I took it as a one of my first ever teaching courses which I don't recommend. There is a ton of work that is due right before each class starts. Brother Chandler's lectures were very informative and he made sure to explain every assignment. I was able to receive so many resources and skills that I will be using later on.

This class was quite difficult and a lot of work but good. Something that I really like is how if you turn and complete an assignment on time, he lets you re-do any points you miss. The 2 main projects are so much work but I learned a lot. He has clear expectations and there aren't any tests except for the google level 1 exam.

Although there is quite a bit of work, you learn A LOT. The work given helps you work with the students in the practicum and create great lessons. He works with you to ensure you succeed.

I chose to take brother chandlers class because he is the only Male English teacher available for ENG150. Im not sexist but I cannot learn from a female English teacher, they just teach and think differently. Brother Chandler shoots English straight. He's honest about the boring stuffs, and is honest about what he doesn't know. Class is easy.

Writing has always been hard for me, especially because English is my second language. However, Brother Chandler made the class enjoyable, even if the material was tough, so I would recommend someone to take this class with him.
